Since we tried to go to Memories for a sandwich and they were closed the next best thing - have lunch with a view. So I got my guide book out and saw that Canyon Breeze has patio seating. Well the patio was great and we were lucky to get a table...I thought it was a sitdown restaurant but its not - its cafeteria style...my turkey sandwich was all right... The four stars that I am giving this establishment is for the view - it was so nice to sit on the patio....great, great view...I would suggest just getting a drink - relax and enjoy the view.....I couldn't get enough of it!

I will just add my voice to those saying that this is overpriced and average food. We had the pizza and no drinks. 2 of the 10 inch pizzas were $25 and nothing to write home about.

Came here for only the ice cream (over-priced). But that was understandable given its location and the view that was at the back of the restaurant. The only reason why we came to this establishment was for the view ;-)

Had some ice cream here after a long miserable day of hiking. Cold refreshing ice cream always make things better right? Apparently not. The lemon sorbet has a good tad flavor but the texture is too icy. I am not too thrilled.

We decided to eat here after trying to go to other restaurants that had a long wait....should have waited. The pizzas are flavorless and overpriced. We have had such good food here in Sedona otherwise.

First time to sedona... very cool. Stay AWAY from this dump. Food is over priced, sub par at best and service follows the same.

Poor quality food, worse service. Breakfast was cold, toast was burnt and no offer to fix things. Worst dining experience in a long while.

We got the chicken qeusadilla the chicken cordon bleu panini and chicken enchiladas and it was very tasty. There's an outside eating area that has a beautiful view. Finally we got some good ice cream for dessert. All this for $40 which is cheap compared to other restaurants in the area. My daughter wanted to give it 4 stars :) I'm not sure if they remodeled it but it didn't seem like a cafeteria to us, there was a bar, multiple flat screen tvs, a nice outside area so I'm not sure why the others only gave it 2 stars but we were very satisfied.

This is mostly like a food court after breakfast. Prices are a bit high, but this is in Old Sedona where most prices are a bit high. The Taco Salad was just bagged lettuce in a tortilla shell with a little sliced chicken breast on top, not cut up and tossed. Not very flavorful, but costly. Service was slow from the kitchen. Lots of tour group customers fill the seats.

This was the only place that was serving food when we arrived in Sedona at about 9:30 pm on a Friday night. My husband was very insistent that the patrons who were in there looked like they were from the Fat Boy Slim "Praise You" video. I just thought that they were on LSD. We paid $25 for two sandwiches and one fountain drink so it's pricey because it's Uptown Sedona and they know they can charge that. My blackened chicken sandwich was dry and the white bread it was on was disgusting. My husband's panini that was on ciabatti bread was stale. Avoid if you can--there are better places out there.

$3.50 for water rip off! The grilled chicken sandwich was tasteless. The portabello panini was unremarkable. The 2 good thing here are the view on the deck- spectacular. And clean bathrooms!

Breakfast burrito's eggs were not cooked. It looked like he just cracked an egg and threw it in. Its fairly expensive for uncooked food, but the view is great. If you want to see some great scenery and don't mind Salmonella, then by all means this is the place for you.

This place sucked. Bought a couple burgers that were super dry, over cooked and not good at all. I got a blue cheese bacon burger that had NO blue cheese and had a few crumbles of bacon. The fries were ok though. Even my brother who isn't picky at all didn't like his french dip. He actually got sick later that evening on the way home to Phoenix. We got there at about 2pm and the breakfast buffet was still out with half dried on food that was sitting there since 10am. I thought that was pretty gross since there were flies all over the different dishes, fruit, and food that was left out. Finding a table was nearly impossible since they were all dirty. I don't think they had staff working yesterday. It took forever to get our food. Again, i should have Yelped before I went looking for food. If I had I would have seen the other reviews and avoided this place altogether. Another Yelper got it right by saying the food was like college cafeteria food.

We came up for the long weekend for a relaxing get away, we were starting to get hungry and decided on something light for lunch and find a nice sit down for our evening meal. The place has three different signs, so its like three different restaurants. You stand in line to order and as we stood in line we watched and the place looked very busy and they looked like they were behind on orders, so finally when we made it up to the counter I asked how long it would be and the cashier said about 10 to 15 minutes. So we decided to order. We ordered the standard 12" veggie pizza and two drinks and it was 23.34. A bit high.. We got our cups found a place to sit, and the poor employee was trying to clean up the biggest mess ever from the last customers... People are just so inconsiderate! They have a patio with a great view, but there was no place to sit so we sat just inside by the big windows. We were not to disappointed at not being able to sit outside as the weather was unusually warm. It was less then 10 minutes and our number was called and we were both surprised..and pleased. Our pizza had a very thin oven fired crust and it was very similar to a cracker, we really enjoyed the pizza, but felt it was too costly for what it was. I would go back for the pizza.

Advertised as gourmet ice cream, it was OK, when the containers were replaced it was Hagen Daz, which is good ice cream, but I wouldn't classify it as gourmet. I should have trusted yelp and went with black cow.

the bar has a great lookout and there is a very nice outside patio.

