I always get a good meal for a decent price. It's nothing fancy and it lacks ambience, but they are consistently satisfying in quality and preparation at reasonable prices. A great place to go if you're craving a good steak and don't need all the glitz and glam of an upscale steakhouse.

Had the prime rib. Awesome! The meat just melted and was full of flavor. My husband ordered a well done steak and they did it right the first time, usually we have to send it back. The French onion soup was delicious. The service was fast, granted there were not many people there. I would definitely go there again!

A 2 star restaurant pretending to be a 5 star. Had steak & lobster. Lobster was rubbery, steak was burnt on the outside & rare on the inside. I ordered my steak medium. It was bland & flavorless. Will not return.

Our meals were delicious! My husband had the prime rib and I had the small filet--both were cooked perfectly and served piping hot. Our server was Chris and she was the consummate professional--just the right amount of attention without hovering or interrupting our meal. Cloth table linens and good weight silverware added a nice touch to the atmosphere. We both had salad, steaks, potatoes and delicious hot fresh bread for about $40. Can't complain about that! We will be back.

On 9/18/2015 two friends and I went for the Friday Fish Fry which is priced approximately at $10 each. Had the Fried Eggplant appetizer. They had two sizes and we took the smaller size. It was plenty for the three of us. It was o.k. I ordered a Virgin Mary from the bar, which was your typical dinner-club-style drink. It was good. The fish fry was made with Haddock, which I prefer over Cod. There were 4 medium-large fillets of fish that were beautifully breaded and fried. They were E X C E L L E N T ! ! ! And, the restaurant offered more fish if we were still hungry! One plate was plenty for me. The meal came with Steakhouse 100's unique vinegar-styled coleslaw, which is very good, and your choice of potato pancakes or french fries, and rye bread. The waitress kept our water glasses full and asked about our beverages. My friend had two Brandy-Old-Fashions Sweet and enjoyed them both! Then I ordered dessert. I had a chocolate-type of torte. It appeared to be home-made and was F A N T A S T I C ! The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is every time I visit this restaurant the staff and servers seem discombobulated, which, to me, is a minor annoyance. Otherwise, this is ONE OF THE TOP FISH FRIES in the Milwaukee area.

Service was very slow. Ordered another round of drinks 1/2 way through meal finally showed up as we were paying the bill so we sent them back. Wish I would have read reviews before wasting our money.

Wow, that was amazing food. My fiance and I heard that Steakhouse 100 was very good so we drove out there tonight and was highly impressed. We had a couple appetizers both came out great. I had a filet with shrimp combo and it was so delicious and my fiance had the ribeye steak which was cooked perfect and she really loved it, she only let me have a small taste and I agree - very good! We had excellent service and although it's a 15 minute drive we will be back! I'd have to say one of the best steak places in the area. It's nice since you can also make a nice dinner date like we did or go fairly casual and still feel welcomed too.

I live in the area and whenever I get a chance I stop in. This place is great. I've never had a bad meal & Prices are fair. Even when I move from here I'm sure I will seek out Steakhouse 100. I also have to shake my head at the poor reviews on service. Gotta be someone that's never worked in service before. There are so many things that are beyond a servers control that can hold them up at times. These folks have always been good to me when I come through. I definitely recommend them to anyone!

I wish I would have read the reviews before I walked in the door! This place doesn't even deserve one star. Terrible service, salad was limp and brown, steak was burnt on the outside and raw in the inside. I don't know how you mess up a porterhouse. I would have been better off going across the street to George Webbs. Best part of the meal was the Spotted Cow and bread. Even the after-dinner candies sucked. Stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me first start off with staying I used to work here as a 13-15 year old when they were located on the corner of Hwy 100 and Greenfield Avenue in the 90's. My boss was a nice guy by the name of Robin. I'm not sure if the same gentleman still owns this location, but he seemed like a nice guy as well. I know he was good friends with the mayor who would visit. Anyhow, the prime rib here was incredible. A older gentleman who was in charge of the steaks (Chef) did a fantastic job and the meat was always cut well. I've eaton the prime rib a few times during the holidays, because they would feed us for the holidays. They made killer baked potatoes here as well. My family was poor, so I used to always ask the steak guy for a potato to take home. He was such a great guy. One of their best things here to compliment their steaks was the dumplings soup. It was made with huge dumplings, maybe from cream of wheat, and it had big chunks of chicken in it. I'll have to stop by here and see how it compares to their glory of times.

