To be honest I've never been a big fan of Dave & Buster's, but this was my first time at this location. I went with about 20 of my family members without a reservation. We went on a Sunday afternoon and were seated quickly in the dining room. My daughter & I split the lawnmower salad and we both really enjoyed it. It had a TON of different toppings on it and was huge. I will definitely get it again when I go back. The kids obviously had a lot of fun playing games and I good time was had by all.

Grown up Chuck-E-Cheese. It can be very loud and crowded, but the specials make up for it.

My review is simply for the games and such. I ate at two D&B's and I won't try that again. I feel like the food is basically like an Applebee's or Chili's, pretty generic. I've been to D&B's all across the country. My husband and I are basically kids when it comes to our preferred recreational activities so our D&B's card is well used and I have a plethora of items from their rewards store. Its unfortunate that this is MKE's only location because I think it's run down because of it. I know it's not that old but the games are always out of order. They are often to busy that if you are at a broken machine you might as well move on cause it may take 20 mins for you to find an employee. But, alas, we love video games and prizes, and in the end you win Dave and Busters.

This is a commentary on the food only. It wasn't good. But, then again, it is exactly what you should expect. A little better than bar food & worse than TGIF or applebees, etc.

Games are really fun, food is ok at best, service is incredibly slow.

First off....I did not try any of the food here so I cannot vouch for any of that...but...I have been to this location twice in the past week while visiting family in Greenfield. Our first experience was awesome! Neither of us had ever been to a Dave & Buster's so we had no idea about the specials or anything. We happened to go during their late night Happy Hour...so half off all cocktails...AMAZING. The lady bartender was super sweet and made us great drinks. We played games for about 2 hours and then left...definitely at least a 4 star experience. Last night, however, we went for Happy Hour again, this time bringing two other people with us. The bartender wasn't very friendly and made us Long Island Iced Teas that tasted like bad lemonade. I couldn't even drink mine and got a Jack & Coke instead...which was more like Coke with a dribble of Jack. I had no choice at that point but to suck it down haha. That's why I'm giving this 3 stars. I had a blast otherwise though. Power Hour was going on so we got to play all non ticketing games for free...which are my favorites anyway! I really wish we had a better experience last night because the first time was great! We will definitely be checking out the Dave & Buster's near us when we get back to CA!

My hubby and I went on a date so we could play video games. What sucked was we were not aware you could not purchase the eat and play combo after 5 PM. Really? Happy hour starts at 5 PM. at most places, so we were wondering who in the heck instituted that rule! Either way, we sucked it up and ordered our food. The food was basic American cuisine. I had the shrimp and chicken macaroni dish, and my husband ordered a steak. I also had a dish of ice cream for dessert. After dinner, we headed over to the gaming area and played our little hearts out. A part of me wishes they could get more interesting games because it gets boring after a while. Overall, it is a good place to go with the spouse/family at the end of the week to forget about work, and become a big kid for a couple of hours.

I had the opportunity to check out this place for my 1st and 2nd time within a matter of 3 weeks. The first time I checked it out was with the Waukesha County Biz Alliance for a Networking event. The fajita/taco bar they put out was excellent and had all the toppings as well as rice and beans. The guacamole was delicious and I love guacamole. The room that they put us in had two large projectors in it and would be great for a meeting or work party. We were each given a reward card for games that was worth $10. I wasn't sure what that would get me, but it worth about 50 points. Games range from 3 - 10 points each and I had plenty of fun with that $10. I earned about 100 tickets that night and saved them knowing I would be coming back. My 2nd opportunity was for my friends birthday party. We met at the bar around 6 and unfortunately our bartender was really slow in making and processing our drink orders. She didn't know prices and I think it would have been helpful for her to have another person behind the bar. There was another bartender but he was making drinks for the servers that were in the game area or serving tables. We were able to snag him to get us another round and help her out, but I really think that she needed a little more training before put behind the bar alone. We were sat at a nice booth/table combo for our group of 10 in the dining area and our server was awesome. She talked us through the menu and was very focused on making sure we were always happy and didn't need anything. I made a meal out of an appetizer and a side and everyone was a part of the clean-plate-club this night, and I'll take that as everyone loved their food. Some of the group took advantage of the Eat & Play combo to get play cards for after dinner but I signed up for the rewards program and got $10 to play with that way. The games are a bunch of fun for all ages and ability levels. I love playing the basketball free throw game and skee-ball but my friend and I found a few other games that paid out really well. I fared much better on this round of games and earned about 900 points. I again saved these and think I might head back on a Wednesday night when the games are half price :) I would recommend this place for dinner or for fun and I think everyone can find a game that they would enjoy!

