My family and I came here and rented out a few cabins and we had the time of our lives! The cabins are clean, cozy and come with a kitchen stuff to cook a feast, which we did. This place is conveniently located along Oak Creek and the views are gorgeous. The cabin that I rented offered a hot tub right off the master suite's deck. I was concerned that it would be this old, worn out tub of water but it was pristine and large enough to fit 7 adults. We lit a fire every day and slept with all the doors open, they gave us a key but we didn't use it once. Not one bad experience - I kept glancing into the nooks and cranny's to check for scary bugs lurking, there weren't any - all around a perfect trip!

What a great place. Friendly staff. The restaurant was yummy and priced right. Grounds were clean. Cabin was a nice size and clean. Only complaint is that the bed was so soft, seems like it needs to be replaced.

I love this place! The view from room 26 is awesome; listening to the creek below is wonderful! Got a great night sleep on the comfortable bed. Bathroom and kitchen are updated with granite and modern appliances! Great location: right down from slide rock. Enough out of town that it quiet, cool, peaceful; but close enough to get to town for the tours etc. spotting wifi: no cell service! Loved it: no kids on phones all day and family games and conversation filled the night!

I've been staying at Junipine for various reasons over the years, and have always had a good experience. Each cabin is different, which makes every time we stay a little different. The hospitality of the staff is always top notch and they are super accommodating. This isn't a "cheap" place to stay, but they make sure your money is well spent. The grounds are beautiful and lend well to hiking or taking walks and everything is well maintained. Each cabin is individually owned, and I've found some to be better than others. The layout is typically the same, but I would work with the front desk to determine which one is best for your situation. They have an onsite restaurant that is actually pretty good. I've eaten dinner there as well as had room service breakfast. Both times I found the food to be solid... not amazing, but definitely good. Junipine is great for family getaway! If you're in Sedona with family and want a nice cabin experience, I would highly recommend Junipine!

Our first stay and it was very nice. Very peaceful and we could hear the creek from our balconies. The night sky was also incredible. We had unit 45, which is a creek view price. We could kind of see the creek if we stood in just the right place. I wouldn't pay for a creek view again unless it was one of the units closer to the creek (cabin numbers1-8). Wifi is spotty. The staff is very friendly. The unit was clean and in good repair. The food sold in the lobby isn't great so bring grocery store food. The restaurant is not open M-W.

What a great place to stay! Located right outside of Sedona, the setting is picturesque, with plenty of trails surrounding the property making it easy to become one with nature. We stayed in one of the condos at this beautiful resort for just one night on our way from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon. Although our stay was brief, it was incredibly enjoyable and we would have loved to have spent even more time at Junipine. The unit where we stayed had a wonderful deck, which was perfect for enjoying a glass of wine and recapping our day hikes. We had five people, and the two-bedroom unit fit us all comfortably. It was spacious with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an open floorplan on the first level. The condo style also means there was a full kitchen, so we were able to make our own breakfast, rather than heading out to a restaurant for grub. The ambiance of the entire resort was also very calming, which was a perfect way to start our Grand Canyon vacation! Bottom line: The staff was friendly, the unit was extremely clean, and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting. I highly recommend Junipine for anyone taking a trip to Sedona.

2nd time back at Junipine. We LOVE it there. The staff is always very accommodating and ensures you get the best possible stay. The cafe is nice for breakfast (great salsa!) Both rooms we've had have been perfectly cozy and very clean. Truly feels like a home away from home. Planning our next trip soon!

I came here over the weekend for my friend's wedding, which was held in the gazebo along Oak Creek. Among all the beautiful tall trees, the creek and beautiful weather, what a GORGEOUS little wedding ceremony spot! The only thing was it started pouring rain right after "I do"! Oh well, guess they say rain is good luck! Would like to return to stay but know the room prices are a little high ($300).