Steakhouse 100 is fabulous. We frequent this restaurant quite often. Christen always serves us & she's great! Always seated right away if you go as soon as they open & they take reservations! Food comes right away and parking no problem! Soups & salads delicious! Steaks & seafoods wonderful! Not many options for vegetarians though =( Highly recommended! Only thing I don't like is they don't have ice tea.

Totally rude owner and terrible steaks. Wish we would have not given this a try. Really sad how bad the steaks were. So glad my son didn't finish his kids meal burger and fries so I could get the taste of overcooked dog meat out of my mouth.

I've enjoyed many meals at SteakHouse 100 over the years, so I was surprised to see some of the reviews here - they must have been dining someplace else! SteakHouse 100 is one of my favorite places to eat, and I bring clients there often - sometimes several times per month. The dining room is very nice & it is easy to have a good conversation without having to shout. The food is consistently excellent and the service is wonderful. The location is super-convenient - a great central meeting place between downtown Milwaukee and Brookfield/Waukesha. Since they added the banquet room a few years back we've held several events there and again have received nothing but compliments from our guests on the food & the service. The banquet room is gorgeous & there is plenty of free parking in back. The staff has always been great about accommodating our needs & the free WIFI is a hit. If you're looking for a great meal at an honest price, you found exactly what you're looking for - stop in & give them a try!

We had a Groupon and wanted to try a new place.. but it was not worth the discount. The restaurant has nice curb appeal, but that ended when you walk in and see the dust that is in the carpet, especially towards the back of the steps. The bar was empty and smelled stale, and the dining room had tables set up in a very odd pattern. The dish that held the sugar packets looked like it had never been washed. We ordered an app and that came quickly. We then got our soup, which was good and hot. I had hope that this place might be okay. Well it ended there.... we did not see our waitress for at least 15 minutes... if not longer. She was the only one working the entire dining room. As more people came into the restaurant, we realized that it would only get worse! I ordered my steak medium rare and my dining companion ordered his medium. When our waitress finally resurfaced, she had the steaks and they were not cooked correctly. My dining companion and I ended up switching steaks because we did not want to wait any longer. The food was okay .. nothing special! I would not go back because of the service and the food. It is not a destination !

Another couple treated us for my husband's birthday. This was our first and will be our last experience. It started off well. The waitress and busboy were awesome. We found it strange to see Nachos on the menu as an appetizer but they were probably the best part of the meal! Along with the Parmesan Peppercorn salad dressing....too bad the salad was just a plate full of iceburg lettuce and a single tomatoe wedge!! My husband loved his rotisserie chicken. Our friends both ordered a petite steak. One medium well and one medium rare. They both came out pretty bloody! I ordered seafood Shishkabobs which consisted of two chunks of salmon that were overcooked and dry, two scallops that were undercooked and two shrimp that clearly were not fresh! I told the manager this and the reaction of all the employees was quite strange. He didn't offer to recook my meal or further investigate the shrimp but stated he would put the rest of the shrimp he had back in the freezer?? He sure wasnt going to offer any discount! The waitress offered to recook my friend's steak but she just gave it to her husband to eat after she lost her appetite. The waitress stated there was a new cook and he has trouble with the steaks....then why was he hired to cook at a steakhouse??? She then let me know that a different cook made my food so I should be assured it was cooked right but she had trouble looking me in the eye. I felt like they were all in on something I didn't know! Although I woke up with a stomach ache, I didn't throw up so at least they didn't give me food poisoning but save yourself the trouble and go to a real steak house! You get what you pay for!

