    It has been a couple of years since I have been to Bosco's and was looking forward to dining there. First, I was meet at the door with "are you here for pickup" which was her ASSUMPTION that as I was dining alone. Started a bad foot, of the 6 wines offered by the glass 3 were unavailable and the other 3 were obviously what no one drinks. Food has changed somewhat, not to the positive side. Overall it will be a much longer time before I will return. NOTE TO THE BUSINESS: women do travel alone and they do go out alone.

    This town's obsession with tomato sauce that comes out of cans, bothers me. I've made better tomato sauce using Campbell's soup and garlic. Pasta's are typically over cooked, and mushy - I'm guessing that's how most of the graying, clientele like it. I've had Veal Picatta that was just greasy and floating around on the plate from oils... The best part of this restaurant (other than it's locally owned in a shit hole that's smashed with major chains, which is why I gave it a second star) is the ambience... I really like the place... I just wish the food was better.

    We love Bosco's. Don't short yourself. Get the Fettuccini Alfredo. The meatballs are moist and the specials are a great price. I don't understand the reviews that dog the pasta. As a world traveler, I respect what they put out.

    Fun local place with a kitschy atmosphere and good service. Food was good in the mid century small town Italian way. No complaints, had a great time.

    This is my favorite restaurant in Casper. Whenever my boyfriend takes me out for a nice dinner, he knows without asking that this is where I want to go. There's always a wait when we go (usually between 7 and 8), but it actually only ever takes a few minutes for them to seat us. The atmosphere is AWESOME. I can't believe we have such a place here in Wyoming. The kitchen window faces into one side of the dining area, which I like because it makes the restaurant feel just a little more real and personal. I like to get the Italian sodas to drink (they are actually Italian cream sodas). They are REALLY good. One of those drinks you can't get yourself to stop drinking once you start. The appetizers are unimpressive. They are frozen food style, although I don't know if they are actually frozen food. They have mozzarella sticks, which they fry perfectly (crispy outside shell, hot gooey mess inside) and serve with ranch and marinara (I recommend dipping in both at once). We got the fried ravioli once, and those were strange. They're filled with jalapeno cheddar, like something from TGI Fridays. The cheese bread is not worth eating, in my opinion. As for entrees, they are much better. I like the cheese ravioli. Despite what some reviewers have said, they taste nothing like what you could buy at a store. I would know because I practically live off of cheese ravioli, and so I am very familiar with the grocery store version. First of all, the cheese (and I am also pretty well-versed in cheese) actually has different layers of flavor to it. There are subleties. Second of all, the sauce is awesome. I HATE canned or jarred pasta sauce. It never tastes the way it should, I think because of the ridiculous amounts of sugar and lack of quality spices. Anyway, Bosco's sauce is very obviously fresh if you are a fan of raw tomatoes. There is a very particular acidity to it that only fresh tomatoes have. Not everyone will appreciate this flavor. Finally, my pasta has always been cooked perfectly every time. Never mushy! Now, onto my personal favorite: dessert. The lemon cheesecake is absolutely to die for. They say it is lemon cake, but it is definitely cheesecake. The actual cheesecake itself is lemon flavored. Then there are bits of gooey lemon filling randomly strewn through. The best part, though, is the just slightly sour lemon sugar crystal stuff they coat the top with. Damn. We have also tried the raspberry white chocolate cheesecake. It is also really good, though not as good as the lemon. It was too decadent and sweet for me to finish. It has a cookie crust, which I thought was a nice touch. Personally, I think this is easily the best restaurant I have been to in Casper, and it is definitely the best Italian option. Absolutely recommend.

    This is NOT Italian food! 2 people+2 entrees+2 sodas= $65 elementary school cafeteria food that we left uneaten. We will never go back because it was so bad I don't see how they could possibly improve with out changing their recipes completely. Get some freshly grated Parmesan, fresh cracked pepper, sparkling water, and real Caesar Dressing!

