I am so glad I found this place before our 2 hour back to back traffic when leaving Sedona. There was so many items on the menu I wanted but we would be driving and eating so I had to limit my choices. The Italiano sandwich was perfect. Packed perfectly and service was perfect. The packaged cookies were a perfect addition for the trip. The blueberry muffin was also wonderful. Wishing I could eat there again but Goodbye Sedona .....

The sandwiches were good. I had roast beef with blue cheese and hubby had a turkey Blt and a grilled cheese. Great choice of drinks. It was disturbing to be to look into kitchen and see the cook eating while he was cooking. Don't think that is very clean. I would not go back again.

Big, hearty sandwiches. Nice assortment of hard-to-find European goodies too!

We really enjoyed our lunch of Bavarian Bratwurst, potato salad and Greek salad. Great little place, neat imported groceries and very friendly people!

Very average food. Chicken in my salad was dry, very little to no flavor. I would give the food a passing grade but not anything to go out of the way for. Atmosphere is nice. Service is slow so make sure you are not in a hurry if you stop in here. You can expect 20 min easy wait for food.

(They gave me poor customer service the last time I went in there. They refused to make me 3 basic sandwiches when I got in there 25 minutes BEFORE closing time. But this place is so good I am going to forgive them.) I've tried several delis in/near town and all of them were just mediocre. Glad I gave this place a try because I found the hidden gem of the city. I'm really picky and usually like food more for the texture rather than the taste but this place found AMAZING taste & texture! Its hard to find the perfect texture in anything. They found the right texture in the bread & its the freshest meat--better than Boars Head products! The dressing is so delicious too. I'm still salvatating. The sandwich I tried is called the Italiano. Yumm!! Give it a try. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! (The only thing I don't like is on their yelp page it does not give the hours of operation. But I dont think that is their fault. I'm thinking a yelp user added their business.) (and oh the photo I took of my sandwich was taken at Starbucks. I got my sandwich To Go and drove to Safeway Starbucks, because I was craving Starbucks lol. Euro Deli isn't in Starbucks. Sorry if that made it confusing.)

I went to eat lunch and they said the kitchen was closed, before the ending time. Abide by the times, stated or state what time the kitchen closes. No, sorry, etc was said. Would not recommend!

I haven't returned here for a while and I'm not sure why. Their food is fresh albeit a bit pricey as delis go but I suspect their rent is higher than other small tourista towns too. They tend to lean more toward Eastern European deli fare and I prefer western, especially Italian. It's neat, clean and offers decent food and service. It's just not some place I go out of my way to patronize but you might like it more than I do.

The food was great! The place was spotless. The lady with the mustache, was a jerk! To bad for euro deli. We would have came back....

Simply put, we had no intention of going here and left with only thanks that we did. My brother got an Irish Reuben and I got the grilled portabello, splitting them between us. Both sandwiches were far above average and pushing towards a five-star rating. Besides the awesome deli the place hosts, there are shelves stocked with many items that anyone from North-Western Europe (or who has traveled there) will immediately recognize... juice boxes included. Anyone stopping off in Sedona who is headed towards Jerome (or other cities to the South) will find that the Euro Deli is lovingly nestled right into the very last plaza on the right before leaving town.

A hidden gem if in the mood for sandwiches, which are huge when you get them. A direct quote, "probably one of the best burgers had in a long time". I had the Italiano gourmet sandwich. Very good. They have teas available for beverage. I purchased an Aloe Vera drink, original, which was addictively good. Seating is limited to two tables inside with more tables outside. Not recommended for kids maybe 10 and under as there is no kid menu and probably would not find the available menu very appetizing.

I can't believe it -- a *genuine* Eastern European (Polish) deli in *Arizona*? (And outside of Phoenix or Tucson, which is even weirder.) My husband and I were staying in Sedona for a week for our anniversary, and bought a bunch of cold cuts and stuff here to stock the room refrigerator at the hotel The quality was excellent, perhaps a hair less than I'd expect to find in Cracow or New York or Chicago, but so close I had to work to tell the difference. This place definitely went on the list when we return. (Sedona is on the list too.) :o)

Stopped in here for lunch on a recent trip to Sedona and so glad we did! This is a little European grocery with a deli. They had hot and cold sandwiches. They have a breakfast menu as well that looked really good. The man who took our order was very pleasant and went above and beyond when he offered to place the chocolate bar we ordered in the cooler until we were done with our lunch. We ate outdoors and he didn't want the chocolate to melt while we ate. We shared a Reuben and some Greek Salad and both were really fantastic! Definitely recommend this place!

  • Fay K.