  • Kalie F.

i really enjoyed this place. the patio is AMAZING, while looking out to the red rocks. they have plenty of good beer on tap, while your waiting for your food you can shop next door, it is connected to earth bound trading Co. which is a neat store, or enjoy the patio. I really liked the food, and it was at a good price. I had an Italian wrap and it was large, and delic! my man had a burger of course, and he enjoyed the burger a lot. I would definitely come back. very chill nice environment, there are also local bands here occasionally.

Went Christmas day. Fortunately, Canyon breeze was open. Unfortunately, it was the only place open. Everyone was there and the cashier took our order no problem. We waited over an hour and we didn't get three burgers + a fajita plate. There were 3-4 cooks and only one manager/server person at a time. First it was a girl and she refused to talk to anyone who didn't have a buzzing buzzer (meaning their food was ready). Then the guy afterward seemed completely frazzled (poor guy) and uncomfortable. After over an hour, we finally got our DRY burgers and my dad got his "fajita plate". But the fajita plate (which cost $12) was a little cup of beans, some spanish rice and two small tortillas with scraps of meat inside. it was horrible....

This is a walk up to the counter tourist cafe sort of place with a great patio view of the buttes surrounding Sedona. The menu doesn't look too impressive but on my 2nd visit I tried the fish tacos and was surprised by how tasty they were! Seriously Canyon Breeze made some of the best tasting fish tacos I have had in my life on that day at least. I'd like to go back one of these days to try the fish tacos again. So I went back recently (January 2012) and had the fish tacos again. Just as great as the first time. There isn't a lot of fish in the tacos but it tastes amazing.

  • Raji M.

Overpriced, terrible food and pathetic service. The lady at the counter was rude and unhelpful. The food is ridiculously overpriced - $12 for a wrap, really! There are plenty of great options in Sedona. Skip this one.

  • DestinationFamilyVacation M.

Convenience was the positive. We needed something to eat that was fairly quick. This was no frills, cafeteria style that filled a need, quickness. We had the chicken, bacon Dijon panini, it was bland but filling and quick. We didn't sit at the tables, we boxed it and took it along with us, we can't comment on the inside dining area. The bathrooms were clean, but average.

  • Amber G.

My family and I had lunch here yesterday while passing through Sedona. I agree with other posts, while the food was tolerable it was nothing special. Reminded me also of college cafeteria food with a higher price tag (Restaurant was not busy yet they only had plastic forks, staff commented they "were all in use"). Staff was not helpful or friendly. My mom asked a simple menu question and Miss Snippy behind the counter acted as though questions were not allowed. We only ate here because we wanted simple and quick, would not go back!!

  • Marvin M.

Went there got a pizza it was cold. Cashier/server was awkward and rude. My son got wings they were ice cold. Clearly weren't fresh but were frozen wings not even fully cooked. Surprised this place stays in business in a well to do town like Sedona.

  • Kelly P.

Asked employee what was good on the menu....reply was...I don't eat here. Should have walked out. $35 for two cheeseburgers, fries and drinks. Paging Ronald McDonald!!! When we got our food it was quite good so I had to revamp my attitude a bit.

    (3)
  • Deb M.

The food is just OK and the patio views are spectacular. I'm not so sure these things make up for the crappy attitude employees. Signs on the tables request shout outs for good service. Lots of luck finding any of that. Especially surly was the dark haired guy that the cash register that took our order. Geez - if you don't like dealing with the public, get another job. The food was not inexpensive but probably what you would expect to pay in a resort area. Our group of 3 ordered the southwest chicken wrap, a chicken walnut salad and the hot dog. The first two items were ok, not terrible but not great either. The hot dog was quite large but the bun was VERY STALE (as in how long do you think this was sitting out?) and the fries were very cold and hard (as in cooked hours ago and put under a heat lamp). This is our first day here and it's safe to say we'll find somewhere else for lunch.

  • Sandhya M.

DONT EAT HERE This place is a tourist trap!!!! We went with a group of people and ordered some sandwiches and a taco salad. The salad had NO taste at all and no flavor. The sandwiches were ok but definitely not worth the price. We did try a smoothie form the juice shop. It was really good and they made it fresh. The smoothie is the only thing keeping me from giving his place one star.

    (2)
  • Jason Q.

This place only exists because it's a tourist spot, can't say anything here was good or worth coming here for. If it wasn't located on this street, they probably couldn't stay in business.

    (2)
  • Abdullah M.

Well the portobello sandwich game without the mushroom and the curly fries were warm. Otherwise they would have gotten a 5*. The chef apologized and remade the meal. The retake was great. A lady from Kansas stopped by our table, ask if we were on vacation and snap, she took a pic. They also have a juice/smoothie bar. Give them a try at least once. Peace.

    (3)
  • Madeline P.

