The meatball sliders: great bun, moist meatball topped with just enough red onion and a marinara. Served with homemade chips and "local" sauce (barbecue with a bite). Very good. The spinach salad with pecans, feta etc and the house cranberry vinaigrette. Excellent. The pizza was good, great crust. Service excellent, prompt, friendly. Prices were consistent with Alaska!

The Jalapeño Cheesy Bread is the best appetizer on the menu!! Loved the "Husky" specialized pizza as well!! The small pizza was just right for 2 people!! Our food was warm & delivered to our table quickly!!

Food and drinks were good. We ordered half and half specialty pizza, two of the beer samplers (pretty cool and a good price), and a aurora nights martini? Which was yummy. Service was nice as well. Great hangout option.

Once again the food and service was amazing. The wings are fantastic! I suggest the dry rub. The service is great! Very personable staff. Keep up the good work.

We had amazing service, the food was phenomenal, prices were fantastic! We will definitely come back again. This is a great place to have some food and drinks in the Mat-Su! I've heard mixed reviews but I'm definitely going to keep coming back. My favorite drink is the Northern Lights Martini... Yum!! The Denali Destroyer pizza was amazing. The sizes alone are huge! My kid loves the food too, and she's a picky eater!!

Alright food, but nothing really special. I may give it a try again at some other time, but from what I had, it's nowhere near as good as Mooses Tooth in anchorage.

Very interesting place, almost like a sports bar but not quite. Pizzas are good IMO but my wife does not like them much. They have pretty bold flavors. They have several local beers that are nice. Great place to go meet buds and have a pizza and a beer.

Good food, service needs work. Taco salad was good, glad I got the small! Chicken sliders were ok; the in house made potato chips were great! Garlic fries were good as well. Service needs work. We ended up finding someone to pay after waiting for the check, asking for it, and then having our server walk by at least 4 times and not take the check! Food is good enough that we will give them another chance and will offer a review again.

This was obviously a chilli's in another life, but the food was really cheap quality. We got a pizza, mozzarella sticks, and their dry rub chicken wings. The wings had a sweet rub that tasted funny and the pizza was as if it was from a buffet... It just tasted really cheap and probably frozen. Our waitress was nice and service was quick, we were n the bar side. Do not waste your money here :/

Great pizza and Cajun fries appetizer. Love the atmosphere inside the restaurant as well. Great place to stop after a hike in the valley, on the way home from a cabin or for a semi-casual dinner. I will definitely go back and recommend this place to all my friends traveling through Wasilla.

We didn't have a very good dining experience at all. It took a considerable amount of time to receive service and when we finally did we ordered food for our kids first just to get them fed. We ordered about 10 minutes later for ourselves because that is about how long it took our server to return. When the kid's food was dropped off the server left rather quickly and didn't provide any forks or spoons. We waited for a long time yet again and I finally went to the bar and requested some. The bartender had to get everything and after waiting for a good while again I had to go back to the bar to get some ketchup. The was quite a bit more waiting for things throughout the time we were there but at this point it is clear that the service that was provided to us was less than stellar. So on to the food. I ordered the taco salad and my wife ordered the chicken wrap. The lettuce in both was extremely yellow and her wrap was rather bland. My salad seemed like I got the end of the week ingredients. The macaroni and cheese that my kids had was pretty standard so no real positives or negatives there. Overall I wasn't very impressed. This is the second time I've been there and the last time was just a mediocre experience. We ordered a pizza that time which was pretty much average. This time the food was pretty lame as well as the service so I would think that for what you spend there you could probably find better.

Went here twice in the last two weeks. First time was for lunch. We had a kids pizza and an open faced meatball sandwich. It was good enough to try again for dinner. Once we got our seats it took about 15 minutes before they came and asked what we wanted to drink. We also ordered our meals at that time. I should have known better and left at that time but we were tired and hungry. It took 45 minutes to get the food. The pizza was not bad but also not worth the wait or the price. After 15 minutes of trying to flag down someone to get our check and a box for our leftovers, I went to the hostess station and asked her to help our waitress. Unless they make some huge changes to the place I will not be back.

Meatball sliders! A different twist on an Italian sandwich. Very friendly server (Ben). Recommended by this "over 60" traveler.

I should've went to Papa Murphy's. Ordered a large chicken, white sauce, garlic sausage, green onions for a whopping $30. Absolutely nothing special about this pizza. When I got there it had red sauce on it and the guy thought it was hilarious, but was apologetic ,because he thought I said light sauce not white sauce. You could hear the staff joking about it as the fixed a new pizza for me. I will never go back to this establishment because of the quality the price.

My fishing buddies and I stopped here for dinner after fishing the Deshka River. Service was good, the beer was cold, and the pizza was tasty. We ate early so there were not too many other customers so we got quick service. Decor is like a Chili's turned into a Pizza Pub which is what it is.

Waited a longgggg time to be seated. I think they prefer the younger crowd, they sat several younger people before us that came in after us. My husband asked to speak to the manager, rather loudly. Manager came and seated us, showed us great favor while we were there. We paid our bill and left. A couple of weeks later we went back and waited quite a while again and finally sat in the bar, the food was mediocre at best. Service is lacking. Really isn't worth the trouble it takes to get food that isn't worth waiting for. Oh yeah, don't try to add anything to there pizzas. They don't allow changes to their overpriced version of pizza.