I love going here, I can get great herring, chicken salad to die for, good coffee and nice atmosphere. Lots of interesting items here I cannot get anywhere else in Sedona. 5 stars for me!

Not one of my favorite spots to eat in Sedona. No complaints about the food ~ it's deli food, the variety is good, and it's tasty, but the prices are high! I like the little "market" feel to the place, and I love their outside seating area, although it's close to the highway and can be a bit loud when traffic is heavy. I wouldn't stop here for food if I was in a hurry ~ I've always had to wait what seems like a long time for anything I've ordered. Although the owners are not really rude, I couldn't really call them friendly, either. I have never felt that this was a very welcoming atmosphere.

  • Gregg S.

Best Rueben sandwich ever!! Takes a little while to get your food but well worth the wait!

  • Emma D.

This place is a total find. We were so obsessed with their Rachel sandwich during a recent trip to Sedona, we had to get it twice. (The Ruben is also killer, if you're into Rubens.) The woman who took our order was incredibly nice, and the food is fresh and delicious. Great non-touristy stop for a low-key breakfast or lunch.

oooooooooh, Euro deli has xllnt sandwiches. a variety that you would think of. love the roast beef & bleu. meats & bread are FRESH, pricey= but you have to pay for the good stuff. tables out front, mostly take away & we take it right to oak creek canyon for a picnic.

We visited Sedona with our dog and wanted to have lunch somewhere outside so our pup wouldn't have to sit back at the hotel. We came upon Euro Deli and decided to give it a shot. The owners are super friendly and accommodating but most of all the food is amazing! We settled on coffee, which was delicious. They were brewing Illy that day and it was very tasty. He ordered a steak sandwich and I had the Russian club. We also shared a side of potato salad. Everything was made from high quality ingredients and was very flavorful. The Russian sauce on my sandwich was so good and I have no idea what Russian sauce is! The owner even brought our dog a bowl of meat and water. When we return to Sedona we will definitely go back to Euro Deli.

  • Nadia F.

This place is small and has a small little European grocery area in front. I ordered the cheeseburger and my boyfriend ordered the Russian club. They were both phenomenal! One of my favorite foods is a cheeseburger and I've eaten millions in my lifetime, I'm sure. And this just might be one of the best ones I've ever had. It was actual ground beef, not a frozen patty, and it was nicely wrapped up and cut in half and had all the fixins I wanted on it. My boyfriend loved his sandwich, and it was quite large. If you are passing through Sedona or have just gone for a hike and want a sandwich, this is the place to go! I think they also had breakfast food items, and other sandwiches, and the next time we're in Sedona, we're coming back here for SURE!

Sausage and pickles and herring and kraut. Awesome.

I had seen the little sign on a previous trip. On the morning we arrived,we almost left thinking the pizza shop was the deli. Thankfully I looked around the corner. I cannot say enough about this jem in Sadona. I had the eggs benedict and by far it the best and most memorable, that is why I am writing this review. My wife had the polish omelete and my friend had an awesome sandwhich. Everything was worth every red cent. Friendly staff and a bit of a wait, but so worth it. I wish they were here in Las Vegas.

  • Bryson T.

I must be a minority here... My wife and I went here for lunch during an anniversary trip weekend and based on these reviews we were both very excited to try their Reuben. Well, we did, and their Smothered Steak sandwich. Both were just so-so. Kind of a disappointment considering 2 sandwiches without a drink cost over $20. We really like Reuben's and have tasted quite a few, but this one wasn't really worth it. The steak sandwich was pretty bare as well. Just didn't quite live up to the hype, I guess. Most of that would probably be our fault by building expectation.

I visited Sedona at the weekend and as I drove through i spotted the European Union flag and being from Ireland I said id give it a whirl. They have an awesome selection here and if I was staying nearby I would be a frequent visitor. They have an amazing range of European produce and meats and the staff are top quality. I ordered some lunch while there and due to my rather thick Irish accent there was a mix up with my order and the wrong dish was prepared. However although I was probably more at fault with the mix up, the staff insisted that the lunch was on the house and they could not have been any more courteous and made it a completely positive experience! The food was absolutely top notch and well worth the small wait. I hope to be passing through once more before I return to Ireland and will most definitely be stopping in for lunch with my girlfriend. As I travel over to Phoenix for work and will have many more colleagues due to be travelling here in the coming year I won't hesitate to recommend this lovely Deli and the equally lovely Sedona to them.