I didn't get anything here to eat, but my girlfriend did. This place was PACKED! Thank goodness they have lots of seating! From what I noticed there wasn't many lines. The setting had a "food court" feel to it.. A place to rest, people watch, get out of the sun, wait for the rest of the group..

    (3)
  • Jason S.

I can understand the low ratings. This is some really low quality food for high prices. Standard fast food. However, they have a balcony/patio seating, and it has one of the best views in Sedona. Most visitors are on vacation, so paying to view things is normal. I just see the high prices more as paying for the nice views, rather than paying for the food. In that sense, the great views almost makes this place a mandatory visit in whilst in Sedona. Trees and buildings block your view nearly everywhere else, so finding a good view of the beautiful surroundings is actually rather difficult to do.

    (4)
  • Yee Gan O.

This place goes to prove that you can find good food in any setting and at any price point Canyon Breeze is found in a food court in Sedona town centre. A glance at the menu makes this place look like a diner/fast food joint The GF and I had just driven up from Phoenix and we were looking for a small lunch. I had never had a French dip sandwich and we settled on that It was an excellent sandwich. Toasted bread with a generous amount of thinly sliced roast beef topped with melted cheese. The combo tasted lovely on its own but a dip in the au jus took it to a new level in terms of flavour The side of fries were thin and crispy The food was a good 4 star experience but the view at the back of the restaurant was spectacular, they get bumped to 5 French dip sandwich

I was feeling a little under the weather and wanted something nutritious to give my body an immunity boost. So I came here and ordered a drink from their juice bar (not the restaurant). It was freshly juiced and tasted great with carrots, pineapple, and apples. I was advised that I would incur an extra $.0.35 cents for charging my drink (under $10) with my credit card. The total cost of my drink was $10.19. Expensive but I paid for quality ingredients and freshness. Service was good and relatively fast. It took about 10 minutes for my drink to be prepared after ordering.

Holy suck! I had my heart set on a milk shake all day. I understand that milk is a large ingredient of a milk shake but my $7.95 chocolate shake was essentially Chocolate milk with reddi whip on top. My daughter's was equally disappointing. Needless to say there are no boys in our yard.

  • Cliff A.

This restaurant is amazing! Tourist stuff to buy, a gorgeous bar and very open environment and the outdoor seating is fabulous! The views from the outside seating are amazing as they are nearly everywhere in this area. I split the nachos with my mom who I was with today. $12.99 and it filled us both up with those wonderful chips, shredded beef and all the fixins. They have misters outside spraying very fine mist during the day to cool things down and when the season gets cold, there are enough gas heaters out there to keep you plenty warm enough to enjoy the view year round.

I went to the icecream counter here... I asked "how many scoops can I get with a small?". The guy there replied, "one scoop is the smallest you can get". I laughed at how he didn't understand the question or his response. ...I am only writing a review because this is one of the horrible icecream joints that charges way way way too much and doesn't even have the curtsey to fill the cone with icecream!!! Just 1 scoop on top of an empty cone!! For over $5!!! Rip off!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised by the Southwestern Sandwich, and the Southwestern Wrap. Both were served hot and fresh. The Chicken had just the right amount of spice. The view was awesome. It took a little work to get a drink at the bar as the bartender was sitting at a table texting on his cell phone 3/9/2015 5:50pm. Otherwise very enjoyable. I would go again.

Under the Sedona sun and warmth. What a nice place to sit and people watch. Not to mention the dogs loved that they could do the same on the outside patio. The evening came in quickly and what a nice surprise to watch the sun set over the red rocks. The bar in the back displayed some nice Chilean wines. I ordered the Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon. The kids (my over 21-year old niece and her bff) ordered one of Sedona's locally-brewed beers and they loved it. For dinner we ordered pizza from the brick oven pizza spot. Very tasty. A 12-inch cheese pizza will run you $15 in Sedona. It was well worth it after a 6-mile canyon hike. Why only 4 stars ... just a sense of snobbery in the place. I requested a taste of the Chilean white wine. Bartender gave me a taste but as soon put down the tiny glass the bartender snatched it from me. I wanted to say, "I'm not drunk. I'm tired from a rigorous 6-mile hike." Oh well. Maybe next time I'll go wash up first and walk in fresh-faced.

We wanted something under $15 per person, so we picked this place...mostly because it has a beautiful terrace. The food was ok, nothing great but nothing horrid either. And the view was great. Food was "nice cafeteria" quality.

  • Cathy R.

Beautiful view but don't expected to pay posted prices or have clean glasses. If I could post pictures, I post a picture of the menu and our receipt. My $8 drink was $11 and advertised prices don't get honored. No money. Gross lipstick color on my friend's glass.

Terrible service. Attitude of employees is the worst I've seen. Everything is expensive for what it is. Food is okay if you don't mind waiting.

    (2)
  • Russell M.