If you've been around a while you may remember that Steakhouse 100 actually used to be on HWY 100 some time ago. It's since moved and as other reviewers have noted.. times have changed. Located in the heart of downtown West Allis the Steakhouse 100 may seem like a tempting or convenient lunch or dinner option if you are in the area. If that's where you are leaning then you need to rethink your strategy. I had the prime rib for lunch. It was bland and rather unenjoyable. How often do you regret getting Prime Rib from a restaurant? The word "bland" doesn't really emphasize the complete lack of flavor. The service was odd. My expectations of a steakhouse are perhaps a bit more but it seemed that our server was imported from a George Webb's 3am shift. That should really color the picture for you. Sometimes I go on at length about my experiences. It's really not needed here. The handful of reviews in the two star area accurately convey what you are going to experience and leave you wondering why you didn't experience better. In terms of steak you may find yourself better served at an Applebees. At least you can experience flavor there.

I think the reviews are quite unfair. I have been going to Steakhouse for years. I have been to it now and back when it was actually on Highway 100. The soups are made right in the restaurant every day by the chef. The steaks are some of the best in the city (I have been to quite a few places that cost more and give you less quality), the staff is very friendly and the cost is equal or less for very good quality food. It is definitely one of my favorites.

We were invited to go to Steakhouse 100 and since we have not been there in years we were excited to get the chance. I remember the old building on Hwy 100 & Greenfield, the steaks were always so flavorful and the place was always crowded..... Boy did times change. Now located further down on Greenfield ave, in a tiny corner spot. The dining room is very small and intimate. The bar is too big for the area, you can barely squeeze behind the chairs and you are pushed up against the railing, very poor planning. Had the filet, it was very tender but there was no flavor to it at all, no juice, no seasoning, nothing. How disappointing. The prices are steep but it's just not the same quality. Goodbye to what was once a great steak house. :(

I never see anyone in this restaurant. It sometimes smells very badly outside of a rotten meat smell. They do holiday meals that I've attended here. Very ordinary food. This is nothing special. I'm sorry.

Reason for trying was the Groupon Steakhouse 100 offered. We were greeted right when we walked in. Regarding service this was the best part of the whole experience. There was a table of 8 and a table of 4 and then our table of 2. We ordered Mozzarella Sticks which were good, then waited 20 minutes or so before our soup came out. Once the soup was finished it was about another 20 minutes before our filet came out. The filet was good, but not great. We finished our meal and it seemed like our waitress left the building. If we wanted extra sour cream for our baked potato we were out of luck. All in all I would give the food an ok rating and the service a terrible rating.

Went because of Groupon on a Friday night. The place was half empty and the decor was a bit homey so I was a bit worried. I was pleasantly surprised by the food though and service though. The French Onion Soup was delicious and the steaks were of good quality and cooked well. For the price this place is good, not the fanciest or modern but the prices are on par with any restaurant like apple bees or olive garden and the food and the service is much better.

Although there are a lot of bad reviews, we went since we had already purchased the living social deal. It's kind of a fun place. Lots of old people dining here but a home-y feel. We were seated in the corner booth-very romantic! We ordered the mozzarella sticks for the app since they were out of fruit that went with the baked brie. Would have taken it without the fruit but oh well. They were okay. Did enough pay enough attention to realize that the fish fry was $10 all you can eat. I ordered the junior filet and Sir ordered the senior top sirloin. Not too flavorful but cooked well. The french onion soup was tasty. Friendly waitstaff. In and out in 1.5 hours. Overall a neat experience.

The food was tasty and prepared correctly, but without flourish. The service was sub par...all in all I would probably try many other places before going back