A group of us went to Dave & Busters last night and we will never go back. Sure it's a good place to bring the kids but there are probably better alternatives. The place was fairly busy but after we were all seated, it took 15 minutes for our drinks to come and almost an hour for our food. There were several empty tables so they weren't slammed. When the food came it was all cold. The shrimp skewers were tasty but cold.

I have been to D&B once and just recently with a friend on a weeknight and I really enjoyed it. We went on a Wednesday when they have a half off games special and WOW what a good deal. Walked in and I was surprised at how big it was. I was expecting something like those pizza places where you go in and it's just big and open and LOUD but it was really nice. (then again, it was a Wednesday night) Sat in the bar area at a table. Took a bit to get a server. Ordered a purple tini and my friend got a margarita. I can't speak for hers but my tini was awful. I ended up paying like $8 for a small glass of juice and didn't taste like grape at all. Very disappointed so I moved on to beer so that couldn't be screwed up. Got an app - the pretzels with cheese and they were yummy. Our main dish was a "pay and play" deal where you got the dinner and $10 in game play for $16.99. We both got the potato chip crusted chicken. OMG, sooooo gooood. Portions were big too and ended up bringing another whole chicken breast home. Now, for the server. If I had to base my visit strictly on the service, I could only give it a 1 star honestly. We had the worst server. She had no idea of anything on the menu, stood around talking instead of taking care of us - her ONLY table. Yikes! I almost had to go up to the bar to get my own drink that I watched sit there for 10 minutes while she stood 4 feet from it talking. Luckily my experience was fun so I can let go of the horrible service and give it a 4 star review. Perhaps next time I will have to update my review when I have a different server but I would hope it could only get better. Lots of fun for friends to catch up, date night for a fun night out with the family - especially on Wednesdays!

Very loud. Food isn't great, but occasionally is good. I try to only come on Wednesdays when the games are half price but then it also seems more crowded and loud. My mom's addicted though. We've saved enough tickets to get a PS3 a year or so ago and just got a wii u.

Came in on a rainy afternoon with my wife and son, her first time and his obsession since I first brought him several months ago. We sat at a bar high too and waited and waited and waited... Finally when my wife got up she encountered the bartender / hostess / front desk person (understaffing makes me itchy)... After that drinks came quickly and food was ordered. On to the games! We had a ball, the place was semi busy but we didn't wait for anything all the games were in good working order and my wife had a total blast. The kid was elated and had a great afternoon... The food: in the past I've had a guy bartender who always took the time to notify me when my food arrived, this was not the case this time. Again I blame the understaffing but the cold nachos and like warm potato poppers were disappointing and only barely touched when our lunches arrived... That is my only complaint honestly and it's simply unavoidable at times Overall, i highly recommend this place and really enjoy it when I'm here... Nice addition the area too!

Played hooky with the hubby and kids and arrived right away at 11am. Went straight for the games as we had no interest in eating (heard the food is nasty). The $80 we spent in game cards lasted two hours. That was steep but the kids enjoyed it. That is all that matters!

Oh, god, OVERSTIMULATION!! There are lights flashing, blinking, loud music, arcade noises, and lots of people around. At first I was tempted to curl in ball and shut down, but I resisted and, surprisingly, I got used to it. I visited with a group of friends and we had a good time. You buy a swipe card and fill it with however many game points you want. You buy them in increments of 5, but when you swipe your card on the game you want to play, it deducts points such as 2.7, 9.9, 4.8, etc. I'm SURE that's some mathematical flimflam to always favor the house. Save up the tickets you "win" to trade them in for chintzy plastic junk from China. I liked the oldie but goodie, Whack-a-mole, because I like to HIT STUFF. Smashy, smashy. I loved seeing 7 year olds totally trounce us oldsters at adjacent basketball hoop games. How are they so good?! I didn't try the food, and quite frankly, never would. Overall, the experience was a cheesy and fun way to spend a weekend night.

This place hurt my brain. I've never been to a dave and busters before and I went with my girlfriend and some of her friends for the first time last night. It's been 12 hours since we left and my head is still buzzing. The girls had fun here but it was too much like a chucky cheese for grown ups for my taste.

Oh dear. Obviously, it is very loud and has very bright flashing lights. Everywhere. Talk about your sensory overload. I was here for my company's holiday party--lunch, award ceremony, and games. Lunch was not very good. The chicken was so bland and dry, I couldn't finish my one little piece. The carrots were not fully cooked so were still nice and crunchy. The showroom we were in was pretty nice. Thankfully, it was quite soundproofed from the game room, and it had projectors on both ends so everyone could see the presentations. We did one round of team competition, and it just felt like it was not explained very well who was doing what where, but we made it through. Then it was a few hours of free game play, where I pulled up a stool to "Super Trivia" and burned through my points there. I see the appeal here, but I just can't imagine returning to Dave & Buster's of my own volition.

