Gooooood pizza. One of the best sweet sauce pizzas around. Crisp thin crust. Toppings are fresh and the cheese isn't that soft no taste junk some pizza places use. I recommend this place to everyone.

Marco's Pizza reminds me of my childhood. It was the pizza my parents would indulge us in every now and again. When my brother and I got older, we ditched the pizza (whose crust was occasionally burned) and headed for their cheeseburger baskets. Oh, heaven. Those burgers are massive and completely delicious. Buried under your pile of fries would be a pickle, made hot from it's location. It's literally a hole in the wall. I'd be surprised if you could fit four customers in their waiting area. There's just a pickup window and the kitchen. It looks dirty and the staff was never super-friendly or efficient, but still....memoriiiies. :)

From a small, hole-in-the-wall joint, this place has created enough of a reputation for itself that this was the pizza my husband yearned for all the years he lived elsewhere. Me, I'm not a huge pizza fan, but I can enjoy a slice or two of their "EBO" pie.

Not the worst pizza I've ever had. Ordered the large pizza and garlic bread for $20 meal recently. The pizza had a crust with nice consistency and the cheese and other toppings were very good, but the sauce was way too sweet for my taste. The garlic bread looked and tasted like it cost $1.99 in the frozen food aisle at pick n save. Overall we got a lot of food for $20. Nice to support a local business, and the food was ready when they said it would be. Just too bad it didn't taste better.

Order this pizza for a party and every single person who ate the sausage pizza got sick and had the craps! Called Marcos and they basically said "oh well". Go to Champion Chicken and spare your butt the anguish!

Delicious pizza. The staff can sometimes be less than friendly, but if you're looking for real, fresh pizza Marcos is great.

We had Marco's for the first time on Friday (delivered) and we were delighted with the food. My wife and daughter had the pizza wihich had loads of cheese with the regular hand-tossed crust. The crust was chewy but not underdone. The sauce is the highlight of the pizza,...sweet but very fresh tasting...truly authentic! I had the 1/2 lb. bacon cheeseburger with the fixings. It was juicy, not greasy, and came with an abundance of fries. We look forward to trying their other items, especially their fried chicken and Italian dishes.

If you are a pizza fanatic you will be happy you tied Marco's. it's a quality pie with good toppings but the sauce it relatively sweet. I prefer a more seasoned sauce but hey, they do a damn good job, and their pizzas are always consistent. I would recommend to anyone.

Good pizza plain and simple. I love their extra cheese pizza. You can really taste the tomatoes in their sauce. The customer service can be improved, but overall the pizza makes up for this.

Ordered there for the first time since 1959. I live less than a mile away, and I am really getting sick of the quality of the local pizza hut on 76th and Burleigh. It took three calls to order my food. Once, the guy picked up and when I told him I wanted food for carryout, the phone went silent and I hung up. The second time, I got a busy signal. The third time, a subtlety rude guy picked up the phone and finally took my order. I was really surprised and I actually felt uncomfortable to order from this place. He didn't even say "Goodbye." He just literally hung up haha. Honestly, the rudeness adds a charm to the place though. But the pizza was pretty freaking good. As most of the reviewers are saying, the pizza actually has sauce. And the sauce is the best part. The pizza is cheesy, fresh, and very tastyI am glad this place is so close to my house, I'll probably go here instead of pizza hut or little caesars from now on. The building is very very sketchy. Its basically a really small waiting area with a flickering fluorescent lighting, and a window to the kitchen. Frankly, I never really feel safe in any of the other local pizza places anyways. At the little caesars on 92 and capitol, you have to order your food behind 8 inch thick bullet proof glass. And at pizza hut, the cashier is inside a steel jail cell. But don't be shy, this is some of the best pizza in the city and it is worth a try.

I'd give them 5 stars if the crusty phone guy wasn't such a ass. Let's be honest here. The rollos are of the chain good and the sweet sauce rocks!!! Stick with Italian choices as deep fried chicken is greasy and overpriced. It reminds me of soup nazi on Seinfeld cause the phone guys such an ass. Rude, burnt out and snarkie. Not the cheapest pizza or the fastest delivery or the biggest portions....I'll keep ordering cause it's that good.

Marco's pizza is thick, doughy, greasy, cheesy, and HEAVY. When you pick up a slice, it kind of just flops over under its own weight. It reminds me of the gooey pizza the Ninja Turtles enjoyed in the early 90s: pizza you can order in and just sit with all night in your sewer home and then still have a ton left over in the morning because it is so darn FILLING. At first I thought $15-$20 was a little steep for a large pizza, but the price was quickly justified when I went to pick it up and felt a good 10lbs of pizza in my hands. It's carryout and delivery only, so you'll have to call ahead. On the phone you'll be greeted by a gruff voice that wants to know your name, your order and nothing else. These guys are no-nonsense and they make good pizza.

I got my first pizza last night after reading the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised to have an opportunity to get a local produced pizza. It took just 20 minutes, had several fresh toppings and tasted great. It was well worth the experience. I will check to see what else they have on the menu.

Marco's makes one of the best tasting pizza pies in the city, but their product is rough around the edges. Food quality is inconsistent with crust frequently burned and/or bubbly. Customer service is often brusque bordering on rude. And pizzas are served wrapped in a distasteful paper bag. Despite their faults I'd recommend their food any day over any pizza chain. (Their baked chicken wings are also very good.)