Wonderful service, super food--- very fresh! Great specialty items- polish foods were great! Our resident polish guy loved the Yummy kielbasa and sauerkraut, my hubby loved the Reuben (how was even the last bite still piping hot and scrumptious?!), my boy loved his hot steak sandwich- said it was really good and different from anything he had ever had. The girls all got delicious fresh salads (we had the summer salad- with chicken, berries, and oranges, a super yummy chicken salad over greens and Caesar salads w chicken). The specialty polish cheese was awesome too! The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great time. Indoor seating is limited but the staff helped us move an extra table in out of the heat. Great meal, great service. It's nice to be able to get a fresh healthy meal on the road!

I like the food here, although I'll take a different posture on price. I think it, like anything else in Sedona, is about 10% higher than it should be, or at least 10% higher than anything in an area like Scottsdale or Phoenix. I'm a Sedona local. I find the food is fresh and home made here. What I do not like is the atmosphere, which stems a great deal from the heritage of the Polish owners of the deli, who grew up under communist rule. While they are courteous, they remind me of the "Soup Nazi" on the Seinfeld show. Look around and you'll see signs about "Do not touch this . . . " or "Do not touch that . . . ", "Minimum credit card purchase is . . . " and guidelines on using your cell phone, and so on. People stand in line there and wait much like the Soup Nazi kitchen on Seinfeld. I go in for a bowl of soup and have to wait even for that. I've never gotten in and out in anything less than 10-15 minutes, even when there are only three or four people ahead of me. So, it's good, but it's not as good as the other reviews indicate. While you are there, remember not to wear wet shoes into the restaurant, and how and where to stand while you wait for your order.

Bought sandwiches for our hiking trip and the owners were so sweet! They helped us choose which sandwiches would be best eating after a hike and they were yummy! Love all the european items I was able to purchase at a decent price. So glad they were next door to our hotel.

The place is small European market with a full-service deli. We ordered some salads and sandwiches for a picnic and the food was excellent. We also decided to eat breakfast there and again, very, very good. The woman who owns the place is really friendly and keeps the place well stocked and exceptionally clean. What a unique choice of food, etc... the place has. No doubt the place is probably popular with the locals because the prices are right and quality is very good. Unfortunately, we do not have anything like the Euro Del near our home. I really wish we did......

  • Jen K.

It's pricey for deli food, but this is Sedona, so maybe the rent is high. I was delighted to find Polish food and groceries here. I shared the beef pierogies with a friend. They were good, but not made from scratch at the deli, like I thought they would be. One friend had the potato and ham soup and another had the chicken caesar wrap and everyone was happy with the food. There's a nice outdoor patio, and they were very friendly. The food did take awhile to prepare (I think it was the pierogies holding up the rest of the orders.)

  • F H.

A small place, easily overwhelmed if more than a few customers arrive close together, but the food was fine. If you're not in a hurry, worth stopping by. Food: Cobb Salad was mostly spring greens, ratio of lettuce to other ingredients was a bit off. Reuben was very good.

If I could award more stars to the Euro Deli, I would. It's an adorable, immaculately clean, and small deli that serves delicious deli favorites with an Eastern European flair. More importantly, it's owned and operated by some of the kindest folks I've ever encountered. My husband, small dog, and I had just finished a hike to Devil's Bridge, and were looking for a place to eat where we could bring the dog. While Sedona claims to be very pet friendly, it's not always the case, even on patios. Euro Deli has a visible sign out front saying that they have a dog friendly patio. When we told the owners that we had our dog, the woman came and talked to her, and brought her out a big bowl of turkey. She even hand-fed our dog the turkey while we enjoyed our sandwiches! I have never felt more welcome, and more importantly, our dog has never felt more welcome! And the food was delicious too!!! If you are in Sedona, and need either a sandwich or some meats or Eastern European treats to take back to a kitchen, please stop by Euro Deli. You will not be disappointed!

Fantastic CLEAN deli to purchase huge, delicious sandwiches for your day of hiking. I loved the reuben and my husband devoured his super ham sandwich. YUM. A fun surprise was all the Polish items on the shelf - we visited Poland last year and had fun reminiscing as we picked up Prince Polo bars and Polish Fanta in Sedona!

  • Joe B.

Waited for 35 minutes, and they conpletelt forgot our order after making us wait, and assuring us many times the order was cooking. When we got it, the sandwiches were dry, tasteless, and had cheese (we told them explicitly to put no cheese on the sandwiches). Would NOT recommend, unless you like polish people shouting at each other and getting your orders wrong after half an hour of wasted time.

  • Sarah B.

Ordered the Reuben for lunch and it was amazing!!! I got it to go and my husband I shared it with some fruit we had gotten at the local grocery store back at the resort and it was still nice and hot when we got back. Friendly staff. It was a bit of a wait but I still give it a 5/5 because it just means they made the sandwich fresh. I just walked around the few aisles they had while I waited. They have a few polish grocery items you could buy.