I'm sorry, but I like going to Dave & Buster's. Yea the food isn't 5 stars. That's not the draw here people, get a clue. You go for playing video games and drinks. And if you're hungry, they have food. It's a place where a kid can be a kid and an adult can be a kid. They have tickets like Chuck E Cheese. That's the coolest thing I remember when I was a kid was going shopping with my winnings! :) FUN Times! No kids after 9pm. I like that, too.

I think a lot of the complaints this place gets on yelp are definitely well founded. Overall, the service is pretty average, it's overpriced, and it's a sensory overload. However , I was pleasantly surprised with how much fun we had. We sat down to first eat since no one really seated us. We also asked another table if we could borrow their menus. Finally the server came and took our orders. Everyone is right about the food taking forever to come out- it was probably a good 40-45 minutes. I ordered the boss chicken club with a side of Mac and cheese and was pleased with it. After dinner we got 120 points to play games. The games were fun as hell and the tickets coming out are satisfying. I probably blew a good 40 points on whipping balls at clowns. We played around 12 different games and there were only a few that I didn't enjoy. The gift shop is pretty bland, not a ton of options but I wasn't expecting much. Overall I'd say I had a fun evening and will be back.

Great place! Servers are always friendly and attentive. The games are tons of fun! The only reason I didnt give a full 5* rating is because of the prices. The food is good but its somewhat like applebee's, nothing too special, and the prices are a bit more than that of an applebees. As the games are fun, you dont get the greatest of prizes for what you spend your money on to earn tickets. Other than that, its an all over fun place to splurge a little.

Food is gross. Ordered an 8oz char grilled sirloin steak medium well. It came out dry as a bone super well done. Then they tried making me pay full price for the meal I didn't eat. Portion of potatoes super small. Won't come back.

I 'm a big fan of Dave & Busters! I've been here during the week and on weekends. It gets prettycrowded on weekends and there are a lot of kids in there, but it never bothers me. Most people are respectful of the games. If you wait close by a game you want to play people will allow you to play once they are finished. The kicker for this place is going on WEDNESDAY. It is half off all games. Not only is it half off games but there usually isn't many people there. You can move as you please and have a great time. The food at this place is average. Some good things to eat but you don't go there for top notch food anyway. The bar has an okay selection, not enough top of the line options (Ciroc mainly), but enough to have some fun. They have pool there as a bonus. It has all you need to have fun with friends. Great place if you still young at heart and want to have a great time.

I want to give this location 3.5 stars, but since that's not an option, I'll give the benefit and round up. So let's get started. It has it's own parking lot and you don't have to pay for parking. Despite it not showing on the mobile site when you look up this location, they do have a late night happy hour where 95% of the drinks are 1/2 priced, and some of appetizers are discounted as well. Not sure if this is normal or just the day I was there, but there was a local police officer posted there which kinda adds a feeling of safety that if someone was to act unruly, or run out or a tab, or simply leave too drunk, there would be someone there to attempt to stop it. The bartenders were extremely friendly and efficient despite going through periods of being swamped. The food was fine. Not something to rave about, but definitely keeping with standards of other Dave and Busters locations. The game selection wasn't as large as other locations, but it wasn't bad. All the games worked, it was easy recharging my card, easy at the ticket redemption area. The location was clean, including the exceptionally clean restroom. It's probably due for a renovation soon and could use an exterior makeover as well as some inside changes, but it definitely got the job done.

Food is bar fare, no more. Drinks are costly. The crowd is undesirable to say the least and the staff is terrible at managing the misbehaving crowd. The place is open to kids until 10pm, mind you! Not a safe or fun place to visit! The machines were constantly broken too.

Not a great visit. We came for "10 days of Tosa" and the server looked at us like we had three heads when we mentioned it. Then, very slow service in spite of there being hardly anyone in the restaurant. Cheesesteak was tasty, but not very warm. Took forever to get our check as well and there were several staff standing around and looking bored.

This place is what you will call an adult "Chucky Cheese" yet they still let kids in, at all hours - the place smelled like beer. Hmm, after two hours of being here, I wanted to cut my head off there's only so many times that I could play air hockey, shoot zombies, skee ball and dance dance revolution. On Wednesdays, 50% off all games. I did end up scoring a couple of coupons. Never again.

Have been sitting in a booth for 25 minutes with a 4 & 5 year old and have not even been served a beverage yet. It's now 29 minutes and the server just brought the drinks and an ice cold plate of nachos. I'm not sticking around to find out how much crappier this experience can get. What an incredible waste of time.

