While driving in winter conditions it's important to keep extra weight in the trunk of your vehicle to aid with traction in the form of sandbags or Qdoba burritos. NEW: This Qdoba is new to Tosa Village and yes, parking can be challenging. The landlord actually hires an attendant to monitor the lot to make sure people are patronizing the businesses. ORDERED: Grilled chicken burrito with guacamole ($6.39 + $1.49 for guac) and Chips and Queso ($3.99) TASTED: The burrito didn't really do it for me. It was really large but bland. I'm more of a Chipotle guy I guess. I do however have an addiction to Qdoba's queso sauce. EXPERIENCE: The woman who made my burrito had me repeat my topping selections three times. I know I have braces but shit.

It's a Qdoba so that will always earn it four stars for me in the food department. A grilled chicken queso burrito might as well be crack for me. In the 6 or 7 years that the Q has been in the Milwaukee market, I've only ever veered off course a couple of times; each with regret. I'm a bit concerned that they are starting to take liberties with their menu. Do we need 5 different types of queso cheese? Is a whole wheat tortilla going to make that much of a difference when you are still wrapping 1200 calories of ingredients? Is their "Spanish rice" really anything more than their regular rice with just a hint of pico added for color? What's next, vegan caliente queso? Grilled hanebero tofu? Really? Any hoo, that is more of a comment directed at Q-corporate than it is at this specific location. Why the 3 stars instead of 4? This parking lot blows. Let's go ahead and find the world's smallest parking lot, build it on a steep hill, add a insanely popular business like, let's say, a Starbucks's, and then locate our insanely popular business here. IMO, Q-corp could have found a more suitable Tosa village location. To boot, they pick a mini-mall that monitors its patrons with Nazi-like efficiency. I've never been a big fan of the employees here. I get it, you make crap, you work in fast food, and you don't want to be here. At least pay attention when I'm talking to you, please?! Before I take that third star away too, they have one of those Coke Freestyle soda fountains. I have to admit, those are effin pretty cool. If I want to have a Diet Grape Crush/Orange Sunkist/Cherry Coke concoction, then God dammit, as a tax paying Merican, it's might right to do so! This isn't Mexico, this isn't even Canada. This is 'Merica!

Really a 3.5 because it's brand spanking new - therefore its super clean. Otherwise, it's a Qdoba and that is not a bad thing! I enjoy the occasional naked burrito bowl fom the Q and the Mister loves a queso burrito. On the plus side, this location has one of those newfangled soda machines that I can't quite figure out. The staff is new but seem cheery and pleasant. On the minus side, the parking lot is pretty clusterf$&k-y and on a recent trip there was a Mount Everest of garbage in the can near the door. (Seriously, it was like 2' above the can!) Know that the Tosa HS Championship Bro Tream seems to have made this place it's official HQ so be prepared for packs of zitty faced boys scarfing burritos and quoting lines from Tosh.0.

I love a good burrito, and Qdoba actually does make a good burrito. The parking lot is a bit of a jumble, but I've parked there twice now without too much hassle. Teens seems to like this place, take that as you will. My first visit was great, though the AC was cranked up so much I think I should have dined outside to warm up a little. For the second visit I did dine outside (much better) and there was a lot of confusion among the employees, but since it's still pretty new I'll forgive them.

Great location in the Tosa Village. It is in the spot that Little Caesars used to occupy. Bright and spacious. Friendly staff. Decent food. Check it out!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