Ever had an experience that was so bad you didn't know quite how to express it? Well... I'm gonna give it a shot. Newly engaged, my fiancé and I decided to get out of town and one of my favorite places in Arizona is Oak Creek. I had never heard of Junipine but a room was available and the ratings were awesome so we decided to spend the most we had ever spent on a room ($360) and head north for the night. When we got there, we were pleased with the place, the people and the view and took the recommendation of dining at the Junipine restaurant. Sounds great so far, huh? Wait for it..... The room had a super perfumey smell and I desperately looked for a glade plugin to no avail and gave up. We unpacked and headed to the restaurant where we had probably the worst meal I have eaten since EVER! The hamburger had a strange, chewy texture that I assumed was frost bite. No seasoning and the salad dressing is the kind that blobs from a plastic jug. After we went back to the perfumey room the food poisoning struck both of us. We spent the rest of the evening taking turns in the bathroom. Romantic, eh? The food is horrible - the room is filled with neurotoxins and the price for all that is ridiculous! Oh and the friendly people at check in are indifferent at check out.

Junipine offered me a complimentary stay at their resort after my bad wedding experience. It was a decent stay even though the staff didn't know what was going on or that we were staying there as complimentary guests. The front desk man tried running my debit card even after I told him it was comped. After I made a fuss about it he eventually looked up my information and found out it was true. They refunded my money back but it took 3 business days to return to my account. That really annoyed me because I was on my way out to Hawaii after my stay there and had to wait for my money. The place still lacks a lot of organization and they still aren't very professional. But at least the manager tried making up for it, he listened to my complaint and tried to find a solution.

We actually honeymooned here in January 2014, but it was a wonderful time to be here! It had just snowed and was in the 60s during the day, beautiful! Perfect weather for the hot tub. Definitely opt for a creek view jacuzzi room if you're going to stay here. The creek is gorgeous. The cabins are good size with a common area, dining table and full kitchen, which is nice if you don't want to go into town for food all the time. It's outside of town and is nicely secluded, definitely made for a relaxing getaway. We would absolutely stay here again!

Very nice! Away from the city, but not too far. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment, which was very clean, with all the amenities as described, although a bit outdated. The staff is very friendly and willing to help any time. Be sure to try the restaurant: it's great!

Junipine is simply remarkable, from the time you call to make the reservation to the time you cry because you don't want to leave. Their staff goes out of their way to help you. I needed some aluminum foil for cooking and they got it from their cafe and brought it right to my cabin in under five minutes! The cabins are so beautiful and private. Get a cabin with a hot tub, you will regret it if you don't. Star gazing in the beautiful red rocks and pines is so amazing sitting in the hot tub. These cabins are individually owned, just ask for one that has been "updated." There are two views, the woods and the creek; obviously the creek side is more costly. Next time we are going to kick in the extra to have a hot tub room on the creek, it is so peaceful. All of these cabins are stocked and ready to go with everything you need to cook, and the kitchen was nicer than ours back home. There is NO cellular service in this area, but they have free wi-fi that works perfectly. Their cafe on sight has such a wonderful breakfast, and they deliver it to your cabin for only an additional $3.00 charge, make sure to try the cinnamon-walnut french toast. This place is just awesome, we will be back again.

We made a last minute stop here to enjoy Oak Creek Canyon before moving on. When the room price was mentioned to us ($280), I nearly said "no thanks", but decided to splurge and give it a try. We were getting burned out on the big hotel chains, and needed something different. I'm glad we did stay. The rooms have plenty of space, and the large private deck overlooking Oak Creek Canyon was spectacular. The only real drawback was the "super-crappy" wifi (either improve it- or get rid of it. I'm on something of a working vacation, so bad wifi made a difference. Setting that aside, the room had everything: kitchen, walk-out master to the deck and views, fireplace, DTV (olympics were on), and SPACE! Four stars! I knocked it down one only because of bad wifi.

