OMG O & H! Does bakery get any better than this? Too many kringle flavors to choose from, plus the rotating kringle of the month means I jaunt to Wisconsin as many times a year as I can. If you've only bought your kringles at Target, you won't believe the difference getting them fresh makes. And they freeze wonderfully, making it well worth the drive.

Best Bakery for Kringle, gourmet cakes, and desserts! I usually get the turtle Kringle for dessert. The different types of fruit flavor Kringle are not sweet as the ones filled with caramel or chocolate. They make amazing cakes and pastries! I been coming here since 2005 and will back again and again!

O my! where and how do I begin to discuss and talk you all about this place! They have an amazing kringles that I never had before. I think it's a WI thing. Cause in Chicago they don't have anything like this. I would def. checkout this place if you are ever in the Racine, WI area they sell it everywhere even at Walgreens, but its better to get it at a bakery place.

My holiday tradition with O&H is over. They proudly tout a 2 day delivery guarantee (that you pay for) but when my shipment turned to at least 5 days they refused to acknowledge the issue. Their response - no worries, our products stay good for at least 7 days. My response - this is my last order for my family and gifts for others. O & H does not stand behind their service. Time for a new and healthier tradition.

This is a very nice bakery. They are famous for their kringle, which of course we bought. We got a pecan kringle and froze it for Christmas. They freeze well, it even says so on the packaging. We also got some pastries and Christopher picked out an apple pie for $6, which we thought was very reasonable. These is also a small deli area and gift shop, so it is a place where you can do a variety of shopping at one spot. I got some holiday coffees and cocoas to use as stocking stuffers. Glad we stopped here during our wanderings.

Drove all the way from California to get a kringle. LOVE LOVE LOVE the almond one. SO much fun to visit the bakery and see where these yummy treats come from. We get the almond one during the holidays at our Trader Joe's in CA. I also got to try the 7 sisters. Our RV freezer was packed when we pulled out of their driveway. HA! Thank you

A very nice, good sized bakery that's very clean with a ton of selection of pastries, donuts, kringles, and other baked goods. Among the pastries, nothing I tried was exceptionally good but for it's price you cannot complain about the quality at all. The size, quantity, decorations, etc. make for an exceptional value for everything from the enormous cream puffs to the oversized elephant ears ($20 was enough to get over a week of breakfast items for the family). The true star of the bakery is definitely the kringles - great flaky texture, quality fillings, and not too sweet. Definitely worth a trip here if you're in the area.

The interior is what really needs to be put on blast. Everybody including President Obama (literally) knows they have good kringle. What I didn't know was that the inside was so darn cute! If I lived in Racine, I would take meetings at the counter inside O&H. It would be perfect! It feels so modern for that area of Racine. In comparison, the bookstore across the street has only about 2 uncomfortable chairs and no snacks. In addition to kringle, O&H sells cupcakes for about 80 cents and slices of cake for $1. How cute is that? So you go in, meet an old friend at the cafe, and get a slice of cake! PERFECT They also sell pastas and sandwiches so you could have lunch. I never knew!

You know you're a fat kid when you order bakery goodies through the mail! Being from Minnesota, I know my way around a Kringle. I've tried every flavor out there from apple tart to berry blend, even maple bacon but nothing beats the simplicity of the O&H cherry Kringle. "What is a Kringle," you ask? It's a toaster strudel on crack! These delicate pastries are stuffed with every fruit imaginable and vary by season. All of these delicious, circular treats are topped with frosting that could put any cake company to shame! They offer seasonal home delivery and yes, I'm not ashamed to say, I get a mailer every holiday with pictures of Kringles and their other tasty treats! I get so excited it's like my version of a dirty magazine!! If you live in the area (lucky you!) or want to send a little something different to your family for the holidays or even yourself, you can't beat the O&H Kringle!!

O&H has a great variety of bakery goods, but of course the best is their Kringle! I don't live in the area anymore but always try to pick a Kringle up when I have a function going on and need to bring a treat. I have even got my husband stopping and picking some up for his work get togethers. Everyone out of Racine loves it, and we get requests to buy it all the time!

Got my wedding cake from o&H and it was fantastic! Beautiful and delicious. Their red velvet is to die for. We also had carrot cake and Danish cake sheets because we couldn't decide between the three. Our guests raved for all three. Their staff was very helpful and friendly helping us to have the perfect cakes for our big day. Thanks!

My brother and his wife sent me their kringle for Christmas last year. Delicious. So, this year I decided to treat myself. Lots of flavors and they sell more than just kringle. All the flavors I have tried have been great and they have many and interesting combinations. The kringle was moist and flavorful. Perhaps next season I will try one of their other product; that is, along with and not instead of their kringle.

