Super tasty! Huge menu. I like getting the Singapore Noodle. My big thing with Chinese food is grease. The food here is not super greasy and has loads of flavor. I had it delivered and they were right on time.

So, I normally order delivery from China Garden in Flagstaff...but since about a year ago the food became terrible. So, I decided today to get delivery from Hot Wok Express. This was the first time I've tried their food and I'm not impressed at all. First off, I expected white rice to come with my order since white rice was not listed on the online ordering menu ( grubhub.com ) and every Chinese food place I've gotten food from normally includes white rice for free. Not sure if they just don't serve white rice, which would be odd. Another thing, the crab puffs I received with my order were hard as rocks. Possibly been sitting out for a while and they also contained about half a teaspoon of filling...given how decently big they are they are not worth the price. I also got a noodle dish...it was pretty watered down. The sauce is not thick and doesn't stick to the noodles making the flavor pretty bland. Decent amount of noodle though. Over all, I probably will only order from Hot Wok Express one more time to see if maybe it was just the cooks having a bad day. If not, I'll just have to wait to eat decent Chinese when ever I go to Phoenix.

Delivery is fairly rude, and usually takes quite a bit of time. I also got food poisoning from their orange chicken, along with 3 other people I work with. That's enough to keep me away.

Puke in my mouth instead. Phosphate injected meat.

Claims to be open until 9pm and will deliver but at 8pm no one answers the phone listed on the menu. Menu seems to have more authentic selections than China Garden, which also delivers. Hot Wok's menu includes low mein.

the place is in Flagstaff, AZ. and I have to say it was better than what we expected...until the noodles arrived. so if you have to eat chinese while you're in Flag, it's not bad. If you want real chinese food, come to Alhambra...

Ugh. The food is mediocre, and the service is terrible. Located on the west end of the Basha's shopping center. I'm not sure what keeps them in business. Avoid. Better food Downtown, or off of Milton/Rte. 66.

I would say this place is hit or miss. I have had good food delivered from there only once. During another delivery they gave us food that was watered down and had a lack of flavor. It is a little over priced.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
