Service behind the bar was amazing! Dave and Zak took great care of our group! Our group came in before the Fleetwood Mac concert for drinks and light appetizers. We were mostly drinking beers and they served the domestics out of DAS BOOT. It was a novel idea but not the greatest drinking vessel, I got my second in a regular glass. The apps were great. Had some cheese curds and loaded nachos. And before out food came out they brought us some samples of some beer in a tiny das boot. I can't say enough about the staff, Zak and Dave kept the beers flowing and the laughs were continuous! I'll definitely be coming back!

Sorta a sad place. Dark lighting. Faded glory feel. The food was bad. The service was good. The half stools were uncomfortable. Music is blasted quite loudly so forget about having a conversation or a place to think. The Hilton hotel attached is also a bit run down.

Not too bad. Decent menu. Wide variety of mixed drinks and beers. Friendly bar staff and waiters. Food was decent. I ordered the turkey BLT right after the lunch rush. Took about 10 minutes from order till plate. The sandwich itself was cut in half and visually satisfying with mounds of turkey on a toasted white bread. The fries were presented nicely in a miniature version of a fry basket. Upon picking up the sandwich, the toasted bread was cold to the touch. I wasn't upset, but was expecting a slight warmth from the bread to compliment the freshness of the sandwich. I went for the fries next. I was hoping to grab a handful of steaming starch crisps, but ended up with a bunch of lukewarm and flaccid fries. Fries should be stiff, not floppy like a pool noodle. Anyway, I still ate that shit as I was hungry. But that's what the star was knocked off for. Came back in the evening for a drink. Sat at the bar and was quickly served. About 10 minutes later a local guitarist began covering some modern rock songs. Awesome voice, good sound system, and a pleasant ambience while drinking my pint of Batch 19. So the food may have been shit, but everything else was spot on.

This has been my after work bar, crappy weather bar, don't want to walk very far bar, and Monday trivia bar for about three years. We've seen numerous emotes and manager turnovers, countless menu changes, and one major make over. (Whatever happened to the cool neon sign?) Through all this, some things have stayed constant. Friendly employees, great beer and whiskey selection, and an above average, tasty menu. Sometimes when busy- the kitchen will get swamped and churn out less than excellent food, usually at a lot slower pace. This doesn't happen that much, but it does happen. They have a small kitchen that two other on site venues use. I can say 95% of the time you'll get an excellent burger or appetizer. But not all the time. Since it's attached to the Hilton, there's a real good chance the visitor sitting next to you has a pretty awesome story- so chat them up and spread some MKE love!

I work down the street from here and stopped by on a Friday around 4. I walked in through the street entrance and sort of just looked around for a minute before realizing there was a sign [above] that said to walk to the other end of the restaurant to be seated by the host. I was sort of annoyed because, well, I had to look around a bit and it was only when I looked up, that I realized what I had to do. It was sort of awkward and embarrassing. I get that everything is bigger and taller here in Wisconsin, but could I recommend putting something at [the average height] eye level? So, after walking over to the host stand, I was promptly seated. It wasn't busy, there were a few tables, but there I sat for at least SEVEN minutes before being approached by my sever. This, and the signage, were probably why I gave two instead of maybe three or four stars for this rating. SEVEN MINUTES. Jesus, I was obnoxious and timed it. Because one, I'm hungry and two, I'm so accustomed to walking into restaurants and within two minutes not only getting water, but also some sort of acknowledgement from a human being. By the time I was approached by my sever I had already knew what I wanted to eat and drink, but was told that the cider boys cider I wanted was no longer available. I opted for another cider at my server's suggestion and was actually quite pleased with it. I ordered the crab cakes and was EXTREMELY happy with it. The guac and remoulade that came on the crab cake sliders were such a nice and delicious touch. The bun was a little heavier than I cared for, and the fries a little under-seasoned, but the CRAB CAKES WERE FANTASTIC. GET THE CRAB CAKES FOLKS. I needed to spoil myself, because, why not? and I got the bourbon pecan pie. It was tasty, but it was a really small slice for the price I paid ($7 I think?), so that was sort of disappointing, but the crab cakes more than made up for it (and were absolutely reasonably priced for a pub attached to a hotel). Lastly, as I was munching on my crab cakes (how many times can I say crab cakes in this review?), I was staring at the table perpendicular (you know, 90 degrees, aka I turned my head left) and the poor guy sitting there had the same initial experience I had had, where he wasn't initially approached by a server in the appropriate (or at least what I would deem appropriate) amount of time. Except, one of the gentlemen (whom I am assuming was a manager or some sort of leadership there) named Adam (He has a last name, I just couldn't read his entire name tag) approached him and asked if he had been helped yet (no, he had not been) and rectified the issue. SOMEONE GIVE ADAM A RAISE PLEASE. This guy totally gets it.

Still the best cheese curds in SE WI. MTP&G has a great atmosphere and nice beer selection. I paired my curds with Unibroue's La Fin du Monde, one of the top rated beers on the planet. The menu has changed, but the chef remains, which is good news for diners. The blue cheese burger, a superlative offering, is gone and the burger selection lacks a standout option at first glance. After talking to my server, I found out that the fish tacos (crispy or grilled) are the most popular menu item. So that is what I ordered. Meanwhile, I was given a tiny glass boot sample of Sam Adams winter lager. I was the only one drinking during noon hour due to a half day of MKE County jury duty. It was nice to be appreciated. The beer was okay, not quite within my preferred beer spectrum. But I bought the little glass for $5. (See my pic of it all...) The pair of fish tacos were as beautiful as they were delicious. The crispy fish was a savory delight. The light slaw and the chipotle mayo combined with a light application of cilantro to make a winner for me. I will definitely order them again. A great experience overall. Ask for Alison as your server. She will take care of you. She even pointed out that they had USB ports in some booths with which to charge my device.

So, for my 2nd day of Jury Duty, I decided to treat myself to another place I've never eaten before for dinner. Oddly enough, I worked at the Hilton for a summer, but we were never allowed to eat in the restaurant. After checking out the reviews, I was excited to try it out. The cheese curds......great. But if you are by yourself, you may want to skip them. They were REALLY pricey at $9, and definitely way too much for 1 (or maybe 2) people. I decided to go with the classic burger, and my entree was only a dollar more than my appetizer. The burger was pretty great. Think of it like a fresh Culver's burger (well actually 2 of them) but larger and meatier. The bun was great too. It came with fries, but after stuffing myself with curds, there was no room for fries. Service wasn't great, but wasn't terrible either. I'll definitely be back.

Solid. We've been to Miller Time Pub a few times because some good friends live nearby. Despite being in a giant hotel, Miller Time manages to be "a-ok". The menu is relatively straightforward pub food - burgers, nachos, pizzas (more on that later) and the like. Prices are quite reasonable considering it's in a hotel right across from the convention center. Don't look for fancy-schmancy shaker cocktails, better-than-grocery-store wine or rare craft brews here. You can have a jack & coke, some Ecco Domani or a Miller 64, okay? If you need to be fancy, head to the Monarch Lounge upstairs. At Miller Time, you can eat some loaded tater tots (these are delicious, you should order them), watch the game and chill out with your friends. What you should not do is order their pizza because it isn't great. If you're downtown for an event, this is a reliable spot for some All-American favorites with a Wisconsin flair. (Fried cheese! Brats! Copious amounts of beer!)

