So glad I had trouble finding Starbucks while on a business trip. I was staying at the Days Inn down the street and needed coffee before going to work. (The Starbuck inside the Target doesn't open until 8am.) My SF Raspberry Latte was very good. And I loved how fresh and tasty my egg, pepper jack cheese, pico de gallo wrap was. I wished I lived near here so I could hang out in the comfy chairs. They also serve sandwiches, flatbread 'pizza', salads, pastries, beer and wine.

Wow! I really love little places like this. I'm in town visiting family and found this place on Yelp. So glad I gave up a Starbucks trip for this local business. I had an iced caramel latte and a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. So delicious! It comes with bistro sauce, sort of a spicy tasting accent to the cheese flavors. The cafe was extremely clean and well kept with a section of waist-level tables, bar tables, then an elevated lounge area with leather chairs. Beautiful decor as well. It was a great experience all around. Only complaint is they told me I couldn't receive a military discount unless I was in uniform(I had a Department of Defense ID in hand), which sort of seems like a way for them to get out of offering a discount since this is definitely not a military area. I wish they would just come out and say they don't have one than do that. But as whole it's a wonderful place!

This is one of the best coffee shops I've been too. There is plenty of room to sit and do work or chat and relax.

Good coffee, good food, good seating, good staff.. I'd been staying at the Hampton Inn down the street a few weeks... was desperate for an alternative to the sad continental breakfast and coffee offered with my stay! I made it to the Daily Grind and was promptly rewarded for my drive to search for more. I had the tastiest triple soy lattes, delicious flatbreads for lunch, and the simplest and most desirable Signature Breakfast sandwich. Mmmmmm Canadian bacon..

If I lived here, i would totally be a regular. Prices are cheap for the food and coffee prices are normal. Portions were large and food and coffee were great! So was the service! Forget the chain restaurants across the street and hit this local gem!

Excellent service, nice atmosphere. My sister and I both ordered the egg and pepper jack wrap. Everything tastes fresh. My sister also got a peach & strawberry smoothie- delish! Would definitely recommend!

I've come to Martinsburg twice to visit my girlfriend on now two occasions. Each time I have stayed a number of weeks and spent many hours in The Daily Grind doing work on the computer. Their food is excellent. Just now I had the Egg, Tomato and Pesto Wrap. It was very good, not over-salted, warm --just delicious. Their coffee is not my most favorite coffee in the world, but it is quite good and reasonably priced. Much better than anything else available, and as good as if not better than Starbuck's. Their lattes are well balanced, tasty and satisfying. Their internet is on metered service with a 2gig download cap, which I love. This ensures fast internet for everyone. They dole out little internet access cards generously. Their confecions are all tasty, their doughnuts slightly crispy. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, nicely decorated avoiding the kitsch and tacky. I love the Daily Grind!

Whenever I am in this area I make this a morning stop. Always found good service and good Latte's. Also, this location has a quiet place to get some work done with wireless connections etc. Actually enjoy this little independent shop better than the Dunkin and Starbucks chains.

This place provided me with breakfast and coffee almost every Tuesday-Friday on a month-long business trip. I tried multiple different flavored lattes and they were all good. They make a great bacon, egg and cheese on your choice of bread. All options I tried were tasty. They do automatically put a sauce on the sandwich and it was good but I prefer my BECs without. I'm sure it would be good on a sandwich for lunch. They have some baked goods and things, and lots of donuts. I tried one with sprinkles and it was good! Not a sugar overload like the donuts I'm used to, it was more of an old-fashioned donut with frosting and sprinkles. I was a fan. Overall, great spot. If I come back to the area for work, I'll be back to the daily Grind.

The coffee here is good, but strong. The baristas are a hit and miss. Some care about getting your drink right, to others it's a job. I do like the local cafe, but it's not my first choice when 2 other Starbucks are close by.

Seriously, no Starbucks in the area left me frantic. I needed caffeine in the form of coffee, specifically espresso or a near relative. This place kept me alive for the few weeks I was there. Pastries were decent as well.

I came here once and asked for a decaf. They had to make it to order. It tasted like dishwater. Not planning to return.

The Daily Grind is a pretty nice coffee shop. Free wifi w/ purchase, nice comfy chairs for reading, good coffee and food. The food is a little on the expensive side but that's to be expected. The decor is nice but I would prefer a little more personality and a little less of a 'metro contemporary' feel, but that's just me. The hours aren't the greatest: they're only open until 9 but that's typical of coffee shops in this area. Occasionally there is live music and I've heard some talented people. It's a nice place to meet a friend on a Saturday afternoon or to surf the internet for a couple hours. Nothing too remarkable about it, but it's comfortable and the service is always GREAT.
