Been here twice. The first time was good. Service was good and the food was appetizing. The second time was a night and day difference. The place was not packed, yet it took us over 15 minutes after our table was completely cleared to receive our check from the server (older lady with green scarf). The food was not bad but a couple that walked in ten minutes after us received their food before us. We did not order anything that would take long to make. The other couple ordered fish, a major time involved dish. The waitress noticed our willingness to receive the check yet still went to her other tables multiple times before finally coming to us. Very dissatisfied and would not recommend going here.

Well I'm not really sure if this is for the Rose Garden or for Leonardo's b/c apparently it's two restaurants in one. What does that mean exactly? Yeah, good question. It means you walk in and they give you two (yes, two) separate menus and, no, one is not a wine menu. We were seated in the fancier Leonardo's, although given we had a toddler in tow, I am not sure why. Apparently The Rose Garden is more family-style and Leonardo's is more upscale, at least according to the waitress when I inquired why I was getting two (yes two!) menus. There were 5 in our party. My husband ordered the blueberry waffle. He was not impressed. One person had the cheeseburger and another the chicke wrap. Those seemed to be well received. I ordered the capellini pomodoro and that was pretty good. We also got the smorgasbord pizza for our daugther, off of the children's menu. That was more than enough for one little girl. She and I both enjoyed my pasta and I thought the pizza was pretty good. I guess I don't like the lack of identity between these two places. Just seems like if you want to be upscale than do that. If you want to be family style than go that way. It worries me when my restaurant of choice is undergoing an identity crisis. I think I'd go back and have Leonardo's again (I did like my daugther's pizza and my pasta was pretty good). Not sure the Rose Garden is any better than a Perkins or the like (of which I'm not a huge fan). The whole thing was just a bit odd. Place seemed clean and the staff was about average in terms of service they provided. Not overly entertaining place (regardless of which side you're on) for little kids, though.

Fairly quick service. I ordered a chicken strip dinner which is described as coming with the Italian salad (it did, great as far as side salads go), potatoes choice ( I ordered French fries they were over cooked), and a bread basket (which was never brought to us). The chicken strips were generic fryer quality stuff won't complain about them but won't recommend them either. All in all. I'd eat here again but order something different I've had burgers in the past from here that were tastey.

I don't know what's up with the bad reviews about this place- Rose Garden Cafe & Pizzeria. I was with my co-workers tonight, and we were trying to figure out a place to eat. I had suggested we do "Italian" food tonight, so one of my co-workers found this place on this Yelp app. - Rose Garden Cafe & Pizzeria. When we drove up to the private parking lot, the parking lot was packed with cars (that's a good sign) and upon walking into the restaurant, we were greeted by a friendly waitress & the 7 of us were seated right away. When I saw this restaurant packed tonight, I thought to myself.........."it must me okay, as there is a lot of people eating here." Upon getting seated, the friendly waitress took our drink orders, then gave us a little time to think about what we wanted to eat. Apparently this restaurant not only serves Italian food, they serve American food, as well as some seafood items. After looking at the menu........I changed my mind about the Italian, and decided on eating some BIG MANLY TYPE - "BEEF RIBS!" Noms!!!! What can I say about the ribs? The ribs were very meaty, soft & tender! The meat just fell off the bone! (I love that!). The sauce was good too........not to tangy or sweet! Just puuuuuurfect! Again, just waaaaaaaaay too much food.........but this time I manned up, & finished my plate of ribs with the exception of the plain bake potato I ordered for my side. The meal I had - The"Beef Ribs"..........I can honestly say I totally pigged out, and ate the entire "Full Rack" of ribs! No girly man here baby! (Flexing my big belly!) The meal came with an - "all you can eat salad bar" (salad bar was simple, not too fancy, but had all the necessities), a starch (I chose a plain baked potato), and some steamed vegetables. No booze tonight.........I just had an ice tea with my meal. And all of this grub with tip, came out to a paltry sum of $18.77! Wot a deal!!!! Free parking in the private parking lot. Service was fast & friendly! They even served "Green Beer" tonight! Oh, and for my Yelp buddies in internet la la land...........I want to wish you all a Happy St. Patrick's Day! For one day.........I told my friend from Boston........"Eh' I Irish".......Buwahahahaha! Well, maybe not! Lol!

Sunday evening I stopped in for dinner. I should have been concerned when the place was empty other than a couple of tables. Waitress was helpful, polite and right there to check on us. The food however, not so great. Some hot, some cold, and the dishes had the remnants of other partakers. Perhaps it was simply due to the 7:00 p.m. But what ever the reason, it is not a place I would recommend.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