Nothing exceptional here save perhaps the red rock views from the deck behind the bar overlooking Oak Creek. This is pretty typical trendy fare . . .hamburgers, salads, soups, wraps all with a southwest flair. Nothing is terrible but nothing I've had is off the charts great either. It's fun to sit at the bar and chat with JC a tad of an eccentric but friendly fellow. Great place to chill out for a cold one and catch up on the latest sporting event on the TV behind the bar.

    (3)
  • Desiree M.

The view is incredible and the Canyon breeze coffee café offers a variety of ice cream's and Starbucks coffee. The Texas quesadilla and the Vortex nachos supreme are excellent as well. Shop nearby to obtain a VIP 20% off card good for your purchase of food.

The view is beatiful, the restaurant is crowded most of the time. The margaritas are veeeery good so if you go there try a margarita made with prickly pear!!

  • garrett s.

Stopped in for some cold beer on tap. I sat at the bar which has a great view of red rocks of Sedona. Looks like they have a cafeteria style eatery with different outlets for food that I didn't get a chance to try. They do have outdoor seating with great views too. They seemed understaffed, but bartender was friendly, asked me if I needed anything before taking care of duties away from the bar which I appreciate. Stop in for a cold one, enjoy the views from the cooler inside bar. Looks like you could order food at the bar too.

Much better than expected. We ordered the chicken taco salad which was excellent. The view from the veranda was breathtaking.

  • Lynn B.

Stay away. This is a HORRIBLE value. If you are desperate and starving in Sedona, then drag yourself in here. If you have time to research and find something better, I encourage you to do that. Other than the margarita--which has to be ordered separately from the bar in the back, this place we EXCEPTIONALLY over-priced and well below mediocre. The margarita WAS good and was very large. It was a decent value. This is essentially a fast food restaurant with food served on real plates. You walk up, place your order, and go get your food when called. It's pretty much like Fuddruckers, i that respect. There is nothing stellar here. You'd expect a lot ore for the price you will pay. The value is VERY low. If you want fresh iced tea, you pick it up at another part of the restaurant/food court. It's a very strange setup. Now, for the food. The beans were flavorless mush. The enchiladas were greasy. The soda was very over-priced. It seemed like the machine needed to be calibrated, because the taste was really off. I was left disappointed and craving something satisfying. This is a tourist trap and nothing more.

    (2)
  • Jessica M.

It was quick, easy, and rather good food. I was initially turned off by the cafeteria style setting, however everything ended up being to my liking. Jonathan even brought our food out to our table since we amended how we wanted the sandwich made.

This place was beyond disappointing. We had just arrived in Sedona after enjoying absolutely devine New Mexican food in Albuquerque. We were really hungry and in uptown Sedona. We had our hearts set on Mexican. From the street it was not readily apparently that the "Canyon Cantina" is really just an over priced shop in the larger "Canyon Breeze" food court. I was so hungry that we just ordered but when they told me that our two dishes with iced tea were $30+, I almost fell over with shock. We ate at amazing restaurants in Next Mexico and without alcohol, that's what our meals costs. They did make this stuff fresh, but you basically go up to a counter like you'd do in McDonald's to place the order for your food ... it was so not a $30 experience! As another yelper stated, it's basically a tourist trap. Make sure if you are in Sedona you check and trust the reviews of your fellow yelpers before parting with your hard earned money. And maybe bring along some trail mix so you never feel so desperate as to fall for this trap. On the plus side, the Margarita (which had to be purchased separately at the bar in the back) was pretty good and the glass was practically a small fish bowl.

It was my first time to Sedona with a friend of mine and after hiking we wanted to sit down somewhere with an adult beverage. We were walking around the little downtown area when we saw "Canyon Cantina" so we decided to check it out. We walked to the back where there's a small bar area and went up to the counter. The bartender was having a conversation with a woman sitting there and couldn't be bothered to greet us or help us. We looked over the menu while he went to help a couple who walked up AFTER we did. While making their drinks he asks if we know what we wanted. My friend asked what flavored vodkas they had and rather than replying like an adult, he points behind him to the shelf that has the vodkas, the majority of which you can't see the labels on. So we started being more specific, asking specifically which flavor different bottles were. We finally decide on what we wanted and go ahead and order. He gives us a total for BOTH of our drinks, never once asking if they were together or not. So I asked if he could split it since we were paying separate and I didn't have cash. He said he couldn't because he had already "pressed send." I think he must have taken heed of my death look at this point because he checked again and said "Oh wait, no I didn't press send yet." So he gives us our separate totals. When I go to hand him my card he goes, "Oh no you're paying card? I have to charge you a .35 few because it's under $10." I was so mad about the whole interaction at this point I really didn't care and just wanted my drink. I honestly think this was one of the worse experiences I've had because we were just shown a complete and utter lack of any service at all.

Excellent spot for a drink with a view, not such a great place for food. Just no quality selection.

  • Sharona R.

Beautiful view in Uptown Sedona. You pay for the view.....really. Food is close to fast food in the sense you order first and wait for your order to pick it up. Food is okay...nothing extraordinary, but a bit overpriced. What do you expect though? It is in Uptown Sedona smack in the middle of town taking up the nicest spot for people to wander by and to pick up a quick bite. I've been here twice on two different occasions....again food is okay, convenient and you pay for the view while eating...if you get the patio.