We were in the adjoining hotel (Hilton) for a week at a conference so we had the opportunity to eat here a lot. I really like this place. Here are the reasons why. 1. The service is excellent. If you tell them you are in a hurry, they will get your meal quickly. 2. If you go in the evening and you just want desserts and drinks, you can enjoy being at a table and are never rushed to leave. Many nights there was entertainment which was a nice touch. 3. The burgers are really good and there is lots of choices. I had both the turkey and the regular ones and they were delicious. 4. The desserts are to die for. The cookie sundae is my favorite, although some friends prefer the bread pudding. 5. The variety of beers was large and the memorabilia was fun to look at. 6. The host, hostesses and waiters are really fun and so efficient.

This place is great! The fish & chips sounded great and the waiter recommended I pair it with a honey Weiss. The fish was flavorful and flaky. The pepper sauce, which came on the side, should be sold in stores everywhere. The beer was excellent on its own and also the perfect accompaniment to the fish and chips. And to top it all off, my lunch was reasonably priced.

It feels weird to give 4 stars to a hotel bar, but it deserves it. First, the price of things was quite fair and good - beers, especially, did not seem overpriced compared to what other hotels gouge out of their residents. The food itself was a good portion for the price - I had a black bean burger with sweet potato fries and all was wonderful. It can be a bit noisy - especially if there's live music, which happens often. But, it's a bar, what would you expect? Everyone was pretty friendly and nice as well. Not pushy, but generally amiable. This place has the added bonus of being one of the only things open after a certain hour in the area - so even if you aren't staying in this hotel (like I wasn't), you can end up here for dinner.

The cheese curds are outstanding. Super squeaky. You can get miller glass boots in 2 oz 500 ml 1 l or 2 l. Had the juicy Lucy burger and it was great. Too much fries for me. My wife had the turkey Sandwhich which was pulled high with Turkey. We will be back for sure maybe midnight snack of cheese curds.

  • Adam Z.

Atmosphere is pretty cool and it is nice that they offer competitor beers. Ordered some cheese curds in Wisconsin expecting them to be amazing and they fell way short. The curds were soggy and extremely salty, couldn't even finish them and didn't want to order a meal after this appetizer disaster. Staff is friendly, beer selection is nice, food is bad (assuming that if an app sucks, the rest will as well)

Okay - first, they have hard cider. Not on tap, but bottled. Check. Decent fries - check. I had three visits in June when I was in town for the Bead and Button conference and I was staying at the hotel. My first visit in June, I ordered the soup and salad - Beer Cheese soup. Grainy. (This can't be the soup that my friends rave about - this can't be). Mentioned this to the waiter. He shrugged. Salad was okay, it was just a salad. Filled the hole left because I didn't care for the soup. Shared the cheese curds ordered by a friend (they were tasty). Second visit, I shared fish tacos and were they tasty. I would have them again. Third visit - I tried the JUICY LUCY - Juicy double patty, stuffed with a cheese & butter blend, and topped with crisp lettuce, tomato, onion and a slice of American cheese. This sandwich made up for the soup that I didn't like earlier in the week. I would give the Miller Time a 5 star rating, but the staff never seems to have a passion for what they are doing. Just no snap or fire under them. Perfectly adequate. And if you are really in a hurry, ask for your check when you get your food.

If I was going out for a beer after a meeting, Miller Time Pub & Grill may be a decent option. Unfortunately, I went there with my family for dinner while we were downtown yesterday at an event. The food was overpriced and not very good. To start with, the pizza was $13 for a small pizza that was flavorless with dried out cheese on it. The nachos were around $13 as well with cold flavorless chicken and globs of cheese concentrated on a couple chips. The biggest thing that upset me was the $6 "bowl" of soup. I would barely consider it a cup and had to ask to verify they brought the right order. The great atmosphere is ruined by the poor value of the dining experience.

Bartenders FRANKIE D & ZAK, are awesome! They were very helpful when asking questions about their menu, & knew exactly what was really yummy, and what we would want. Knowledgeable, friendly and very courteous! Great I highly recommend it! Good food, good drinks, and good servers! Very sweet and helpful!

Pretty good food and some solid beer options on tap, including Lakefront and craft beers. So it's not all Miller Lite thankfully! This place is cozy and comfy and a decent place to watch the game because there are TVs all over and the staff will tune in the game of your choice after a gentle nudge or two. Nice bathrooms for the inevitable end of your beer rental. The MTP&G does feel like the hotel-attached bar it is, however, and the clientele is an interesting mix. But the hotel it's attached to is really, really nice without being elitist. Stayed there once on a great online deal and it was fantastic. The Miller Time Pub seems to think it's a little more upscale than it is, but while it's just slightly snooty it's relatively affordable and welcoming. The place seemed like it had about six extra waitresses just milling about for a while, but it did get hella busy toward the end of our stay. Solid pub, solid grub, no frills. Dependable this is, and conveniently located. One final thing: Less-than-stellar music choices. Solution: afforable modern juke box.

Just how I like the burger Juicy. Great name "JUICY LUCY BURGER" with fries and "Curious Traveler" beer lemon flavor.

Great place to come for lunch if you work downtown but make sure you have plenty of time. Being across from a convention center, there were a lot of convention goers dining when we were there. The atmosphere is lively and the music is sometimes intense. Pick your favorite local, national or international beer because this place has a very extensive beer list. The food. So good. My dining partner and I shared the tater tots. Amazing. This is a must on every visit. I had the chicken fajita wrap. The chicken was flavorful, the veggies were sauteed to perfection and the cheese was extremely melty. My dining partner had the cheeseburger salad, which I was extremely jealous of! A perfectly cooked burger atop romain lettuce with veggies and cheese curds! So unique, so different and so good. There are lots of unique options here. Our food was reasonably priced for the amount of food we got. For a large appetizer, wrap and large salad, the bill came to $37. Can't do it everyday but it's worth it every once in awhile. I will definitely be back to try that cheeseburger salad and the beer cheese soup with sounded amazing.

We were staying at the Hilton and arrived late on a Friday.. Millers was open and packed. We scored a table and our waiter was attentive. I asked about the Happy Hour specials that were displayed on the table, and he said that's only after 10pm, which it was. He said, the only item was nachos and a few drink specials at $1 off. No. Thanks. I asked for a beer, sold out. I asked for another, sold out. third, sold out. Finally, I asked him to recommend one they had - and I really didn't care for it and drank 1/4 of it. I ordered the black bean burger, and it was nice and spicy. Good fries! Husband ordered the salad, but without chicken or bacon, it was pricey at $11 for lettuce and a few veggies. He stuck with wine since all the beer he wanted, sold out. They had a girl singing and playing acoustic guitar, and she was talented and enjoyable. It was nice that it was attached to the hotel for convenience, but it's not really my cup of tea. I was just glad they had some options that were veggie.

4 1/2 stars! I was in the mood for a hamburger but when I got the menu the turkey burger caught my eye. The turkey burger was cooked to perfection and not dried out like most turkey burgers tend to get cooked. The dressing on the turkey burger complimented it very well too! The service was good & friendly. Parking can be tricky so keep that in mind.

The cheeseburgers here are pretty damn good. The place can get unbelievably busy sometimes-especially on Friday and Saturday nights.

Their giant pretzel with ranch is crazy good. Food wait was a little long, but very yummy

It gets too slow in here at lunch. Food is decent for what it is (a hotel restaurant), but I'm not sure the staff really cares much about the service. There are lots of other lunch choices in the area, so it's worth a walk to find one.

