Real Mexican. Like I've had on the Pacific coast of Mexico. Chili relleno is the measure if good Mexican . here its a little bland, but that's the only thing I can say even a little negative

Not sure if this is the right place, but the Taqueria Arandas food truck is what I'm reviewing. This place is cash only!! Call in your order ahead of time and it will be ready in 5 minutes. Amazing chicken quesadillas and the best horchata I've ever had.

This place is a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant which serves up decent portions at an awesome price. Truly authentic Mexican food with meat selections you never hear of at the other "authentic" restaurants in town. Try the Camarones de la Diablo for a spicy seafood treat. If you leave hungry, that's your own fault! 2/2013

I usually do not take the time for a negative review. I will say that I went in alone. About 2/3rd of the restaurant was full. I ordered 4 tacos. I left an hour and twenty minutes later. I was done eating in about a half hour/ forty minutes. It took over a half hour to get rung up. The steak and chicken tacos were good. they come in two corn shells (I like one shell tacos) the other two I took a risk with and did not like. They also did not have the Brewers game on. All tvs had soccer on. I will say this. If you just want tacos, or burrito,s hitting up the truck is a can't lose. The service is fast the tacos are cheap and delicious. Truck = WIN Inside dining= Fail

Although I don't wander around Yelp too much these days, I feel it is my obligation to follow-up on this establishment for one reason: A WARNING. Since I've last updated, this Arandas location has lost its priority for safe sanitary practices. If you're looking to satisfy your need for the best Mexican food on Milwaukee's South Side, head to their Lincoln Ave location.

Best mexican food I've ever had! Prices are amazing! My girlfriend and I can get dinner (with a drink for each of us) for around $14-18 total! Great food and a great deal! I strongly recommend you try this place, you will be hooked instantly! No one seats you, so just take a seat and a waitress / waiter will bring menus to you!

If you want real Mexican food, go where the locals go. We go to Arandas (both the brick and mortar location) as well as the truck. Great tacos and tortas here folks! The salsas are also quite good. Portions are generous for price and the meseras (waitresses) are nice and prompt. The tacos al pastor and torta milanesa de pollo are my faves! The only thing I wish they would bring back are the marinated/pickled jalapenos/carrots. You can purchase them by the container, but they used to give them to you as side portions to compliment the salsas. Try the horchata, its also quite good.

We're new to the neighborhood, but boy did we luck out with our proximity to the Arandas restuarant(s) AND taco truck. SO well priced and so delicious. Yes, it's greasy, but didn't you half expect it ordering from a taquieria/ la troca? So good my boyfriend and I made up a song about it....

Best taco truck in town hands down! It's everything a taco truck should be: fast, delicious & cheap. It also happens to park 3 blocks from my house (in front of Bombay Sweets). Last week I got a killer ceviche tostada and a big gulp sized horchata under $6. The tacos are also very good. I noticed that this year they've upgraded my local truck to have more meals and breakfast items. I'll definitely be trying the chillaquilles sometime soon!

This is the best burrito truck I have had in Milwaukee so far. I had the steak burrito with extra beans and some celantro thrown in for an authentic Mexican flavor. It was the largest/meaty burrito off a truck. This was the tastiest buttito so far. I had this burrito a year when I was exploring Milwaukee before I moved here and I thought it was good but I didn't know where i was when I found it so I never had one again. A couple weeks ago I was on 27 north of Oklahoma and I saw the truck and that sparked the memory and I thought I found it. Today I was at el ray and I wanted see if the truck was there so I went over. Jack pot. I came over the hill and there it was with cars in back and in front. This is a $5.00 burrito that blows away the $11.50 I had at señor sol which was crap compared to this truck. I will always try other trucks but this will be my burito of choice for now. It was so meaty that I could only eat 60% before I was full, what a deal.

This is the reason I joined Yelp- so I could write an excellent review about this Taco truck! Im latino and have had quite a few tacos in my day but the Tacos Pastor from this place are not only the bomb but the best in Milwaukee! When my Chicago friends come visit they all want to go to this taco truck because they love the food! Seriously, the best food I ever had in my entire life is at Arandas taco truck on 13th & Cleaveland!

well, if i could find a taco as good as these even where I live (in Chicago), then check the prices how cheap they are ... you won't find better - the absolute best al pastor I ever had, if you are in Milwaukee do yourself a favour, go and get 3 tacos and an horcatha - cheap as sin and no restaurant can equal it in Milwaukee - go there and return for more later the same day!!

Ive eaten at this truck many times when on my delivery route for a quick bite. Never had a bad meal. Always fresh tasting. I recommend the pastor which is just full of flavor. If you are a little more adventurous, try the cabeza, which was super tender to the point it nearly melted in my mouth.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