What a great stay at Junipine Resort. Our check in was easy and relaxed. They had everything ready for us. It was just me and my significant other who is also a workaholic on was supposed to be a quick get away as long as he could work a little. So upon check in we inquired about the cell phone connection and were informed that in the canyon there really is no connection which was devastating to my boyfriend. Upon getting to our room we noticed that there was no connection at all and this was a necessity. Based on this we went back up to the front desk and inquired about checking out early due to this problem. The front desk was very understanding and work with us checking out the next day. The room itself was in immaculate condition and had a view that could knock your socks off. Just beautiful. I could have stayed here all weekend. Unit ad a full kitchen and bathroom with a living room and large bedroom. Loved the fireplace inside the bedroom and loved the large bathroom. My boyfriend said the only thing that would make this place better would be a antenna on the side of the mountain so that his cellphone would work. Easy drive into sedona and great location to get to hiking locations.

Last minute getaway on Memorial weekend. Check in was 3 pm. We were told to call around 11 to see if the guest before us left early so we could check in earlier than 3. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Was glad to hear that the reason it takes so long is because they are draining Jacuzzi out, clean it, and refill for us. That means they are clean :) Very friendly staff. They have DVD's to rent in case you didn't bring your own to keep the kids occupied. The fire place come stocked with some wood, but you can get more from the lobby if you need more. The first bag is free, and $9/bag after that. We stayed in unit 27. It has granite counter, all stainless steel appliances, (full size fridge, dish washer, flat top stove with oven) 4 slot toaster, coffee maker. Kitchen is well stocked, so you don't need to bring any utensils or cookware. Even the baking pans! Master bedroom has nice comfy king size bed. Second room has 2 full size beds, and loft (with a cool spiral stairs) has 2 kids beds. Patio has dining table with chairs and 2 lounge chars as well. The Jacuzzi is on the patio looking over the creek. Very quiet. The unit we stayed was well maintained and kept clean. It was well worth the money for a peaceful Sedona getaway!!!

This is my favorite place to stay near Sedona, close to the town but not too close. The condos are right on the creek, so the kids can wade in or fish or look for wiggly things. You can hike upstream to some beautiful, deep, clear swimming holes. The two condos that we've stayed in have a kitchen, living room with fireplace, and bedroom downstairs, and an upstairs loft with two twin beds and a skylight to see the stars. Very comfortable to travel with kids because you have your own fridge and stove. It even has pots and pans, and barbecues outside. Temps were 85 during the day (August) and high 50's at night, rain almost every afternoon.

Wow -- this was my first visit to Sedona, and we stayed here 5 nights. It was heavenly to be high up, like in a treehouse, with strikingly beautiful cliffs all around us. I don't think you could ask for more pure, refreshing mountain air anywhere. Or silence and peace. There were many tall trees around this property, but also tons of sun on the decks all day, so you can have shade or sun on the deck as you wished, any time. The condos are gorgeous. Romantic, cozy, beautifully appointed, fireplace, hot tub on deck, terrific bed, lovely little restaurant right on the property that seems to be popular in the area. About 17 minutes into town - and a gorgeous drive. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I loved are one night stay in an amazing room with a hot tub. Quiet, relaxing, and comfortable. We had a fire going in our room all night while we had s'mores. The only down side was the "room service" it was not room service but a delivery service and the food was so so. It came in a plastic bag and was handed to me at the door. So why did I pay $3 and 18% service fee for a lady to walk 100 feet? And had me a plastic bag. I thought after paying $250 for one night the room service would be "on point" but they really dropped the ball here. After I told the front desk she didn't really care.

This place was the perfect spot to rest and unwind after the more grueling portion of our vacation. After backpacking in Zion and the Grand Canyon, we decided to find a place to rest and recoup before heading home. We had a condo with a hot tub on the back porch. This was not only great for relaxing, but the views as you watch the sun rise or set against the gorgeous red rock formations were amazing. The condo was well-appointed, with everything we needed and the staff was courteous and efficient. I would recommend Junipine to anyone traveling in this area!