Sports bar located inside the lobby of the Downtown Hilton hotel. Nice feeling of a neighborhood hangout and they have a ton of television screens tuned into the latest game. Lots of windows look out onto the street, so it doesn't feel like a dive bar. Beer, beer and more beer. Lots of local stuff and mass produced beers. If you're a Budweiser fan, you're in the wrong town. Started with the cheese curds (it's Wisconsin, yo) for some local flavor. Little cheese balls, basically, that have been flash fried. Served with a tangy dip. Bite size bits of fat, really. No double-dipping, mkay? For main, I chose a cheese burger, which came with some shredded Wisconsin cheese and a tablespoon of coarse-ground mustard. Strange, but good. I still put some ketchup on it because that's how I roll.

I was actually excited to try one of their burgers as a friend had noted that they have unique burgers like the Burnt Ends Burger, featuring a steakhouse burger rubbed with a secret rib rub and topped with pork rib burnt ends, relish, onion straws and smothered with BBQ sauce. I went during lunch hours, and the place was not busy. Sat at the bar, and service was good. The bartender offered up some homemade chips as the bar snack. Most were crunchy, but tasted burnt. Not a good flavor in the mouth. Ordered a Pepsi which came in a medium sized glass boot. I thought that was kind of cool. The burger, as I requested medium, came about about 20 minutes after I placed the order. Not bad, but just a smidge on the long side. The fries were well seasoned, however nothing fancy about them, just straight up frozen fast food fries. I was excited about the burger though. It looked really good, and put together well. When I lifted the bun to see how it was arranged, well, that was a different story. Where the heck was my burnt ends? What they should tell you is that it was about a 1/4 cup of pulled pork, and if there were onion straws, well, I couldn't locate those either. I took the first bite and as they stated, it did have some bbq sauce dripping down my hand. It was cooked to perfection, I will give them that much, but for how they described the burger, well that was a different story. I actually had to season the burger with additional salt, which I never have to do, just to get more flavor going on. The burger with fries, and drink came about to 18.00. A bit steep if you ask me, especially for a lunch time burger.

Not wanting to leave the hotel (Hilton) for a late meal, we selected Miller Time Pub for a bite to eat. What a nice surprise. Everyone was congenial and accommodating, seating us well before the original 25 minute wait time we were originally given. he Manager, Graham, stopped by to see how we were doing. He went out of his way to be sure everything was OK, going as far as to offer the Miller 64 shirt right off his back! We started out with a free sampling of their hard cider--yummy! Then the task was to find the perfect meal. It was hard, the menu offered several burgers that were very tempting. I opted for more green in my meal and had the salmon salad. There was a generous portion of medium well done salmon on a huge bed of lettuce. It was very good. However, there was no bread or crackers to accompany the salad. I was also a little disappointed in the dressing, it was weak with little flavor. Try the Tator tots for an appetizer. There is plenty in a serving for everyone to have a taste. They are loaded with all kinds of enhancers and no one at our table could quit eating them. They will take those of you of a certain age back to another time. All and all I will go back. There were so many wonderful things on the menu -- think I just picked the wrong item. I should have know better than order a salad in a pub!

This review would get 2.5 stars from me if it was an option. The place was freezing cold, and our original waiter just walked up and started putting coasters down without a hello (big pet peeve for me). But the server we ended up with (because our original person ended up with a really big table that took forever that wasn't his fault) was very good. The menu was mostly burgers (though you could substitute a turkey patty or portabella for anything, if I remember right). I got the chicken tenders because I just did not feel like a sandwich. They weren't very exciting, but the honey mustard sauce was really good. This place would never be my first choice. It was insanely dark in there - I felt like I needed a flashlight to see the menu. It was alright and close to our hotel, and nothing was really terrible, just a lot of ho-hum.

Neat place inside the Hilton in downtown Milwaukee, always super busy doesnt matter what night of the week. The wings are excellent, and so many draft beer choices. Service was good, and the crowd of people makes for interesting watching as well.

  • Shannan L.

Just blah. Asked for a medium rare. Came out well done. :( I was starving so I ate it anyways. My fries were luke warm at best. Nothing to write home about. Kinda pricey for what you get. There are far better burger places in MKE then here.

  • Alex K.

Beer selection and sweet potato fries were wonderful. That said, service was extremely slow even though there were several wait staff chatting by the front. We had nobody come by to offer refills on our water and beer. Tilapia dinner was "ok" but nothing special.

Yes, I work for the Hilton, where the MTP&G is located. However, that doesn't take away from my ability to be honest. First, the staff is super nice and professional. They didn't have to be, as I am friendly with most of them, but they made sure to take good care of us. Bonus: The servers are all adorable. It is a cozy little place with a fun, and not too "sports bar" feeling for those of us who don't like that stuff. When we asked for a football game to be put on the TV by our table, the server handed over the remote. Awesome! We did not abuse this privilege. My demands for cheese curds were obliged by my group and dang it, they are delicious fried balls of cheese. I could eat just those and be happy (and nauseous, but that's my own problem to deal with). I had the Baja Turkey Burger, which was pretty good but I would have liked it to have a little more seasoning, flavor, something. The fries were a great disappointment, a bit overcooked and very boring. My group had a variety of items off the menu, no one left hungry, and everyone seemed pretty pleased. As a patron, I would probably return. I felt welcomed, taken care of, and overfed (my favorite kind of fed). Thanks, MTP staff, for being so delightful!

First of all I do not like to complain but feel the need to after my last visit to Miller Time Pub. I stopped into Miller Time with some friends last week to grab a drink and something to eat. The bar didn't appear to be busy but we still waited at least 10 minutes at a booth(with not even a hello)before we just decided to go up to the bar ourselves and place our orders. The bartender was kind and apologized for the delay with the service. He said a server would be with us shortly. Finally a server comes up to our table and she immediately got an attitude with us for ordering drinks from the bar instead of her. I'm like, why are you upset? We waited for someone to greet us but got nothing. When she first walked up to the table I thought it was a manager coming to apologize because she appeared to be around fifty. Nope, that was our server. We were going to stay for burgers but just decided to head to Mo's down the street. I will never step foot in that place again.

  • Kathy G.

This place is cold, uninviting, and lacks any sort of character. It is dark and empty. The service isn't any better, it felt like we were inconveniencing them. The food was edible but nothing worth going back for.

  • Larry P.

If you're in Miller-town, this place is a good place for drinks. Great beer and free popcorn. This place has all of the Miller products, including some hard to find. I had some Batch 19 Prohibition Ale, which was pretty good. The food is strictly fried stuff - so don't come here to eat unless you're into fat.

came here a couple of times as we were staying at the hilton. we went to milwukee for new years weekend and on NYE this place was a wild house! not my kind of scene so we left and then returned the following day for some late night snacks. kitchen is open til 10 pm. we're vegetarian and so our choices were very limited. BUT. we got the appetizer sampler which consisted of the following: buffalo cheese curd sticks, jalapeno poppers, cheddar jalapeno bites, mozzerella sticks. all in one great basket with two dipping sauces. OMG BAR FOOD HEAVEN! fried cheesy jalapeno ranch marinara goodness! i'm not much of a beer girl so i opted for the "orange" flavored jungle juice (1 pint for $4!!) which apparently had top shelf liquors so it was the best deal EVER. tasted like citrus grapefruit paradise. needless to say i had a couple. and another the next day before our megabus trip. they also have free popcorn and a pool table an darts. if you are staying downtown at the hilton city center or around there, definitely check this place out! sidenote: anyone who ever needs change at the hotel, you can come here and get change :)

Stopped in for a quick beer and to plan our next steps for the night. The place was pretty open, lots of tvs, and a decent selection of beers. I would say good place to watch a game especially if you are staying at the attached hotel but otherwise nothing makes this place stand out.

