Jesus this place is expensive.....don't come when there isn't a special on wings or happy hour. Decent food, my son loves it, but I prefer Rounding Third on Bluemound or Spitfires on State for my wing fix......Really don't care for the beer selection either. Not much in the way of craft. Gave an extra star for the fact that they give your kid a tablet to play with. I come here for him really....

Been here 3 times, 2 before the reno and this time after. All three times the service have been sub-par if not outright nonexistent. Maybe it's just my luck of servers, but waiting 20+ min for a drink only to have them comeback and tell you they ran out of an ingredient afterwards is... Well you can fill in the rest. I'm still waiting on my drink and it's been 30 min since I ordered my second round. I can't understand why service is so poor when there are always at least 2-3 servers standing around. Food is decent Environment is good to watch a game ** update, just got my drink after 32 min ***update #2: after 8 min into finally enjoying my drink, server asked us if we wanted the bill. well I was going to get a beer once I finished my drink, but guess not note... There's still 13 min in the last quarter of the game which is enough time for at least another round of drinks. and we just finished a platter. Also, only a third of the place is filled, so I can't understand why our server is rushing us to leave.

Update I came back and had 3 more visits to see half of the staff turn over since the transition at the end of October 2012 from franchise to Corporate. Sad to find out many have left. It was nice to see some familiar faces still around, it keeps me coming back. I'm hoping the new staff can fill the gaps, as this is still a fun place to go for trivia. Some things that changed were new boxes for trivia new juke box no more dart board some draft beers are new. Two beers of the month Tip: look for the swing tags as they will be happy hour priced. they now have 16 types of sauces and 5 dry rub seasonings. The competition for NTN Buzztime is the best on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday nights. The staff here are open to adjusting channels to make customers happy.

I'm a fan of wings, BWs is always good enough while rarely a truly good wing. Now onto this location. I simply say avoid it. The service is sub-par occasionally boarding on terrible. They seem to be either empty or over crowded depending on time of day

Great staff especially at the bar. Very attentive & they always remember my favorite beer when I first arrive. Food is good considering the value. They offer an abundance of sauces or rubs to choose from for the wings. I like the Asian Zing. Definitely not a fan of blazin', one round of pain was enough. Best place in town for NTN trivia. Great place for sports on TV as well, always a good crowd for Wisconsin games.

I have eaten at a number of Buffalo Wild Wings - the one in Pewaukee, the one in Brookfield and this one being in the general neighborhood. This one has by far been the poorest experience. Wait staff is inattentive and poorly trained. I would rather they focus on getting the order right and less on constantly refilling drinks. Wings are average at best and the overall experience leaves a lot to be desired. I go there because its convenient lunch time location. I would avoid it otherwise.

WHY: I had never been to a Buffalo Wild Wings before, honest. My wife suggested we go there for lunch. ORDERED: Small Boneless Wings with Mango Habanero and Thai Curry sauces, Samuel Adams OctoberFest TASTED: I've never had a chicken wing so I didn't know what to expect. The boneless wings reminded me of a McDonald's McNugget with big boy sauce options. They were good, surprisingly not greasy (are they baked?). The Mango Habanero sauce was obviously pretty spicy, that's where the lager came to the rescue. DECOR/SERVICE: Really barebones (see what I did there), I was expecting a man cave version of a Chili's or similar chain. It's more small town sports bar with required framed Packers, Brewers and Bucks memorabilia. There were countless TVs with college football games playing, more than the nearby Best Buy. The service was just okay. The manager did stop by and asked how our visit was. Receipt had a phone survey, isn't that the norm now!? VERDICT: I think I'd visit Buffalo Wild Wings for an appetizer and beer but the thought of eating (what's basically) state fair food over the course of a three hour sports contest makes me ill. ATM on site, which is useful for paying sports bets?

ok first thing i noticed right when i walked in IT WAS MESSY. I don't want to walk in a place and see this. So anyways i go in the place and they seat me. I noticed there was not a lot of servers. My sever came and she was pretty nice. I ordered 12 Mild wings (with bones in them). While i was waiting i noticed that there was trivia so i asked if i could play along and it was only fun for a minute. I was wondering where my food was because it was like 1 hour and there were only a few people and I MEAN FEW! When i was talking earlier about the trash i thought i was going to throw up because the trash was everywhere. Finally my food came and there was like no sauce on it. it like wouldn't even get on me cause it was so light sauced. I asked my server if i could have more sauce and then she started acting like we just just in a fight. The wings did taste good so thats were i added the two stars. When i was done eating i thought i would skip dessert. I got my check and it was almost like 30 dollars for that! Ok i been to other buffalo wild wings and its been lower. I thought i was almost going to punch somebody wow i was so mad. This is why i haven't been there sense because of that thank you for reading and GOODNIGHT! XD

The staff is always very outgoing and friendly. The wings are great. I just wonder where they get those miniature chickens with their tiny wings. I'd pay more for larger wings.