I wish I could do no starts! First my family and I came here on 1/11/14 and my wife ordered a steak, I ordered a double cheeseburger, kids got Mac and cheese and chicken strips and fries. I'm going to back up for a second, when we first sat down it 15 mins for someone to even talk to us and when they did it was too ask if anyone greeted us. Five mins after that they came took our order brought or drinks and brought our food and this was the beginning of the end. My wife asked for a med steak and it came out over cooked and dry we brought it right up to their attention and they offered us a free dessert. My wife turned it down and gave back her steak because it was dry over cooked and flavorless. My burger was nasty also, it was greasy, flavorless, and just plain disgusting. My child who ordered the chicken fingers thought those were nasty, so I tasted them and they too were flavorless and just tasted like flour. Shockingly she was given more fries than I was. Once we received the check I noticed that we were not discounted for the nasty steak that wasn't eaten. So I called for another manager to fix the bill. Long story short we ended up having top go eat something else because none of us finished our meals.

My first review was so-so because of the bad experience. But it hasn't stopped me from coming back. I have to say maybe I was wrong... they do have great service. I've been going on weekdays/weeknights. Less crowed and a better experience. We love coming here on half off wednesdays. Good for kids (before 10pm). And when we have no kids... we come after 9pm for the unlimited game play.

This was way cooler ten years ago when I'd go to Dave & Busters in a different city with a huge group of friends and just get absolulely hammered. We'd get to do video game drunken driving on motorcycles, throw skeet balls waaaay too hard, and had a blast. With all of these memories, I was excited when Dave & Busters opened up shop in Milwaukee. I went with some friends - this time, during the afternoon - not late at night. The food was like applebees/applebees plus. Video games seemed to get pricey and winning a stuffed bear at skeet ball isn't nearly as rewarding when you're sober. If you're still at a place in life where the idea of a double digit number of drinks in one night sounds like a good time - then ignore my review - you'll probably love Dave & Busters. If you're not at that place anymore, keep on moving - sadly, nothing for you to see here.

I visited early on a Saturday with a big party. We were treated very well. The waiter came around the games and told everyone in our party when our food was ready. The food was good. Top of the line for a chain which means only okay at most of my favorite restaurants. Drink selection was a little lacking. I also think it would be better if the building was bigger. Once it started getting crowded it was hard to get on the games. Overall though it was a good experience.

I went to Dave and Buster's in Wauwatosa on March 26, 2010 for a friend's birthday party. We planned to eat around 8:00PM, so a few our our large (13 people) group got there early (around 7PM) to put our name on the list for a table. We didn't even sit down to eat until 10:30PM! Food was OK, definitely not worth going back for, in my opinion. My experience included several other inconsistencies throughout the night - which for now, I'm just going to attribute to the place being new and the employees maybe not being current with the policies and/or making up their own rules. 1.) Since it was my friend's birthday, I had baked her a cake and brought it in with my. I initially thought this might be a problem, since some restaurants don't allow you to bring in your own dessert. Well, there are security guards allowing you in the front door (needing to check ID's to be sure you're 25...if you're under 25, you have to be accompanied by someone 25 and older), and the security guard I talked to had no problem allowing me in with my homemade cake. He actually joked that he wanted some! So once we realized we weren't going to be seated for a while, I wanted to check my coat in at the coat check so I could go play games. I asked if I could also leave my cake (it was in a metal cake pan with a metal cover) behind the desk or in the coat check. The girls at the counter basically said it was a safety hazard to have the cake just sitting on the floor because people walk in there all the time. OK, that's legit. How about if I pay $1 and hang the bag my cake is in on a coat hanger? No, can't do that...there are so many people going in and out of the closet (security guards, employees, etc.) that it could get damaged or stolen. So I said "So basically you're suggested I shouldn't put my coat in the coat check either because it's not safe and might get stolen?" Really dumb. Needless to say, I ended up carrying my coat and cake around with me the whole night. 2.) To play the games (which are fun by the way!) you have to have a points card which electronically tracks your points. My fiancee bought us each $25 worth of points, which adds up to 135 points for $25...and each game requires a different number of points to play. OK, sounds reasonable...BUT the first time you buy your card, you have to pay a $2 activation fee PER CARD to get it to work. So we ended up spending, in this case, $54 between the two of us just to play the games. On the plus side, if you don't lose your card between visits - and you even WANT to come back to this place! - you can reload the same card with more points and not pay the activation fee again. 3.) I'm 25 years old. My fiancee is 25 years old. He went to the bar to order us some drinks - a gin and tonic (tall) for himself, and a Miller Lite for me. Well, apparently, a.) They don't serve tall drinks, and b.) one person cannot order two drinks. I literally had to come to the bar with him to take my drink from the bar. Ridiculous. Additionally, after a little "research" and talking to another bartender...yes, they do serve TALL drinks...apparently only from certain bartenders, though...and other couples in our group were able to buy drinks for their significant others without a problem. So either we got a bartender trying to serve more and make more in tips....or they just don't have consistent rules. 4.) While standing and waiting at the check-in desk for our table (we were called by "accident" initially, but it turns out they had buzzed the wrong group), I noticed the shift manager or store manager come out of his office. I stopped him as he passed by and asked for a comment card to fill out. I work in customer service, and I guess this might have raised a few red flags for me - a customer (who hasn't even eaten yet - evident by the fact that I was standing there waiting for my table) ALREADY has a complaint (or in this case, several). Instead, he directed me to the Dave and Buster website or Facebook page. Overall, the games were pretty fun to play...you earn tickets that you can "buy" goofy gift shop items at the end of the night with. One nice thing, instead of carrying all your tickets around with you, you can "redeem" them and accumulate the ticket value on your points card. In theory, you could save up visit after visit and buy some of the really big (and for the normal visitor, unattainable) items instead of using your tickets on the dinky stuff you don't really want anyhow. Since I had a feeling we weren't coming back, we did redeem our tickets - I got a ring pop and my fiancee got a stuffed monkey animal. We still have points on our cards, and I know for sure I won't be going back anytime soon...maybe I'll try again in a year or two to see if they are able to get things better organized.

