Very cute place! Great ambience, and we loved all the interesting owl art. It's small and intimate, and staff was helpful and attentive. We had the bacon breakfast burrito, and it was delicious (although pretty egg-heavy), and huge -- my boyfriend and I split it and were perfectly satisfied. The only reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is that the espresso machine was broken. Not a huge deal for me, but if you came expecting a latte or something you might be disappointed.

What a wonderful place. Customer service was outstanding. The scrambled egg plate was more than enough food. The European pastries were scrumptious too!

This place is a gem! We found this place while in Flagstaff for the weekend. It's a small quaint cafe that is decorated in all owl everything, which I obsessed with. The menu is small put is packed w delicious dishes. My kids got the fruit salad w the cinnamon roll and hot chocolate, they lived it. My husband got the fried egg sandwich and he inhaled it and said it was perfect. I got the home style something (sorry don't remember the name ) and it had kale, fried egg, caramelized purple onions w goat cheese all melted into this fried egg sandwich amazingness. There are bottomless mimosas & bloody Mary's!!! Enuff said. The atmosphere there is rad, very laid back eclectic feel. My kinda place

It's small inside but has character. The server was nice and the water has a nice lemon taste to it. If I go back it will be for the bottomless bloody Mary's! Prices aren't bad

Originally we didn't plan on going to the Toasted Owl because they have a very tiny brunch menu. However, when we arrived, we discovered their daily specials are amazing! Eggs florentine or over-easy on parmasean pesto grilled tomatoes? Awesome! Not only that, but they served us brunch on a Saturday later than anyone else in town. (2:30 or 3pm)! Excellent coffee, great service, cute atmosphere, and lots of lovely owls.

This was one of my favorite places on my recent trip to Arizona. What a cute little cafe! My only regret is that we didn't have the bottomless mimosas I'm reading so much about. They have lots of yummy offerings, and vegetarian options as well! My sis and I shared a salad with Israeli couscous, craisins, and other delicious toppings, along with a veggie burrito. The burrito was interesting and flavorful. My mom enjoyed her soup as well. It's a pretty small cafe, but luckily we were able to find a table since we came at a later time after the typical lunch rush. Without knowing what it's like at 12, I would just say to be prepared just in case it's crowded!

This is a cute funky cafe tucked away in downtown Flagstaff. Thanks to Yelp, my sister and I found this after a long hike in Flag. Location: Downtown Flagstaff. The parking is wherever you can find. We found street parking about a block away. Food: The menu provides interesting items, and they were still serving breakfast at 1pm ish when we went. There was a carrot ginger soup that my mom ordered. She enjoyed this and said the taste was interesting. My sister and I shared the veggie black bean burrito and one of the salads. The burrito was fresh and delicious; it included black beans, veggies, and some salsa and guac. The salad was interesting with couscous, dried berries, and delicious dressing. I ordered a lemon bar to go - wow! Lemony goodness! Service: The one downfall - this place is slow! Perhaps this is a good thing, cooking each meal to perfection. Our server was extremely nice and helpful. Ambiance: The place is tiny, so there aren't many seats. We got lucky at an off time. They had some music I didn't recognize playing (which is a good thing), and it was pleasing. The decor includes owls, but what is fun is all the plates, cups are mismatched and unique, like thrift store finds. Cost: Super reasonable.

After my last visit, I'm happy to see the food is still great. This time I had a hot pressed sandwich. It was very satisfying. So much so that I could not finish my salad! Interior is cleaner and more comfortable than the last time I was still here. It still looks like your great aunt decorated it - you know the one - she spray paints a mayonnaise jar when she needs a new vase, makes too much jello, and keeps her leftovers in empty margarine tubs. Yeah, she decorated the place. It's not offensive or distracting - just very... unique.

Do not come here for a quick bite. The service is the slowest and the waitress isn't rude but is pretty unprofessional. The cucumber water was a nice surprise and the veggie burrito was pretty solid.

I am from New Jersey and my friend moved and lives in Flagstaff. Her birthday was coming up and I was looking to order her some of her favorite foods and have it delivered to her at Northern Arizona University. I did a lot of research of the local places but Toasted Owl offered everything I wanted and delivered so I gave them a call. Dean, one of the employees, picked up and was super helpful. Even though they were not open at the time he answered the phone and all of my questions. He was even was nice enough to share his cell phone number so I could coordinate with him the specifics of the delivery (I live in a different time zone so it was very helpful). I ordered the breakfast platter with scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast. My friend likes her bacon very crispy and it was made to order. Dean also shared that they would bake something special for me if I wanted. They made her chocolate and peanut butter cupcakes and delivered then to my friend! I ordered six cupcakes for $10 (he said they were 3 for $5). My friend received the food on time and with a very very friendly delivery driver who helped me surprise her and wish her a happy birthday. I was very satisfied with my pleasant and speedy service. My friend also really enjoyed the food. I am very happy with Toasted Owl and would totally eat here myself if I were to visit Flagstaff. Thank you to the baker that picked up my call at 6am and Dean who picked up my call after hours and the delivery person for his patience and flexibility in working with me!