We fell in love with this place so far we haven't been any where in Sedona that topped it's service and beauty. They were very helpful and let us use the fishing gear for free. The fireplace was beautiful created a very romantic atmosphere. We did not want to leave it's my dream to live there.

Absolutely fantastic. Very Spacious. Extreemly Comfortable. Good value. Great, peaceful location. Close to Sedona but just far enough away. Great for families or couples. Highly recommended. The whole family loved this Resort. Wish we could have stayed longer.

What an awesome, incredible place to spend my birthday weekend and our first visit to Sedona!! I feel so fortunate to have found this condo resort on the internet, and it was definitely worth the price. We stayed in Unit #40 which had 2 fireplaces and a wonderful, huge deck overlooking the forest and creek. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful, and we enjoyed watching an afternoon thunderstorm - a welcome break from the hustle & bustle of Phoenix. I can't even begin to describe how breathtaking it is to wake up with the amazing view of the mountains from this place. You need to experience it yourself.

Just got finished having a fantastic stay at Junipine Resort. We originally planned on staying in a standard chain hotel in Flagstaff, but for just $60 more we were able to stay at the Junipine, and we are so glad we did. We ordered the Forest View hotel but found out when we arrived they'd given us a free upgrade to the Creekside. The room had a wonderful lodge-y feel but still felt new. Nothing felt nicer than building a fire in the evening then waking up and enjoying a cup of hot coffee on the patio overlooking the creek. What a relaxing, amazing weekend. We definitely plan on staying again.

Junipine Resort rents out individually owned condo units. The creekside unit we were first assigned to was not good at all. The furniture, decor, kitchen, and bathroom were extremely outdated and not in the best shape. The bathroom tub caulking had lots of mold and the general feel of the unit was creepy especially because the upstairs loft looked like the room from the horror movie "The Ring." The next unit we were moved to was phenomenal. It felt like it was decorated and taken care of with love and attention to detail. The bathroom and kitchen were renovated, the decor was more up to date, and there were nice little touches like herbs and spices in the kitchen and a journal that guests of that unit can share experiences in. The wrap around deck was nice and the sound of the creek was therapeutic. This resort is truly a great value in the Sedona area. They offer a lot of complimentary things such as DVD rentals, daily firewood, wifi, and breakfast. At the off-season rate they offer, you just cannot find a better deal for such a well-appointed, perfectly placed, serene getaway.

Condo property that is beautiful, peaceful, and very well kept. Stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed the entire time. We never heard our neighbors, just to creek and the breeze. Full kitchens mean you don't have to eat out every night, and the location is close enough to Sedona without being in the middle of the tourist crush. I would stay here again and again.

This is a five star resort. Period! No questions. This was our fourth trip to Junipine. You can smell the burning Junipine logs wafting in the air as you pull in. Staff at front desk are amazing. Mike, helped me with a problem with my confirmation and called me back when he found the answers. Saved me. Cabins are huge, several large bedrooms, with a deck facing a thousand foot canyon, with a hot tub and plenty of stars at nite. Western and rustic is the decor, yet elegant. Wish we could stay much longer. We plan on going back often. They know the best spots to eat, hike, recreate in beautiful Sedona. With the West Fork Trail and Slide Rock five minutes away, we are in heaven.

