Best fish and chips stand in the Phoenix area. The hand battered cod is the bomb. A little out of the way but worth the drive.

Picture say's it all, was not happy. 1/2 meatballssss is not! a meatball.
I actually created a Yelp account just so I can leave a review on this place. We tried it for the first time about 2 weeks ago and already went back last night. We have tried the pizza and it was really good. It's a bit greasy, but I have yet to find a pepperoni pizza that isn't. The boneless wings are delicious. My mother in law tried the steak and cheese calzone and it was pretty big and basted in garlic butter. This is now our go to pizza spot in Buckeye.
Ordered delivery food came fast and was real hot. It was my 1st time eating here. The Alfredo was good but had a lot a garlic. The pizza is by far the best pizza I have had in the valley. It is a little expensive but is still worth every penny

Very nice for the West Valley. We drove out there from central Phoenix to hear our musician friend play.
Tempo is hit or miss. Ordered the meatloaf and it came out ice cold in the center. Service is usually ok
Their nachos are amazing. I dream about them! Their margaritas are tasty and strong. We eat here a lot and have always had great service.

Small town feeling, old world taste. You feel like a resident even if you are from far away. It doesn't really matter what you order, it's going to be wonderful. I had the garlic bread to start. Crisp and tasty with olive oil. My Calzone was perfectly cooked with their own concoction of fresh Marinara. My wife's Pizza was excellent and service was on time and cheerful. Be prepared to spend a little money. We spent $25 per person plus tip but we also ordered way too much food. I think the cost is worth it. I've spent more for a lot less!
What could have been................... I took my car to get serviced this morning and then I was going to head to a different pizza place. Turns out, they don't open until 4pm during the week. Rats! Change of plans, stat! I had remembered seeing this restaurant being mentioned in the "Best Pizza in Phoenix" category somewhere. They had this concoction of mythological proportions called "The Vesuvio". This thing was half pizza, half calzone. I knew at some point I had to try it out. Today was that day. I drove down here from Surprise, parked near the Bashas and walked on over. Cool little location and neighborhood btw. I was greeted by a friendly host and told to sit wherever I wanted. I chose a table kind of near the pizza oven area. I ordered water to drink and then already knew what I was getting.......The Vesuvio! I placed my order for that, sipped on my water and then about 10 minutes later my order was delivered to my table. Here is how it was............ The Vesuvio ($16.00) - Right when this was delivered to my table, I knew it wasn't going to be amazing like I had hoped. It was decent in size but there were some obvious issues with it. First of all, the crust was really white. They probably used too much flour to dust it and/or didn't bake it long enough at a high enough temperature. There were no charred bits anywhere to be found. The bottom of the crust was barely dark either. The only dark down there was from some of the dust from the bottom of the oven it was baked in. I decided to cut open the calzone side first. This thing had cheese, ham and salami. About that..... The ham was cubed up little pieces. While plentiful, it just didn't work for this calzone. It would have been better with slices of ham. The little cubes of ham just fell all over the place and were a pain in the ass to pick up with my fork to try and eat. The salami they use seemed really pale and it was not piping hot like it should have been. Hell, even the cheese was not totally melted all the way. All of that paired with the soft, underdone dough was disappointing. Next up, I tried the pizza side of things. This was better but still not anywhere close to good. The cheese was at least melted, there were plenty of mushrooms and the sauce was decent. Once again though, on top of that dough, it wasn't even close to being "good". Did I eat the whole thing? Yup. The food was definitely edible and it wasn't disgusting or anything like that. I was just disappointed is all. I had such high hopes and was totally let down. The fact that I dropped an Andrew Jackson made my wallet frown too. Would I ever come back? Nope! There are way too many other excellent pizza places in Phoenix that know how to cook a proper pizza. The Vesuvio is one hell of an idea and if some other great pizzeria decided to make it, I guarantee it would be off the wall amazing! Just turns out that the one place that does make it, Grazie, falls short. Sad but true.
The restaurant has delicious food and amazing customer service. Their are very kid friendly too. So whether you are looking for a restaurant on a date night or one to take your family, this is the one. We love the location on Main Street :) if you want to have their food at the Blue Daisy Spa across the street, you can order it through you can have delicious lunch while at the Spa :)

Verrado grille has amazing fish tacos and we always sit out on the patio with an amazing view of the Golf Course! The service has always been very good and the prices are reasonable especially for being on the Golf course! The inside dining area is very nice as well with a great Bar area. There are Tvs so you can watch sports as well.
As a resident of Verrado going on 2 years, a transplant from Lake Forest, IL the Verrado Grille reminds me of a The Bristol, very cool atmosphere. The Food is Great and those drinks are to die for, Pricing is about the same like Red Lobster but the experience is so wonderful. Love it.
We have lived in Verrado for close to 8 years and have seen many, many chefs come and go at The Grill. We finally gave up trying to get a good meal here 2 years ago. My husband travels a lot and rarely do we get a "date night". We thought we would try The Grill one more time since it had been a long time hoping for a better meal, at least we knew the drinks and atmosphere/view was worth going for to watch the sunset over the White Tanks. What a difference Chef J. Rasshad Brown makes at this beautiful restaurant! Both my husband and myself could not remember when we have had such a fantastic meal in our adult lives. We started with the bruschetta which was really good with the wine (they have a great wine list) I got the scallops with the best sweet potatoes ever. My husband went with meatloaf which is definitely not your Sunday night meatloaf. Our meal was so good we asked our waitress to leave a message for the chef, instead he came out to meet us personally. We thanked him over and over for the most amazing meal ever. I say bravo!

