A friend and I were recently wandering the Ward and noticed Kasana's super cute turquoise-colored patio furniture outside. She mentioned she had recently seen them on Groupon and was curious to see the spot. We walked to the lower level, intending to grab coffee to go, but we were so charmed by the little spot that we opted to stay for a bite. We each ordered the Nutella Nana Croissant, which is pretty much what it sounds like -- homemade Nutella, banana, and Les Freres cheese on a croissant for $5 -- and it was the perfect afternoon pick-me-up. They also serve Valentine coffee, which is sooo good. Our server was wonderfully friendly and helpful, answering our questions about the cafe and the menu. She mentioned that a number of breakfast items are available to-go for those in a rush, and they're planning to extend hours this summer for better dinner service. We hope this cafe does well - it seems like a nice addition to the Third Ward.

Some people call it local and organic, I call it lousy. The drinks were good, the food was pathetic. We walked down the street to eat a real dinner. There are too many good restaurants in downtown Milwaukee to waste your time and money here. Stay away.

The place is completely unexpected. First off who'd think they'd make the best martini in town, but they do - and they make it with love. I have never met such pleasant servers. They make you feel like a long lost friend and as a result the service is beautifully personalized. Whomever trains the staff does an outstanding job. The food is unexpected, as well. Amazing gourmet pizza, killer mediterranean, a cheese board to die for with lavendar-infused honey? I haven't had everything on the menu because I'm stuck on the pizzas and the cheese board, but all the dishes look and smell amazing. The owner Ana will tell you what's fantastic today, what they just finished making, and what's brand new - and she's the warmest creature you'll ever meet. Sitting downstairs, having a drink and something to eat and visiting with Ana - it's like being home if people at home treat you like a rock star and cook killer food just for you. It's a real gem in Milwaukee, and especially the Third Ward.

We were looking for a place in the area to get Sunday breakfast. We were at the Public Market the day before so wanted to try something different. This place seemed quiet and affordable. Nice summer day so we sat outside. We each got the fritata, it was very good. Knocking a star off because the orange juice tasted like the cheap stuff that doesn't need refrigerating from a school cafeteria.

So there she was, the waitress on her knees changing the sidewalk signboard with chalk. "What have you got to offer two strangers who are looking for a good place to eat," I asked. "What the heck," we thought. Down the basement stairs we went. Charming people. Lovely setting. Nicely prepared food. Reasonable prices. Good choice! Oddly, they serve breakfasts; lunch as well; dinner was an afterthought. Shortcomings? Lot of emphasis on organic, but not necessarily on healthy food. Somewhat limited offerings as well. However, ya'll, the place is worth a try. You might just find your favorite entree or a Brazilian approach to Tiramasu. We'll be back with friends.

Out walking one day during my lunch break with a friend, I pointed to the sidewalk sign for Kasana, and suggested that we should try that place one of these days. And she told me not to bother that the food was expensive and not very good. But a few weeks later, I decided to ignore my friend's word of warning and try the place out for myself. Boy, was that a mistake!! When I arrived, I wasn't sure if I should seat myself or wait for someone to seat me. I asked for direction about this from one of the waitresses and she pointed to a table at the back of the restaurant. So I grabbed it and was ignored by both servers -- until I finally grabbed my jacket and started to leave. One of them asked if I had ordered yet -- to which I replied that I still hadn't even received a menu. And that I would be taking my business elsewhere. I have absolutely no idea whether the food is good or whether it's expensive. I do know that the service (or lack thereof) was atrocious. How can a place like this even expect to survive in this market? People -- service is KEY!!

Ana is lovely! Her menu is eclectic and I've had positive experiences with my meals both times I've been here. Ana had a wine-meal pairing around Nov last year and I just loved it!