I was so blown away by this place when I first came here... but things really seem to have gone downhill. Service is wicked slow, food takes ages to come out, much slower when compared to before. I don't mind waiting for some really good food but I had the quiche today and it was really not good. I've had it before and the last time I had it prior to my latest visit it was beautifully seasoned, with big chunks of veggies and goat cheese in it. This time, it just tasted like a big egg pancake with no cheese or seasoning in it... what the heck? I couldn't even finish it which disappointed me because of how great this place used to be. Service is pretty all over the place. Servers who look like they just rolled out of bed waving dishes around because they have no idea which table ordered what. I don't expect the most professional servers at a place like this, but come on. Their rotating specials add a ton of variety and their bottomless bloody Mary's and mimosas are a great deal and I really don't want to give up on this place, but the food I was served today was seriously gross.

Open since September 2013, this cute little locally owned cafe was exactly what we were looking for after a little hike during a recent visit to Flag... I looked it up on Yelp, my husband agreed to try it out, and we walked in less than 30 minutes later... We received a warm welcome from Patrick, who was the host and server, and despite there being no other customers during that time, the place still had a good energy inside. The menu isn't huge, so it wasn't too difficult to decide what to order. Both of us went with burritos based on Patrick's rec. He didn't steer us wrong either; both were delicious. (I had the veggie burrito with egg whites and my husband had the chorizo burrito). Both were served with a few slices of fresh plum... the perfect little sweetness to go with our savory meals. I stayed to do some work after our meal and Patrick continued to refill my water... he also let me use his phone charger. There was some construction being done nearby while we were there, but I blocked it out... hopefully that ends soon and in the meantime doesn't get too distracting for other customers. I'd happily return to Toasted Owl in the future to eat, drink, work or just hang and chat... and I'd definitely recommend the breakfast burritos... nothing fancy, but made just right. I think you'll agree - it's a wise choice!

This place is super cute. Filled with everything owl. Definitely local. I saw Gabi M's review and decided to check this place out. We read the menu outside and my son saw the chicken quesadilla and since he's on a chicken quesadilla kick, he was happy to eat there. When we entered, he started to order the chicken quesadilla only to be told since it was Saturday, they were serving the brunch menu, not the regular menu. Luckily, this place is locally owned and with a heart cause when she saw how disappointed my son was, she went back to the kitchen then came back and told us a chicken quesadilla would indeed be made for our son! Both my husband and I ordered their brunch specials- see photos for $12. Soooo delicious and soooo healthy!!! The presentation def was like a friend cooking in her kitchen making food for you. Some people might complain that it's not consistent or "professional" looking. I loved it. Including some of the uneven cooking. It felt like I came over to a friend's house and was eating at her kitchen. The best part was perhaps the bottomless make your own Bloody Mary, mimosa, and Bellini bar for $5 more. OMG, this seems like a college student's wet dream!!! Haha. Since I am no longer a college student, my eyes bulged at the amount of vodka she poured into my very tall glass and I managed to nurse it into Bloody Mary's with plenty of tummy yummy fixing of grilled artichoke hearts, asparagus, olives, celery, and carrot sticks. If I was a vegetarian, this might be enough to make a plenty delicious meal for me! By the way, I am not a vegetarian and I usu don't consider anything a meal if it doesn't have meat in it yet I loved every bite of my vegetarian special! The place is a bit hippie and to me, it's part of the charm of the place. I suppose of we were in a rush it might get frustrating but we weren't so we had a fabulous time and next time we are in Flagstaff, we will def come here again!

SLOW service, potatoes were over cooked, didn't remember my substitution, and never checked for coffee refills. BUT, they are nice and friendly. Don't come here if in a hurry.

