We had a great experience here. The employees were friendly and efficient. Not what I am used to from fast food. The set up is similar to a subway, where you pick your bread, pick your sandwich, then pick your toppings as you watch them make it for you. I was impressed with the selection of sandwiches, and really liked the calorie total listed on the menu. I chose not to get my favorite sandwich when I saw it packed over 1,000 calories. The meats on the sandwich were supplied generously, making the sandwiches pretty reasonable for the price. They also have cheese curds. An excellent sandwich shop.

I'd agree with Bob K completely, since I thought IMO(hadn't been to a Penn Station yet) that it was better than Subway, but wasn't quite as good as Jersey Mike's. Ordered a Philly Cheesesteak sub, and while it wasn't bad, it made me wish that a Jersey Mike's was in this area instead. At least the bread I got it on(Parmesan Asiago) wasn't bad, though. Why I didn't go here before instead of the nearby and worser Subway one or 2 visits back, is beyond me. I'd be fine returning here, in case I get another hankering for a sandwich/sub in this area again. Rather patronize other sub chains over Subway, anyway!

If you go in and order you're more likely to get what you asked for. The times we have used online ordering have been terrible. They have yet to get one of our online orders correct. My sandwich today was pretty bad. Dry bread, like it was from yesterday. Mayo on the sandwich, when I specifically asked for Italian dressing and NO mayo. And the tomatoes were half green. I need them to do better.

This is by far my favorite Cousins location in Milwaukee.-why.... it was just renovated. But the main reason is you can customize your sandwich with any type of toppings (pepper relish, sauteed mushrooms, jalapenos, pickles, green peppers.I could go on. The last time I was there I ordered ham and provolone cheese sub with pepper jack cheese; They have a Coke Refresh machine.

Not having grown up with Cousins Subs nearby, I admit I tend to forget about their popularity around Milwaukee. But when I do remember that Cousins exists, I always enjoy it. They offer a good variety of sandwiches -- more than Subway or Jimmy John's, I'd say. While it's not my go-to sandwich shop, Cousins is definitely at least A-OK.

We had never been to this chain and decided to give it a try. Best way to describe this place is a cross between Jimmy Johns and Penn Station. Better than Subway, but not nearly as good as Penn Station. This chain started out in Milwaukee by two cousins in the 70's and has grown but remains family owned to this day.