I found out about Kasana on Small Business Saturday in the Third Ward last Fall - they were offering a variety of local products for sale to help other small local businesses which I found very generous so I signed up for the email list At that time they were offering catering and pop-up service on occasion. Last week I received an email from Kasana promoting their full-time cafe was now open and they were offering an amazing Mother's Day Brunch menu. Both my partner and her mother had been looking for the right establishment to make our Mother's Day special so I forwarded it on and they made a reservation for today's brunch. Well let me say, it blew away my expectations. Our waiter greeted us with a smile, sat us at our table for 10 (we had 4 kids with us ranging in age from 11 to 7) and made sure we all had drinks and starters. She also gave us a lot of information about the owner, Ana, saying she was from Argentina and that the food had a a lot of Brazilian and Argentinian influence. They have a beer and wine selection that pairs nicely with their foods and juices and mimosas for the kids and moms. I had no idea what to expect of the food but was so pleased upon the first few bites of several dishes from the buffet. It was gourmet, organic, fresh and had lots of exotic and bold flavors. There was meat dishes (grass-fed beef, chicken and shrimp dishes) and vegetarian dishes of caramelized vegetables, wild rice, mashed potatoes, a fresh green salad, carrots melange, homemade kale chips, homemade nuttella croissants... oh, and the most delicious caramel, banana french toast using homemade bread I have ever had (and the kids couldn't stop eating!) The dessert buffet was also impressive with a chocolate mousse that had a hint of amaretto with a cream cheese and fresh fruit topping, champagne apples/pairs, there was more but i couldn't eat it all. I will wrap this up with the fact that it was WELL worth the price of $28/adult and $12/child - our kids easily ate that much. The service was great, they cleared our plates quickly, filled our water, checked on us regularly, the owner included - she even made the grandpa at our table a Caipirinha and told us about it being Brazil's national cocktail. Well done Kasana - we will be back!

Found this place by accident one day while strolling through the 3rd Ward. Dropped in for brunch. Food was excellent and service was great. The owner came to our table to say hello and check on us. The atmosphere here is fantastic and I can imagine it would be an excellent venue for a special event. I've been back a couple of times since that first visit. Definitely a winner.

Really fantastic food! The brussels sprout are super yummy! Service was good, and it's really nice that the owner makes rounds to talk to everyone. I'll definitely come back here the next time I'm in Milwaukee.

It's elegant, fresh and yummy. I love the decor, setting, music and drinks. The food items I ordered (same every time I went there) were very good. The pizza wasn't impressive as I thought it would be. The service is excellent and so is the owner! :)

Was served incorrect app and waitress was completely clueless. The 'chorizo' tapas was bland and appeared to be a local brat sliced up and put in a bland broth with a few green bell peppers. empanadas (we ordered chicken and received just cheese) appeared to be something I could buy in the frozen food section at the local pic-n-save. not third ward quality! And live jazz on thur/fri 6-9 didn't see or find that at all? thanks for a disappointment.....it was really quiet at least if your looking for that, we were there at 8pm with only one other couple in the place on a Friday night.

I have eaten here twice and it was delicious both times. Everything on the menu sounds appetizing. We are gluten-free and there are many items here that are naturally gluten free and delicious. The staff is very nice. Both indoor and outdoor eating options were great. The indoor seating is so chic, but not uncomfortably so. The best thing is that the food is non-GMO, local and organic. It tastes happy and my body thanks me every time I eat here.

Very pretty place - warm reception and everything was delicious. Loved the Empanadas de Queso, Manjar (Brussels sprouts), and Chicken Fricassee. Finished up with the best Tiramisu ever. Can see this becoming a regular stop!

I have a hard time giving even one star. The Pão de Queijo should be the star of the show. $10 for three hard, preformed balls made in mini cupcake tin. Absolutely an embarrassment to Brasilian Pão de Queijo. Bolinhos de Bacalhau were ok. With such a limited menu, I was hoping for perfection. This was not to be, pass on Kasana folks !!!!!

I've only visited Kasana twice, but I've sampled their food at various events around town. The samples have always been great! My first visit was over a year ago with Ron R. and Stephanie R. for the Wednesday night Pizza special. Kasana features 2 or 3 different specialty pizzas. The pizzas were good, but didn't make me feel compelled to go back for pizza. Last night I attended a birthday gathering over Happy Hour. Happy Hour specials included two small plates for $5 each, Pao de Queijo and Empanadas. The Pao de Queijo are Manchego Cheese Bread Balls served with a blueberry and champagne dipping sauce. Normally, there are 3 to an order for $8. The Happy Hour version included 2 pieces for $5. The bread balls were crispy on the outside with a melted cheese filling. They were great on their own, but the blueberry and champage sauce added a great dimension. Empanadas come with 3 pieces normally for $11. The Happy Hour portion is still 3 pieces, but for $5. You can choose from chicken and corn (pollo), grass fed ground beef (carne), or goat cheese (queso). I ordered the ground beef. They were excellent, crispy and perfectly seasoned! They were also served with a chipotle chimichurri sauce, which I didn't find spicy, but I liked the flavor. There were also 3 drink specials including sangris, caipirinha, and another that I forget, but they were also $5 each. I ordered the sangris. It was a bit bitter sipping from the glass, but when I sipped from the straw, it was very sweet. I wasn't expecting to have to stir it, but after I figured it out, I did and the flavors balanced. Kasana often has live musicians. Last night featured a keyboard player and singer. I believe he started at 6:00, so you can go for Happy Hour and stay for dinner and live music without having a late night out on a work night. I would gladly go back and I plan to go back to try the dinner menu.

