My boyfriend and I were in Flag for a ski trip with another couple. Our trusted GPS told us that if we walked it was 1.2 miles from our hotel and would take 20 minutes... well it wasnt. It took us 2 HOURS to get there! We were all soo tired and pissed off once we got there, LUCKILY the staff there was AWESOME! Our server was EXTREMELY sweat and funny, and when it came time to call a cab they (the manager) were nice enough to help us find a number and fllow up with the company when they didnt show. As for the food, we had been drinking the whole day after skiing so it honestly could have been dog food... BUT WE LOVED IT! We would definalty go back!

I don't know why I went here. I guess because someone else was paying for it. But, disgusting. The only other time I went here was after first communion and even as a kid I hated it. GROSS

This Sizzler has been around for quite a while now and to my knowledge, it didn't have a great reputation. In fact, my Flagstaff friends always told me to avoid this one in favor of the one on the westside, and the first time I went there (about 4 years ago), they were right. Until, one day, a good friend of mine moved here, and connoisseur of buffets that he is, suggested we go to this place as it was near my house. We arrived to find out that they are under new ownership, the dynamic duo of Scott and Matt, both of whom are some of the most fantastic people I have ever met. First, the food. This place is definitely a Sizzler, so expect typical Sizzler food. My own opinion is that it is often not of the highest quality, however that is neither here nor there as long as it is well kept and maintains consistency, which it does. I tend to go visit the salad bar which is very cheap. I must say that it is well kept. It is clean, the food items are always well stocked and fresh, and I see an attendant working the salad bar often to replace the samplings. They serve an assortment of salads, spaghetti with meatballs, fried chicken, soup, and even have a taco bar where you can make your own tacos. Then there are the deserts, which include ambrosia, ice cream, pudding, and more, among others. Again, if you are expecting the most high quality food, you will be a little disappointed, but it's edible and fills you up. It's a buffet, what can I say. As far as the customer service is concerned. This place has some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. The crew here seems to really care about what they are doing, and go the extra mile to accommodate other customers. I would like to give a special shout out to Dana, who served me and my friend today, as she was very accommodating and helpful. So my fellow Flagstaffians, I must say that if you ever harbored any ill will towards this Sizzler location, now is the time to try it again. It is under some new and fantastic ownership, and my hope is that you will have as great of an experience with this place as I did.

The Eastside Sizzler has been around for many years. A recent business decision brought about a father and son (Scott and Math, respectively) to running this place. That's where the greatness about this place begins. The service here is beyond great. Marvelous, exceeding expectations, amazing...I could go on-and-on with a list of great words to describe how I feel about the customer service here. It starts with the the father-son duo. They are always visible, friendly, and truly care for the restaurant. The servers are all great and make sure you are always good on refreshments and satisfied. Going the extra mile is one of the elements of a 5-star rating It truly reflects the "As good as it gets!" description when you roll the mouse over the maximum rating. Of course there is the food. The salad bar is excellent. The salad's are fresh, the hot foods are well-cooked, and the desserts are delicious. The broccoli and cheese soup actually has pieces of broccoli in it! Keep in mind that you have the option of doing the all-you-can-eat salad by itself, a menu item by itself, or a menu item with a salad bar add-on. First-timers seem to be confused, so hopefully that will clarifies for anyone reading this who hasn't been to a Sizzler before. Another topic that went into the rating: everything is clean. Spills are taken care of immediately. The presentation of everything is outstanding. For a great meal with amazing service, come to this Sizzler. I've been here now several times and will be coming quite often. I am so excited to post this review to tell everyone how awesome this place is!

I should have know as soon as I noticed my steak knife was dirty. But by that time I had already paid. I got the AYCE riblets $10.99, salad bar $5.49, ice tea $2.49; total with tax $21.00. It's funny because I thought to myself, this guy is sure up selling pretty good. He explains that the all-you-can-eat riblets come initially with 3 then 2 after that. Well I could barely choke down the first two. I think they must have been sitting do a bit because they were hard and dry. They were horrible!!! The salad bar was decent, the soups seemed very thick, almost to a gravy thickness. Fries were standard and my ice tea was the highlight of my meal. Unless you are just getting the ICE TEA, don't come here! Unless you're simply exhausted to go any other place...DONT COME HERE. The cook either hates his job or his boss because he was grumpy and terrible. I could see him from where I sat. I am just ticked because I spent $21 and it flat.....out.......SUCKED!! Friendly? Yes all I came across were friendly. But VERY DISAPPOINTED

I hadn't been to a sizzler in probably 20 years. As a vegetarian, there isn't a good menu selection unless you get the salad bar (which I didn't want to have). The cashier was nice enough to get order me a grilled cheese (which wasn't on the menu). The server was very attentive and kept coming to our table to ask if we needed anything. The food may not be anything special but I got really great service here.