Every time we come here, we are greeted by friendly staff with a smile. The food always comes out fast and hot! Staff always comes back to check in, but never in a bothersome way. The management is doing a great job at this location! Love the wings and service!

Yep, another review of a chain. Ah well, deal with it! Buffalo Wild Wings is not a regular "pick" in my dining choices, but when I do not want to venture into one of the many corner neighborhood bars and take my chances with an unknown menu or fanbase...when I simply want to grub on decently priced "wings" (I prefer the boneless non-wing substance they serve) while watching men smash into one other like drunken goats on a field (American football), then I will pick BWW. It is also seemingly the only place in America where you can dine/watch with plenty of fans whose rooting interests are varied and different kinds of crazy. The service at this location is top-notch. Friendly, quick, and they do not mind if you wait a while to order -- great, because I feel guilty eating wings then sticking around for the next 2 hours watching the game. I was surprised to find this location also had a decent selection of local brews on tap as well (Lakefront, MBC, etc). My experiences with other appetizers (mozz sticks, deep fried mushrooms) haven't been fantastic. But the boneless wings are usually solid and the new jalapeno sauce with lime is on point! Again, not a regular diner here -- I need to find a local place that has great wings and does not front when it is apparent I am "not here for the Packers" -- I have been stonewalled (service, attitude) by too many places for not "backing the Pack." When I want to watch my beloved Colts on a non (locally) televised game, I will go here and know there will be a healthy contingent of "other" fans, and I can go without being razzed for rooting for my hometown team. Case in point: at this location, I have seen & pleasantly interacted with fans of the Raiders, Vikings, Bengals, Lions, Bears, Colts, etc. My only gripe is the deafening techno music that sometimes rings through instead of having sound from multiple games depending on your seating location. Solid A-OK from me, folks. Now bring me another 6 garlic parmesan wings, STAT.

Bartenders need to do a better job of paying attention to customers and not each other. Several times they walked by without asking if we needed anything and I had to flag them down to have my beer refilled although it was sitting at the edge of the bar empty for them to notice. The bar was not busy and there were two bartenders working. They both were horrible. Also after we were done eating the bartender came down to ask how the food was. Really..dude we are all done now.

Great to hang out with friends. I love energies in this place. I watch a lot of sports so this place is great for people who like watching sports. Also great wings as well.

I wanted to watch some football on a Sunday afternoon and figured that this was the place to do it. Boy, was I wrong. The bar stools are the most uncomfortable stools ever. The bartender was so annoying and after my food was delivered, she basically ignored me. My water and soda glass were empty for long periods of time and I seriuosly do not know what she was doing since it wasn't that crowded. I tried the boneless wings and I think I'll stick to the traditonal ones from now on. They were ok and not nearly as good as other boneless wings that I have had in the past. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and it came out with no buffalo sauce which sort of defeats the purpose of a bufaflo chicken sandwich. I got so annoyed with everything that I left at half time of the frist round of games and went back to my hotel to watch the remainder of the nationally televised games. That should tell you something in itself in that I opted for a mediocre tv set in a hotel room instead of mulitple tv sets showing all of the games at this place. Oy vey! Footballf fans: look elsewhere. You won't see me back at this location anytime soon.

We like: Asian Zing Medium and Mild and our fave the lemon pepper seaoning(it's a dry sprinkled on seasoning which we weren't expecting but it's so good we now buy it in the bottle and use it at home on porkchops and chicken salad etc etc. SO GOOD. atmoshere and service is just ok.... but it's worth the food. prices are reasonable. we get the boneless but the bone in at BWW actually have a lot of meat. surprising but it's fall of the bone and good. we just like to not have to get so messy.

I go to the place at least once a week whenever I'm in town, so it deserves high marks in my eyes. What I love about the mayfair location is that it's huge, everyone is really nice, and they actually get your order right! Another thing that seperates this location from the others in town is that they are really liberal with the amount of sauce that they put on their wings, which only makes it better. Make sure to check out the Thai Curry and Jammin Jalepeno Flavors. They've replaced Mango Habenero and Carribean Jerk as my go-to flavors. I give it a four because, compared to other wing joints, it's pretty expensive considering the size of the wings.

It's a chain, so like all chain restaurants i go to i expect the food to be the same. Which it is. So i can really only rate the service. The service was great and I plan on coming back.

    (4)
  • Dan B.

