Probably closer to 3.5. I was trying to shake off the bad meal I had at Benvenuto's, but was still craving Italian, so tried Christianos the next night, while I was in town for work last week. The servers are great! Really friendly and I liked the atmosphere, which reminded me of Floridino's here in Chandler which has been a long-time favorite neighborhood joint. I even caught myself humming along with the mellow country music on the speakers and I don't normally listen to country. The place was more than half full with families or what looked like groups of coworkers having a great time. I started with the spinach salad, minus the onions, add avocado, and this was a nice salad. Everything was very fresh and I was happy to eat my veggies. It did come with a huge mound of shredded mozzarella on top which looked really funny, but it was tasty if I ate some with a bite of the fresh bread that came with the salad. I know I was in Wisconsin, but that was just a huge pile of cheese. Would have been fine with a third of that. They had Alaskan Amber on tap for 4 bucks which always makes me happy too. Then I ordered the Dad's Special personal pizza, which has pepperoni, sausage, and canned mushrooms on it. The receipt even said "can mushroom". C'mon now. Canned mushrooms? I'm taking a star away just for that. Canned mushrooms tend to be rubbery and have a briney aftertaste. Would have been a much better pizza with fresh shrooms. I also took off a half star because the crust toughened up immensely as the pizza sat there. I ate one piece. Pretty good, then the 2nd piece was very tough. It was probably in the oven 3-5 minutes too long. Before tip the total was $26.15. I would go back to Christianos though. Great atmosphere and I can tell, generally pretty darn good food. Good, cheap beers go a long way with me too. If I'm back in the area I would definitely make a return visit. They have a lot of good choices on their menu.

This is probably the worst place I've eaten in this city to date. Perhaps I didn't get what they were most known for; I cannot do that when the person I speak to over the phone says "well, everything is good so get whatever you want I guess." Refusing to give a recommendation or at least a "most-ordered item" comes off as being unconfident in your food. Rightfully so, I suppose. I decided to go with a Gourmet Calzone, toted in the description as a "Christiano's Original." As soon as I submitted my order online, they had to call me about the Gelato since they did not give EatStreet Online Ordering the flavors of Gelato they carry. The Gelato came in a sealed plastic cup, so I have my doubts that this is because they change flavor too often. Clearly a technical issue they've chosen to put a bandaid over rather than correct. I don't mind, but this oversight gives a small peek into how this restaurant operates. The food in Oshkosh is rarely served hot but this Calzone came mystifyingly cold. One big wad of cold lettuce disgustingly placed in the center and drowning in Italian dressing. There was no other lettuce to be found anywhere besides the one romaine wad smack-dab in the center. Pictures are of the Calzone halved. I should've known there would be a problem the moment the delivery driver handed me a box that was visibly wet from the outside. It was sopping in grease. The presentation was absolutely unacceptable. I have not cropped one of the images just so you can see how greasy the box was. I haven't the slightest clue as to what sauce was put in the cup, as I did not dare open it. It was only half-filled, so I assume it was more oil. Rings of onion were only halved, gracing you with the unpleasant effect of dressing/grease-soaked cresents slapping your chin at every bite. The taste was foul, and it was hard to even navigate it into your mouth from how limp it was. I've included a picture of the backside of the Calzone, which was so wet that the surface was spongey. I would not recommend going here.

Worst pizza in Oshkosh. The sauce is too sweet and so is the sausage. Decent service.

You will not find a better combination of delicious pizza and wonderful staff anywhere. They take pizza seriously here, with only the freshest ingredients and attention to quality. This is a family business with a great reputation and you cannot go wrong at Christiano's!

After having a great brick oven pizza a few days earlier, I decided I'd 'dine in' and trying a pasta dish. I decided on Chicken Milano. It came with a side-salad which I had with their fresh made in store dressing, absolutely fabulous. The Chicken Milano was excellent, loved the sauce. If you like a brick oven pizza, this is probably the place for you. If you like pasta this should be near the top of your list. Did I mention, they deliver? Not only to all of Oshkosh, but Omro and Winneconne too. I recommend Christianos and I know I will return. Give it a try. Bet you'll enjoy it.

THEY SERVE BEER (Good beer too!!) AND WINE! -and... I'm from Chicago! The restaurant itself is clean and very pleasant to sit and enjoy a nice meal. I had the personal pizza with double crust and it was fantastic!! ( I was able to eat 2 pieces and bring 4 home) As far as the staff- wonderful people they have working here! From the front of the house to the back everyone is pleasant and very nice. Will I be coming back? YES

A great brick oven pizza place! Only brief interaction with the staff for a pickup order but they were very nice during my short visit. Our order was ready as promised when picking it up. The pizza was very good with a generous amount of toppings. The only reason for it missing the 5th star is the price to size ratio. Without question give it a try!

For those who have not had a brick oven thin crust pizza, you might not like it if you are accustomed to deep dish. But it's not that bad. The flavors are good and the pasta is a good portion. The service is okay and dining room is small so order out. This would be my second place in Oshkosh to get pizza right behind Glass Nickel. The menu is diverse and good authentic flavors. Overall rating: Average.

The crust is thin but too dry. I got the dads special. Pepperoni was too greasy & mushrooms are canned NOT fresh. Sauce was tasty. Staff is super friendly and on task. Decor is a combination of modern & your typical Wisconsin area supper club...with a black twinkling starry ceiling? I'm thinking the crust may be pre-made not hand tossed. Music is mellow alternative rock lots of acoustic guitar covers. Lastly, they do not serve any alcohol so no vino with your pizza.

This is a self-service restaurant, where you order and pay when you come in, then find your table (by the way, the dining room has been expanded). Self-serve beverages, but the staff brings out your food, and then continues to service until you leave. The pasta is wonderful, portions are huge, fresh ingredients. Timely carryout. On an in store visit, someone in our group asked for ketchup. They didn't have any, so the manager went next door to the grocery store and bought some. Talk about going the extra mile!!

Christianos makes a pretty good pie. I have had their thin crust and I must admit that it is pretty darn good. I eat pizza so frequently that I tend to get a taste for people whom use good ingredients and I think they do. The restaraunt (or lack there of) is more of like a serve yoruself dine in. You can get a pop and fill it up yourself which is nice so your never out but you dont get waited on. The people that work there seem friendly and they sure do have alot of options on the menu. I have had a few but only suggest their thin crust pizza. I think they were really good at that and then just decided they needed more which isn't the case. I do not suggest getting their cheese bread because it is kinda disgusting. Very bland and not worth the money. HOWEVER, their garlic bread was pretty darn good. If your in town and wanted to pick something up that's better than the fast chains but didn't feel like having a "dining" experience, I suggest Christianos. If you wanted a beer and some service, head elsewhere.

Fantastic pizza. The tomato basil penne is excellent. Finish up with some gelato :)

Pretty good thin crust pizza. They have a zillion kids working here so you get assaulted the moment you walk in, but they mean well and I suppose it's better than being ignored.

The pizza was just OK. No beer on the menu. No atmosphere. Total of 8 tables if you want to eat there.

Seriously?! This place is a joke, the pizza was average at best, and customer service is nonexistent! We were a party of four anxious to try their brick oven pizza, (not to be confused with 'wood fired' brick oven pizza which has good flavor), the small area reserved for dine in was full. When the hostess was asked how long the wait would be, she would not reply until pressed, at which time she said approx. 10-15 min. She suggested we order while we wait, after placing the order she promptly brought a tray with our drinks, plates etc. and expected us to 'hold' it while waiting for a table to open up. Christianos, we will not return!