This is cute setup, very clean looking, with funky but cool seating. The little hippies that work here are all very nice, if a little confused, but hey, we came in on a Sunday. We showed up and got the Sunday brunch special, which includes mimosas and a bloody mary bar. Nice greeting, everybody friendly and nice. Sadly, the food sucked, and ultimately made me sick. I don't know why I forgot this simple rule: Never ever eat any kind of egg cake. I have a cast iron stomach, and the only two times I can guarantee that I had food poisoning were both from similar dishes. The country/rustic egg loaf thing that I ordered had a nice flavor, but maybe it was the second bloody mary that kept the warning bells silent. Stupid bloody marys. Anyway, the thing comes out on a strange for breakfast but nicely done little salad, and it's kind of crusty on the edge from where it was sliced from the last portion, and it's not really all that hot. That should be enough right there, but I ate it. Fast forward several hours later, and instead of getting psyched up for my hike to phantom ranch, I'm sitting on the toilet hoping to keep the issues isolated to only one end of my digestive track. The missus got the cinnamon french toast brunch, and for something that sounds so awesome, the execution was sad. Some kind of Pillsbury cinnamon roll turned into rock hard french toast. Bummer. She sent it back and got a passable burrito. I think this place has a lot of potential, and maybe the regular offerings rate the reviews others gave it, but not the Sunday brunch.

Wow! crispy toasted grilled brie and prosciutto sandwich with fig jam and spinach! Best taste combo ever. I also had their homemade soup of brown rice and zucchini. Best gourmet comfort food! But the best part is when the adorable vintage dressed girl behind the counter asked if my husband and I would like to take it as a picnic. So this is where the dreamy part began. They fixed our lunch on china dishes with a blanket snuggled in a wicker tray and lead us just outside to the grassy lawn in front of the court house. Foliage was at it's peak, the sun was shining, and my husband and I got to feel like we were on a mini vacation in downtown Flagstaff on our lunch break. The only thing I thought they could improve on was a better picnic blanket. I can't wait to go back until we have tried everything on the menu :)

The Toasted Owl is a local gem. Bottomless mimosas, delicious pastries, and the breakfast fruit plate dusted with powdered sugar just makes me smile. Everything is yummy and us locals love this business. I can't wait to see the new location off Phoenix and across the street from Mother Road.

My little brother and I treated ourselves to owl brunch this past sunday while he was in town visiting me. OUr server Pat was very accommodating and helped us make our selections. He seated us, brought us coffee, water and mimosas. Not too much later the adorable blonde kitchen girl brought us our meal. We had said we planned on splitting two items (monte christo but without meat and a veggie breakfast burrito)) but when they were brought out to us each had been split and half and plated for us already. I didnt ask for that specifically so I thought it was really nice and certainly made it easier on my brother and i. The food was fantastic and so filling we had to take the burrito to go.

I never write yelp reviews, but this place was so awesome I felt like it wouldn't be right not to write one. We are on tour and are always looking for unique spots to get coffee and food. We yelped the toasted owl and the bus driver and myself decided to try it out. It turned out to be amazing I got the turkey sand which and he got a breakfast burrito. Everyone in the restaurant was super friendly. Also on top of that they were playing excellent music, Fiona Apple, St. Vincent, etc. which always puts a restaurant over the top for me. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an awesome local place to eat and get coffee. I will definitely be going back the next time I'm in town!

Lots of seating, friendly and relaxed environment, decent prices. All the main items seem to be between 6 to 8 dollars. Super fresh ingredients in the sandwich I ordered (Prosciutto and Brie) and it was huge!

Since my my first review, this place has gotten slower and slower. Numerous times my coworkers and I have ordered from here for breakfast delivery at our office a block away. It usually takes them an hour to deliver items such as bagels and muffins that are already cooked. They don't bring change with them even though we request that they do. Once they even refused to come back with change when they forgot. My coworker had to wait until the next time she ordered before she was given her change. Today they ordered from them again and the order was incorrect. My coworker settled for what she had rather than having to wait another 45 minutes for the correct bagel. By that time, it would be lunch time already anyways. They're prices keep going up while the customer service goes down. I stopped ordering from them months ago. I miss the previous deli that used to be in that location. They had great service, quick delivery and reasonable prices.

one word, WOW! If you ever find yourself strolling along historic route 66 looking for a cute and quant cafe this is THE place. Beautiful cozy environment wonderful food prepared by the beautiful Kelly and a fun environment. You can tell the second you enter their cafe that it is a close knit staff and a true local independent cafe. Would recommend to anyone in the remote area. Definitely will be a repeat costumer. Cheers!

Refused service because it was "after hours" at 3pm, although their hours are listed as open until 4pm. The people that worked there are distasteful and often rude. Really expensive.

I was first impressed right when I walked in.. the place is so adorable and unique! I ordered the french toast, which came with Nutella and caramelized bananas! It was to die for. My friends ordered some breakfast tacos and those looked just as good. Overall, amazing food and experience. The service lacked in the beginning, but totally picked up. We'll be back for sure!