  • Jessica P.

Ate here during a recent conference. The food was pretty good - especially for the price. The service was a bit distracted. I had to ask 3-4 times to get a water. It's a good thing that they have several beers, in spite of its name. I'm sure that this is consider blasphemous to say in Milwaukee, but I'm not sure that I would consider "Miller" to qualify as beer.

Crappy service. Disinterested servers and bar tenders. Overpriced good selection of beer.

It's OK. Nothing really special here. The service was good though. I guess if you're staying at the Hilton and all you want is a beer and a burger, Miller Time would suffice.

  • Jess S.

This place has absolutely no character. Its so cheesy. Its a tourist trap. Its a bro sports bar trying to disguise itself as some sort of establishment that has a rich American heritage. They could've done better.

    (2)
  • Aisha M.

This is a sports bar. You go here to drink watch a game. It's not where you go for delicious food. It's connected to the Hilton Hotel so it was very convenient for me during my stay. I drank here many times. The service is pretty good. Don't travel to this place but if you are at the convention center or staying in the hotel it's a cool place to just chill. They also had trivia on Wednesday night. They actually have real prizes

  • Bobby D.

Not a bad place to eat, Especially when it's neighbor can be astronomically expensive. There's LOTS of Miller High Life memoribilia WALL-TO-WALL. They even have little Tv's in the booths were you could sit down & eat. The appetizers are not bad. The fish fry wasn't bad at all, But as for the restrooms, That one toilet stall was SO disappointingly dirty, That either the drunken miscreants ruined the restroom facilities or the adults just basically failed toilet training.

Came here twice for lunch during the week. Big conference in the hotel so it filled up quickly. The Classic rock music was perfect for a midday meal- everything tastes better to the Rolling Stones! Miller life in the bottle was $4. I got the grilled fish tacos based on a fellow Yelp! photo and loved them!! They had slaw in them- enough to keep it crunchy but not overflowing to make it messy. I got the sauce on the side and added a small amount for more flavor. The side salad was refreshing and a good size portion. It had some cheese, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, raw purple onion and lettuce. Lots of dressing choices; I got the balsamic. My friend got the ham BLT one time and the chicken wrap another time. He seems to rave more about the wrap. The ham sandwich was so packed with ham that he could not finish it. His fries were wonderful. But the sweet potato fries were salty and sweet- delicious!! Both wait staff were helpful and informative about the menu. One was Alex. The manager seemed in hand when it was busy- helping out and keeping things moving.

Nothing special but a halfway decent amount of local beers on tap. The food is so so but there are worse places you could end up. I would actually say it is nice for a pub connected to large chain hotels. Usually from my experience they are not much more than a place you go because you don't feel like leaving the hotel. Not bad to meet people for a beer before you go out to dinner though.

This place could do better. I had fish with potato pancakes. Good choice- good flavors. So an A on the food. Service sucked, and there was no apparent reason. I went at an off time so there were minimal patrons BUT lots if wait staff. Not sure what happened to my waitress, but had to get my ice tea refilled myself from the bartender. I then received my bill from her with no offer for another drink refill, or even a smile. So whole food gets A, hospitality gets an F!

If you stay at the Hilton, don't even bother going there. The waitress literally, yes literally and not figuratively, was angry at me for asking for take out to bring to my room. She said that "All these people that want to eat take in their rooms are backing up our kitchen!" Another customer, not with me, told the waitress that she did not have to be so rude. Should I feel bad for offering this place my business? Guess so.

Pretty good place with a very convenient location whether you're on campus at Marquette or live downtown, it's a very walkable locale. Nothing super special onthemenu if I remember correctly, but good nonetheless! A hey, it's Miller Time, so you kind of have to give this place a try.

Miller Time Pub and Grill has a completely cozy, welcoming feel to it. It's rustic and warm, which is surprising for it's location (on the bottom floor of a hotel off of Milwaukee's main drag). We hung out in the raised area for parties. There were comfy chairs gathered around a few tables, and cocktail tables for standing around. Unfortunately, the area is a little cramped to allow people to comfortably move and mingle, so we wound up kind of wedged in our corner for the evening. But the company that I was wedged in with was lovely, so no harm done. The food is decent. We had a build your own burger bar, and the chicken wings. The chicken wings were pretty awesome, just the right amount of heat to them, but there was nothing special about the burger bar. It was fun to build my own sandwich, but the burgers themselves were a little on the dry side. Overall, I would enthusiastically return if a friend wanted to go, but wouldn't suggest it if the location were my pick.

Staff were a bit slow. Menu is entirely unimpressive. Food was hot but boring. Beer cheese soup was solidly cheesy and piping hot. Ham and cheese sandwich was a tad greasy and no need fir the third slice of white bread to add a filler. I won't return.

I've eaten here before in the past but tonight we actually walked in here tipsy. The place was packed. There was a band playing. The Bucks had just taken out Lyn-sanity. So the vibe was really good in here but there was no where to sit. I saw a manager and asked if he could open up the back room because it looked closed. He said give me one minute and actually came through and opened the room for us. I love good customer service! And it was smart to not turn away business. In fact, the other tables suddenly filled up after us. I can not believe no one didn't ask a staff member to open it. Our waitress was really cool even after I checked in on Yelp and realized we got 50% off an app if we bought 9 bucks in food. Deal...we are in!!! We asked her if there were any drink specials and she said "no" but then said "We do have Dark Blue Moon Pints for 2 bucks!" I had to try and not laugh because where I come from that is an amazing special. So we ordered a round of those! We also ordered the brat with fries (9 Bucks) and a loaded nacho platter with grilled chicken (50% off thanks Yelp)! The brat was terrible. I was embarrassed for the State of Wisconsin and Miller Brewing that they would serve something so bad. Honestly it is a zero star food item. The fries were the best thing on the plate. The loaded nachos were great. Except do not let the waitress up sell you to add grilled chicken. The chicken was very boring and tasteless. It almost ruined the nachos. The loaded nachos without chicken by themselves were amazing...the perfect drunk bar food. Luckily we were getting half off the nachos or I would be mad for the up sell by the waitress. Everything tastes better when it is half off. This place is a good option of you are looking for food after 10pm. The kitchen was open to 11pm...we just got our order in. Every other restaurant I called in the area told me that they stopped serving food at 10pm...how boring is that Milwaukee!!! My 4 stars is for late night food (I know 11pm is not really late but it is here in downtown Milwaukee) and for the manager seating us when I asked him for some help. Who am I kidding? I was drunk and I would have eaten a toasted shoe with cheese if it came with a beer. I hope my review helps. This place is not a bad choice if you need some food to fill in the alcohol. The energy was great in here with band...thanks to wireless we could see the guitar player when he decided to walk towards our back room. I also think everyone was happy with the Bucks winning over the Knicks too!!!

The beers are great and get have many local beers to choose from. The staff has good suggestions on beers to try according to your taste buds. The beer cheese soup I AMAZING, full of flavor, and not too thick and filling. In addition to the above the atmosphere is chill and fun, with a cozy pub feel.y

We went here for lunch while in town for a volleyball tournament. I called to check on the wait time and was able to put my name down and they text you when your table is ready. We were staying at the hotel so this was a great thing for us. Once we got the text and arrived we were seated right away. It was really busy as there was the parade in additon to the tournament going on. Our waitress was prompt and helpful with any questions we had about the menu and also with beer options. With how busy it was our food arrived promptly and everyone in our party was pleased with their meals. They have strandard items with a twist. Would return here again to try other things.