  • Bo D.

Their food is so much better than their service. The staff treated me like I was from another planet. I had forgotten to place my order as to-go. And when I mentioned it after I paid the cashier, he seemed like he was frustrated with me. Otherwise, the food was excellent and it comes in large portions, but I still think it's too overpriced.

Went here yesterday w/husb and daughters. Will never go back! Coleslaw was disgusting. It clearly was old and spoiled just by looking at it. Grilled chicken sandwich was dry, barely warm, no seasoning and since it took about 12 minutes to get our food, it was prob precooked, cooked again and sitting under a warmer. Frys tasted stale. Soda was ridiculously expensive so we drank water, which is fine. The mgr pleasantly refunded our $ and apologized. I live here and it's really unbelievable how many restaurants we have serving awful food and charging a lot of $ for it. Sedona is a huge tourist destination and people from all over the world come here to visit. Better step up your game restaurant owner!

We paid over fifty bucks for the following to go... Nachos-- almost 15 bucks and when we got home the "to go" styrofoam container was only half full. Fish and Chips-- hardly any fish, mostly breading. They didn't have malt vinegar and the woman at the counter offered me ketchup for my fries but didn't offer me any tartar sauce. I got back to my hotel and no tartar sauce. How can you serve fish and chips without tartar sauce? Inedible so it went straight to the trash. 12 inch pizza-- bland and tasteless. kid's grilled sandwich-- didn't taste it but my daughter ate half a portion of half a sandwich. Speaks for itself. We should have just gone to McDonald's.

Those who gave bad reviews have never eaten here or they are confusing it with another place. This is the best traditional American bar and grill place in Sedona. Of you are hungry for a grilled sandwich or a burger this place is great. My entire family loved the dishes we ordered and they gave us fries and/or cole slaw with it. The place is packed and has TV with sports, an open bar and a beautiful eating area. The waiters were friendly and changed my side dish when I wanted it. All in all highly recommended: Five Stars!

FOR SABRINA'S ICE CREAM which is part of Canyon Breeze Restaurant. The line is on the left of the entrance for the ice cream. The restaurant is on the right, just an FYI. Yes it is steep, $5 for a scoop of ice cream in a waffle cone, but the ice cream is smooth and rich. And a scoop is really large as is the waffle cones. I did not have a problem finishing it however because it was that good. The rocky road was good, nice amount of nuts. I like small marshmallows instead of the marshmallow swirled into the ice cream, but I can live with it :) So yes the marshmallow was swirled into my rocky road, but I did not ding the excellent ice cream for it. I also sampled the cinnamon ice cream and was surprised it was good. Not expecting such a great taste to the title. All in all great ice cream and on a beautiful day in Sedona the treat is hard to pass by.

I was a tourist and I was indeed trapped. I wish I checked the reviews before coming here. Holy shit. I just spent $30 on a mediocre chicken wrap, fries, and two flat sodas. HOW DID THIS HAPPEN? There are several "restaurants" but you really just order from the same counter (save for the coffee and ice cream). You are given a pager and have the choice of three large seating areas (outside back, inside middle, and outside front). I suggest heading straight for the back to sit outside because there is a gorgeous view which is a great "Look at me! I'm in Sedona" picture spot. The southwest chicken wrap was on the dry side, but at least the fries were good. Soda was flat and several items on the soda dispenser were unavailable. Seriously, the only redeeming quality was the view and that it was convenient. In hindsight, I wish I just found a fast food place.

The view from the patio is absolutely stunning, but the food is SO overpriced. We went there once because we were starving and ordered two hamburgers and it was over 30 dollars...so ridiculous! I would steer clear of this place and search for a local, hidden gem type place.

Excellent! My wife and I so enjoyed our meal during a vacation stay in Sedona... I very much recommend Picazzo's with a five star rating. I strongly encourage you to go and try it out :-) Real deal organic with excellent taste. We were thoroughly impressed and the price is affordable. Great quality food!!

The Canyon Breeze breakfast buffet was included in our hotel rate from the Orchards Inn so we took advantage. I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of food available in the breakfast buffet. They had eggs with peppers, breakfast burritos, hot oatmeal, cold cereal, roasted potatoes, bagels, muffins, etc. They also had fresh orange juice, milk, and Starbucks coffee and tea. A great start to a day of shopping and exploring. I don't know if I would seek this restaurant out if it wasn't included but I was glad to have an all you can ask for breakfast with fresh ingredients and plenty of options.

I really liked this restaurant! The food was really good except for the french fries. Eating on the back patio was nice and provided a great view. I will have to agree with everyone else though that the prices are a bit high. You can find a coupon for 10% at many of the stores along the same street. This restaurant is very good at marketing! I had a tasty turkey panini, chips and a soda. With my coupon (10% off), my bill was still $14.xx. A soda is over $3! At this restaurant, you order your food and then pick it up in the window a few minutes later. There is not a wait staff, though they will clear your tables for you once you are through. My friend ordered the veggie burger and french fries. The veggie burger was very good. The fries were bland. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food was very good but a bit overpriced for order at the counter sandwiches!

