Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for High Cholesterol

Keep your pizza intake to one slice to avoid high cholesterol intake while you dine at Pizza Hut. Skip Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice as it contains a high amount of fat and the sodium levels are also very high. Avoid the desserts section completely to limit the fat and sugar intake. WORST PIZZA ORDER EXPERIENCE EVER. Ordered a pizza at 4:55 p.m. (knowing full well this place is notorious for incredibly long delivery waits), and had no delivery time estimate. I checked my email confirmation and the delivery time was estimated at 2:00 a.m. I called the store asking whether this was a joke. The assistant manager, Beth laughed and said the delivery driver would be in at 6:00 p.m. and we were probably looking at 7:00 p.m. delivery. At 7:15, I called again and she again laughed and said it would be "within the hour". 8:07 p.m., I called again indicating a three hour wait for one pizza is unacceptable. Her reply was "I understand" and hung up the phone. Never again and I am contacting corporate in regards to this.

I like pizza hut pizza but this is horrible. I have waited over an hour for food it is faster for me to drive to bluemound and 76th and back. Unfortunately if I want delivery Pizza Hut forces me to use this one.

This Pizza Hut is entirely inept. No one answers the phone if you need to change your order. Pizza is crap. Customer service is non-existent. Just an absolute garbage operation all the way around.

Ordered delivery and pizza was thirty minutes late. I called the store to verify the status and was told it was just coming out of the oven. 30 minutes late and you are just now pulling it out of the oven. Manager gave some bs story that the website can not be trusted for accurate time estimation. I could understand if the delivery was off by 10 minutes but 30? Come on.... I could have placed two separate orders with their competitors and received them both before this order was delivered. Will not be ordering from this location again.

terrible terrible terrible! I ordered online around 5 pm, and got an estimated delivery time of midnight! I called the store thinking this HAD to be a mistake, right? wrong! The manager informed me that the tune given, was indeed correct. So, needless to say, I cancelled my order. This outrageously late delivery estimate happened twice more before I stopped ordering from here. Dominoes gets my business now

WORST PIZZA HUT EVER!! Here is my story on this particular Pizza hut! I ordered Pizza before i left work at a few minutes before 4 pm since my 2 year old asked if we could order pizza for dinner since daddy was out of town working. Who can say no to that! So i ordered right before i left work, as soon as i ordered and was done paying i realized it was a really long wait! It said the pizza wouldnt arrive until 730 pm! WTH! Thats ridiculous! But since i already paid i decided to suck it up. Later on 730 comes and goes, i finally call at 8 pm and ask where my pizza is and she has an attitude with ME! R u kidding me!!??? She tells me only 2 people work at this particular Pizza hut and they are trying to go as fast as they can! hmm...only 2 people work their huh?? and i informed her I was already given a 3 hour and 50 minute wait for my pizza how could they not get ONE MEDIUM pizza to me within that time! She than told me someone should be on their way shortly. At 815 i call back and this time i am upset because my son is very hungry and tired, his bedtime is 830. She says that their was someone who lived closer than me so they cooked his pizza and delivered it first and mine will come after....I was like i cant believe you actually told me that!!! I was fuming at this time!! I informed her that this is completely unacceptable and she didn't seem to care at all! Finally 9 20 yes 9 20!! rolls around and the pizza hut guy pulls into my driveway...well he sits in his car for about 15 minutes! Finally i go out and walk to his car and ask if he has any intention on bringing my pizza. I understand im being a dick not but SERIOUSLY!??!? and hes like yea here you go....finally get my pizza inside, give my hungry son a slice and he bites it and tells me its cold...hmmm and guess what it was!! I waited 5 hours and 20 minutes for the stupid pizza and its cold! and when i called to talk to a manager i was given the run around!! Since then i have never and will never order Pizza hut again! awful location and workers!

Ordered some breadsticks and boneless buffalo wings over the Internet. The order was late by about 20 minutes. You have to have someone buzz you in and you have to push a red button to get out. Add to the fact that the landscaping is completely retarded at this location: you could easily bottom out your vehicle if you enter or exit too fast. The bread sticks were so-so: I think Little Caesars makes better bread sticks (they had a bit of sweetness to them which was weird) and in terms of the chicken wings: I like BW2's wings better. Not bad...not particularly good, just OK.

The absolute worst Pizza Hut EVER!! Go elsewhere!! Ordered our food for delivery, was told 75 minutes @ 7:00 PM!! At nearly 10:00 PM our food finally arrived!! I told them to keep it!! We ate @ McDonalds!! That's ridiculous!! This is not the first time this happened!! I wouldn't even give 1 star, but had to so I could worn you all to RUN!!