If you go to their website, you can get $10 of free game tokens per person. That makes the $25 package only $15. That lasts for about an hour or so on the game floor. The game center isn't that big... only about the size of a large Chuck E' Cheese. Don't expect too much here. This is the standard for the Dave & Buster's chain. What makes this site different that Dave & Buster's in Cleveland that dined at only a week earlier is the food. In Cleveland, the food was awesome, and it made it worth the trip, even with a lackluster gaming area. Here? Nope. Forget about it. The steak was hard to find in all of the sauce. Everything was completely overseasoned. The waiter? Impossible to find. Need extra napkins? Go to the bathroom to wash your hands. Need a glass of soda? Go the bathroom to fill up with water... whatever you do, don't wait for the servers. If you did, I'm quite sure that you would wither away into dust before they came around. We came here on a Sunday night, and it was completely empty. In Cleveland, on a Saturday night, everybody in town was there, in all of their drunken glory. Here, we had the whole place to ourselves. If you do come, stop by on an off-night like Sunday.

First impressions here: This place is loud! This place is Bizay!! Lots of people out here playing games tonight! Fun modern games with even some that my 3-year old can play. Prizes are good too. So often these places that do games/prizes hardly make it worth putting any money down. This place is the opposite. We'll be back, but probably on another day of the week. Saturday was just a zoo. We didn't eat either, but the food looked prett good.

Our group of 12 arrived at 7 p.m. and were told it would be a half hour wait to be seated despite the dining area being more than half empty. 45 minutes later I started pressing the issue with the hostess. She said there weren't any tables available that could fit our party and it would be another half hour. Looking past her, the dining area was still mostly empty, all that had to be done was a few tables moved together. By this time members of our party were getting grumpy and talking about going elsewhere because of a lack of service and food. 15 minutes later, after a total of an hour of waiting, we were finally seated at a set of tables that had been empty since we had arrived. There were un-bussed tables near us and our table was clearly not set, and there was glop on the bench seat which our party avoided sitting in. I immediately asked for more silverware as there were only 4 sets for our group of 12. It took 2 more requests for silverware before we finally got it and it wasn't provided until 10 minutes after we got our food (by which point our party had started eating their entrees bare handed). My fried fish was overcooked and dry on the outside and chips were soggy. My wife's grilled salmon was overly greasy and the vegetables were under-seasoned. No salt or pepper was available or offered. Even once we had our food, service was sub standard. Nobody checked our water without us initiating. Our entire party was continually requesting it from servers and waiters whenever they passed. When fresh glasses of water were supplied, empties were not removed. We suggested a pitcher which never came. To top it off, my wife found a dried piece of food residue on the inside of her water glass... After sitting for 45 minutes our server started clearing our dishes but never asked if we would like anything else or offered our bill until I finally requested a check. From the bar, the mixed drinks took excessively long to make and while the ingredients were all there they were not mixed! (4 minutes for a mojito? I can make one at home, harvesting the fresh mint from my garden in less time!) In summary: - Unprofessionally slow seating & terrible service - I personally asked for silverware 3 times before getting it (don't know how many other group members asked) and our party started eating bare handed while we waited for it. - Fish was overcooked and dry. Potato chips were soggy. - "mixed" drinks weren't mixed - Water , food, and drink service were unreasonably slow - Had to call the server over to request the check - cup of water had debris and dried residue on it. This was a Friday night when I would expect this type of place to be full (and the other one I've been to in Milpitas, CA would be packed), and service to be on the ball, the best they offer. This was my wife's first visit to a Dave & Buster's and my first visit at this location. Needless to say, we left with very negative impressions. As I write this even the website for that particular location is down so I cannot send the complaint directly to them.