This is my go to spot when I am missing home (midwest) I am also a huge fan because the kids menu is for "kids of all ages". So when I just want a small meal and no left overs, this place is just right. Not only do I love to eat here I also shop in the store. I find the best Halloween and Christmas items that are quality and really make an impression. When I close a home (being a REALTOR with Realty ONE Group) A Cracker Barrel gift is always loved!
Love this place. Husband and I stop by everytime we are in town. Food is always delicious, service is outstanding, and we never wait more than 5 minutes to be seated.
This a safe bet when looking for a quiet, comfortable place to eat. Home style, comfort food in a hurry. This location doesnt get as busy as the Litchfield location and it is conveniently located near a Lowes and Wal-Mart.

My family has been coming here since they opened, and I always get a breakfast no matter what time it is. I love the cheddar hashbrown casserole, it is divine. I've enjoyed their country store and have bought numerous Yankee candles and once an adorable Pirate costume for one of my kids. I have to say though, if you are browsing around the country store expect an employee to hover over you the whole time, lol. My sons enjoy the little wooden games that are on the tables and also playing checkers (nice that they offer those). Service is almost always very friendly and prompt. Avoid coming here on Sundays after church though, it is a madhouse.
This is great for breakfast .Giant checkers and rocking chair greeting on entrance..great service and love the bisque test
I had just arrived at my friends place in Arizona and was hungry after the 5 1/2 hour drive. My friend suggesting a few places to eat, but there are few options in Buckeye, AZ and Cracker Barrel is the only one that sounded good. I'd heard of Cracker Barrel but never been, so this was my chance. yelp.com/biz_photos/crac… We walk towards the front door and past a bunch of rocking chairs. Anyone up for a game of checkers? yelp.com/biz_photos/crac… The front door. yelp.com/biz_photos/crac… We walk in and what a surprise... a country store inside! yelp.com/biz_photos/crac… We're taken into the dining room and seated. Yessiree Billy-Bob, if this ain't country, I don't know what is! yelp.com/biz_photos/crac… SERVICE: Our server Deana was pretty awesome. Very friendly, always with had smile and not far away if we needed anything, including a beverage refills we never had to ask for. The food came out of the kitchen in a timely manner as well. FOOD: After looking over the large menu of southern comfort fixin's, I decided on the Fried Chicken Salad ($8.69), a side of Mac & cheese ($2.59) and a side of the "Hash brown casserole" ($2.59). My friend ordered the chicken tender sandwich platter ($8.49). My salad was good as salads go. Crisp lettuce, crispy chicken tender pieces, grape tomatoes, cheese & croutons. Simple, but tasty overall and really hit the spot! yelp.com/biz_photos/crac… Mac & cheese = ooey, gooey, creamy & cheesy.... Pretty tasty and more flavor than just melted Velveeta. yelp.com/biz_photos/crac… I had to try the Hash brown casserole because "it was there". Very cheesy and oniony, it's quite rich, but quite tasty! yelp.com/biz_photos/crac… My friend said his open faced chicken sandwich (w/fried rather than grilled chicken) was very good, though he didn't eat any of the corn bread and apple butter that came with it. yelp.com/biz_photos/crac… yelp.com/biz_photos/crac… OVERALL: Nice place and friendly service, for when you want those down home country vittles in a VERY down home country environment.... 3.5 stars rounded up!

Good, best around anyway. Good pizza, wings are a bit small, dinners are satisfying but not great. I would and will go again. I might be harsh being from NY and of Italian heritage but its better than "fast food pizza"
I think the guy I met was either the manager or co owner..I just moved here from San tan and this was the first place we visited. It was pouring down rain and my kids were craving pizza and wings. We had been moving all day and so many things were left in boxes I could not dare cook. I watched this man make everything from scratch and as I was asking him questions he actually answered them with enthusiasm. The food is great but the customer service is incredible. I placed a phone order and was given the wrong food. When I called in and explained the problem the same guy was very apologetic and offered to replace the whole order free. He said the young lady was new so I totally understood. No one is perfect but the fact that he cared so much about how I felt was amazing. I am a lifetime customer!
Meatball sub and garlic knots are very good, pizza is ok. My biggest gripe is that the restaurant always smells like a sewer. Either the people there don't notice it anymore, or they don't care. What little decor exists feels sparse and out-of-date, primitive like a school or hospital cafeteria. With a little work, this could be a better place.

This review could have easily been a 1 star but because of the professionalism and the customer service I received from Carla, it is now a 5 start review. I placed my order this evening and was informed there was a much longer than normal wait time. That was a bit upsetting but I was willing to wait. When I ordered a pan pizza, I was then told that they were out of pan pizzas. Grant it I called at 9:30 pm and it was close to closing time, but with a $10 for any pizza, they should have been prepared and had extra dough prepared. I asked to speak to a manager so I could complain. I was expecting lame excuses and apologies but I was so pleasantly surprised! Carla, the manager on duty, did apologize but she did not try to give me a song and dance. She was honest with me and that goes a long way. She handled my complaint so well that I decided to go ahead and order anyways. She offered me a substantial discount for the trouble that I experienced and for that I am thankful. If every manager could learn how to handle customer complaints with the same amount of honesty and understanding as Carla did this evening, the world would be a much better place. A little but of humility and honesty goes a long way and is very much appreciated. Thank you Carla for renewing my faith in customer service.
This place has changed over the years. The manager is nice but one of the workers is the absolute worse. I think his name is Cesar. He doesn't wait on people. I was picking up a pizza and a couple came in. They stood there waiting to be seated and he didn't bother to acknowledge them. Pizza was gross and not even fresh. Not coming back again after 20 years of being a customer.
The staff is a little rude they will have you waiting 20 minutes or more before they help you but in the end the food is good