Descriptive phrase: friendly, townie bar downtown. Miller Time Pub is an enigma. It's located in a pretty bustling part of downtown, and actually within the Hilton Hotel, yet it feels like your neighborhood joint. I've been here twice now, once for happy hour and once for a Yelp event, and both times left with a smile on my face. There's ample pub-style seating throughout, and a fairly long bar as well. The decorations are all old-style Miller gear and are retro without being fake. The beer list is mainly Miller-inspired (obviously), but they also serve a number of regional brands as well. Their liquor selection is acceptable. The burger sliders I had at the Yelp event were juicy and delicious. The bartenders are quick and attentive, but not overbearing. The owner is a great guy as well. I've spent time talking with people at the bar who're in town for business or just stopping by for a drink, and everyone has been friendly and just looking to relax. If you want to really enjoy a beer in an inviting atmosphere, Miller Time Pub fits the bill.

This is a nice sports bar attached to the Hilton. The place was busy on a Wednesday night. We came here for a bite to eat prior to an event at the hotel. The menu has recently been redone (or so we were told) and items were paired with Miller suggestions. We appreciated that they also served beers other than Miller. The place was decorated with Miller memorabilia, and had plenty of tv screens. I had a $10 chicken fajita wrap with fries (an American take on fajita, with a chipotle sauce); it was great, I'd order it again. My friend had a tossed salad that looked really good.

Super Bowl party, it's a little disappointing yet. They were calling for a big party on there website, the bartender doesn't even know about what is going on. Ok. Now we stayed for Super Bowl ... No one once you are here gives a shit. You are here so it doesn't matter. We wanted a cool Super Bowl bar to watch the game, get in some pools or raffles, but it was misleading on line plus so many other bars around downtown area that we could have went to if the website wasn't so deceiving since here you have to ask for every single special. And bartender still doesn't want to give us a special . Even if we ask.:( Frederick Miller would turn over in his grave.

Atmosphere typical for sportsbar. What set this sportsbar apart from all the others was a server named Josh! Our every need was met and sometimes anticipated. He had a professional yet easy going manner that will continue to bring me back whenever I am in town!!

I sat a bar table and was greeted after about 5 minutes. I asked for and received tasters of two beers I had narrowed it down to. Good selection of beers. I started off with the seasonal Blue Moon Mountain Abbey Ale and is was very nice. I ordered the steak burger style themed burger with sweet potato fries. It came out promptly! It was perfectly cooked medium. I subbed Swiss instead of provolone. It had crispy onions, rosemary mushrooms under the melted cheese and steak sauce. It was fabulous! Melt in your mouth good and the fries were perfectly cooked. The only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars was because I went during happy hour and the only discount on beer was for the crappy big brewery beers like plain ol' Miller, not on any of the pints of craft beer. So beer was pricey.

I came for lunch on a Tuesday by myself, I was on break from a seminar. I was surprised they sat me at a full booth, most restaurants seat the singles at tiny tables in the bar. I appreciated the thought and the space. Beer cheese soup--I had to try it and was glad I did. I was expecting a thick soup but it was thinner with bits of real bacon and was not too heavy. I would go back just for that soup. I also ordered the Buffalo Chicken Salad with grilled chicken. It was chopped and tossed which I love, easier to eat this way in my opinion. The service met my needs, I had Dawn. She was friendly and knew how to do her job. At the end I requested to pay for my beer separate because I was expensing the lunch. She was more than happy to split it off. I will be back and would love to try one of the speciality burgers.

Great food, great people, great atmosphere. Traveling with work there are very few places I can say are my favorite. But Miller Time Pub and Grill are one of my favorites! Great midwest hospitality, it's easy to forget that just across the hall is a fine dining steakhouse, walking into the bar brings me to any midwest bar that happens to serve great food. The GM James is great! Attentive and anxious to make his customers happy!

Staff was rude and slow, the bartender behaved it was up to him what game to watch on TV even if a customer requested something else. The bartender was quick to serve employees who just got off shift though. Worse place to go in downtown Milwaukee!

Stay at the Milwaukee Hilton often - and have had dinner here a few times. This is a very nice bar for being attached to a hotel. Used to not be too impressed with the food but ate here last night and had a very good burger. The classic comes with two patties - seared just right and a great small bun. Just the right meat to bun ratio. Side salad was fresh and better than most - just don't expect too much creativity - but fresh and tasty. Based only on the burger, I'd say the food has improved with the changes about a year ago and a great bar for a hotel when it's way too cold to venture out. By the way - the Milwaukee Hilton is a nice hotel - great rooms, lobby, etc.

Normally I would have given this Pub a 4 star rating. In town on business, and staying at the Hilton (very nice) and the Pub is on the lower level. I had lunch one day, and dinner the next. The food is O.K. and the ambiance is nice. I asked the nice young people that were seating me if they had Kettle One, and they responded yes. Good start! I asked them if they had any stuffed olives with blue cheese, and they responded that it would be easy to arrange...very good! Once I was seated a waitress asked if I'd like something to drink. I asked for a Kettle One up with blue cheese olives. She seemed nervous and said" the Bartenders won't do that"...I asked are we still in America, and suggested the bartenders find fields that suit them better? She did bring some sad looking olives on a napkin after I asked her to bring me some olives and blue cheese, and I'd make my own. Mostly I feel sorry for her. Those bartenders are lucky I don't own the joint...heads would roll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Something has gone awry in the kitchen. The cheese soup which is normally phenomenally complex and awesome came out tonight tasting like queso cheese dip and was with a pack of saltine crackers. The pub burger which is moist and good was overdone and at best ok. I told two of the bartenders one of which I knew by sight who thanked me for the feedback and would let "them" know. I used to come here probably once a month for dinner.

Great selection of beers on tap, though who needs more than the Lakefront IPA? Also had the fish tacos, and they were fresh and fantabulous! Great food and a great beer list make this a place that I could imagine coming to even if I lived in town. Much better than your typical hotel bar food.

The service was outstanding. I wish I could remember the name of our waitress, but she had turquoise and tortoise shell glasses, very sweet girl. She was attentive to our needs made excellent suggestions, and gave us time to enjoy our meal. The cheese curds are AMAZING we ordered two! I really enjoyed the beer cheese soup as well. One of my friends got the salmon burger which was a little too undercooked for him but it looked absolutely delicious from where I was sitting. The wings were good too! Loved the blue cheese dip!

Wow. The food at this place is not good. My girlfriend and I were expecting more. I guess our expectations were too; far too high. We started with the "Loaded Nachos". These were not much better than what I could have gotten at a 7-11; same melted Velveeta type of cheese. It was swimming in the stuff and the bottom layer of chips was completely soaked and sogged out with the nastiness. Then we had the Mediterranean Hummus plate. It sounded exotic and delicious in the menu. It didn't come close to measuring up. The "garlic" hummus was barely ground-up garbanzos. In fact, there were several whole garbanzos still in the hummus when it was delivered to our table. There was no detectable garlic flavor. And there was very little flavor at all. There were some canned olives and canned "roasted" red peppers. And, there was some kind of reddish dip that tasted like dehydrated tomato paste. Overall, it was truly terrible. Finally, for an entree, we shared the hanger steak dish. It was okay. It was better than the appetizers but not worth the $20 I paid for it. I definitely would not go back here.