I generally like Dave and Buster's, but this was a first time at this location. We received a warm greeting from the lady at the desk and told us to eat before playing games to get the packages. Our waitress seemed preoccupied, perhaps an off day. She knew the products and suggested a few favorites. The food was alright - not amazing but definitely not bad. The orders came out a bit wrong (cheese when lactose intolerant party member requested none) but not the end of the world - easily picked off. The one thing I didn't kind was everything was so sticky! Booth, table, menus, etc... The game area was fun. Price aside it was a good time. Service was quite slow however. Several games ran out if tickets and it took half a baseball inning to get someone to come over (could see the TV's in the bar). One have we just waked away from because it took so long - we just wanted to play. There were also random cleaning chemicals and alcoholic drinks just laying around on some games for a few hours. Seemed odd. Overall I would choose a different arcade before here, but I wouldn't refuse to come again.

Went last night in a group of 9 coworkers (all traveling) for dinner after a long day of team meetings. Arrived at 7:45 and they weren't busy at all. We had our drink order taken by 8. Our drinks did not arrive until 8:30! We were all tired and very hungry and our server did not seem to care, she just laughed and said she was tired and hungry too. Food actually came out pretty quickly once we finally ordered at just before 9:00. My potato skins had very little cheese or bacon on half of them. They tasted OK but I honestly think that's because I was ravenous. Overall, decent food but crappy service that was WAY too slow... especially with it not being busy.

Although the dining room was pretty empty, our food took forever! First our appetizers took about 30 mins (calamari and chilli) - chilli was not a "bowl" btw, more like a small cup thrown into a dish that was tasty but not hot in temperature! And no saltine or oyster crackers; darn! :'( Definitely not $6 worth. Then our entrees felt like an eternity! My friend had to wait an additional 15-20 minutes because the server put the wrong entree in and he had to wait for what he ordered to be made. To top it off, when his food arrived, he found some weird plastic piece of something after literally two bites. What a turn off! I'm surprised he was so nonchalant about it because I know he was pissed. Me and my other friends were already done eating and cashed out by the time his entree came for the third time! Food was nothing to write home about. I had some barbeque chicken dish that was very meh. Broccoli extremely overcooked, loaded mash was like something out of a container in the refrigerated section and chicken was cold although we were told that the chicken was the last to be finished cooking. (What the heck?) My daughter's mac and cheese was a lukewarm cup of Kraft's boxed. Save your $5 and don't order that for your kids. They could've at least used Velveeta if they were going to go the boxed method. Ugh. I guess those eat and play combos really aren't a deal considering the shitty food that comes with it. Our server was very friendly but disappointingly inattentive. There were several times where we were literally just sitting there waiting to get water, or her attention or our checks. The reason why I gave a 2 star instead of a 1 is because my daughter enjoys the games. I'll have dinner elsewhere the next time my kid begs me to return to this place again.

Most of the staff and clientele are cool. That's it. Bad layout, junk options for NA beer, they make you pay for coat check but assume no responsibility. I'm trying to play games here while getting anywhere between 48 and 97 cents change with every drink. This place must make a killing on sweeping the floor. Learn how to round so sales tax doesn't punish your customers. So, I wrote that part at the bar while awaiting a table. It got worse so I'm updating. Upon being seated, the service was terrible. People started getting up and walking 200 feet to the bar and ordering drinks rather than waiting for table service. I looked around and realized that they were not even that busy. As a vegetarian, I can't recommend anything on the menu. The guacamole was brown upon arrival and they don't even give you tortilla chips, just potato. There was one funny moment of miscommunication that seriously merits a menu update: They have two salads, the SWEET Apple Pecan Salad and the CRISP Apple Pecan Salad. One has chicken and one does not. Seriously, marketing department? Did you do any research before naming these things? Needless to say, I asked for an Apple Pecan Salad and was brought the one with chicken. Not the server's fault, just a miscommunication that was worth the laugh, but come on. I also greatly dislike the men's room. I understand that there are children here, but you don't need to mount all three urinals at 8 inches off the ground so grown men have to splash on their legs. There are two sinks but only one towel dispenser, poorly placed and the cause of much congestion among people attempting to leave and enter. And then there's the speaker for announcing tables are ready, which is set to the same volume as the speakers on the gaming floor, blowing out eardrums left and right. All that said, it's a great place for people watching. My wife summed it up: "It's 11 o'clock at night in Tosa. I see a farmer, a diva, and a suburban couple feeding a baby. Where are we?"

This place has great food and great arcade. They add new games every month! They have great prizes in the arcade shop.

Something isn't quite right here. I've been to other D&B's in the country. This one have crappy food and isn't the cleanest. When we were there the games seemed to be working fine and the service was fine. My biggest issue? The drama. There is a bunch of hoods in there and the cops almost live in there dealing with the crap that goes on. Get some security and keep the trash out.

