The wait staff, especially Mark, was very attentive. The food was good except my scrambled eggs were very runny. I said "ew" and Mark was right there asking what was going on. He was gone and came back in a flash, with manager Helen, new eggs and apologies. I'll be back to this location

Pretty on par with what you would expect from a chain. Went on a Sunday morning around 9 in the AM. It was fairly thin, maybe 10% of capacity which was surprising as usually somewhere like IHOP is teeming with ravenous breakfast eaters. The venue was quite clean and pretty modern. Food was adequate and service was delightful. In all, it was cheaper than IHOP but the choices are a little limited for breakfast items. Mmm. Pancakes...

Not bad! Pretty much straight forward and predictable. Went here for breakfast the other morning around 845. Not overly crowded. Service was good, our waitress was very nice. Food came out quickly and serving sizes were large! When we were done the lady at the register was also very friendly and made polite small chat while we paid our ticket. Enjoyable experience. I do wish there were a bit more options/variety on the breakfast menu, but it is not a deal breaker. Would go back as the prices are reasonable (less pricey than IHop I believe?)

We have our favorite waitress who remembers our drink orders and our preferences. Yesterday, the newly hired shift manager brought our food to our table with our waitress right behind her. Today, we complained to the store manager that we didn't appreciate this person trying to "one-up" our favorite waitress. He was a little rude in explaining that he gets complaints that food is cold and that if the manager sees food and the waitress is not there...its their job to bring the food to the table. Well...our waitress has NEVER brought cold food to our table and she was right behind this new manager who brought the food. Perkins has lost good and loyal customers. And our fav waitress has lost good weekly tips.

FIVE STAR PERKINS REVIEW. Sometimes you just want some simple eggs, toast and someone besides yourself to prepare them. My wife and I were greeted by a young man whose host duties include chatting with guests as he escorts them to their seats. He noted the Oregon Ducks sweatshirt one of us was wearing. This kid knew who Nick Costa was (backup QB). He seemed impressed I saw Andrew Luck and Toby Gerhart play at Autzen. OUR food arrived promptly, the restaurant was spotless, the service was excellent. Our waitress was friendly, kept the coffee filled, prompt with the food and bill, could probably make a lot of money in a higher end establishment. Not a bad change of pace from our hyper-local breakfast spot (that being our kitchen) and at $15 for two to eat, not bad on the wallet either. I had a piece of coconut cream pie at 10AM because I can.

Open late, good breakfast food and a menu with large selection of foods. Wait staff and hostess are friendly if you can find them. We went on a Sunday evening, later about 8pm and it was dead but yet we could not find a waitress or the hostess at all, had to wait about 30 minutes to get our bill so we could leave. Food was pretty good though so I would say it's a "give it a try" kind of place. Plus side, they are open late and serve all food the whole day.
