What you basically have here is a rebadged version of Chipolte, as their business model, menu, and style of service is almost identical in every way. In fact, if you were to walk into this place and they switched up the signs outside, you would probably not recognize the difference. Until, that is, you tried the food, as it is certainly a step down from it's plagiarized predecessor. This place is alright if you happen to be hard up for this type of Mexican/Tex-Mex/American fusion, especially when you live in Oshkosh and are not in the mood to drive to Chipolte in Appleton. That said, Qdoba is not particularly memorable in any way, merely adequate.

If you can get through the confusing menu board you've got it made. Excellent mid priced Mexican fair at fair prices. You kind of stand in line hoping you can order what you want as the menu board is confusing. Prompting by the employing helps as you just need to tell them what you want on your burrito, etc. the meats are fantastic, I generally get the pork which is tender and seasoned perfectly. The potion is large and all fillings are fresh and tasty. Topped off with one of the tons of flavors from the Coca cola freestyle machine and you have a great meal. You won't leave this place hungry!

Let's be honest here -- if you want decent Americanized Mexican food, lacking a Chipotle in town, this is the place. The boyfriend and I have dined here a bit, uh, frequently, you could say...we have been recognized by several employees as regulars. But they were just as nice the first time we stumbled in here, dazed after seeing a dozen houses in a matter of hours, so props for customer service. The food is pretty standard, not much to discuss there. It's always been hot and fresh, and when they're out of something, there's always been another batch ready to go behind the line. If you eat here on any kind of regular basis, get a rewards card -- you get a free drink right off the bat, and eventually a free meal. The restaurant itself has always been clean, and they have a nice little patio out front, if you don't mind a little traffic going by. So, safe to say the boyfriend and I will likely become better known here.

Very good food, we eat there once a week. When they are busy it gets very noisy in the dining room.

The pick 2 menu is great foot indecisive people like me. This location had a really friendly staff behind the counter. It was very neat and clean. Seriously though, why the vacuum chamber going in the door where it felt like I was going to pull my arm out of the socket?

When you go to a fast causal burrito joint you know what you are getting. In Wisconsin for some reason they give you less points on your reward card for an entree and this location had small portions. They did have the Coca Cola Freestyle machine.

Tried this while on vacation in Oshkosh and it's okay, not sure I would make a point of going there. Got the 3 cheese nachos and two steak tacos. Nothing stood out, it was just okay.

I used to visit the Qdoba when I lived in a different city and loved the food. Always fresh, delish. This location is horrid. The service is terrible, they are often out of the condiments I want and the food just does not taste good. Tonight, my wife took my daughter there for supper. What a mistake. The portions were very small, the meat was cold, and the guac was still partially frozen. For just under $10, she got a medium drink, a few spoonfuls of rice, a few ounces of lukewarm meat, some watery sour cream and frozen guac. We will not be returning. Three strikes, and I'm out!

I really wanted to like this place, because I am a "big burrito" kinda guy. Unlike other towns this size oshkosh did not have a place like this. My wife, daughter, and I showed up at a busy dinner hour and as we stood in line( which was about 10-15 ppl deep) I noticed that one of the girls working had neon pink hair. As kind of a joke I mentioned to my wife and daughter "if I get a hair in my food that is pink I'll know where it came from" got my chicken burrito and sat down to eat. Took a big first bite because I was starving and you guessed it! Had a 2 foot long neon pink hair connecting my bottom lip to the bitten off burrito! Puke! Gag! I was pretty astonished at both the irony of the situation and also pretty grossed out. The manager must have heard me complain out loud or seen what happened because he was right at my table offering buy one get one half off coupon for next time. Thanks but no thanks!

Was pretty disappointed. I was hoping that the food would be authentic, but when a restaurant uses hot sauce that taste just sour.. (no actual spicy) That's pretty disappointing. Over priced Mexican food. I'd say save yourself a few bucks and go to taco bell, the food there is better and its not that far from Qdobas.

Anyone who recommends T-Bell over Qboda Mexican Grill must maintain a loose grip on reality. Qdoba is one of our family's favorite Mexican restaurants. The food here actually has flavor. The menu items are uniquely Qboda's. I love the Mexican gumbo. The sauces are sufficiently spicy for typical American taste buds, especially those served from behind the counter. We especially enjoy the nachos and queso sauce. Thinking of Taco Bell down the street? Do yourself a favor and try QMG instead.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