We came into Oak Creek Canyon hoping to camp but with the early morning thunderstorms, we checked a few different places on the main road instead. We went to 3 places, I forget their names but one of them was Oak Creek Canyon Terrace or something, and their suite was old and musty for about the same price as we stayed at Junipine. Junipine is pretty expensive, but as a young student with a triple A card, my girlfriend and I stayed in unit 21, no one else shared with us, and it was a gorgeous 2 bedroom house with granite kitchen, several fireplaces, a GORGEOUS huge shower and an even better huge balcony overlooking the forests and a tiny bit of the creek. I got all of that for $171/night, and it was the most gorgeous resort I've ever stayed at (if you wanna call it that), and thats among resorts that go up to $500/night. UNBELIEVABLE PLACE, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I highly recommend Junipine. My son fished and played in the creek, teenage daughter loved having a large room with her own bath to hang out in, and my husband and I enjoyed the high quality of the resort. We had a 2 bdrm with loft "house" (like a condo) with kitchen, private deck and hot tub overlooking the forest. In the middle of July it was a welcome break from the heat. Oak Creek Canyon is beautiful. Al the staff were tremendously helpful. We borrowed fishing gear to use and enjoyed a game of horseshoes. Ask for midweek summer discounts. Great value.

This place was fantastic! When you walk in to your cabin the first thing you realize is you really feel like home. The second thing you realized is just how much you get for your money. I had a two bedroom with two different balconies, a full kitchen, living room, and two fireplaces. It was great sitting on the patio with my book and my cup of coffee in the morning and listening to the brook babble below. Don't forget to write something in the guest book. My girlfriend and I really liked reading through others' experiences.

I cannot say enough about this resort. My partner and I were celebrating our anniversary and escaped Prescott to get into our favorite place, Sedona. I wanted to have private unit and private Jacuzzi, this we had!! The first unit was #50, very close to the road, noisy, we had initially asked to have an upgraded room, this seemed very outdated, spacious, but outdated. I called the lobby and told them of my issue, they gave us a unit that was completely remodeled with new appliances and granit in all the rooms, walk in shower stall and separate vanity. The kitchen was great, the upstairs had full bedroom with two full beds and private deck as well as bathroom and separate shower, tub and vanity. The private wrap around deck went out the master suite and the living room. The Jacuzzi was wonderful, hot and great! Clean, Clean and Clean it all was. We spent a good deal of time lounging and this was a treat. The unit was for sale, this may have been why it was so nice, but we believe them to all be getting updates, just make sure you ask. Restaurant is average, we did eat in once and have room service also, all reasonably priced. If you need to work or watch movies the WIFI is really not very good, but we did get Pandora, streaming movies was painful. We cannot say enough.

Is this place For Real? Serenity wrapped in the arms of nature = Peaceful Bliss! Only unfortunate find was the unwelcome guest, mouse. Integrity of the resort was the kind notice that this may happen, and they did take care of it as they promised. Book it!

I can't believe there aren't more positive reviews for this place yet! We just returned from a family weekend at Junipine and fell in love with the cozy accomodations and serene surroundings. We booked a creekside 'cabin' which came complete with full kitchen, two bedrooms/bathrooms, a lovely wood burning fireplace and a spacious deck with the most beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, woodlands and creek. For anyone looking for a place to relax and unwind for a day or two, Junipine is truly a hidden gem tucked away from the ever-growing madness of the surrounding downtown Sedona--we will definitely be back!

I brought my parents here along with their neighbors. The resort is hidden amongst trees and the red rocks a little ways away from town. We absolutely loved it. We were near the creek and caught fresh trout. Threw them on the bbq grill but once it got dark, there's no light and we couldn't see the fish on the grill so we ended up bringing it inside to finish cooking. I didn't care after a while that there was no light outside because the starry sky was beautiful. Our cabin was a 2 bedroom with loft. Fully loaded kitchen, tv, internet, 2 fireplaces and a deck. it was only about 10-15 min to town. The manager, Chris, was wonderful. You can rent movies from the front office. There's a tiny laundry room on site. They provide the wood for the fireplaces. If you plan on using the grills, do it early and make sure you have the charcoal and lighter fluid. We forgot the lighter fluid and it took us forever to get the fire going. That's why it was dark by the time we started cooking. haha There's no smoking on the premises so my mom had to suffer until she got into town. We all fell in love with Sedona and Junipine Resort. Unfortunately, no pets allowed so my babies had to be boarded back home. We'll be back one day.