Terrible. Should have checked Yelp first. Over priced, food was cold, not fresh. .... DO NOT order the cheese bread, it was so awful I had to spit it out. We should have just went to the Jack in the box next door.

The guy at the register was so friendly-- he gave us a 10% military discount (thanks to his awesome owner for having this!) and we chatted about California, where we are from a bit. This is a traditional Sizzler and I loved the salad bar selection! They had retried beans and flour tortillas, chips, meatball spaghetti, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese. Lots of veggies and fruits selection! My only complaint is that they didn't have a spring mix to use on my salad, just iceberg or spinach salad. But I had the Cesar salad and it was great. Also, our nice server was an older lady who stayed on top of our every need. Most thankful for the military discount. Thanks for appreciating those who serve your country! We will definitely be back on our way back to Cali.

I gave this location two stars because of the service we received. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. I was extremely surprised by this! However, this is just an ordinary Sizzler. Some of the food looked as though it had been sitting out for a while (especially the re-fried beans which had dried out). The ice cream was gritty. The chocolate cake tasted like water and it was not evenly cooked. The first plate I was given had food particles on it, and there were crumbs on the seat of our booth. Some of the food did stand out: The pumpkin cheesecake "shots" in the dessert area were delicious. The fries were fresh. They were very crisp on the outside but soft in the middle. If you do visit a sizzler, I would recommend purchasing a meal which comes with the salad bar included. It's the best pricing. The salad bar alone was $11.99. Adding it to a meal which didn't include it made it $5 (however those meals all start around $10). I ordered their Malibu Chicken with the salad bar and it was only $12.99.

Pasta too peppery. Lobster over cooked. Butter for lobster tasted like canola oil. A complete disappointment

If I could give this place a 1/2 star I would. Didn't even get any food. Ordered a rib-eye steak, went to find a table and then was told that they were out! OUT!! How could you not know your were out stock. The manager was right there to and didn't tell her until I had paid and walked away! Very poor customer service, very poor management, don't see how that location can make a profit if he doesn't make sure he has adequate supplies. And when did Sizzler change policy and not include the salad bar as part of the meal, 27 dollars is way overpriced for a steak and a salad and a drink. Avoid this place like the plague.

Food was mediocre. The salad bar was good, but the order was not right, the meat was tough, the bathrooms were both dirty and in need of repair. This is a place that just needs to close.

The steaks were cooked correctly but were a little tough. The salad bar was good and if you stack some ice cream on top of a cookie on top of the lava cake (with chocolate and caramel on top) you'll have a happy end to your meal.

NO, NO, NO! Overpriced, dirty and the food's not very good. We were on our way back from the Grand Canyon, getting hungry an my partner REALLY wanted to go to Sizzler. Me, not so much, but I gave in. $30 for two entrees and two drinks: #1: a tiny chicken breast, a little broccoli and the salad bar. #2: a pork chop, baked potato and the salad bar. The salad bar is not that great. Once we paid for our overpriced dinner we went to find a table and all but three of them were dirty with leftover plates from previous diners. Of course some of them were occupied, but how could half of the tables in the restaurant be dirty? It was 4:00PM, not the height of the dinner rush. When the food finally came I was underwhelmed. Earlier today I reviewed McDonald's I would have much rather have eaten there and I don't eat at McD's very often. Stay away from Sizzler. Don't say I didn't tell you.

I would NOT recommend Flagstaff Sizzler. Ordered a steak medium and received a strangely shaped steak that was CLEARLY medium well. When the issue was raised, a manager came out and decided to ARGUE that the steak was actually medium!! Have they never heard the phrase 'the customer is always right'?? I don't go to a restaurant for an argument! Epic fail Sizzler!

Not bad food, even better service. We couldnt make up our minds of where to eat so we all compromised and chose this place. Food was good for what it was, but WAYYYY overpriced. The food bar was empty most of the time but what was up there was decent. Our wonderful waitress is what saved the day thats for sure. She was friendly and helpful and just all around pleasant. However, we didnt go there to chat with people we went for food and it was a bit on the meh side especially for the cost. Think twice about going here if you want excellent food. If you are ok with mediocre food and good service then head on over. With so many wonderful places to eat in flagstaff area you may want to consider something else.

Lunch buffet is $14 with an iced tea and not too bad, way over priced as is everything else here. Once paid $20 bucks for a steak and some shrimp. Got a three inch wide steak with sinew and cheap ass shrimp. Rip off every time! Next time, try Outback for steak! I believe tourist busses from the GC and old folks keep this place in business.

Stopped here for lunch while driving through. The food is alright so is the service, nothing extraordinary... a bit expansive though.

Where else can you go and load up at the salad bar and see lotsa trains rolling by right out across the window? I'm a fan! The food is your usual fare from Sizzler - basic, tasty, but certainly not fancy cuisine. Decent lunch options even if you don't like beef - lots of ways to serve chicken, and a varied salad bar for vegetarians as well as carnivores.