Decent pub. Louder than it needs to be. People had to talk extra loud to be heard over the music. Not too bad until it gets crowded. Food and beer selection is good though so if you're staying at the Hilton or passing by it's a good place to drop in. Good service.

The TOTS!! Like a crazy loaded potato skin on roids. Very good. Was here for lunch so didn't partake in the selection of brews but they were what you expect from bar run by miller. Had a buffalo chicken sandwich which was good. Nothing special. Server seemed like he was dazed and confused the entire time and messed up several things we asked. Basic things mind you. Nice environment and would give it a 2nd chance if nothing more for the TOTS!!

Pretty good for a hotel bar. We were staying in the Hilton and decided to end the night with another beer. Their beer list is extensive and well organized by type. I was bummed they didn't have Lakefront's Wisconsinite, but the waitress told us where we could find it. Service is pretty good. We ate lunch here the next day. We would have liked brunch but they don't offer it. They have a wide range of burgers. My Wisconsin Burger 4 cheeses were piled like a mountain on top of the patty. I figured, when in Wisconsin, eat cheese, right? I think I'd stick to just one variety from now on. My friend enjoyed her bleu cheese burger. Fries were just shoestring, nothing exciting. Overall it hits the spot and is convenient.

Had a yummy lunch at Miller Time Pub & Grill. The ambiance is definitely old Milwaukee, with plenty of cool old brewery memorabilia. They have an exceptional beer selection. Hubby had a Lakefront IPA, which he said was very good, nice and hippy. I had the Hacker Pschorr Brau Hefe Weiss, which was a perfect late summer wheat beer. Son James had a High Life...yes! The guys ordered the shredded chicken nachos, OMG, they were amazing! Chicken, sour cream, cheese sauce, guacamole, pico de gallo, onions, jalapeños, crispy chips...they were perfect. I had a cup of the cheese soup, and hot wings, which were perfect. The chive ranch dressing was excellent. Daughter had grilled salmon salad, with a nice selection of orange slices, asparagus, Greek olives...an interesting and delicious combination of flavors. Both guys had tasty burgers, accompanied with crispy fries. Overall a great meal, we'll be back!

Good place to grab a beer after work. Huge selection of on-tap beers. During lunch, it gets crowded. The speed of service varies. Can be very quick but I've had times where it's incredibly slow. Great food though. I'd recommend any of the burgers, but my favorites are the Butter Burger, Wisconsin Cheese Burger (4 cheeses), Chedder Burger and the Breakfast Burger. As a side, go with the beer cheese soup!

Our organization travels a lot, and I honestly can't remember a more pleasant experience than we had last night at Miller Time Pub & Grill. We brought over forty people in well past midnight on a Saturday and without a moment's hesitation the manager and staff opened up the back section and accommodated each and every one of our members with nothing but smiles. Thanks to Adam and his staff for an exceptional evening and great service. Highly recommended for groups.

We made a return trip to Miller Time last weekend on our way to northern Wisco for work and I'm really glad we stopped in! We were craving some delicious burgers and this is THE place in Milwaukee for that with many new burgers on the menu since my last visit less than a month ago. They've also added to their beer list on tap and in bottles. I had the BBQ Burger (burnt ends and onions atop a peppered 1/2 lb patty) and it knocked my socks off. My feet were cold the rest of the day. My colleague had the Amazing Wisconsin Burger (I think that's what it was called) and it had all sorts of different cheese on it. He was in queso heaven. The fries were nice and crispy and we shared an order of delicious cheese curds to round out the overall very healthy meal. As usual, the service was outstanding and there were a handful of NFL games on the beautiful HD TVs. Can't wait to make it back.

This place is way better than your average "hotel bar". We had drinks here two nights in a row on our most recent stay, and the atmosphere was good as well as the service. I haven't tried any of their food yet, but they have some good red wines.

Stopped in for a beer and a snack after returning from Chi-Town on the train. They have about 25 beers on tap, including some out of the ordinary in my experience in MKE. For example, I choose the Lakefront Cream City Pale Ale. They also have a good Belgian selection. I had avoided this joint in the past; expecting only Miller-Coors products. Appetizer menu wasn't huge, but I ordered a hummus plate with not only very tasty, seemingly homemade potassium, but also celery and carrot sticks. The hummus came topped with half red pepper and half giardineria. It was good. My only complaint is the Wisconsin-Syracuse basketball game starts in a few minutes and I am looking at a LPGA golf tournament on the tv in front of me. Their client-base is out-of-towners at the Hilton.

Staying in the Hilton for work, we were all way too tired one night to leave the hotel for dinner. The Miller Time Pub and Grill was right downstairs; good enough. Service was very friendly, both in seating us and with our server. The beer menu was a really nice, easy-on-the-eyes layout done by beer category. I like to order local when I travel, so it was nice to see some good local selection other than just Miller products. I got a Lake Front Pale Ale that was pretty tasty. We waited a little too long for our food. They were busy, but not exactly packed when we ordered, so I'm not sure what was taking so long. My veggie burger was lacking. No offense, Wisconsin, but so far I've not had a good veggie burger in the whole state. Two of my co-workers for turkey burgers; one liked their, the other was unimpressed. The fourth person got a hamburger and said it was decent. I snagged a few fries from someone's plate; the fries were awesome. I, however, had subbed for beer cheese soup. So excited to be having beer cheese soup while back in WI, I was disappointed with the quality. The soup was lukewarm and way too thick (probably because it wasn't hot). It was also lacking the flavor I was hoping for. Not an epic fail, but I walked away only satisfied with my beer and the few fried I stole.

My husband and I stayed at the Hilton Saturday night to attend the wedding of our cousin. After the wedding and boozing since 3pm, I was a little hungry and wanted something to eat before turning in. We stopped in to Miller Time Pub to inquire if they were still serving food at this late hour (probably around midnight). Cheerfully, the hostess answered yes and we were immediately led to a booth of our choosing. Moments later, we were greeted by a friendly waitress. I told her about my new love and appreciation of the State cocktail (the old fashioned). I asked her to have it made in her favorite style. My husband and I decided to split a burger...the Juicy Lucy with sweet potato fries. Sara Jo (the server), not only brought me an excellent Old Fashioned, but had our burger split for us in the kitchen with a generous amount of sweet potato fries for each of us. She also brought us some ranch dressing upon request. The burger and sweet potato fries were maybe the best I've had in a loooong time. As good as the food was, however, it really was the very nice, down-to-earth and non-judgemental attitude of Sara Jo that really made it a great finish to our evening. I work in the industry myself and know that dealing with people who have been drinking all day (like us) and splitting a burger (not exactly a big order) can be tiring. She was awesome and if we lived in Milwaukee we'd come back often just to have her take care of us. Keep doing what you're doing, Sara Jo. I hope your management realizes that you are a super star.

When friends suggested we go here for dinner, I was skeptical. I mean, it is a hotel restaurant. We were seated quickly at a booth and given menus. The beer menu is confusing as it looks impressive, but many beers are categorized wrong. There was a lot of confusion about using my Yelp check-in deal for a $1 pint, which I was given, but only got $1 off of a pint. Considering the drama to get that far, I was letting it go. I'm giving it 4 stars because the food was really good. All of the burgers can be substituted with chicken breast, black bean patty, turkey burger of a balsalmic portabella mushroom cap. I had the cave aged blue cheese burger, substituting the beef with portabella. I got a huge sandwich with two mushroom caps that had a good amount of balsalmic flavor, filled with a quality blue cheese. I would definitely get that again. My dining companions seemed to equally enjoy their burgers. If I'm craving a creative sandwich, I'll definitely have Miller Time Pub in consideration.