The only reason why I gave this a two stars is because I personally never read the 1 star reviews. Horrible service, the bartenders pay more attention to cleaning and prepping for the night than they did to me. I asked for a beer that is in their menu and was told they don't have it. I had to ask to order food after waiting 15 minutes. And they were not busy at all, weird huh.

After my experiences here and at other locations, I am writing off this restaurant chain completely and it is a real shame because their wings are really good. So, why one star? For one thing, it should not take an HOUR to bring out 8 boneless wings and fries. It should also be obvious that someone sitting in the dining area having a drink is probably not intending to take his order to go. Furthermore, after realizing that this was not a "to go" order, it should have been readily apparent that the number of boneless wings in the basket did not match the number ordered. When it is pointed out that six is not eight, it is not necessary to take away the food just to add two boneless wings to it -- just bring out two more. Additionally, what happened to the bleu cheese dressing and celery? I had to beg for the dressing and I suppose that there must be a celery shortage. Had this only happened this one time, I might have been able to dismiss this as some sort of aberration, but about a year ago, a co-worker and I stopped in here for lunch and it still took over an hour to bring out our food even though they didn't seem very busy. Unless I hear of major changes, I will never set foot in a Buffalo Wild Wings again.

BWW is the one place I know I can take my kids where they will DEVOUR their food. My 2 and 4 year old both love their honey bbq wings. We like going to this particular location because their waitstaff is so friendly. We go there about once a month and there are three waitresses in particular that come over and make sure they say hi to my girls every time we visit.

    (5)
  • Krystle H.

Friendliest service I've had in a while, and I really mean that. They were busy, but our drinks and food came out way faster than expected for a packed restaurant. She checked up on out table several times to see that we were comfortable. I really wish I could remember our waitresses name so I could give her a shout out.

I had a craving for wings, and that was at least satiated at this visit during the second week of January. I liked the huckleberry and mango lemonade - truly unique and tasty. Our waiter was neglectful with beverages and refills, however, which makes one panicky when eating hot wings! He entirely forgot about our beverages at first, and at another point I had to corner him to get us water refills. This visit was disappointing but when we've come in the past and played trivia, and had more attentive service, it was quite fun. I would still go back.

We are regulars who frequent this location almost on a weekly basis. You seat yourself at this location until it gets busy, then someone will greet you. We find we have the best service from Camille around 4-5 pm (before it starts getting busy). Any other time or server, the service is lacking. FOOD RECOMMENDATION: Ultimate Nachos with Chicken (plus extra Pico De Gallo) DRINK RECOMMENDATION (ALCOHOLIC): Buffalo Zoo (or Pink Buffalo)

My friends and I live in the area and are repeat customers to a lot of restaurants on this stretch of Mayfair Road. We went in one evening for a take-out order, and ended up waiting about 25 minutes for our food even though we were only one of two carry-out customers there. The restaurant, also, was not packed. The other carry-out customers ordered after us yet received their food well before us. When they finally called our name, we took it home to eat whereupon we learned it was cold (not lukewarm, cold), my hot BBQ wings were, in fact, Mango Habanero - a sauce too hot for me to enjoy and I enjoy spicy food, and part of our order was missing. We called in about the problem and went back (luckily we live in the neighborhood). The manager had remade our entire order (correctly and well-heated) and gave us gift certificates to cover the cost of another meal on the house. While this particular experience was a pretty bad one, it was dealt with in a way I definitely respect. I'm all for second chances, and will certainly be back again - after all, I really dig the honey BBQ sauce.

I have been to the BWW 3 times and each time the food and service has been consistently good/solid but not excellent. Every time I have been here it has been busy - one way to get a seat quick is to sit at a table in the bar area (same food/service but no wait). Our family like to play their BuzzTime Trivia game and also watch sports on their numerous TVs. Food - generally lots of variety - if you like wings/meat with sauce. But the last time my wife ordered a pizza and it was excellent. Last time I had a Jack Dandy burger with a side salad - salad itself was enough for a meal. Portions are ample and free drink refills.

BBQ is one of those things that you like your meat really really wet or not. BW3s is really really wet. For me the wings are so wet the chicken skin feels slimy...slime is not a feeling I like from my food. Their potato wedges are pretty good but if you order it with cheese the cheese hardens pretty quickly and peels right off the wedges. There are MUCH better wing joints out there.

    (1)
  • Joe B.