Great view at the bar with refreshing drinks! The bartender was a total dick and didn't seem to keen on giving suggestions for places to eat in sedona.

  • Lindsey Z.

The drinks were extremely pricey! I guess you are paying for the "view". Which is beautiful by the way, but would have been more enjoyable if they didn't have their kitchen grill exhaust belching out over your head as you're sitting on their outside patio. The blower was VERY noisey, and all you can smell as you are sitting out there is grilled meat & onions. Didn't exactly go well with my vodka martini. As others have said, the bartender seems like he does not want to be bothered, either. Perhaps it is time for a career change? Save your money, and go elsewhere.

Lovely patio with the red rock views. Good food and drinks! Nice veggie options too like French fries, portobello sandwich and pizza. The superb part is Starbucks inside this restaurant too!

great view from the patio, took FOREVER to get our sandwiches. I would recommend going someplace else if you are on a schedule. a little pricey for comfort food.

I came here after reading the reviews, I didn't know what to expect. This place exceeded my expectations. I paid $30.00 for 2 burgers/ 2 drinks. At first I was wow!! But after seeing the gourmet burgers and eating them, it was worth it. The sitting on the patio topped it off so I would recommend it.

Average "high volume" super touristy dining spot. My wife and I only ate a quick breakfast there because the hotel we stayed at offered free meals. We both got the chorizo burritos and liked it. Coffee was lukewarm, and OJ was watered down. There's an ice cream spot inside and they also serve Starbucks (limited menu). Prices are okay - like $9 for the breakfast items and the portions were nice. There are tables on the patio overlooking the main 89A drag- so good for people watching.

If you had a choice between dying from hunger or eating here, choose the former. At least you'll die without being disappointed at how awful this place is.

Frankly, most all the food in Sedona is lousy and overpriced! If you stay at the Orchards, the breakfast buffet is complementary...such a deal! Good coffee, good choices, fresh fruit, cereal, eggs, sausage, waffles and amazing views! Sedona is not the town for foodies, but relax, enjoy a drink, coffee or ice cream and soak up the clean air and amazing views! And the service is great! Where do they find all these bright and friendly teenagers? Must have something to do with the Vortexes!

Great bacon cheeseburger. And they have a great worker in Joshua!

$16.58 for a chicken sandwich, fries, and a Pepsi. Only went because Sedona Memories was closed! Next time, I'll bring my lunch.

The food is really pathetic for the price they charge. I should have driven to another business for my breakfast. I actually got loose motions eating there food. The "toast" was toasted with used oil/butter and I could smell it. For scrambled eggs, you get a measley 1 or 2 eggs scrambled. The starbucks counter is ok ok. I dont think the price does any justice to their food which is extremely bad. The wait staff is rude and does not appreciate or greet their customers appropriately. Please avoid this place at all costs.

As I've now been to Sedona twice, I feel like I have a little more insight on the downtown scene. Basically any place on the drag will have: 1--amazing view 2-average food 3-overpriced It is what it is. We got a free breaky buffet from staying at the orchards inn. The diy waffles were the best. Reminded me of the good old college cafeteria days! STELLAR VIEWS! Get a drink here but eat elsewhere.

Stay away from this place. It is not worth your money. Food and service is crappy. People taking orders have no personality and does not seem to be very happy with their job.

L and I were starving this afternoon and when this place came up on my Yelp app, I was a little apprehensive, but we gave it a shot. As others have mentioned, it's a little cafeteria-like. You read the menu up front and place your order, get a buzzer, take a seat, and wait for your order to come up. But when I was waiting to order I saw the plates that they were serving up and they looked good so I was all good. I was torn between the Sonoran Dog and the BBQ Bacon burger, but I went with the burger and we shared the nachos. It took a little while for us to get our food (must be made fresh, right?) and dug in. The fries were delish and the burger wasn't anything extraordinary, but for the size and price, my meal was just right. The nachos were also very good (a lot better I'd have to say than the Barking Frog's and for a little bit cheaper). We ordered a few drinks from the bar, and the view from the patio is AMAZING. If you're in the mood for a cheap(er) meal in Sedona to just get the job done, I would def recommend this place. Oh! And check out the store that's located inside/connected. It has a ton of neat stuff.

Great view, overpriced food. Below average food. Customer service is below average. The tray I given was soaking wet. I Ordered the taco platter, the tacos were good, but the Mexican rice was crunchy like corn flakes. The refried beans were bland. I did not like my lunch. I received better service at a MacDonald's. Avoid this place. This place might be OK if you are simply ordering drinks, but I would never buy food here again.

