Best Thai food in the area, cater to vegetarian needs and the staff really cares about you liking the food! People come from all over and rave about this place and it definitely meets the expectation!! Amazing !! Tomyam soup and pad Thai here are my favorite

Service was quick and quality of the Hmong food was above average. One complaint was the check came too early and they made it obviously they were closing.

Excellent find! I was recommended Bangkok's by a coworker and it remains one of my favorite Asian restaurants. Bangkok's has the best egg rolls you'll ever find! Their entrees have all been good/great! The waitstaff is quick and food is brought out within minutes, very quickly! Parking is never an issue but they can be closed at weird times, so it might be worth calling in advance. Take-out is another option. This is easily a top 5 for me in the Fox Valley area!

Good Thai food especially for the area. In a large metro area I would give it 3-4 stars. The wife is Thai and the father is Lao and the menu is a bit different and more varied. The pad pak was good but the som tam was excellent. I had the Lao style but I think I am used to the Ubon style which I think is closer to Laos. The only thing bad about it was that the sticky rice didn't come with it. Why is it every Thai place thinks it is extra. I've never had the option not I have it in the LOS. The pad Thai was ok but I am extremely pick about it. The noodles were too soft from over cooking or were not fresh and presoaked too long. It is a family place and actually more similar in ambiance to Thai restaurants in Thailand. Most other Thai places cater to US tastes with an upscale look or a tourist looking scheme. There was a Thai TV or radio playing in background. The only thing missing is the freezing cold AC or the complete lack of AC with 90% humidity.

We visited here for lunch. The Thai Ice was excellent. We had the combination plate for appetizers, tasty but not as good as I thought it would be. The entrees were decent size portions, Spices that were provided on the side were perfect. There was some concern about region of Thailand the food was from, but it was good.

Just to clarify things before I start my review. Being of Asian descent, and having eaten at good Thai restaurants, this place has an identity crisis. The menu is all over the place with a mix of Thai, Vietnamese, and Hmong cuisine. And being that the owner and cook are Hmong, I would say half the dishes are authentic Thai. Well sort of. Authentic Thai dishes consist of pungent flavors and fresh fragrant herbs which are kinda lacking. These dishes seem commercialized for the local palette. Even with that you get a decent portion and flavors are good, but for me, not authentic enough. The dining room is small and fills up fast and the wait is long if the room is full. Don't seem to have many cooks in back so if it's busy, probably go somewhere else. It's also not kid friendly so maybe leave the kids at home when coming here. As far as flavor, I would rate it as good. Decor is nice and service is good if it's not too busy. But flavors are different than the local Chinese joints so I would give this place a good rating.

Best Thai food I have ever had!! Vegetable egg rolls are delicious and come with dipping sauce that is to die for. Excellent rice noodle soup, peanut and green curry, pad Thai and Thai coffee!

I had to knock off a point because they had no cilantro. I am no Thai expert since I've never been to Thailand or researched it, but every Thai restaurant that I've ever been too has had cilantro and it seems to be a staple ingredient among several of their dishes. That being said, I always order chicken with garlic and cilantro. I was disappointed I could not get it here. My Mom said maybe it's because we're in Wisconsin and not many people know about cilantro up here. HA! I ordered #32 with 3 stars ("hot"). I would call it medium, personally, but it had nice spice to it. The soup served with the lunch was pleasantly spiced as well. My Mom got the same but substituted with white sauce and she ordered her's 1 star ("mild") and it was a bit too spicy for her taste, but she's a lightweight. ;-) I would bet there isn't anything better in the local area so I would eat here again, but I would be packing my own cilantro!

I can't say that I'm fan of Thai or Chinese food. Ironic that I say, this is my favorite place to eat in Oshkosh. If you go, tell Rose that "#27, no rice" recommended a visit. It's the only item I've ordered since my first visit and absolutely love it.