    Great atmosphere, wait staff was stellar, food was fine. Make reservations, it's a busy place. The tomato sauce is great - I grow many different varieties of tomatoes and make a lot of different types of sauces from scratch. This place makes a decent sauce - they are obviously not growing their own tomatoes in the parking lot but it's good. Kudos to the owners for not chasing the money and keeping this in the family. Ignore the poor reviews and go enjoy yourself. Ask the wait staff for their suggestions - they will steer you right...

    Hands down the best fettuccine alfredo around! It's homemade with real cream and cheese, but completely worth the extra workout later!! The staff is always very helpful and the decor is unique and charming. The lemon cheesecake is also delicious. Skip the appetizers (fairly generic) and invest in dessert.

    Reminded me of Mamas in Liverpool NY, simple relaxed family place. Homemade chicken soup and salad were 5 stars. Veal was just ok (to much cheese.) but tender sauce was good. Really good by Casper standards everett being busy on a tuesday night. Waitress was 5 stars

    Went with a bunch of friends. We have the appetizers where you choose 3 things. They were okay but seemed like they came from a frozen package. The salads were pretty good and came on a chilled plate. They had beer cheese soup. That was just okay I have had much better recently. The entrees were great I had veal parm very good and quanity was nice. my husband had veal marsala (very good but his food came out cold). One friend had seafood diablo I didn't get to taste his I was busy with mine! I did try my friends veal picata which had way to many capers for me (I like capers in it and all but it was like an entire jar was on the plate lol he she liked it that is all that counts). We tried bananas foster cheese cake and choc lava cake.....yummo! It was a pricey dinner not something we can go out an do all the time (espeically after 3 bottles of wine!) but I will def go back! I couldn't do a 5 star because of the app and the soup but everything else was fantastic.

    Cute restaurant. We went there with a group of 4, and all of us agreed that our food was not as good as expected. Not as fresh, not as homemade. I had a chicken dish - the chicken was pre-fab, frozen breast that had been heated. I had a marinara sauce that mostly tasted like canned tomato paste. Meh. Not a horrible meal, but not a great one either. Forgettable.

    This place has the best Alfredo ever!! I have not been here in over six years, but I still think about that creamy delicious Alfredo. I live on Whidbey Island in Washington so it is just a bit to far to drive, but some day I hope to stop back by for some deliciousness. I am glad to see this little place is still in business.

    First off to the condescending reviewer who said people here basically have no taste.... I came from Jersey and have been to some of the best italian places in NYC. Is Bosco's to the level certainly not...however. I had veal parm it was tender and the portion large... I have no problem paying over $20 for veal as it is har to come by out here. Secondly, i can tell you the sauces on my veal and the side dish of pasta and meat sauce that come with it was NOT canned or jarred. My friend had marsala and it was quite good but maybe needed a little more sauce on it. I never bother with the apps or soups there as that is not what they do well.

    A great little spot... kind of cozy and looks like it could fill up quick on a Friday night... if I had more time in town I would head back... really enjoyed the build your own Fettuccine Alfredo... had chicken, artichoke hearts and sun dried tomatoes. The Alfredo sauce was creamy and cheesy... my entree arrived piping hot... the garlic bread was a bit dry and didn't pack to much of a punch, so I wouldn't order a side of it. As I waited, I got a kick out of the kitschy, clutter style of decor. I left as a satisfied customer.

