Super quick and super friendly. They know what they're doing and they're able to manage a huge drive thru line as well as a line inside the store. Very clean location with a ton of seating. Can't go wrong here!

This is probably not my favorite Starbucks to frequent. Not because of the quality of their service. Or the coffee itself. Moreso the annoying kids that roll through. Sprawled on the couch like it's their living room, charging their phones, taking selfies and not buying a single thing. Ironically however, they manage to leave trash behind. This isn't the local babysitter's club, pick up your children from the library or something. This is probably a pretty busy Starbucks too. Ain't nobody got time to clean up after you.

Although you could probably get a more authentic cafe feel at any of the coffee shops in Milwaukee, you'd be hard pressed to find one as convenient as Starbucks. And sometimes, you just want a convenient cup of coffee. But not only was this Starbucks convenient, they actually had really good service. Service at Starbucks should always be "legendary" (as they called it when I was once a barista). But I'm sure all of us have had the experience of finding something "legendary" about Starbucks in a different way. This store, however, was good about being pleasant, providing some tasty samples, and even hosting a coffee and food tasting. Nothing that's required of a Starbucks, but all things that help recover the global chain from the corporate feel. Starbucks will most likely never reclaim it's artsy and hipster feel of the 90's and 2000's, but good service and good coffee is a formula that will hopefully never go out of style.

I'm definitely going to get chastised for this one...but I love Starbucks. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the local spots too, like Roast, Anodyne, Alterra (and I WILL review them soon), but I love the way Starbucks coffee tastes. I can't deny it. I really really crave the soy latte sometimes. As far as atmosphere is concerned, I don't hang out in Starbucks. It's still a national chain, and feels like one. I'd much rather hang at a local spot. But when it comes to convenience and taste, Starbucks is very consistent and reliable.

A Starbucks is a Starbucks. People either like them or they don't. I am the type of person who likes spending time in cafes and coffees shops to study, use the internet (to write Yelp reviews for example), and to just sit and have a cup of coffee. I like starbucks mainly for their relatively low priced brewed coffee (1.50 for a tall, with 10 cents off if you bring your own cup!) as well as their free rewards program. That said, I'm not a coffee connoisseur and would never claim to be. This starbucks location is my favorite for a number of reasons: 1. although it's small, it's almost never busy and easy to find seating and parking 2. they have a nice outdoor area with multiple tables and sun umbrellas 3. it's a drive thru starbucks if you're on the go 4. it's conveniently located in proximity to mayfair mall. And the staff is generally friendly and helpful.