During a trip to Racine I was looking for something other than the Kewpee Lunch and Frank's Diner, and I was reminded of the Kringle, another one of those parts of my childhood that passed by my periphery without me realizing that not every part of the country had such a Danish treat. O&H has long had the market cornered on kringler, and you would be forgiven when stepping into one of their outlets for mistaking it as a tourist trap. Sure, they've got distribution down to a science, with all flavors available online (for a noticeable markup) as well as on nicely-slotted racks directly in front of the bakery, labels professionally printed and listing every possible ingredient that goes into a kringle. And though I'm not sure how many small-time bakeries use diglycerides, beet sugar, sodium metabisulfite, and bamboo in their baked goods, there's no reason to think these things aren't being cranked out fresh every day in Racine. The best flavor is clearly cherry cheese - the tart Door County cherries and sweet cream cheese can't be beat. There's a bunch of other Wisconsinite and Danish paraphernalia, though your mileage may vary. Local or not, there's a reason Door County isn't known for their coffee. Visiting the bakery serves as a reminder that they do as much business outside the state as in, though we have the benefit of picking one up from a local grocery store and not having to worry about shipping and handling. Like much of Wisconsin's eastern European heritage, the kringle is only one small window into Danish culture, but it's better than nothing.

I'm a Kringle fan, and this place has some good-ass Kringle in many flavors - so many I always leave thinking "I should have got this flavor, and that flavor." I usually leave with at least 3 (this time I got apple, strawberry and cream cheese). Also left with more goodies from their bakery (donuts, cookies, even got a cronut). The Kringle was EXCELLENT, everything else was good. They sell many cute kitschy items in the store, in addition to a large assortment of frozen items. But my first choice at O&H will always be the Kringle. Although I love me some Kringle - I am kind of happy that they are far away from me because I eat a lot of the Kringles I end up buying, and they are definitely not good for me.

A must stop place for anyone. Try out a kringle and buy one for a friend. I moved to the area 14 months ago and I'm a fan. I now find friends and family back east requesting me to bring them kringle when I travel back home.

Got O&H pecan coffee cake from our local Trader Joes in Naperville IL! Amazing, coffee cake melts in your mouth. Tastes just like the coffee cakes back in the 1970's that you got after church. We are definitely going to drive through Racine anytime we head up to the Dells just to stop off at this bakery.

I don't know if I should be allowed to write a review for this place yet, as I have never actually had their signature item, the kringle. (gasp! I know) (Well, really, here's the thing. I am not a "pastry person" per se, and those things are huge! And $7! So what happens if I buy one and don't like it? ) aah I guess one of these days I guess someone will take pity on me and let me have a taste of theirs - :) So instead I will review everything else. Like the shop itself. Bright, clean, and decorated/arranged extremely well, with no questions on price. Service - helpful. Fast. Friendly. The coffee they sell - a tad on the weak side, but hits the spot on a cold, rainy day and is cheap. Sandwiches - $4 for a half size (which is still huge), a small condiment side cup of pasta salad (I got the Mediterranean, which you can skip, its not that great), a pickle AND a cookie! Where else you gonna get a deal like that! Donuts - heavy cake style, which is the best style IMO and like 25 cents each? Nice. I like to tease my friend, who is Danish, by calling her people "Denmarkian". And boy, do those Denmarkian's really know how to run a bakery! ;)

Kringle Kris Kringle! Have a very very buttery and sweet holidays everyone! My boss gets these Danish Kringles (puff pastry filled with moist fillings like fruits or nuts) every year. It's a sweet reminder that the Holidays are here... For more details and photos please visit my blog.

O&H is the best bakery in Racine. Just solid. Kringles are the original Racine Kringle and the best. Beyond that, the bread is fresh and good. These people know how to make a rye bread or a good crusty french. Better than anything else I can find in the city. O&H is truly Racine's best.

Do not go here for bagels! While they do have them, they have no toasters to toast them and charge for cream cheese. But hey...they did offer to microwave my bagel. So I had that going for me.

We couldn't ever seem to find the same location twice. We got kringles at 2 locations & they are the best things to eat in Racine. Wish we coulda lived on them. Eat some while you're in town, but remember to get several to go, because once you leave, you'll be craving them! They travel well, bring some to friends!

My co-worker told me about these great bagels that O & H on Durand has so she asked me to pick up some before work a few weeks ago. Wow these things are amazing!! The one I had was the Italian bagel. It is a bagle topped with melted cheese and a tomato slice sprinkled with parmesan. KILLER!! They have mushroom and cheese ones that look yummy too. The Danish Layer cake is awesome and they have delicious kringle and scones as well!

OH Danish bakery is superior in their product as well as the service they provide. I have been ordering their product for years and recently had my first problem. My problem however, was not with them. It was with UPS. UPS delivered the product damaged twice and OH Danish quickly and without hassle replaced the product. Thank you O H Danish Bakery for always delivering. I would reccommend OH Danish to anyone that wants a tasty treat. You can count on them to provide it!
