Quick, friendly, awesome. Sometimes a little dirty and the bathrooms aren't as clean as they could be.

Not a huge fan of this location. There's barely any outlets which makes it really hard to sit and get some work done here. And sadly, that was my purpose of this visit.

One of the busiest Starbucks I've ever seen with people ordering the most absurd drinks. The baristas are exceptionally friendly, remembering people and their go-to orders. Always move the lines quickly and have never had my order mixed up. Makes stopping here every morning a must!

This Starbucks location is in Red Arrow Park. I walk through the park everyday on my way to work, and on the way home. I stop at least 4x per week, so outside of the Good Hope location, this is my regular place. I order the same thing ( I am a minimal/boring coffee drinker): Venti Hot chocolate/6 pumps of mocha/single shot. You should try it sometime, it's good. The taste is consistent every time, and all of the staff are very nice. It's also a great location: Red Arrow, activism action, close to city hall, hotels, Marcus Center, people watching (makes for great conversation). The only downside is that the space is super small, but I believe that is intentional (get them in and out).

Nice place for a couple to skate and have some hot chocolate for the christmas season! As far as it goes it's the same as other starbucks when it comes to drinks and such since after all it is a chain. But the experience is great if you're with your friends or a loved one and want to have a romantic ice skating time with some hot chocolate. Just try not to skate and drink at the same time or you'll end up a hot scolded mess (unless you're a pretty good ice skater). Cheers!

Nice Starbucks location down town. It's located in a small park which is great at any weather. In the winters there is an adorable ice skating rink. Staff is nice and they try to push through the line fast.

Only place for coffee in this part of downtown and a good place to kill some time when you're too early for your event at the Marcus Center, but know what you're getting yourself in to. There are few tables and with 92 doors, you're never far from a chilly blast of arctic air. With the skating rink, there's nothing quiet or relaxing about being here. Parking is on the street, pretty much never available and requires a short (but feels much longer in the winter) walk. So not your typical Starbucks in terms of chilling for hours, doing work or settling in with friends, but they provide the same yummy caffeine uppers, the baristas are nie and they've incorporated the rink, which is pretty cool. So, you know, fine for what it is.

It's super busy in the morning because it's right next to Milwaukee City Hall and a whole bunch of office buildings. So everyone seems to pop into here for their morning pick-me-up. A dozen or so tables, most of which are right next to power outlets. Otherwise, it's the same as every other Starbucks with coolers of pastries and sandwiches and salads and cold drinks. This must be really neat in the winter with the ice skating rink right by their front door.

Downtown Milwaukee is not exactly hustle and bustle and there are definitely not many coffee shops / diners around. I was staying at a nearby hotel that didn't start breakfast until 6:30 and I had to leave at 6:15am each day to get to meeting s in the 'burbs. Luckily this Starbucks was across the street and it opens at 5:30am. Fantastic. I was expecting groggy, surly attitudes and poor service at my pre-6am visit. However, I was proven wrong. The people working there were very friendly and seemed to not only know the regulars straggling in by name, they also got their drinks working as soon as they walked in the door without asking, so by the time they paid, their drinks were ready and on the counter. That is excellent service.

This location is great. The barristas were very nice and friendly. The food they prepared was good and the location was excellent.

Explain to me why a downtown coffee spot only has like four outlets in the whole joint? Uhhhhh.... you are downtown! How many people have to charge up their laptops? It can't just be me. And those sad, sad little pastries you have. Good lawd! Presentation is everything, my friends. This Starbucks get a star for location and another for very friendly staff; both guys working greeted me with a smile and were very courteous. The state of their sad little Starbucks made me want to rescue them though and take them to another location or an Alterra or Stone Creek or something. They didn't deserve this and neither did I. I got my tea and hightailed it across the street to The Intercontinental's bar/lounge area instead. Plenty of outlets there, I tell ya. Jeez...

I've found myself downtown more often lately, and this has become a pseudo-regular stop. I don't review every Starbucks I've been to, but I like this one for a few reasons: 1) Great location right in the center of the Water Street area 2) The staff is friendly - I can appreciate a staff that asks your name and then addresses you by it 3) They're pretty speedy! I imagine they're used to managing the downtown work crowd, but they keep the coffee and traffic flowing smoothly. Nice work, Starbucks crew.

Nice location, but somewhat seedy inside. Lattes are not up to snuff.

Went here before work. Gotta iced coffee with extra caramel. It was yummy and the staff was really nice.

Very friendly baristas. Could use some more seating and outlets. I hope Starbucks considers remodeling this location to take care of those (...but keep the fireplace:)

There is something about this location that breeds indifferent baristas. There has been several staff change-overs and each time same thing. Often the employees are talking to each other, talking to employees that aren't working that day, on the phone.. All while there is a line of customers. Or not. Once I was one of two people in the café, the other had just ordered a tea, I walked up to the counter and the barista (only one out front, the rest were in back) told me to wait because she was going to make some coffee. I hadn't even placed my order, which was a tea. Every so often I go back hoping they're better since it's right next to work, so far it still the same lousy service.

Red Arrow Park needs, NEEDS, to be renamed "Starbucks Park" not just for the fact it's the only thing there BUT the place is SERIOUSLY SUPER AWESOME. Yes, caps locks awesome. I've been in here many of times, busy and slow alike. Each and every time, I've been (*coughcough*) crushed on time to get to work on time. Yet, they've always managed to take my order, make nice small talk, and get me my cold drink (it IS summer, after all) in a timely manner. It's sort of amazing, thinking back now, how I managed to always get to the office on time after eying the line and waiting in it. Whatever, some people are simply Starbucks haters and that's fine, makes my rush to work shorter, but from a business perspective, it's always been fantastic. Beyond nice employees, quick service, yummy food, great atmosphere...do it!

Just like any other Starbucks but its situated in a really awesome place for people watching. Right in Red Arrow park, this Starbucks provides outdoor seating which over looks Water St. and an Ice Skating rink in the winter time. Nice place to go to unwind.

I had a good experience here with friendly enough staff. Like all Starbucks, they sell really overpriced coffee. I ordered a skinny vanilla latte (so that is 75% ice, a splash of coffee and milk and syrup) and it was nearly $4. Of course, I only come to Starbucks because I was given a gift card. Bam.

Convenient for downtown workers to get a quick bit of caffeine on lunch or a break. Not the place to sit and study - not many tables. Avoid at all costs during the ice skating season. Certainly not a place to relax and unwind with all the kids/families running around.

I stopped in here before a meeting on Tuesday. I felt rushed and claustrophobic standing in line with 43,000 downtown office workers who were obviously regulars. Not a place to browse the Pastry selection or ask questions. Just order your Triple Grande 140 degree no foam cinnamon dolce latte and get out! They are wheelchair accessible, but the space is very tight.

The best part about this Starbucks is the location. It is part of Red Arrow Park, a Milwaukee County park. The skating rink is great in the winter (according to the baristas this is the only Starbucks with a skating rink), but is also gives a huge open space over which the seagulls glide, giving a great view of nature. The setting is really nice for this part of Water Street.

Great location, especially in the winter with the ice skating. I always get good service/quality here too.
