Awful pizza and misleading advertising. Staying here in the Crowne Plaza and decided to take advantage of ad in our room. Gourmet Homemade Pizza, it is not. Bland, undercooked, canned sauce, and minimal toppings is just the beginning. Ad stated $14.95 for first, $9.95 for additional pizzas. $25 plus tax sounds right. But it was almost $35 after adding service charge and gratuity. None of that was included on the advertisement. $35 for roller rink pizza is unthinkable. I was not offered or given a receipt either making it appear that they were just screwing me. And when I questioned it, it was explained in a condescending manner with no apology for the misleading ad or miscommunication. Absolutely Horrible food, and worse customer service!

Well, I am staying at the Crowne Plaza and decided to order a hand made pizza from Innovations for the fair price of $14.95... after having the pizza delivered to my room, somehow the fair price of 14.95 is now inflated to $20+ dollars with a room service fee that is no where listed on the advertisement... That was my initial shock with the second one being that the pizza was awful. Undercooked, bland and really just not good at all. Pretty disappointed because outside of this experience, the hotel has been great.

Disappointed in the Happy Hour. No hard liquor, just beer and wine. Also, although the info in the room touts the food for Happy Hour, there are only two skimpy items available.

Meh. Cute decor, but that's about it. Our server took forever to greet us, then knew nothing to answer our questions. I ended up just getting the breakfast buffet which included waffles (dried out), bacon/patties/links (cheap and pretty greasy), scrambled eggs (didn't eat any), american hashbrowns (cubed frozen potatoes loaded with salt kept lukewarm) and a toast area. Nothing really great about any of it. Mom got an omelet that looked fine, and her hashbrowns were fresh and crispy as they should be. While there TWO other tables around us sent their food back - one for being made incorrectly and one for the omelet being cold in the middle. On our one gracious check back (after I'd finished mine) Mom asked for a water refill. 10 minutes later with no action she actually had to physically go up to the server station and ask the manager himself. Service was bad, food wasn't great, not returning.

Staying here for the 3rd time since last year. This is inside the Crowne Plaza. I eat dinner at the bar usually and the servers are awesome. Sports fans too. The patty melt is a good plate to order. Drinks/beer select is great. The restaurant I have only visited for breakfast. Service and food are great.

My daughter found this place by accident. It's part of the hotel. We were suprised by the swanky interior and fresh look. Service was top notch, our waitress was very nice and cute and attentive. Prices were reasonable I got the Innovation burger. It was superb! The combination of gouda and bacon and onions and good beef was perfect. The fries and salad were good too. My daughter liked her meal as well. If ure around hwy 100, give this place a try. We will go back

PUTTING THE NO IN INNOVATION. Went for: a Monday night dinner Ordered: Blue Crab Cakes seared and served with remoulade sauce -$11 and a Mixed Green Salad with fresh crisp veggies - $4 Tasted: The crab cakes (3 minis) were luke warm and were either under a limp heat lamp or were reheated in a microwave. They were presented nicely on rectangular plates with bright slivers of red bell peppers. A spicy aioli sauce topped each. The salad was pretty standard for a four dollar salad. Service: Our server seemed like she didn't like us. Decor and Vibe: The decor is well thought out with cool color schemes and modern dinner ware to match. There were a lot of solo diners and it was quiet. You could hear everything the wait staff went into the kitchen and said as the sound carries. Chance of a return visit: Pretty slim. If you're a traveler and staying at the hotel and don't care to venture out, by all means enjoy.

Wow! Right in our backyard and we never knew how lucky we were! Our meal was absolutely delicious! I had the seared walleye and my husband had the scallops and we were so pleased with our dinner! Everything was done to perfection. I think we found our new 'special events' place for celebrations! The prices were very fair too! Highly recommended!!!!!!

The Saturday dinner specials were great! Prime Rib, Bleu Cheese Sirloin or Salmon for $16 include potato, veg and a great salad bar! The meat was perfectly cooked & delicious. Great service too. I will be back.

Early for dinner on a Monday night, we were seated in a corner away from the bright afternoon sun. Efficient and friendly waitress took our order and answered questions. There were only five red wines by the glass and they were out of the one I picked, but the suggested substitute was good. Calamari with a rather bland marinara was ok, but I wish I had been given the choice of a thai dipping sauce mentioned on the menu. Five onion soup was excellent. Scallops with artichokes, grape tomatoes and potatoes was served with buerre blanc. Filet mignon with bleu cheese butter and mushrooms was very nice. Asked for extra asparagus with it instead of potato but extra did not seem to appear. House-made cheesecake (pumpkin and plain) was delightful.

Food was decent. Not my favorite restaurant by far. Waitress didn't seem happy to have customers. The food was really quick to come out and was cooked to order. Drinks were really strong. Atmosphere was really nice.

Had the innovation burger. Decent flavor combo of the bacon, Gouda, caramelized onions and arugula. Needed a little more seasoning. Took a little long at 1:00 pm on a Saturday. In was the only person there. Decent price for a hotel burger.

Based on the previous reviews, I was excited this place was in the Crown Plaza hotel where I was staying. Decided to try it last night and it was a strike out from start to finish. The calamari batter was so crisp, that when I went to pick it up with a fork, it cracked and fell off. So I decided to play it safe for the entree and get a local fish dish - Walleye. It was dry as a bone and had two pats of colored butter on it that was barely melting (e.g., not served hot). The green beans were cooked to within an inch of their life - limp and lifeless. The mashed potatoes were piped out of a bag onto the plate to look fancy and sprinkled with parsley - looked nice, but could have easily been instant, who could tell with no texture. Not a place I'd try again.

We went for the Saturday night specials, which were for the most part very good. I was VERY impressed with my meal, the 14 oz prime rib, baked potato, and steamed carrots. My bf's meal (the 8 oz sirloin) was good as well, although we were both disappointed with his mashed potatoes as they had a strange texture to them. The salad bar was okay, and really where Innovation loses most of its points in my opinion because there wasn't much of a selection of veggies to choose from and the extras (spinach artichoke dip and breadsticks) weren't very good. However, for the amount of food you get, and for the perfectly cooked sirloin and prime rib, I think this was a very good deal and would go back in the future!

Great service and atmosphere. Try the 8oz angus sirloin.

Delicious Friday night fish fry!! I've been here four times and just love it. The salad bar is just okay though - VERY basic. It's still worth the stop though because main course on a Friday night is perfect! It's a very modern looking establishment. I probably wouldn't bring my children until I was there for a reception. Overall, good Friday fish fry.

Its a restaurant within the Crowne Plaza (If I am not mistaken). It was Very Very Good . We went on Saturday and got the prime rib special and I got the Sesame Crusted Salmon. My Salmon Was Excellent!! We also had the drink special which was a drink with strawberry puree/grapefruit- it was excellent. We had appetizers the sweet potatoes fries were super thinly sliced like potato chips- but thinner- topped with crab meat were very good, and the calamari which was good as well. Overall it the food was really good. I give my review 5 stars because I could have kissed the cook for making the Salmon very very good! Muah!