Service was the worst! We ordered online and the estimated arrival time was 1 hour and 45 minutes from placing the order. The wife and I thought that was ridiculous so we called them and they said, "It [the website] over-estimates like that just in case. Your order should be there in an hour at the latest." An hour and 42 minutes later, the delivery boy finally made it to our house. "Well at least it was worth the wait" is what I was thinking, but then we opened the boxes. They forgot the breadsticks! The one thing that the wife and I were really craving! So the wife called the establishment and asked for a manager to inform them of their slow and forgetful service. She was immediately put on hold. After sitting on hold for 20 minutes she got in the car and started driving there. She finally got through on the phone a block away from their establishment (30 minutes of holding). Since she was so close already, she hung up and went inside to speak in person. When confronted about their slow service (and being on hold for 30 minutes), the manager's excuse was, "We are short handed". When confronted about missing the breadsticks, the manager's excuse was, "We ran out". While delivering these poor excuses, she was very rude and condescending to my wife. The manager couldn't even offer a resolution, she just said, "So, I don't know what you want from me." My wife suggested compensation for the meal. So they refunded the meal. Stay away from this Pizza Hut if possible! Go to the one just off of Appleton in the Falls! *Update* I was contacted by the franchise owner, and he was very apologetic over this whole incident. They are going to work towards correcting this situation. So I would suggest giving this location a try after some time, but at this point in time, they have some work to do.

Might be the worst Pizza Hut in Milwaukee and that's not easy to do which speaks volumes about this location. Had a two hour wait for delivery and when the pizza got here the cheese was stuck to the top of the pizza box.

If you're picking up your pizza yourself make sure you do yourself a favor and check the bottom of your pizza, twice now this location has tried to give me uncooked pizza, completely raw on the bottom.. I had to wait for a second pizza to be cooked after they tried just putting my original one back into the oven, I was there for 45 minutes waiting for the second pizza to cook and they didn't even offer to pay for my 50c sauce for my wings after all that. OH, did I forget to mention they gave me the wrong wing order as well, so I had to wait for a new batch of wings too... They have some serious management issues going on over there, other than that... when it finally came out correct it tasted fine, just like pizza hut always tastes.

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY. Four times we've been made to wait 2+ hours for our order. Waiting right now - ordered at 5:07, it's now 8:12. Have tried to pick up and waited in their tiny scary waiting area for over an hour with a small child almost being trampled several times. If you want Pizza Hut go to another location. I hope the corporate organization pulls their franchise rights. Absolutely unacceptable.

MADE THE MISTAKE - Said I wouldn't order from them again, they gave me a $20 forgive me credit and It's now been over 2 hours and no pizza. The witch who answered said, unsympathetically and unapologetically that it would be another 30. DISASTER.

Never have I had such bad customer service from pizza hut before. They messed up my order and didn't even cut the bread sticks they just left it a large square of cheese bread. They were also late so I didn't tip. I ordered a large thin crusted pizza on one side of the pizza and hand tossed on the other side. Well they didn't do as I say and the funny thing is they've "never heard" of that before but yet I spoke to the manager and he said they just fired a manager for doing that? Wow what a lie! I've ordered from Pizza Hut many times before and they've done the half tossed and half the crusted before. But oh well. I know better now not to order from this location.

Basically, this Pizza Hut is the reason why i HATE Pizza Hut. Messed up my order by claiming it was canceled. Said they honor the price, but then turned around and charged me extra.. Then they argued with me when I pointed out the error. If you want a shady, seedy pizza place, this is your place!

WHAT A JOKE- How the hell does it take more than 45minutes to cook and deliver for a Pizza Hut order on a Tuesday night??? Ordered a pizza online at around 6:55pm, I received an email confirmation shortly that my pizza would be delivered by 9:30pm which seemed way off so I called about 40 minutes later (around 7:40ish) and was told the pizza would arrive 'within the hour'. So 8pm rolls around and I called again- 1) Was first told my delivery was scheduled for 9:30pm (just like the website said), I asked how it would take them 2 hours and 30 min to cook 1 pizza on a Tuesday night, I was put on hold and another woman picked up the phone and said 'the pizza just came out of the oven' so would be delivered in 10 minutes. - Mind you, my hotel was like 3 blocks away. 2) at 8:20 I called again and was told the driver was ABOUT to leave with my order. When I asked her to confirm my order she put me on hold and I got cut off. I called back 5 minutes later and she said the same thing about the driver, I immediately canceled the order!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