This was our first time here. At first it was a little intimidating but the staff really helped us out with what "plan" would work for what we wanted to do. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. It didn't take us long to start enjoying ourselves and having fun.

I have been to Dave & Buster's a few times now, and I would say that it is similar to a Chuck E Cheese. The only real difference between the two places are the things that are geared towards adults, such as the bar and the food. The staff is generally nice, and the food is decent. If you just want to eat and not play any of the games, you can order only food. Otherwise, they have Eat & Play combos. You can choose from a select menu of entrees and get your meal and a $10 power game card for anywhere from $16.99-21.99 You have the option to double the game card value for anywhere from $24.99-29.99. The Eat & Play combos are available from open to close Sun-Thurs and until 5pm on Fri and Sat. Wednesdays are 1/2 price game night. One thing I don't like is the fact that they charge you $1 to check your coat. I feel that with what you're already spending there, the coat check should be free.

My Husband and I visit once a week for our weekly date night. Every time we go in we have problems with both the management and check-in staff. We have the Charger App on our phones and always use the "buy $20 get $20 for free" coupon. We get to the counter and the girls at the desk are always rude, have no idea what they are doing and never listens to what we say. (I.e we pay separate and we tell the girl we are paying separate, but she takes my husbands $40 and applies it to the entire bill, then gives us an attitude when we tell her that's wrong) They always have to call a manager to help. You think that solves the problem? NO, the manager comes and he has no clue what he is doing either and also has an attitude. So afterward a 25 minute wait to buy $40 of game play plus $6 supercharge we can finally play. But then are so frustrated that we can't even enjoy our night. So to anyone who wants to go... Don't waste your time!

If I could give it less than a star I would. Worst servers ever. Terrible food. Felt like it was microwaved. The salad had nothing on it. Just awful

Screw Dave and Buster's! First time we go there, a private party took up the whole restaurant and we could not go in the place. They ruined a family night and left my brother crying. Never going there again. Also the website did not indicate that this party was going on. Finally, the parking attendant was very rude to us. A terrible first impression.

I finally won the giant stuffed gorilla. Dreams do come true. I know some people aren't into D & B's but I still like 'em. Sometimes I just want to play arcarde games, ok? I'm on their email list and often get emails for buy $20 of play, get $20 free, which makes playing games much more reasonable. Half price Wednesday nights are also a cheaper way to play. Combine that with a coupon and wham, you're gonna get a whole lotta games for your buck. The food here is subpar. Don't even bother. Go somewhere else for dinner and then come play. Kids have to leave by 10pm (or 9?) and then the place gets much less busy. Next thing I'm saving my tickets for- the Big Bang Clue game :) Don't hate.

Okay, so this was my first Dave and Buster's experience. I'm calling it "meh" because it's sensory overload. It's like Las Vegas for kids (seriously, some kids were on the Wheel of Fortune games for an hour getting tickets). Too much noise, flashing lights, and screaming going on. So it's not exactly my scene which is why I'm giving it two stars. Nothing horrible happened and I had a good time, I just don't know if there's a need to go back. The food was okay. It's pretty much chain restaurant food, not terribly different than a Chili's or TGIF. Not cheap but if you're smart you can get a decent meal for about $12 a person. I had the fish and chips and they were quite good. The cod was moist and the breading wasn't too heavy. The Parmesan Yukon Gold chips were good. The dipping sauce (a malt vinegar aioli, I think) was also very good. Everyone was pleasant, the place was clean (although I did find myself wondering how often the games were cleaned because some of the kids on floor were decidedly sick). In summation, not my kind of place but it's not terrible.

Awe man I love this place. I just hate the fact that I have to spend so much money to feel satisfied. I earned so many tickets and lost my card,,, they have no way or tracking my previous tickets. This made me really sad. We usually order a couple drinks from the bar and max out on games. But it felt like the business was happy we lost our game card after a couple weeks. :( Jerks.

Games are WAY over priced. The food is usually really good, but the service is lacking. My experience is that they are slow, and often never check back on you. A good tip though, be sure to check for faulty prize redemption games. I found one some time ago and ended up winning a ton!( Wii, PS3, multiple games, RC choppers, and much more.) Also, the bar was extremely annoying. Not sure if they changed the rules yet, but.. They limit the number of drinks one person can buy at a time. No buying friends drinks that might be playing games. And they also charge an odd amount for a drink. Why are they screwing around with pennies and nickels when giving me change? Save time and money, go to chuck e cheese. Games are only 33 cents or so there. Here, you can pay $2-3 a game or more.