    Great place to go for lunch. I've stopped in there several times to have the baked lasagna for lunch and have enjoyed it every time. Nice little family type restaurant located just outside the downtown area. They have a great variety of food available for lunch and a more traditional dinner menu. There service is very good, the food is hot, they have great salads, and a good atmosphere so you can sit and have a converstation while enjoying lunch.     This place was truly horrible. Speaking as some one who is from New ORleans, Louisiana (the one town in the United States where people go specifically for the food as well as the music) and who has worked in the service industry for almost 20 years, I can say that this place is one of the worst restaurants I have EVER been to. My girl friend and I were out on a date night and were really looking forward to Boscos. We had heard some great things about the place. They were utterly wrong. I really do not mean this as a slight against folks but I realize now that when you grow up in a town where you think that the best restaurants are Outback (actually a good establishment) and now Olive Garden (total shit food. I mean come on) then you really don't know good quality food. So we get to Boscos and when we walk in we are promptly greeted. That is the last good thing that happened in this place. Mistake One...We were squeezed into a corner. IF it can be helped you should never ever seat some one at a corner table. Especially if there are other, better seating options available. Mistake Two...My girlfriend and I ordered beer. My beer came out and it was the correct one. She ordered Blue Moon but got a totally different beer that didn't even resemble the Blue Moon bottle. She said she was fine with it and would try it so I didn't raise a stink. Luckily she liked it. But that doesn't excuse the lack of attention to detail. Mistake 3...We ordered our Meals. She ordered Cheese Ravioli with a salad as a starter. I ordered Veal Parmesan (don't judge as I no longer eat meat :-D ) and had soup out as a starter. The salad: The salad it self was okay but what was not okay were the ridiculously huge three twelve inch bottles of salad dressing that they put on our table. I mean come really? Do you people have mentally challenged folk running your restaurant? I take that back, because I do not mean to make a slight towards mentally challenged folk, as I believe they would actually do a better job. But seriously, you do not bring stupidly tacky bottles of salad dressing to a small 2 top table. Or any table of any size for that matter. The soup: It was corn chowder. It was corn chowder being served in an ITALIAN restaurant. Need I go any further? Oh and it was disgusting. I did not make it past 3 spoonfuls. Mistake 4...Here some the entrees. The Ravioli: It is ridiculously obvious that this is not freshly made but rather frozen out of a box. We paid 10.95 for this. It tasted like cardboard. And the "pasta sauce" was also obviously not made fresh from scratch. It also had a canned taste to it. Veal Parm: Here is where I get really irritated. Now I used to eat Veal Parm at a place called Rocky and Carlo's in Chalmette, Louisiana. These people are real sicilians, actually from sicily. They know what they are doing. I measured all veal parm by their standards. Boscos didn't even come close. It was sad. I go to cut into the veal and I don't get very far. It was so incredibly tough. I lift up the edge and on the bottom it was burnt black. I call the server over to show her and she gets this look of terror on her face. I realized later that it was not because she sympathized with me, but rather she was scared to go report it to her boss. She says "let me bring it to my boss and see what she says. Oh and do you wan another one?" I replied "yes." She comes back out a couple of minutes later and says "she said that she won't charge you for the veal but only the soup." I was like "okay." It didn't to me to ask if my replacement veal was coming out because I assumed that it was coming. How wrong was I because before I know it here comes the server with the Check. I was flabbergasted. I was so dumbstruck that I didn't even say "what about my dinner?" So they were sending me away hungry. You never ever send some one away hungry. I think I know what happened. The lady who owns the place is also the chef. She is not used to people complaining about here food because most of the people that eat there are used to mediocre crap. So when I sent back a peace of veal that she charges 15 bucks for she probably about shit herself. She did not even come out herself and apologize for over cooking the meat. So the server brings us our ticket on a check tray and on the check tray sits a hand full of after dinner mints...UNWRAPPED AFTER DINNER MINTS! Gross! I do not want to eat some unwrapped candy that you put on a dirty check tray with your dirty hands. We couldn't pay and get out of there soon enough. None of this is exaggeration. I loath this restaurant. I hope she either gets some sense and does better or goes out of business because she is horribly unethical.

    For Casper four stars for lunch and three stars for dinner. Great sandwiches and a lot of food for dinner. Good service and interesting wine / cocktail specials.

    Food was excellent. Service great. Family run and you could tell some regulars stopped in. Only homemade dessert was cannoli, which we tried. We've had better but this was acceptable. We would return.