The quality of the food at the Miller Time Pub is far beyond anything you could expect from a restaurant clearly designed to get you to enjoy beer. ALL of the beer. Forever.

Nice little pub in the Hilton downtown. The burgers are decent, the curds are super good. Yeah, it's pricy because it's in a hotel and has a captive audience. The interior is nice, the servers are good, and the beer choices are decent.

Thoroughly enjoyed the DOUBLE ORDER of WINGS w/CHIPOTLE BBQ sauce and HARVEST WHEAT BEER. Couldn't ask for anything more for Monday Night Football, except for a win, maybe. Prompt, friendly service at the bar. Great beer suggestion while waiting for wings to go. Monkey is likely to return for bar food whenever in town on business.

I'm just going to recommend you not come here. This wasn't the worst restaurant I've ever been to, but it certainly wasn't the best. We came down to the Miller Time Pub because we were staying at the Hilton right above. Big mistake. Just pay some extra money and go to the steak house or something because everything here was just blah. Service: Awful. There weren't very many people in the restaurant when we arrived around 8 so we were shocked when our server took almost 10 minutes to even acknowledge that we had sat down. Of course, by this time we had already made our drink and dinner selections, but she only took our drink order and ran away before we could tell her what we wanted to eat. The service was spotty for the rest of dinner and we had to literally get up and ask the bar tender for our check at the end of the meal when we were totally sick of waiting. Selection: Outside of Miller products, the selection was small. They had a full bar but no cocktail menu, so you just need to know what you want. Why are the miller on tap beers so expensive? This stuff should cost $2 a pint since you make it here and ship it approximately 10 blocks to serve it in this bar. You'd think that would cut down on overhead, but apparently not. The food menu was equally tiny so you better want a burger, fish and chips or a salad because that's about all they have. Food: Cheddar Ale Soup was really good (this is where star #2 comes in). I also had a Caesar Salad, so I think I picked a pretty good meal. The salad was nice, crisp and fresh so no complaints there. My boyfriend had the chicken tender meal and complained of its size. Since it was served in a stupid basket (for presentation, I assume), there was hardly anything that came out from the kitchen. Blah all around. Avoid if you can and just go somewhere else near the hotel. There's way better options in downtown Milwaukee, especially if you have a car.

So i have to hand it to Miller Time Pub and Grill the renovations are spectacular. Exposed brick with old timey photos. This place added some class. Apparently this place is rolling out as a chain now in all the Hiltons. That's cool bring a little Milwaukee across the nation. The general manager seemed like a neat guy the type of guy that you wouldn't mind sharing some jokes with and having a beer thats a plus. There's was a crazy lots of us at this place and the server we had was really fast, efficient, and even joked which is great since she was in need and under pressure - good job! This is definitely a place I would bring my co workers to after work its classy, fun, laid back and had awesome wings seriously so good. Im not sure what the standard price fare is here but what i do know is Happy hour is half off all taps so come on down after 1 and enjoy numerous taps beer at cheap prices. Oh! ya the tap menu was pretty good btw just saying over 20 beers for sure wonderful. Thanks again Miller Time see ya with some co workers soon.

The cheese curds here are very good. They come with a chive ranch sauce and a few little salami sticks. My hubby got the tempura chicken tenders. They came with a honey mustard sauce and were very tasty. The others in our party ordered the brat, the black and blue salad, and the nachos. Everyone enjoyed their food. The portion size was reasonable and the prices were a little high, but it is priced in line with what you'd expect to find at a bar/grill in a hotel. Overall we had good service. My water kept getting refilled without having to ask or hunt down a waitress.

This place is just average for me. The atmosphere is pretty good with plenty of seating & cheerful service, but the food is just on the so-so side. A group of us from the office have been to MTP after work every so often, mainly because it's only 2 blocks from the office. There's always seating available, and the "back room" has a pool table ($) & a dart board, which is a nice addition to the pub. Food: Most of the time, we'll just split appetizers and have a few beers. In my opinion, the nachos are just average, and wings (and the sauces) are sub-par. In fact, one of my co-workers had a chicken wing that was still raw, and was skeptical of eating any more wings after that. Best app we had was the BBQ chips - good flavor, crispy & thickly cut chips. Beer: They do have a pretty good selection, which are all laid out on a wonderful beer placemat/chart. Obviously being named "Miller....", they'll have all the regular Miller products. They also have most Leinie's & the last time I went they had 6 different Lakefront brews. I give this diversity good marks. Service: Cheerful, prompt & attentive. We asked her for recommendations & the waitress was pretty familiar with the menu. As we were ending the meal, the waitress asked if we wanted separate checks or all on one bill. HIGH MARKS for that in my book! I've been in way too many groups where the staff don't ask & we end up playing the "who has cash?" game. All in all, I'd go back for a quite beer/app, but isn't my first choice of locales.

A lot of mediocre reviews. I had the Fire Burger and it was really good. Maybe I got lucky. Definitely would try the place again.

I ordinarily would not have submitted a review for this place; it is, after all, just a hotel sports bar, and it would be silly to make too much of it either way. however, i feel a moral obligation to warn others about the Cheesy Ribeye Grinder, perhaps the single worst sandwich ever vended for real money. both my friend and i ordered one; neither of us finished. it was truly an insult to the palate, the wallet, and sandwiches everywhere, without exaggeration. ---- i want the record to reflect my msg back to the manager: "i appreciate that, lindsay. the staff at all times was great, incidentally. it's just a really bad sandwich."

Fish and chips were amazing, comes with potato pancakes, apple sauce and cole slaw. The fish pieces were massive and did not have too much batter like they seem to everywhere else. Friend had the beer cheese soup, if you like to eat queso with a spoon go for it, not that edible. The next day I was there for lunch and had the pork sandwich that was by far my favorite. Had the side salad instead of fries....kind of dissapointing, where's the cheese Wisconsin??? The only reason I ate here is because I was staying at the hotel that is attatched. I would come here again even I didn't stay at this hotel because the food and service were better than average!

Nice stiff drinks but the food has declined from last year. Fish fry was really greasy & served with literally two bites of coleslaw (seriously!) One day the burger was well prepared and tasty the next day greasy & sloppy. Managers need to work on consistency. I had to stop recommending for food to my students & collegues during the recent Bead & Button show.

Short overnight in freezing ass Milwaukee. Walked down a block from the Doubletree and spotted a pretty busy place located next to the Hilton called the Miller Time Pub. Sat at the bar and was promply greeted and served a fantastic IPA reccomended by the friendly bartender. I like to ask the staff what they reccomend for local favorites when I'm out of town, when they hessitate or don't know, your in trouble. At the Miller Time without hessitation I was directed to the IPA and their special Pub burger as can't miss options. He explained the taste and preperation of each just to make sure I would like them. The food and drink both exceeded my expectations and after 2 pints and dinner the tab was $21. Thoroughly enjoyed my food, beer and time socializing with the friendly staff and patrons at the bar. Not sure why the reviews are weak but that was not the case for me, enjoy!