Wonderful place. I always feel welcome throughout my stay here. The food is nice and well-paired with similar flavors. The food focuses on Argentinian and Brazilian. Be prepared to eat a lot of yucca chips. They use these as "filler food". The ambiance is pretty nice. Lots of light for being in the basement. I felt the music was a little loud and piercing. They could use a better sound system.

Perfect place for date night or just come here for the best Empanada's Can't believe I didn't write a review about this place. I also can't locate the pictures I took so I may just go back there again The ambiance is quite different than usual restaurant settings but very pleasant. I love this place just because of the fancy couch seating they have. Makes me feel beautiful :) This is a great place for small groups as well so you can share. Hands down the best empanadas, loved the chicken wild rice and all other appetizers we tried. We were amazed by how big the deserts were as this is a small plate dining restaurant and everything was pretty small portions except the giant Tiramisu desert

If you're ever in the 3rd Ward of Milwaukee and you want great homemade food this is your place! It was hands down the best food we had while we were there! Great Customer service, beautiful atmosphere, and the food... you can tell it's made with love (homemade). Thank you for a great experience while we were in town!

Kasana surprised us...in a good way. I was looking for something new to try, that we could walk to (even though my husband pointed out that by taking a short drive somewhere, we would have spent less time outside) and I chose Kasana, after walking past it maybe 40 times. Argentinian and Brazilian fusion...who knew? It's an interesting underground space, with some chairs just for show, and hints of color throughout. We shared the palmitos salad (good, but I wasn't a fan of the golf dressing. it reminded me a lot of mayonnaise, and I am already averse to dressing on my salads most of the time, but if you're not like me, you may like it). We shared the high temp cornish hens. This was awesome. The skin tasted like lemon, and the chicken/hen pieces were over garlic bread. The garlic bread was actually a little too drenched for my taste, so I let my husband have the other 2 pieces; I was fine with 1. We shared the "queso" which was described as grilled cheese with tomato jam. Silly me, I was envisioning a grilled cheese sandwich, but in fact this was 2 large pieces of cheese, that must have been grilled. There were crackers, on which to spread the tomato jam, and put the cheese on that. The sweetness of the tomato jam worked well with the saltiness of the cheese, but it didn't really resemble tomatoes. at all. that's okay, it was still delish. My husband got a glass of wine, and then we ordered an argentinian cookie for dessert. We actually ordered 2, because only 1 comes with the order (at $3.50 a piece), but we didn't want to share a cookie. They ended up giving us 2 for the price of 1, which was pretty great of them....$3.50 is a little high in my opinion for what this cookie was. It was good, and it obviously took care to put two cookies together with chocolate ganache, and then encrust the sides...but they're small. Still, we left $40 later (pre-tip) satiated, and ready to brave the cold.

Came here for Easter brunch with the family . The decor was defiantly nice and elegant . The staff was all super friendly and went above and beyond . We had made a reservation and due to other tables taking their time , we had to wait about 20 plus minutes to sit ( defiantly not the restaurants fault at all- just pokey eaters ). They saw we were getting ancy and they started searching for extra high top tables and chairs to put together for us . We said we were fine with waiting for a low top table, but the gesture was genuinely nice and shows how much they care about their customers . I'm only not giving them five stars because of their brunch options. They had a good mix of traditional and ethnic food , I suppose I just wish there was more options for the traditional kid in me . They didn't have any egg options and only one type of pancake with walnuts and blueberries inside . That being said , it was the best quality of brunch food I've had in a long time . I defiantly need to go back to try their normal menu !