Staff was horrible. Service was horrible. Food was terrible. Dishes were dirty. This restaurant is hands down the WORST establishment I have ever gone too. I was out celebrating my birthday and decided to go somewhere new. So I found Steakhouse 100. I get into the restaurant and get seated and it is extremely noisy. The bar is very close to the dining area. I could hardly hear my wife talking. We ordered an appetizer and our drinks right away. Our drinks never came until we asked about them. When our appetizer arrived the waitress brought out extra plates. The side plates were disgusting. There was still food left over on the plates. I sent them back immediately. I ordered their Cowboy Steak and my wife order a Porterhouse both cooked medium. When we received our steaks both of them were overcooked. My steak was more than well done and charred. The porterhouse was medium-well but very charred. It looked like they threw it on a grill at extremely high heat and just let it burn. Being completely unsatisfied at this time I sent them back. The waitress had to go speak with the boss regarding the steaks. The boss came out and said he would take care of my steak because it was in fact overcooked. He turned to my wife and verbally attacked her regarding her steak. He started yelling at her over the steak. He claimed the steak was medium like she ordered. She explained that the steak was burnt and tasted horrible. Then the chef came out and joined in the battle. So here I am in a restaurant with the manager and chef yelling and verbally attacking my wife over a clearly overcooked steak. It was extremely unprofessional and very embarrassing. Here is the best part of the evening. Since she had already had a couple bites he said he would not compensate us for that steak. I told him the whole experience was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. He then proceeded to tell me that he has been in business for 30 years and never had a problem. I told him the steaks were overcooked and burnt and that I did not want to pay $24.00 for a horrible steak. He then told me that what we were trying to do is consumer terrorism. That we came in and intentionally ordered expensive steaks just to send them back trying to get a free meal. After arguing with the manager for who knows how long I finally just agreed to pay for the porterhouse. I told the manager we will pay for the steak. Now please get us our bill. The manager then continued to argue and yell at me regarding the steak. I asked him again to please get our bill. He still continued on until finally I said OK WE WILL PAY FOR IT! NOW GET OUR BILL! He then stormed off and we were given our bill. Overall I will NEVER visit this place again and would not recommend it to anyone.

I really wanted to like this place. The menu looked real good and I couldn't wait to try it. 1st of all, the service was great, could not ask for better, our waitress did an excellent job, very polite, attentive and very friendly. Unfortunately, you dine for the food as well as the service. Went here on a Wednesday for lunch, arrived at 1215 and should have walked out, there was not 1 single customer in the rather large place, I thought they were closed but no, they had been open since 11. The entire bar, empty, the entire dining room empty! Oh my, if we didn't have a coupon we would have left, that is kind of our compass for dinning, if the place isn't busy when it should be, it's probably for a reason. During our entire dinning experience, there was only two other customers, unreal. So much for the lunch time rush. It's not like it was in the middle of no where, this is in a densly populated area, lots of people and local businesses, they must be on to this place. Oh well, we forged on. We ordered two aps, sauteed mushrooms and shrimp cocktail. The mushrooms were obviously old and reheated but tasted good. The shrimp cocktail took a while to get to the table but I'm happy for that, I belive it was just cooked. Although it appeared freezer burnt or something, as there was a lot of discoloration on the shrimp and looked pretty unappetizing. They were huge shrimp however so it was really a shame. For our entree we each ordered a T bone steak (we don't usually order this much for lunch but we had a coupon that we were trying to use up) (not that I'm saying I don't like to eat or anything), so we figured a couple of nice steaks would be good. And they might have been if they were a couple of nice steaks. I could not believe was came on the plate, it was possibly the thinnest T Bone steak I have ever seen. It was all of 1/4 inch think, are you kidding me. They had to nerve to ask us how we wanted it done...........lol. A steak that thin as soon as it hits the pan it's overcooked....lol. the size wasn't the only thing that mattered in this case, it also lacked any seasoning whatsoever. For a restaurant with Steakhouse in it's name, you really.........really need to do better. A completely bland tasteless steak. Wow, what a dissapointment. The sides were something I was eager to try, The had pasta with marinara for a side, as I love Italian food I was eager to sample the unusual side...............I could not have been more dissapointed, it was a can of stewed tomatoes dumped on top of pasta, they may as well have been two sepparate items, they did not come together as a single dish and was so watery and under seasoned that it was inedible. The best side was some canned carrots with parsely on top of them. The best part of the meal was some warm bread that came at the beginning of the meal, I have no complaints about that. All in all I wanted to give this place 1 star but the service earned it the 2nd star. This place may have been good years ago but something terrible has obviously happened. Bland, tasteless food is not going to cut it.

I was introduced to this place via Groupon, had the Prime Rib, and now Steakhouse100 is my go-to spot for Prime Rib. The cuts of meat were huge, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Salad, potato, and bread are served with the meat, and all were very good. Service was great, but I never usually eat-out during peak hours so it should be great. I was very impressed what we were served for the money. There was plenty for left-overs the next day. My wife and I are going for our anniversary one hour after I write this. I can't wait!