Not too bad for a hotel bar and restaurant. It is spacious and sports themed. The food and drink prices are pretty standard; the food is so-so. Convenient if you are staying in the hotel, but I'd look elsewhere if you have the time and transportation.

Pretty good fora hotel bar. Liked that they had several Lakefront brewery beers on tap. The fish tacos we're pretty good and sweet potato fries were nice. Seemed like several locals were there and had a nice casual feel.

Busy place for a Thursday night.. Good location for travelers.. Reasonable prices and good ambiance and energy for a hotel bar.. 20+ choices of burgers which were great.. Service was subpar!

If you are wishing you had a butter burger and you're in downtown this is a quick and convienent place to pop by. It's your basic pub that happens to be on the bottom floor of the historic Hilton Hotel. Great beer selection and always pretty busy which is a good sign. Their butter burger is your basic one, but it oozes with the butter we Wisconsinites love. If you can't make it to A.J. bombers, Solly's or Sobelmans stop here.

Not sure why this place is getting such a bad wrap on yelp?? It is exactly what it looks like it is. A restaurant/bar with food and drinks that you would expect at any restaurant/bar. I personally sat at the bar for lunch. Enjoyed a burger and a coke. Service was great and food is exactly as expected for a pub. Thanks Miller Time pub.

Stopped in later in the evening and place was very busy but the bar staff made it my way pretty quickly after I arrived. Fish Fry was excellent!

Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive and there is Miller High Life on tap. Other than that this place should only get business because of the hotel attached. Locals should know to stay away from this TGIFridays and sports bar love child. My wife and some friends stayed at the hotel while we were in town for the weekend to go to the Wisconsin State fair and we wanted to have some drinks and throw darts on a Friday night. We hit up the Miller Time Pub as it had our two requirements: alcohol and darts. We make our way to the back of the bar where we find two dart boards positioned extremely close together in a corner. The pool table is right there as well so that the oche was at the ball return end of the table. There was a couple sitting at a table positioned directly where the oche should have been (it was missing from the floor). They were chatting and had what appeared to be two sets of typical bar darts on the table. Wanting to play and not seeing darts (we had forgotten to bring our own darts) we asked the manager if there were more darts. He found one in the office and we located another one or two behind the dart boards. The two sets the couple had were actually only five darts total. Quick count: 5 people, 2 dart boards, and 7 darts. Got it? The couple was polite and nice and we moved their table a little to help clear some playing room. Ok... so the games were fun. We love darts so no surprise there. We had several drinks and some shots and even played with some other people in the bar. All in all we had a good time but that's because we love hanging out together and throwing darts. Then the bill came. $180!!! We are from Chicago and hang out every week to throw darts in the CITY with our friends. Drinks in our neighborhood are $7 a pop, not cheap; however, we have NEVER had a bar tab that expensive even after similar nights (and worse) of partying. Our friend had just received a promotion at work so he offered to pick up the tab so I didn't get to see the itemized receipt; but seriously, $180!! WTF!? Bad decor, don't remember their being music, cramped gaming area, lack of gaming equipment, and ridiculously high prices have earned Miller Time Pub a spot on my black list. Save your money and get a 30 pack at the store and just get drunk in your hotel room. Or, better yet, find a local and get a recommendation for a REAL bar.

5.75 for a shot of Jameson and a ginger back! typical sports bar but the bar staff was super friendly to this out of towner and it didn't put a giant dent in my pocket. The burger was rather tasty too.

It's Miller time! Or is it!? A place that's called Miller Time has got to be awesome, right? Well, not so much. It was my first time here yesterday and I came in with high hopes for an extensive beer selection, great food, and that Miller experience Milwaukee is famous for. The beer selection is bleak considering it's a pub named after a brewing company. The food however, was excellent. I enjoyed the double stacker bacon cheeseburger, which boasts two 8 oz patties, cheddar cheese, smoked bacon served on a potato roll with fries. The double stacker is about as good as a burger can get. Apparently the old menu had it as a burger challenge. If you ate the entire double stacker and fries, you then received a free pint of beer. It was no longer on the menu, but the manager let my friend and I do it anyways. And the Miller experience, yeah, not so much. It is comparable to most any other pub and restaurant. Overall, it's a decent restaurant to try if you are looking for quality burger.

Spent about 9 hours in this joint in a 24 hour period for Nicky Buddy's Wedding on Oct 17th. Here's the Recap: Oct 16th 11pm to Oct 17th 2am: Enjoyed approx 4 pints of Blue Moon Winter Pumpkin Ale after my first Mehndi. It was their monthly special at $3.25 a pint and I found it refreshing and so crisp after having a single beam and coke and about 10-8 oz'ers of ML at the Mehndi a couple hours earlier. Heard 3 Taylor Swift songs while here tonight and loved every second of it. Oct 17th 11am to 1pm: Stopped in to watch the Badgers play Iowa before the wedding started at 1pm. There was one bartender there that obviously wasn't having as good a time I was having (he spiked the food menus and would exhale hard whenever we asked for something). Maybe its because he wasn't invited to Nicky Buddy's wedding. Oh well, I guess I'd be pissed too. Bloodys were pretty tasty and the Lieneys Red is $2 all day every Badger game day. I had the daily food special of the Pub Burger (grilled onions, cheddar, on a burger) and though it great. The fries were sorta cajun-y and came with it. BLOWN had the chicken fingers and they tasted like the chicken when one would order sweet and sour chicken at a Chinese restaurant. They had a Lieneys Original batter. I liked them. Oct 17 3pm to 5pm: Still cant get enough of the MTP. Pounded about 4 pints of Lieneys Red and debated about switching to Vod & Red Bull (V&R) in an attempt to relive in my mind the bachelor party from this wedding in Vegas. Oct 17th 11:59pm to Oct 18th 2am: Had 1 pint of Light before switching to V&R. Talked about wearing capes and reminiscing about O'Shea's. Overall, a pretty nice bar to spend 9 hours in if you're in town for a wedding. Congrats Nick & Kavita.

It's unfortunate I have to write this because I used to like this bar very much when I was living in Milwaukee. However, last Sunday myself and 8 friends went to Miller Time after my bachelor party. I paid for the entire tab for everyone totaling around $200 with my debit card. The charge went through the day after as it should have. However, Miller Time put a hold for $5 over the entire bar tab amount on my checking account for over 4 entire business days. Never in my life have I heard of a bar or restaurant putting such a large hold for such a long time. There were 4 days in between the time when the payment went through and when they removed the hold. This is tantamount to theft. It caused me undue hardship because I was $400 in the hole for a $200 tab. That is unacceptable and unethical business practice. Then when I spoke to their accounting department they were unhelpful and tried to say that it was my own bank that put the hold on the money. That make absolutely no sense. Think about it, why would my bank put a hold on money for a business they do not bank with and against one of their own customers. They were very unhelpful and had no answers. If you go to Miller Time, pay in cash. They still might ask you for the full amount in collateral for a week because that seems to be their business model.

It's your typical bar food, not bad or excellent, just average. Kind of pricey, but I guess that's expected in a hotel restaurant. I tried it since it's close to where I live, but I don't think I'll be back unless I really want bar food and don't want to go far.

Not at all what it used to be. Food is cafeteria quality now. Ghost of its former self.

Expect to wait to be seated, to be served and especially expect to wait for your bill. The burgers are very good but the service stinks. I ordered two soups to go, waited over 20 minutes for soup and once I got back into my room I found that the serving bowls where only 1/3 of the way full. What a waste of hard earned money!!