When you're tired if throwing Benjamin's down for every meal in Sedona you can give your wallet a break and thrown down a Jackson for dinner for two. Yea it's bland, it's sort of boring, it's cafeteria like, but hey, I was relieved to not only hand the cashier a $20 bill but was actually given change back! What's cool is there is three what I can describe as stations. One handles ice cream, one handles food, and one handles coffee drinks. In the back there's an actual full bar which had zero patrons at it which was surprising. I had the cheese pizza and Donna had the cheeseburger. This isn't a culinary experience, it's just fuel but affordable fuel which is important when spending many days in Sedona! Isn't bad tasting, just doesn't taste like much at all! I'll probably be back again this week :-D

we had a great time here sitting outside looking at the view. drinks were great and the food good also. many thanks to javier for the great service. when you come here walk back to see him at the bar.

Go for desert, drinks, and the back patio view - but find your meal elsewhere. The view was great on the patio, the kids loved the ice cream and I enjoyed a beer after a day at slide rock. That said the food was terrible. The kids would not eat the cheese pizza and the portabello pannini seemed to be from a pre-made frozen package. Prices are at a premium for the type of food, based on the location that was understood.

Overpriced cafeteria, tourist trap of Sedona!

Lunch place with a variety to choose from. Feels quite generic. There's an ice cream bar next to the main order counters, and a full bar in the very inside of the restaurant. It's very much just like a canteen or cafeteria. You order, they buzz you when it's ready, you go up to the counter to grab your tray of food. My green chile burger was ok. The patty was dry (they don't even ask about the doneness of the burger), the condiments so-so. The coleslaw that came with it was generic average stuff not unlike the KFC coleslaw. Most entrées have a set price of $9.95 except for the hot dogs or something, and at that price tag I can grab tastier things. There are more places to eat from in Sedona. Some reviews mentioned the view...the whole damn town has a view. Unless you have a good reason to eat right then and all the other nearby restaurants have a long wait, I don't see a reason to come here at all.

My husband and I had a lovely lunch here on 05/03/14. Lots of yummy choices and the view of the red rocks was stunning. Unfortunately the table at the window was reserved, but the host was most accommodating and got us a table just next to it. I had the grilled cheese and fries - excellent; my husband had a burger and fries - also excellent. A definite re-visit restaurant. I have also posted this review on TripAdvisor..

We just had the ice cream here and it was soooooo good. The chocolate tasted awesome. Not very sweet. Definitely would come here again the next time we are in Sedona!

I was wondering where my first "2" stars would go & the winner is.... Yep. Product - here, ice cream was my quest and it was "average" at best but at an "expensive" price point - $4.37 for a single scoop on a regular cone. (So maybe that's where I got grumpy about this scene.) Service - take it or leave it Scene - boooo (as in 1) - at least on a weekend night after coming off a sunset hike. This place is a combo ice cream/ Starbucks coffee bar, cafeteria-like ordering area, DJ / dance floor with overly loud music & what looks to be a full service bar in back. At 9 pm, there was a lot happenin' over there in the back. Maybe the view looks different from over there. But, from where I'm sittin'.... If you want to have a cup of coffee and a sandwich, overpay for a chocolate chip chaser while jammin' to Sweet Home Alabama, this is the place. Don't forget the shot of tequila and to tip your bartender.

Best deck for excellent Sedona views. Sabrina's has great ice cream and the bar has a great vantage point too. Good place to unwind and take a break from all the gallery browsing and kitschy shops.

We ate here on our trip to Sedona. The food is just ok. We had breakfast here and lunch the following day. Not sure if anyone has ever stayed at a Hampton Inn but the breakfast buffet is similar. You can make your own waffles and poor your own cereal but not much too it. The lunch was no different. I had a turkey wrap with one of those spinach tortillas. Looks like Costco lunch but made fresh. What would totally make me come back to this place is the view in the back. Hard to miss the totally amazing views and scenery anywhere in Sedona but this place had a huge balcony with 10-15 tables on it overlooking a mountain that was worth going back. The coffee is wonderful as well. The combination of good coffee and amazing view is enough for me to go back and recommend this place.

College cafeteria food. Had a wrap for lunch the first day which was overpriced and dripping in oil. The free breakfast was decent only because it was free. The waffle maker was a plus. The staff is terrible and they all seem to hate being there, and hate each other. I was also given wet plates/utensils/tray not once, but on two seperate occassions! Tourist trap for sure!

WARNING!!! The bartender tried to scam us when she dropped our change/money between the bar and ice machine and claimed it was our fault while she was giving us our change. We told her to get it out of the register or get a broom. She was reluctant, went into the back and came out with a broom that had duct tape (sticky side out) on the end of it... Obviously, she attempts to scam people by dropping bills and then collects them after her shift with this broom on a regular basis. On a positive note, the view was awesome and beer was ice cold.