I was quite impressed with Kasana. We had some of their catering at a previous Yelp event and enjoyed it, so we decided to give them a try for dinner. Interior: A The dining room is beautiful - right out of the pages of a design magazine. Lots of white, with chandeliers and touches of turquoise and candles everywhere. There are some unique touches too - like fluffy lap robes and big cozy chairs. Menu: B+ It's mostly small plates - traditional tapas with a Brazilian twist. They have lots of choices for those who are vegetarian and/or gluten free. Food: A We tried 5 small plates: chicken empanadas, beef empanadas, chicken croquetas, shrimp and cheese fritters. (There was a fancy name for that last one but I don't remember it.) I really enjoyed everything we had - the cheese business and the chicken empanadas were my favorites. All of our dishes were nicely presented & full of flavor. Wine: A It's a smaller list but thoughtfully chosen and well priced. Several bubbly choices make me very happy. Overall Value: B Small plates are generally in the $9-12 range but the portions are on the smaller side. We chatted with the owner for a few minutes and it sounds like dinner service is somewhat recent (3 months). Tapas are hot right now and Kasana has a unique spin on small plates - I really hope they can get the word out as the dining room was pretty empty (we were early and it was Food Truck Nite). Kasana is absolutely worth a try - our food was delicious, the space is gorgeous and the owner is passionate about what she does. I will certainly be back (because empanadaaaassssss!!!)

We randomly stopped here for happy hour and were very pleased. Some of the best tapas I've experienced. The staff was very welcoming and the patrons who sat with us at the bar were a lot of fun.

I love the interior design of this place but the food is just not up to par. Small portions and quite expensive for what you get. A few items were good (duck, empanadas) but not good enough to come back. It is a "tapas" style menu, but many of the dishes repeat the same sauces and accompaniments so everything just seems the same. Ordered quite a few different dishes but still left hungry and unsatisfied. The place was totally empty during what should have been dinner busy time. I will say- The drinks were good! My advice would be to cut the menu back to fewer items and focus on doing them really well.. As entrees, not tapas.

  • Jeff Y.

I enjoyed the atmosphere and the owner/hostess was wonderful and accomodating. The food was good but didn't suit me perfectly. The portions are small and great for tapas but slightly pricey for this. The biggest complaint is the speed of the service. Though we were seated quickly, the service was slow and inadequate. Waters were late to be refilled, took a long time to get in our orders, and took about 30-45 minutes to get our food. Because of the small portions, I wanted to order more but was afraid of the wait. Overall it's a good place to have in downtown MKE. I wish the service was better and speedier. I think more staff can help with this problem.

The menu was varied and interesting when I went to Kasana over the weekend with friends. It was easy to make reservations and, when we needed to push back our time by 30 minutes, they took the change in stride. While I like the decor overall, the entrance seems awkward. There is a counter and the door, but that is not reception. The person who greeted us was also our waiter. He was earnest to a fault, but affable in his willingness to try so hard. Our party of three liked the menu options a great deal and, though it seemed a little pricey, we felt we got what we paid for in the quality and portions. The wine and drink options were extensive and pairings were easy to make if you drink alcohol. If not, the options are limited and not what one would hope for at the price point. For me, where things went wrong started when we were seated and saw the menu. Kasana is also a hookah bar and we didn't see that in any ads prior to reserving a table. I asked the waiter if we could avoid having hookah around us and he assured me we could. Ten minutes later, after ordering drinks, he asked us to move to another table in the corner where we could avoid the smoke more readily. We moved to a smaller and less comfortable table, but that was okay given that we'd avoid the smoke. 30 minutes later our food still had not arrived. We got an un-asked-for apology from the waiter, but still no food for 10 minutes. When it got there it was delicious. The owner/chef stopped and we commented on the good time we were having. Ten minutes later, however, a trio of women who had come in for drinks and hookah started to smoke half way through out meal. As we were leaving the owner again encouraged us to come back. I told her that was unlikely because of the hookah. She was warm and sincere in her concern, and assured me that there is no tobacco in hookah. I told her I don't avoid it because of cancer, but because I find the smoke irritating to my lungs. She asked if there was anything else they could have done, like move my table again. I let her know that the thing she could do she would not: namely, ditch the hookah. Since I cannot recommend the place, I give it a 2. Great food. Questionable for your health.

What a wonderful, eclectic selection of food. Tapas with a difference having influences from Brazil and Argentina. The tapas menu has something for everyone. The atmosphere and surroundings are very good and the service was excellent. We were there on a Saturday for the first time but have plans to go back when they have music on Thursdays or Friday's

Great food, great atmosphere, great staff!! The restaurant had more of a New York feel as it is small, shares the same space with a men's clothing shop and is downstairs below street level. Try the Brussel sprouts and you will be in heaven!! Those alone are a reason we will return! The cocktails are YUMMY but strong- watch out! We had a custardy treat for dessert that was amazing. My only concern was food was a bit salty, but expected with tapas so not unusual. The owner, Ana, walked around the restaurant throughout the night thanking patrons for coming but did not feel overbearing. I love the fact that her goal is to have local ingredients... can't wait to see what her staff creates with summer ingredients!!