No photo's on this review-I think the photos that are already in Yelp are pretty accurate. Dave & Buster's a little different on the burger scene. If you haven't been to D&B's sort of like a Red Robin/Sportsbar/Adult Chuck E'Cheese. Plenty of TV's to watch sports, Bar for many different tastes and Burgers with a bit of a upscale flair. I was interested in the D&B's on Mayfair Rd, since it's been years since I visited one last in the Denver area. It was close to the same experience. Food was good, service was quick only drawback was a little loud due to the bar/games close to the dine-in area. Which makes it hard to carry on a conversation. Free wi-fi. Prices are in the $8.95 cheeseburger range. I would go again, but more of a once in a while stop-not a regular.

I was wavering between a two and a three, but since they fell short on pretty much everything I gave them a two. I used to really love D&B's since the first time I visited in Philadelphia in early 2001. It seems like every year they got worse and I eventually stopped making them a stop on my frequent trips to Illinois. Well, my birthday rolled around and I wanted to pop some quarters in a machine and bang out some classic video games. I really wanted to go to Nickel City in Northbrook Illinois since they have a WWF Wrestlefest machine, but I really wanted to eat dinner here in town. So I settled and tried to play here. Bad idea. If you have a barcade that's catering to adults, wouldn't it be smart to have some classic old school games? I just turned 35, I'm probably still in your target demographic. I want to play Marvel vs. Capcom 2, WWF Wrestlefest, Rampage, Bad Dudes, Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Cruisin USA, Primal Rage, Mortal Kombat 2, X-Men, The Simpsons, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, pole Position, Rush N Attack, Ivan Stewarts Super Off Road, Paperboy, Galaga or even that goofy baseball pinball machine that would spit out crappy Topps common cards every time you score a run. Yet all you can offer me is twenty seated driving games that seem the same but all have different titles, twenty skeeball machines, another thirty "press the button, and if it lands here we will give you a shitload of tickets" machine, a couple odds and ends that aren't worth mentioning and a Ms. PAC Man machine that wasn't even turned on. How about some variety? I came in because you get free tokens on your birthday, but I failed to realize you have to log in your card online before you can take advantage of this (why can't they just log my card in here?). I was lucky I had just signed up for their email club, so I did have another coupon on me for some free tokens. I did play a ton of skeeball, enough were I won a bucket full of tickets, and I was happy to find really cool prizes, especially since they had licensed stuff like The Walking Dead, DC Comics and Marvel Comics. I walked out happy with a Batman Superfriends Plush. The food is crap here. We just wanted something to snack on, so we got the appetizer trio. How can chicken be so dry yet so greasy? Everything else tasted like cheap microwaveable food you'd buy from Walmart. Treat this place like the supermarket- don't come here hungry. I didn't enjoy the limited beer options, would it hurt to get a couple microbrews in the rotation, hell even some New Glarus or Lenie's? I did jump into a Coronarita, and it was exactly what was promised- a margarita with a tiny bottle of Corona stuck upside down in it. It was pretty good. I sipped the Margarita part, and towards the end I pulled up the bottle to dump the Corona in the glass since the majority of it stayed in the bottle. It was pretty much a Margarita with a beer chaser. The waitress was really nice to. I would have probably ordered more if she showed her face more often, but still she was helpful when she was around. I asked her some questions about the birthday club, and when my wife clued her in that it was my birthday (go shorty), she was kind enough to offer me some cake. Milwaukee, get a proper barcade already! This place isn't cutting it!

Had my daughters birthday here last weekend because she wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese but that wasn't happening lol. Booking was super easy because you have the option to do it online. We picked the best package at $24.99 per kid ( paid for 10 kids) and after fees, add ons, tip, and tax the total came out to around $350 and you pay 50% to reserve. When we arrived the day of her party the Managers were welcoming and thanked me for having her party there ( they also tried getting me to upgrade with some add ons but I didn't). I got the kids game cards and handed them out. Here's where we ran into some issues... - The waitress was sweet but had a difficult time waiting on our party of about 20-25 people. We asked her to take the adults orders and she took 1 tables order about every 30 minutes. - Food took FOREVER to come out. It was good but the portions were small and we waited about 45 minutes for each tables food ( we had 3 tables with 4 people max at each). By the time the last table received their food we were supposed to be leaving the area because of the 2 hour limit. Those two things are my only complaints. They allowed us to stay longer than we were supposed to which we really appreciated. All in all everyone had a great time and enjoyed their food and my daughter has asked for a party there every year.

Awful first experience at D&B! We wanted to eat dinner when we first arrived and we even had reservations, but we were told to wait even though most of the tables in the dining area were totally empty! We finally sat down about an hour and half later. When our food finally arrived, it was greasy and soggy. We had to ask for silverware and water repeatedly so there was virtually no service! This was for my sister in law's birthday party so we felt very embarrassed for her and since she and her husband didn't complain, we couldn't complain in front of them for risk of ruining her party. Extremely disappointing experience both food- and service-wise!