Good pizza wings and sandwiches. Nice beer selection. Really liked the place and how clean it was. Average price. Will go back.

I really wish I had checked here before going to dinner at Locals tonight. My husband and I shared some garlic fries.. They give Red Robin garlic fries a run for their money. He had Uncle Duke's sandwich. They weren't kidding when they said it was enough for two. He said the meatballs were incredible but the eggplant didn't do anything to add to the dish so in the future he'd order the meatball sandwich instead. The service was relatively decent. The waiter was courteous if not prompt. Sadly, as a self proclaimed carb fanatic, pizza lives and dies by the crust.... I wasn't impressed with the pizza at all. The crust wasn't much different than you'd find at Chuck E Cheese. This is no Moose's Tooth or E.R. Ale House pizza. Those are both places I'd rather drive to for pizza than return to Locals for.

Best Pizza I've ever had. Crust is crunchy without being cardboard, sauce is tangy and plentiful. Just a great pizza.

My family went to eat here, and I ordered the chicken caesar salad during a temporary avoidance of carbs. Had the menu said "Canned chicken caesar salad", I would not have ordered it. It was definitely the first time I've ever received chicken like that and the last. It had that scooped out with a fork look and all. I didn't eat it, and ended up trying the pizza. It was okay, but I could live the rest of my life without eating there again.

Decent pizza, but I feel like for the price it needs some work. The menu is creative though and the ingredients work well together. My poor waiter I think was the only one working on a busy busy night ):

Good pizza. Really like the crust. One of the better pizza places to eat in Wasilla. Service can be slow when they are very busy, but still a great place to go

A nice change from the Chili's chain restaurant that used to be here. 29 Alaskan beers on tap! Count 'em...29! For the poor suckers that don't drink real beer they also have MGD and Coors Light... The wine list is a little....sketchy...but hey, at least they have some. The food is primarily pizzas, salads, wings, and open face "sandwiches" that they say you will need a knife and fork to eat... I had heard that the pizza was comparable with Moose's Tooth in Anchortown...it isn't quite there but it's a close second....but they've only been open about a month. A little tweaking of the crust and the gap will narrow. Not quite as extensive of a pizza list as Moose but you can always "build your own". There are some interesting combo's on the list that I look forward to trying. Today I had the Midnight Sun. Tasty but a little salty, but perhaps that should be expected with the feta and kalamatas...and nothing the Silver Gulch Lager couldn't handle. Locals is a nice addition to the somewhat marginal cuisine scene in Wasilla. And they are open until 11pm 7 days a week so you can stay on the river fishing just a little longer and still grab some good grub on the way back home. I'm looking forward to trying more of their menu. Support your local small business and eat Locals!!

Great pizza, great variety of wings, excellent selection of local beers. They offer some other things on the menu, but honestly, I've never bothered because when I go there, I just want a Denali Destroyer with a nice hoppy beer. Always ask about their specials; they usually are trying to finish off a keg of something, so the price is great on your beer. My wife and I go there 2-3 times a month, and sometimes, if the kids are lucky, we take them too. Everyone in the family loves it -- as for the wait time, we've only had an extended wait (10 minutes or so) once, when we brought the entire extended family along (grandma, grandpa, uncle, aunt, and ten cousins)... but when the party is that big, I expect a bit of a wait. Finally, the decor is simply awesome: an eclectic mix of Alaskana with a particular focus on Wasilla history.

My first time here I tried a pizza called the Little Su and I added basil as an extra topping, thus making it a Margherita (which should be standard at any serious pizza place). Their pizza unfortunately is very mediocre, under cooked to my liking and the crust vey mealy, dry and bland with little gluten development, the sauce is too sweet and otherwise bland and commerically, the cheese bland and a bit too much but at least it was NOT the heavy rubbery cheese found in many "American" pie places. The house salad so so just Iceburg lettuce with a couple pieces of cucumber, tomato and very mealy-powdery instutional croutons, which were gross, bottom of the barrel perhaps, with the shakings (but something that shouldn't be). The spinach salad that my friend had was pretty good though just very small for the money. Excellent beer selection as others have noted but extremely limited on wine. I personally have NO desire to ever go back for pizza but it is a very NICE place inside so maybe something else, service so so, and lots of beer to choose from.

Great service (3:30pm), good beer selection, large portions. The only drawback is that it's a true pizza pub, if you want something other than pizza they have wings and pizza fix'ns on a salad or wrap. It does have a great view from the bar.

Our new favorite go-to restaurant! Food is plentiful, hot, and delicious! Usually have to take some home. Service is wonderful, and we even have our favorite regular waitress!

Over a one hour wait for pizza on a night that wasn't over busy, a few empty tables scattered around. The pizza was only ok. I don't think the pizza was worth what they charged, I think it was over priced and our service was lacking. We had waited quite awhile to try it since it was new but the wait did not pay off. Please bring back Chili's
