I've been here twice, and both times I've been pleasantly surprised it's not just for the quality of the food, but with the quality of the clientele and staff. It seems that this is the restaurant where a lot of the locals go to relax and talk amongst themselves. So if you are able to go here, you will find yourselves entrenched in an interesting discussion that can run the gamut of whatever's happened the day. Prices are nice, and portions are large. Give this little restaurant a try, you will not be disappointed...

The day manager is a thief. I watched through the planted divider as he lifted a $10 bill from the bill tray where I had left my ticket for vegetarian burro (so-so) with chips and salsa with the aforementioned $10 bill and three singles so I could use the facilities while the waitress (competent) worked the dining room alone. Exiting the restroom area she showed me my ticket and three singles when I had paid in full. Even if the kitchen had been over the top great - it wasn't - I'll never go back. Cheating your staff is really really tack. Former wait person and commuter between San Diego and Winslow.
