If you're looking for authentic Japanese dishes... This is not the place to go. However, they do offer large filling proportions of westernized takes on Japanese foods. Personally, I went for the "chicken teriyaki," which is basically your choice of rice, under a bed of vegetables and teriyaki chicken. Basically an alright meal. If your craving something that's affordable and good... This is your spot.

If your looking for authentic japanese food and think you will find it at the mall, check your common sense. However for what it is, cheap sweet teriyaki flavored sauce and nice portions, it fills the need admirably. Its my favorite foid court eating spot. Yum!

Ever since Sakkio Japan closed in the Grand Avenue mall I've been coming here for my teriyaki chicken fix. I always pay the extra $0.99 for the double meat because to me the regular portion isn't enough. You have a choice of fried rice or white rice and vegetables or potatos. You can also get extra teriyaki after they cook your food.

Ok, so the veg options at the mall aren't really happening. This place is cheap but they have "teriyaki vegetables" and "teriyaki noodles" for like $3 each. I get both. They ask if i want teriyaki sauce on my vegetables. umm... okay... I kinda figured it would have it on it already, otherwise it would just be "vegetables." The sauce was OK. The noodles were just that, just noodles. The vegetables were otherwise bland, and had no tofu or anything. Kept me alive for another day but I definitely felt dirty afterwards.

A perfect example of a mid-westernized, fast-foodized ethnic food fail in a mall food court setting. Huge unhealthy portions not remotely resembling Japanese noodles.
