Great Mediterranean find... A quick and simple, but tasty meal. The portions are generous and the cost is low, but the best part is that you can tell the owner is happy you are there and treats everyone excellent. Good quality with fresh ingredients. Thank you Yelp!

Not bad Mediterranean food. Their Baba Ghanoush is a bit spicy which I am not use too. Their falafels are really good!

Ate here with my in-laws and wife last sunday, and enjoyed the meal. We had good variety as we ordered: Gyros (Gyro was pretty good, and enjoyed the raw red onions to cut the salt in it). Italian Roast Beef w/ spicy fries (Fries were surprisingly good) Falafel platter (they offered to let us try baba ganoush alongside the hummus and falafal, which was really good. The falafel was slightly too salty, but hasn't been in the past, so maybe just this one time). I forgot what my wife had, but the rice that it came with was very good. It was very flavorful and enjoyable. As a visitor from NYC, I'd say the Gyros are pretty much similar to the experience you'd get in NYC, which is pretty decent. There is good variety, and the servers were very friendly. Prices are good and portion sizes were decent as well compared to the other placed we ate at during the week. It was a very well run family restaurant and we will be back when visiting the area again.

I'm going to agree with most of the reviewers so far. This is one of those places Yelp was made for. It's nice, but not impressive. Clean, well kept, but it doesn't really stick out. The gyros plate was a reasonable size, not huge, but acceptable for a lunch. The hummus plate was very good. Found a new combination I wouldn't have otherwise thought of, hummus with spicy fries, actually pretty good. The owner came out a couple times just to check on us, nothing big, just came out to see if we were doing OK. It's a gyros restaurant tucked in so that it's not easy to find. For the area, it's very nice, and it's not busy. It's a definite try it and see if you like it restaurant.

The environment is ok, nothing special. The food and the service however are excellent! I especially like that the owners son (maybe 10 years old?) runs the cash regester on the two Saturdays that I have been here. I am a big fan of family run small business and this one is no exception. I recommend the spicy gyro meal with spicy fries.

The combo platter is great. It's a sampling of a flavorful parsley based salad, spicy hummus and a falafel on the first plate and tasty kabob over rice on the second plate. The owner is very friendly and is happy to explain the dishes.

Attention vegetarians! The sampler is a revelation. The hummus is the best around. The gift of a variety of ethnic foods, and American savories, makes it uniquely tempting. If you are seeking a change-up for your palette, visit soon. The gyros are the best on the southside, with real spit-cut meat. Something not found in treehouse forts ;)

I would probably rate this as more of a 2.5, but not quite a 3. After reading the reviews for this place, I have to say that I was disappointed. I ordered 3 gyro plates, 2 with fries and one with rice. The rice was sitting in either a rice cooker or a slow cooker on the counter. Needless to say, it was clumped together and not at all flavorful. The gyros were okay, but nothing special. The tzatziki sauce was homemade but was also pretty bland. Unfortunately, I will not be back.

This place is amazing. I can't stop coming back! My favorite is the falafel and the hummus plate - spicy!! You really cant go wrong- gyro, greek saled, fries. It is the owner and workers here that make this place EXTRA awesome!!! Tyler knows my order by now! Haha and the owners12 yr old son is often at the register. Great family, great service, great food!! :) Highly recommend!

The hummus with kofti was outstanding! It took a few minutes but was worth the wait. The falafel was also wonderful. The gyros were good but I think the specialty foods were really worth stopping for. We will be repeat customers!

The owners are amazing. We stopped in after the first snow of the year. We arrived late and weren't sure if they were open or not, but after trying the door and finding it locked we were amazed when we were invited in. I didn't want to inconvenience anyone by showing up after they had closed but they insisted that it was ok. We ordered a gyro and a salad and some soup. All of them were very fresh and tasted great. Had some nice conversation with the owner as he was preparing our order. It is very nice to see the great service that this small family run business provides. This was our first time here and based on the kindness of the family that runs it we will be back for sure. I will go out of my way to get service like that even if some of the other reviews say the food is just average. I will take average food and great service over great food and average service any day!!!!! They made us feel special, that's important.

We tried Gyros Express for the first time tonight and it was a wonderful experience. I got a falafel and my fiance got the shwarma and we split them. The chef put so much care into making the food, and it was not only visually beautiful, but absolutely delicious and left us feeling very full, satisfied and healthy. When the chef brought our food out, he asked us if we would like to try the tabooleh salad, and neither of us had ever had it before so we obliged. It was amazing, and complimented the dishes we were eating. When we complimented his cooking, the chef said that he takes pleasure in cooking everything fresh to order and made by hand so the quality is guaranteed excellent. He was extremely humble, but you can tell that he is the best at what he does. The atmosphere was relaxing and clean, and I can't wait to go back.

I has the Philly Gyro plate and my wife had the classic. Good food friendly staff, the temperature in the restaurant was a little cold. Reasonably priced. We will go back. They have Cedar Creat ice cream too. Too cold for ice cream the day we were there.

Tried the Gyro, delicious and huge. Will try Falafel or Shaworma next. Can't wait. The chef/owner is from Jerusalem.

I had the Shwarma dinner plate and I was back for more ! The falafel sandwich and the shwarma sandwich are great too. The meat was tender and delicately spiced. Will be back for more !

This guys has done a great job of starting a fabulous small business. The food was great. You can tell the owner/chef is formally trained. I am little perplexed by the location. I won't make a special trip to a strip mall for the food, but if I am in the area, I would consider.