First of all - I thought the décor was adorable, it's very 'Mediterranean' and reminds me of little tavernas on the Greek Isles - all white with splashes of teal and colorful abstract art. Plus it's in a basement so that's just hip. The tables have little white furs over the chairs and certain tables have one side with a large 'couch.' It's very small but cute for a date spot. I think a party over 4 would be tight here. Very clean and very clean restroom. The idea here is tapas. Our mistake was we got too much of the same thing -- cheese, specifically manchego cheese. Now I am quasi-vegetarian so I can easily make a meal out of cheese - my BF, not so much. We got the cheese board (Mas Queso) which was the best part. Specifically the lavender honey and hand-made crackers. It also has these little jelly squares (think fruit snacks), LOTS of manchego cheese squares, and walnuts. A very unique and different cheese board. That alone could've been my meal. Then second best item was the beef empanadas. Very tender and moist beef and came with chimichurri sauce. We also got Pao de Queijo - breaded balls of manchego cheese (this was the 'too much cheese' overload) and the flatbread pizza (with yet more manchego cheese)which was meh/bland. The sangria (white) was good (a tad too much fruit) and wine decent, and we got a complimentary dessert by 'checking in' with Facebook. The tiramisu had an excellent flavor however the texture was a bit runny. Perhaps an off night with the beater. :) I'd try again. I loved the two items I mentioned and am really excited to try more tapas here as their menu is extensive. I personally liked that it's a bit 'milder' for an 'exotic' (Argentinean and Brazilian) restaurant, but my BF thought it was not flavorful enough (then again he lives for hot, hot, crazy spicy food)...I gave it five stars because the items I liked I loooved, and the atmosphere is a total escape from Milwaukee. The service was a tad bit 'too' attentive (waiter checked on us like, 10 times or something like he was bored) but overall I can't wait to return.

From a catering perspective, Kasana delivers! I met Ana, Kasana's President, at the Yelp Nauti By Nature Elite event. I was impressed by her professionalism. I kept her business card in my wallet in case a catering opportunity arose. That opportunity came. I had a need to provide a meal for an average group with sufficient dietary requests. While I typically rely on Shiraz for meals for this group, I decided to call Ana to see what she could offer. Not only did she accommodate my needs, she created items not on the menu. For example, dried fruit Bon-bons. And everything was all natural with no preservatives. I look forward to going to the restaurant to get the full experience. Thanks, Ana, for making catering easy and allowing me to provide meals that truly make a memorable impression.

This place was interesting. The atmosphere is wild, but it gets a 5. Cozy basement restaurant, pastel lighting, furry chair covers, a great French jazz band playing in the corner. I kept forgetting I was in Milwaukee. It felt like I was on vacation somewhere else the entire time. The drinks were amazing and get a 4.5. The only reason for the half point deduction is that my sangria came in a laughably large glass. It felt like I was drinking from one of those tacky fishbowls. The sangria itself was delicious - made with red wine, brandy and rose champagne - but it needs to be a tall tumbler. My friends had a Jameson lime cocktail and a whiskey tea cocktail. I'm forgetting the names, but both were well-made and flavorful. The food, unfortunately, only gets a 2. We ordered three small plates to share. The chorizo plate with tomato broth and crispy potatoes was really good and by far my favorite. The empanadas were so disappointing. The crust was hard and dense, and completely overpowered the small amount of filling inside. We also had a pork dish that was just awful. Flat, overcooked pork with way too much rosemary. The service was warm and friendly, but a bit on the slow side. However, it was a busy Friday night and it is a tapas restaurant, so I didn't mind. There were around 20 tapas options on the menu, so I will return to try more dishes and hopefully raise my review of the food.

Incredible menu and great tasting food. Looking for something different, this is your place. We went to the Third Ward for breakfast and found this place because everything else was packed. Our luck, this place is a secret gem. Not a hipster hangout.

Milwaukee has needed a place like this for quite some time. A lovely, intimate tapas bar with beautiful music and fantastic food. The wine list is not extensive, but it includes regional specialties like Chilean carmenere and Argentinian malbec. The menu items are marked as vegetarian, gluten free, and vegan. After talking with the owner, Ana, I was able to determine that many of the items marked as gluten free are dredged in mandioca flour, but are deep fried in oil where wheat floured items have also been fried. So if you are a person with celiac, you will need to talk to your server about substitutions. On our visit, my husband and I started with the pao de queijo ( Manchego cheese bread) which was delicious. We then moved on to some crab cakes, leeks in bechamel sauce, and Brussels sprouts, all were fantastic. We will definitely be coming here again!