Our experience here (wife and I in our mid-60's, son and his wife early 40's and grand-daughters 9 and 11) was very pleasant. We were having a great day after a fabulous jeep tour on Soldier's Pass, plus the view is to die for, so maybe my usual picky standards were not fully engaged, but we had food that was quite acceptable (all sorts of different things for different members of our party), excellent ice cream sundaes at the ice-cream place, and overall a perfectly fine tourist-type experience. It probably gets a lot more crowded in mid-summer and might be less good then. It in no way deserves one star except for "value" as it is on the pricey side for such a place, but things have to be trucked in I'm sure. Just be sure to sit outside overlooking the heavenly view and you should be reasonably happy.

  • Jae K.

Do not order coffee here! Or even get food--the buffet looked like a joke and after my coffee experience I wasn't going to even bother. Don't be fooled by the Starbucks logo on the front. This is not a Starbucks, just high school kids trying to figure out how to make coffee. My iced "coffee" consisted of an 1/8 cup of coffee, a bag of ice and the rest milk. Go across the street to Spiritstone coffee. They know what they're doing.

Food way overpriced. $17.90 for 2 house salads; more than the pizza. I thought Z Pizza was the worst pizza I have had. I was wrong. 1 star because I have to rate it!

The only thing good about it is the seating. The chicken and beef tacos were dry. Shells were stale and there was no salsa. Tacos with out salsa????

I liked the Tuscan Tuna Salad I had last night (Father's Day). Yes, the view is generic to Sedona, but I found the service at the counter excellent and the men I observed preparing the food all wore gloves and were attentive to their tasks. It's a large bay-type restaurant, so the cafeteria ambiance is there, but basically, I liked the food I had..

This place is stupid. Overpriced, lame food. Very cafeteria-ish. Workers were a million miles away mentally - reminded me of getting food at Jobing.com arena. I think the only prerequsites to work here are a pulse and the ability to mumble very quickly. The only redeeming quality of this place in my opinion, is the beautiful view through the window behind the bar or from the outside deck. We didn't try any of the coffee or ice cream. Lots of people were eating ice cream, which did look good.

We stopped here after a long day in the canyon just looking for a cheap, fast meal before heading out. I ordered two pizzas and they were $35 so cheap went out the door. The pepperoni pizza was OK and the pizza with chicken and jalapenos was actually pretty good. Both of our meals in Sedona were pricey and forgettable.

Absolutely horrible. I came here twice and both times were a disappointment! Had the chorizo burrito and it was ok. Don't let the Starbucks sign fool you. Pastries were stale and coffee was horrible. Came here just because hotel offered complimentary breakfast, but that wasn't until we found out that we don't get the deal if we booked it through expedia. Bottom line... don't come here. Just about everything sucked! If I could I would give this place a -2 I most definitely would.

The sign outside reads Sabrina's Ice Cream, but apparently the ice cream counter is just part of this larger establishment. Actually, the ice cream station shares the same counter as the Starbucks coffee station. We knew we were in trouble right from the start. The guy working there was sloppy and had an attitude which screamed "I don't give a damn." There were four in our group. We ordered three ice creams and two coffees. When the sloppy bad attitude guy carelessly thrust my ice cream cone at me, the ice cream flew off the cone and landed on my shirt. Did he apologize? Did he even notice? Nope. He then proceeded to get both coffee orders wrong. Both. Which was no surprise. I'd have bet the mortgage he wouldn't get them right.. It was clear from his manner that he wasn't interested in doing his job well. Next, he overcharged us. Again, no surprise. I checked the receipt fully expecting to find an error. He charged us for an extra ice cream. By the way, a single scoop is overpriced at four dollars. Sure, this is Sedona, so you can expect inflated prices, but there was nothing about this particular place which could justify the mark-up. The cinnamon ice cream was good. Too bad I did not get the full scoop I overpaid for. (The sloppy bad attitude guy did not offer to replenish what he spilled on me.) The other two flavors were disappointing. As for the coffees, he flatly denied he got them wrong and refused to redo them! When I approached the jerk (in this case, I can use two meanings of that word) about being overcharged, he sent me to the cafeteria style counter of the restaurant for them to fix his mistake. He couldn't be bothered. There must be another ice cream shop in Sedona. Do yourself a favor and find it.

$11 for 2 coronas?! It's like a big cafeteria. You walk up to counter - order - wait 10 minutes until your food is called over the loud speaker and then you pick it up. Not great food but edible. If you are looking for more a a foodie place, go else where. I saw lots of families which is probably what this place is best for. Large, open... kinda loud. Bar is small but has a great view. The outside patio has a fantastic view if you can sit through the pouring rain from the misters on the patio. I could see going back for ice cream and the view only.

2 words tourist trap, lousy service, and it survives because of it's location. ....keep walking nothing to see here.

As others have said, the view on the deck is great. The bartender helped other customers that came up to the bar after me which irritated me and was pretty unfriendly. Didn't have the food, but I think we could have found an equally attractive view with far less attitude.

This place came recommended by a local visitor booth person. They obviously were looking for a kick-back! The food was overpriced, cafeteria quality, with very small quantities (probably best!). The taco salad and the philly cheese were horrible, but the burgers were ok.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
