My boys LOVE this place. I tend to agree, the food is good and the hibachi show is pretty cool too. I usually get the filet and shrimp combo and for $25, it's a ton of food. Expect to walk out with a to-go box. Fathers Day was the first time I tried one of their margaritas and it was really good. Who knew, am Asian restaurant that serves up a good margarita!

A friend of mine and I were passing nearby-- and decided on Sushi/Habatchi for dinner. Found this place based on the overall good Yelp reviews. The Habatchi was about average. The sushi left a little to be desired. One of the big keys to sushi-- is having the rice stick-- without falling apart when picking it up. This did not occur on any of our sushi (about 20 pieces). The food was overall decent-- nothing to write home about-- but the sushi sticks out in my mind as lower end -- mainly due to the rice balls not sticking. If I was ever back in this part of the country-- I MIGHT stop back by--- if there were no other options. The staff was friendly, and the service overall average.

We waited 10 minutes for the server to come to our table the first time. Then we waited another 20 minutes to get our drinks. My friend and I ordered only sushi for dinner with a table full of friends that ordered hibachi. They had completed their hibachi meal before my sushi got to the table. My friend never got his sushi. We canceled his order and had him share with me so that he would at least have something to eat. After all of this, we received no apologies. The waitress just said she didn't have any control over the sushi kitchen and it is essentially not her fault. Will not eat here again.

Excellent compared to the first time we were here. I can't wait to try the sushi! It's too late tonight

Mediocre hibachi and was somewhat entertaining. The salad was literally sitting in a pool of dressing and the miso soup tasted like chicken broth. The waitress was rude and showed little enthusiasm to be working. Nothing about this place is Japanese. Hibachi chefs are Hispanic, White waitress, Korean music playing and the food didn't taste Asian at all. Will not be back.

Mom got steak & scallop hibachi, sister got sesame chicken hibachi, other sister got shrimp hibachi, I got sushi. Hibachi. Fine. Decent. Neither significantly better nor worse than any other hibachi spot I've tried. Good "yum yum" sauce. Sushi....well, I ordered 4 rolls & a seaweed salad. I didn't even get the salad until the hibachi was 1/2 way done. One roll finally came at the end of hibachi. But the bill came came before the rest, so I told them to box it because my group was long done eating their meal. Terrible timing. Also the sushi was not really good. Stick with hibachi or you'll be waiting all meal for mediocre (at best) sushi after everyone else is ready to leave. Don't think we'll be back.

Something about sitting next to strangers that just makes me stay away lol. When we have a large group of family that can fill in all surrounding seats this place is fantastic and the white cream sauce is excellent with the steak i love this place not too loud or crowded and the chefs are highly skilled and personable youll never get bad service or food only thing is the seating it just rubs me wrong what can i say just not my thing.

They chef was funny and entertaining. All the food was really good. Big portions. The vegetables and fries rice were awesome. Chicken and scallops were slightly over cooked but still good.

Came here today and asked the waitress if we could move our seats since no one else was at the table with us. She said no problem 5 minutes later the hostess asks us to move because they wanted to seat other people told her what had happened and she insisted on us moving. Don't understand in a place where you pay almost $30 per person but can't sit where you want. The food is good as always but the customer service is always bad.

Been to Kobe numerous times and the food is always good. Unfortunately, tonight's service sucked and the manager's way of handling it was even worse. She charged me 18% gratuity for using a restaurant.com certificate even though I told her the service was horrible. Our drinks sat empty the entire meal and the manager only smirked when I complained about it. I won't be back. There's plenty of Japanese Steakhouses around the tri-state area...go to one of them instead of this one.

Food is good, but the wait time for a cooked sushi roll on an extremely slow night in the restaurant was 35 minutes! Longer than I've ever waited for sushi before. Hostesses could use some customer service training as well. The one would not acknowledge me just because she was counting bills. The other didn't speak to me until she was behind the counter. I'll do business with Sakura only from now on.

We come here about 3-4 times a weeks. Obsessive much? I think so! I am not so sure if it is the sushi or the chef that makes this place so addictive. Terry, the sushi chef is amazing! The sushi is amazing! It is a little on the pricey side, but you can't beat good sushi.

I really enjoy Kobe, the chefs are very friendly and do a great job of entertaining and the food is great! They are a tad bit expensive when it comes to the menu, but for the amount of food you get mixed with the chefs entertaining cooking routine, it's not that bad. You get the typical mix of foods at Kobe: Salad, soup, and then your main entree filled with rice, noodles, vegetables, and then your main entree. The waiting staff isn't the best, don't expect to get a refill and if you do, you might get an iced tea instead of a diet coke. (That's my only gripe) Overall, Kobe is a great restaurant, family/fun oriented with great food. Stop by if you're in the area.

This place is just a great time. We like to go on special occasions. You get a lot of food for your money so you will also have lunch the next day when you leave. The sauces and food are all delicious. The chefs are entertaining and friendly. I have never had a bad meal or experience here.

Would not be too bad if they were not closed down by the health department all the time. They ALWAYS have critical violations, and a lot of them on each inspection. Food is on the bland side. Chefs are amatuer at best.

Decided to try this place since it was next to the hotel. Seems like it is hit and miss with the Japanese Steakhouses I have been to. This one was really good. Service and food was great. I had the Lobster and Filet Mignon. That sauce they give you...was awesome. Think I had mine refilled about 3 times. Great place to take the kids also. We went on a Thursday night and it was packed the whole time.

Food is always great! Little pricey, but well worth it. Filet and lobster is awesome! Nice portions, usually plenty left over for later!