Been going to this BW3s many times over the past 4 months. Didn't take long until I felt like a regular there. Zac, Isiah, and Heather are the greatest. The service there is exceptional. I have had Sarah as a server the couple of times that I had to sit at a table and she was the best. The trivia competition there is very good, and the players are all friendly; including JB, Beamer, Calkid, Tone, Geo, Ian, and the others, Including Jim, who dreams of being in the 12 million club. I go out of my way to be near this BW3s when I work in the Milwaukee area. I do realize that there are some unhappy customers everywhere, but I have not experienced that at this location. Go there... and go there now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We ended up rolling in around 7:30pm on a Saturday night. We planned on being out but didn't know where to eat. After a 10 minute wait (I was quoted 40 minutes??) we were seated at a table in the bar area. An NFL Playoff game was on the big screens and a variety of basketball was on other tvs. Now I'm thinking SCORE! My last minute date is turning in to a football party! My tall beer was good. Her sampler platter was good. My chicken queso wrap was good. Here comes the big but! A party of 17 or so (not sure how many since onsies and twosies kept drifting in) was seated right next to us and you would think they closed the restaurant down for them. First of all they had seated some people in that area and then made them go back out to the waiting area because they wanted to set up for the big group. (Wait what?) Right. Seated people after they waited and then said, "Oops! Go out and wait some more!" Then because our waiter seemed to be the only one waiting on the party we had a hard time getting his attention for the bill. In fact, after about a 20 minute wait we caught him running past our table and then quickly asked, "check please!" What is his response? He put up his hand and said, "Wait", and then ran off again. What?? Really??? Not only did this come off as the rudest customer no-service moment of well forever...but he didn't bring the check!!! We had to flag down the manager (I think) and he brought it. Food was good as it is in most BWWs but really all it takes is one rude waiter to make us never want to return.

This bw3 sucks. The location is not great. Being next to Mayfair means there is lots of traffic. The parking lot is jacked up. They don't have enough space and it doesn't flow at all. The carry out process is a joke. Why am I calling in an order if I'm always waiting 20 minutes once i show up?! Then on top of that, they screw up my order on the regular. I wish there was a better one closer to the house so I didn't have to come here to satisfy my wife's craving!

Ok, So after a very long day working in the garage i became hungry, i called this location at 11:15PM to check what time they are done serving food, They said 12:30PM is last call for food. So i quickly changed and got there around 11:35ish. The person working was kind of short with everyone, The service was not that great. Me and the two people i was with all ordered, and a little while later our food showed up, one of my split order of wings hardly had any sauce on them, The other one had a little more, and the third was what i would consider the "normal" amount of sauce, atleast the food was hot, You could tell the people working had enough of being their for the day. So beware if you go late at night.

Gross food. Most of our table was not satisfied with our food. I had to send mine back and Emily, our server continuously rude and unhelpful. Unanimously the worst service at this establishment.

Well, what can I say.... Some coworkers and I sat at the bar to get a quick bite to eat....and let's just say, the service was lackluster (it was so lackluster that we considered going behind the bar, knocking on the manager's door and complaining about our service). The bartender was severely neglectful in getting our drinks - She asked one of my coworkers, wandered off to gossip with some other employees and then 5 minutes later, came back to ask the rest of us what we wanted to drink. We then had to wait what seemed like 5 - 10 minutes before we got our drinks. The bartender would forget various bits and pieces of our orders and would take about 5 - 10 minutes before we got our full order. My coworker wanted celery with his wings and asked for it when he ordered. It didn't come out with the order and the bartender noticed the mistake close to when we were done with our meal and the celery came when he had about 2 wings left. She also took forever to get the guy who was sitting next to us his sides....seriously? I would not sit the bar ever again during the work week because of the slowness of the service. I understand that sometimes you need to vent to your coworkers about things but that should NOT be an excuse to treat your paying customers poorly.

I am giving this a 4 stars because of are waiter, she was great. I ordered the new steak salad it came out small, and had been sitting back there for some time. The waiter sent it back for a new one much better looking. Thou I was not a fan of the flavor. If I was rating the person that made my first salad it would have been 1 star.

  • Derrick H.

I have never had a problem here before. Decided to stop after the girls basketball practice. This was the worst service I have received at a restaurant. Out of 4 orders only one was correct. Ordered a Nacho burger with onion rings. Onion rings came out as an appetizer and 30 minutes later received cold nachos" no burger". Drinks were incorrect. Waitress indicated she had an ear infection; stay home. I could go on for days ,but a night meant to break up the week ended up turning into a restaurant disaster. No worries this location will not see me again.

I have always had good experiences here - for what it is. I went around 11:30 on Saturday when I was craving some deep fried salty goodness. Our server Ericka was very attentive and sweet, offering refills when needed. She even brought out samples of the three new sauces (Sea Salted Caramel, Margarita, and Ghost Pepper) for us to hesitantly check out. I couldn't believe that I honestly enjoyed all three! I've had all sorts of wings, appetizers, and drinks. The food is consistent, even though the service isn't always. Come earlier on (NEVER over a lunchbreak!) and enjoy your wings in style.
