Never been here but my wife has. We had occasion to eat there today and had the lunch buffet. Small buffet but popular items. The sweet sour soup is usually something that I pass up at buffets, but this looked so rich that I had to try it. I had two bowls. I'd return again for that alone. Fried rice was very good and is darkened with soy sauce the way I like it. Egg Foo Yon was moist and flavorful. Gravy was typical, stir before taking a ladle. Lo mien noodles were angle hair, delicious. Heck, I sampled everything and the only item I didn't care for was the garlic chicken. It was sour but maybe is supposed to taste that way. It looked delicious and I did like the plentiful water chestnut slices. The premises was clean and attractive and the two workers that I saw were very pleasant. I'll be back for lunch again.

This place is hilarious. If you're trying to order take out, you have a 30% chance of it going smooth, on time and correct. This place could f up a cup of coffee when it comes to an order. The only saving grace is their egg rolls. I would say those are the unprecedented champion if there was an area egg roll competition. Without those, don't bother calling these rude bungling imbeciles.

One of our favorite for Chinese food. Obviously Americanized so if you are looking for true Chinese cuisine this and 99% of the restaurants here are not and you should go to China Town! We measure the quality of Chinese restaurant by the egg roles and these are one of the best in Waukesha county. Large crisp and yet chewy. Try the Kung poa if you want something spicy, it is great. Any of the fried rice you can't miss. Clean dinning area and they serve tsing tau beer. The vegetables are always crisp and cut the right size. Beef and broccoli or pepper steak is worth trying.

Put in a take out order and was told it would be 35 min. When my wife went to pick it up after 1 hr they told her order wasn't ready and that they were really busy. No apology, didn't seemed concerned about being 25 + min late on the order. The food may be good I will never know after 7pm my wife went to Culver's down the road. They aren't the only game in town.

Best Chinese food in town! Great buffet as well. If ordering sesame chicken get buffet style, bigger pieces and much tastier;)

I was definitely not impressed with Le Gong's cuisine. I ordered the sesame chicken lunch special with a crab rangoon and vegetable egg roll. The chicken was not sweet as every other sesame chicken I've had at other places. It was salty and seemed loaded with sesame oil. The crab rangoon was nothing special. If anything it was cooked too long, dry and overly crispy. The egg roll was almost like it was coated in something and then fried. It was very thick and greasy. The filling was sweet as if cinnamon was used. Very odd. I most definitely will not be ordering from them again in the future. Bummer.

Hands down the best Chinese in town. The fried rice is how it should be with no peas and carrots! Excellent soup, crab rangoon, general Tso's chicken. Excellent!

Seriously, what is wrong with the people who left the other reviews ? This restaurant both Sucks and Blows. It is unfortunate that there is no good Asian cuisine in the Waukesha area, or none that I am aware of. I am an experienced diner of all cuisine and understand quantity makes up for quality in some Wisconsinites' minds, but; I do not see it that way. La Choy in a can has more flavor. The battered egg rolls are nasty, why would you batter an egg roll ? The Sweet & Sour Pork is 96.4% DOUGH hiding the morsel of a gristle bit they call pork inside, The Lo Mein had no flavor at all; I cannot even begin to guess how they accomplish that, The General Tso is disgusting dough balls of greasy nastiness, The Chicken Sub Gum Chow Mein comes with a tiny bag of noodles and again; I want to know how they extract any trace of flavor?? Heaven forbid you ask for homemade hot mustard, will cost you $0.50 a side and to top it all off; The lady whom I presume is the owner as she is always there, barely speaks English yet she answers the phone and she treats you like a turd, she is an absolute Beeyotch ! To the previous reviewers: Enjoy your battered egg rolls, buffet lunches and food you describe as excellent, BUT; STOP leaving reviews because you are obviously retards and not helping anyone looking for a good meal.

This is definitely the best Chinese restaurant in Waukesha. Their vegetables always seem extremely fresh. I've had some of the chicken too and it's not greasy. Everything is very flavorful. We usually call ahead and it's ready for carry-out within 20 minutes.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