Vegetable with Bulgar and Cheese soup - reminded me of the flavor of canned veggie soup with red broth even though this looked so different and hopefully completely from scratch. The only thing I can think of is that the saltiness was so high that's why it tasted like canned. And -- there Was No Cheese. Not any that I could see or remember, anyway. Little bit of bulgar but couldn't really notice it's presence while eating the soup. "Roasted" Vegetable Melange - just not good. Doused in olive oil it was so wet and there was nothing "Roasted" about it; completely false way to describe an overly oiled, thinly sliced "side dish" of pan cooked, unexciting mix of vegetables. Really disappointed there was no roast taste/texture or char. It had no rice, no potato, no cheese, nothing to bring it together, either. Also seemed salty. Parfait with Greek Yogurt - friend had this and said it was a turn off because the Greek yogurt was plain instead of a slightly sweetened vanilla or a fruit flavor. It should absolutely not be bland, plain yogurt. This makes no sense to me. She also had to send her bloody mary back she disliked it so much. Special of the Day: Arugula Salad with Walleye - other friend said it was very good. The only clear winner. I was expecting a lot more from Kasana and will definitely be eager to check out another brunch place next time I get with my gals. Kasana has a nice appearance but the menu items didn't impress. With the location, the foot traffic will surely come, but I sure hope they work to improve what they feed people.

Excellent. Great ambiance, owner was very nice, kept asking if we needed anything. The food was tasty; nice change from the usual burgers and fries you find at restaurants. Order the tapas, extremely delicious. Coffee comes in big mugs that make it so much more enjoyable. Go try it, you won't be disappointed!

My daughters made a reservation for Mother's Day today. Wow, what a wonderful experience! The food, the atmosphere, the service...all excellent! It was deliciously elegant. My favorites today were the mushroom pate and the tilapia couscous. My husband's favorite was the French toast with bananas and caramel sauce, my 3 year old granddaughter loved the berries and granola. What a wonderful meal to share with family and friends, thank you Kasana!

Reading Kasana's menu I was actually a little nervous since there is something that's not very common in their dishes - meat - so I was slight apprehensive. But I was pleasantly surprised. The staff is incredibly friendly and the lunches were all amazing (we had a group of five of us, and each of us enjoyed our meal). I would recommend trying Kasana out and seeing if it's something that you'd venture to again. I'll admit that I liked Kasana, but knowing all of the options downtown I don't know if I'd pick them to frequent. Perhaps if they expanded their menu that would be more compelling. I feel like their missing some "bam" feature. But if you're really into eating healthy, then you'll probs really like this place.

What a great evening at Kasana. It was a blustery winter evening when we walked into Kasana. It was so beautiful and warm with love seats and lap blankets. The staff was phenomenal! Great tapas suggestions, drink descriptions, and overall lovely service. We felt very special. My two favorite plates were the brussel sprouts and the lamb. They were absolute perfection- expertly prepared and presented. Washed down with the homemade sangria...it does not get better than that. UNTIL...the two jazz players arrived. Classy. We had a DELIGHTFUL conversation with the owner who is clearly very attentive and proud of her restaurant. We immediately signed up for the special Valentine's Day evening and we can't wait. My husband and I both travel a lot for our jobs and we are treated to delicious meals all over the country and Kasana is right up there with the best of them. Thank you for a wonderful evening out!!!

Has to be the worst food I have eaten in Milwuake. I spent 70 dollars then had to go over to the wicked hop to eat dinner. Sangria was awful for 8 dollars a glass - poor tasting and was a small glass filled with ice. Ordered 3 tapas which amounted to almost no food - and the walley we ordered was fried - but full of bones. Would never -never - never recomment this to anyone. Also wrote an email to the owner to let then know about the bones in the fish and never received any reply about our concern. Please dont waste your money

I love Ana the owner of Kasana. I think they really made the place cute and cozy even those it's below ground. I have had quite a few of the offering and they were all good. Empanadas, HOMEMADE bloody mary (made from fresh tomatoes), salad and some baked goods. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I know they try to use local and organic as much as possible. Their event space is gorgeous too!

Excellent food and service. Will accommodate diner requests, e.g. vegan, gluten free.