    (5)
  • Russell B.

Hot sandwiches are very good and Chicken soup was also. Good tastes fresh. It's also a small grocery store so inside seating is limited but they have outside tables and chairs. We would eat here again.

Awesome deli! Everything looked & sounded delicious but we ended up with the Reuben and the cabbage and sausage soup... Everything was amazing. Perfect lunch to fuel up before a long hike. The best part of the visit? The friendliness of the owners/ staff. We had our dog with us and they brought out fresh turkey scraps for him.. Which he seemed to love as he devoured them. will definitely return on future trips to Sedona. Thanks for the great service and food!

  • Maggie H.

On my way to an afternoon hike, I saw this place so decided to stop and get some fuel for said hike. The service was extremely friendly and fast. I had the Italiano (mo?) sandwich, which was amazing. The potato salad was quite delicious, as well. What's better than great food and great service?! The fact that their "tips" go to helping animals at the animal shelter. There is also a store, where you can buy your favorite European flairs. Not necessarily my cup of tea, but I knows dad will like it. :)

  • Will L.

Great lunch. I tried the turkey wrap and stuffed cabbage. Both were excellent. I wanted the pierogi's but they said it would be 1/2 wait. There is not much seating and the grocery party of the deli were minimal. Home cooking by a polish family.

  • Carroll S.

Cute, clean, super friendly staff and European delicacies like Hungarian paprika. Worth a visit!

    (4)
  • Brian S.

These sammies kick ass. I had the Bratwurst and the gf had the Italian. Both were amazing. Bread was great. Roasted red peppers were a very nice touch. You may wait a short while for your sandwich but if you know anything about what it takes to make a good one, you will gladly wait. The couple that run the joint are crazy nice and remind me of my polish g-ma. Go there!!

Amazing and friendly family owned place. They were helpful and kind. We also really enjoyed our sandwich which the "mom" ordered for us.

We stopped her on a recent weekend vacation in Sedona. We were looking for something dog friendly, since we had our pups with us. The patio seating attracted us, and we decided to try lunch there. The food was fresh, though a little pricy. I will say, that even though our meal was somewhat expensive, it was clear that there were quality ingredients. The food was well made and very tasty. There were also some great drink options (Illy Coffee and aloe drinks, yumm!) Probably the best part of this place was the service (something Tracy M already noted). When the owner saw we had our dogs with us outside, she brought water for them. Even though it was just April, the temperature was already getting high. She chatted with us a bit, and then asked if she could bring some treats for the dogs. We assumed she'd scrounge up some crummy bisket, but she came out with a variety of cooked sausage and ham straight from the kitchen. The dogs went wild, and we were very appreciative to have a distraction for them. I'm not sure what part of Europe the owner is from, but she clearly is cooking food she knows well. We would happily go back on our next visit and are still grateful for the royal treatment she gave our dogs!

Very good lunch spot for salads, sandwiches, and soups. Everything is fresh and house-made! The Euro store inside also has very tasty and unique food items and drinks, too. The owners are very nice and dog friendly. My wife and I were on the patio with our dogs after a long hike. The owner asked me about them and brought them some very nice cubed bologna for free! You can't beat this place and they love dogs and all animals! We will definitely come back with our furry friends, too!

Awesome. If you're looking for a great sandwich before a hike, stop here. Rivals any east coast deli I've been to.

  • David W.

We stopped off for lunch and immediately realized this was no ordinary Deli. The owner is Polish and she had specialty foods from Poland and Europe like Lily coffee. Their sandwiches and beet soup was really good, fresh and tasty, They really know how to make great sandwiches. She was really helpful in sharing her favorite hikes with us, that we decided to order our lunches for the next day hike to be picked up at 7:30am the next morning. The food was expertly packed for our backpacks, and did the job of feeding our hunger after a 2.5 hour hike. Certainly a recommendation for anyone who is visiting and want to experience a different full service deli. Their bratwurst sandwich is to die for

I had seen this place from the side of the road and decided to stop in and grab some sandwiches. My sister and I ended up getting their Ruben, Bavarian Ham, and some other bacon and turkey sandwich. These were honestly some killer sandwiches. I will definitely be frequenting this location whenever I want to pick up something light for lunch. The only issue I had with my experience was the length of time it took to get a sandwich and the cost. It can be a little spendy for a sandwich, but they did taste like $9 sandwiches.

    (4)
  • Jackie F.

I love this place- get the pierogi! They will fry them up with butter and onions for you. The sandwiches are great- and so is the little polish grocery they have in there. I come here every time I'm in town. The last time, we came by late not realizing they were closing up for the day- the owner fed us anyway and was really nice about it. I really recommend this place!
