On our way back from Yellowstone to Minneapolis chose this one because of the reviews - I should have paid attention that they were 10+months old! Food was definitely 1 star from greasy chips to briskest swimming in BBQ sauce. Pasta salad was pasta swimming in vinegar. On top of that Christine gave us the worst service we had in a long time, not one smile, when she brought the check to the table she slapped it down without a word. Finally location is a converted office space in the middle of an industrial zone with no atmosphere whatsoever. I am sure there are better places in Casper.

They serve Grease burgers here for $13.50. I could not believe the Cold Grease Frys! I ordered the Swiss and mushroom burger, what a joke! No Swiss on the Swiss and mushroom grease burger! The French fries were limp, greasie and cold? This place doe not even deserve A 1 rating? What a shit hole!

Outstanding! Passing through on a cross-country road trip and yelped for lunch. We had a brisket sandwich (excellent), grilled ribeye sandwich (excellent), pulled pork sandwich (very good), wings (good), mac n cheese (regular and with a kick, both good) and homemade chips (very good). The bottom line is, go with the beef! "It's what's for lunch." Aside from the awesome taste, it's worth noting that the ribeye sandwich is so tender that you can easily bite through without half the sandwich coming off in your mouth. Two blocks from the highway entrance where we were heading, so very convenient. Staff was friendly and food (to-go) was ready in about 15 minutes, nice and hot. If we pass through Casper again, this is a must-go!

What a disappointment! The appetizer mushrooms looked great when they came to the table BUT had icy crystals inside. The mac n cheese didn't even come up to the taste of the Kraft stuff. The ribs were cold. The brisket was old and stale and the pulled pork was cool and mushy. The potato salad was good and our server was attentive. Not likely to go back. Much better BBQ elsewhere in town!

Here in Wyoming for a business trip. Decided to stop in for lunch and yep in oil country. This little quiet place had excellent staff, great good and good prices I ordered the hot shot (buffalo chicken wrap and the opinion rings were awesome. If your visiting signs this little place!!

Just had lunch here - excellent BBQ. Recommend the driller sandwich. Fish n chips special was great, too. Prop my and pleasant servers. Will be back!!!

Great atmosphere and great food. It is out of the way but worth the travel. Trust your GPS and it will take you straight here even though it seems like there is no way a restaurant could be in the area. Great food, cheap beer and a decent selection of beers on tap

The place is pleasant enough, clean, plenty of staff. Food is standard fare, not much different from any other place, just mediocre. Both times I was served food that wasn't hot, and different meals use the same dry sliced meat, although the salad was fresh. The worst think about this place is the incessant habit of the waitstaff to refer to the (male, I presume) customer as "dear", sweetie", and "darlin". It's just creepy and is sufficient to keep me away. There are lots of better places, and I'll go there.

Awesome food great service and with an attached ball room for large parties the black gold grille has something for everyone from hot wings to fresh grilled rib eye steaks.

Just finished dinner on a monday night. Slow night for them I suppose. The waitress was attentive and very helpful. I had the ribeye and my wife had the spare ribs. Both were very good. Spent $40 for the two of us. (No alcohol). We liked the place. Don't be put off by the industrial neighborhood. It is worth a visit.

Clean restaurant and bathrooms. Great food! We had hamburgers and fries - they were delicious. We'd come here more often if we lived near. Great stop for both travelers and locals.

Legendary... First visit was last night for a burlesque and drag show hosted in their event room, had dinner before the show with friends. Food was excellent in my opinion and the service was friendly and welcoming, they did a great job handling the varying arrival times and split checks, etc, never missed a beat. The show was amazing, some truly fabulous performers. Great to see some diversity in the local live entertainment offerings, the well attended show proves Casper is ready to open up and that this venue is on board.

Performed at the arena up the road. Strips - you're better off going to the Burger King by it as they are horrible. Frozen meal Walmart strips are better. Wings - tiny, burnt, taste like dirt. Dread to know what the rest of the very limited menu is like if they can mess up chicken strips and wings this bad. Avoid it. Go to a gas station for better luck with food.