We decided to have brunch on our way back from our trip to the Grand Canyon, and found this popular spot. It's quirky, inside the lobby of a commercial building, full of hanging flower-pots and menus written on chalk-boards. Although they were out of pastries when we went, what they did have was spot-on - a healthy turkey sandwich on multigrain bread, a soy chiorzo breakfast burrito - spicy but very delicious. All reasonably priced. A popular spot that filled us up without leaving us stuffed. Try it out!

Fresh and deliciously made food! They don't have an extensive menu, but what they do have is delicious and well-made. I eat mostly low-carb, and they made me an egg scramble with peppers, tomato, onion, Brussels sprouts, cheese and bacon that was perfectly cooked, with orange slices on the side. Portions were good (I actually couldn't finish the scramble.) The service was friendly, down to earth, and attentive. Food came out fast. Oh, and the brewed coffee was very good, too. Prices are lower/comparable to diners that don't offer food this good. I can't comment on the baked goods except to say that they looked delectable. Thanks for a great start to my day, Toasted Owl!

Toasted Owl is the place to go for an awesome atmosphere while you relax with the best bloody in town. My personal favorite is the prosciutto and brie sandwich. The staff make sure you have a great dining experience, especially Anthony!!

The intention of the owner was right when she told her staff to serve me 10 minutes before closing. But then she left, and after a long wait for a panini (I was only customer), I asked for the sandwich to go. What I unwrapped was a non- toasted sandwich that lacked the cohesiveness of a panini, and I paid almost $10 for it, sans any sides.

Amazing.... amazing service, amazing food, amazing environment! Truly flawless, from the cute, crazy decor to the food that tickles tastebuds. My friends happened to get their food a couple of minutes earlier than I did and so they brought out a delightful oatmeal raisin cookie and apologized even though I didn't think twice about it! They also altered my order completely from the original menu item and still made it perfectly! I highly suggest!

Located right downtown, this little shop is located in the old Bank of America Building. It's been a few different things in the last few years, mostly deli-type food. Well now it's an owl-themed cafe, complete with coffee (strong, medium roast this morning) and a complete menu of breakfast and lunch options. They have the shop all decked out in autumn colors, which fits well with the owl theme. Music this morning is classic rock, which works just fine for me. I've got the space pretty much to myself and the staff, who are friendly, young, and surprisingly awake for 7am. Toasted Owl is one of the few places I have been that actually has cushions on their seats! The eclectic mix of furniture includes a light table and a variety of used indoor pieces. Again. CUSHIONS! Wifi is free and fast. The user/password combo is posted on one of the walls, so there is no purchase-necessary-access, unlike many shops in town. The staff doesn't seem to mind. The restroom situation here is a little wonky - you need to get the key from the staff. Feels a little like grade school all over again. Gotta ask permission, get the hall pass, and then go. Some things to definitely check out when you're here: MUFFINS! I am a freak for muffins and The Toasted Owl has it down to a science. They do a muffin of the day, fresh baked and super tasty. Fresh-squeezed orange juice. Not everyone has it, and it's surprisingly good stuff. Probably has added sugar, but still tasty. Overall, I this place is nice. Great for a coffee/lunch/brunch meeting and especially good if you have a craving for muffins and cute decor.

This place is fantastic! Service: absolutely top notch. We were heading through Flagstaff from Sedona on our way to the Grand Canyon, oh and we were pretty darn hungry. We hesitated when we saw the staff bustling around the main seating area with delicious looking baked goods, but our waitress enthusiastically ushered us in. And it just got better! Smiles and constant coffee top offs all before 8am. And free local paper - charming! Food: YUM! My husband had the chorizo breakfast burrito and it was awesome. I eat paleo and the scrambled egg plate was perfect, and the bacon was hands down some of the best I've eaten. Great find. Eat here! Support local awesomeness!

Great little cafe. Stopped in on a Sunday because there was a wait everywhere else in town. Best breakfast burrito I've had in months. Unique dishes with great flavor. The Toasted Owl is definitely a place worth checking out for excellent food and fun atmosphere.

Great brunch specials. $17 with unlimited Bloody Mary or mimosas. Always great quality food. Creative and unexpected. Smaller place so it gets crowded early on the weekends. Worth the wait!!

Loved this place the first time I went there! Really great food, good ambiance, service was great. And bottomless Bellini or Mimosas on the weekend brunch special! The owls were way cute. I just wish the location was a little less odd, but I'm sure as they grow in popularity, they will snag a better location for their shop.
