Classic diner with friendly staff. The coffee could be a lot stronger, the hash browns a little more toasty, but I got what I paid for. No complaints here.

I am all for treating people with respect and ill tell you this guy has NONE!!! None for his customers or for his community!! There are far to many good places out there with VERY polite friendly go out of there way restaurants to waste your money or time in this place!!

Food was mediocre, service was present, at least. Overheard a 'manager'? berating an employee in the back, not fun while trying to eat.

Never again!!! Had to go back to get takeout order corrected and they added insult by not really fixing the order. Paid for a brand new order of hash browns with cheese and it came back with barely a sprinkle of cheese. F that!

People! This is a diner. Everything is about $5 or less. It is not the Comet Cafe ya tools! I come here for diner coffee and diner food and am always happy spending the $6 I spend. My eggs were awesome. They were what I expected of a D-I-N-E-R that is not selling $10 dishes and brewing micro-roast coffee.

Very affordable and above average food. The service has always been top notch & the quality of the food has been great. Never been disappointed!

In lieu of some shoddy, out-of-the-can style diner food, I was totally impressed with the service. Very friendly ladies who were attentive and made just enough conversation. If I ever came in again, it wouldn't be for the food. I came in around lunch on a Friday and ordered breakfast -- maybe that was my mistake to begin with. The eggs over-easy were perfect, but the American Fries were dry and seemingly had been sitting on the griddle for hours. And the biscuits and gravy was quite possibly the worst I'd ever had. Rather than sausage gravy it was a mound of clumpy yellowish pepper gravy with pieces of sausage links on top. The best thing about the food was easily the price, but overall it's a terrible waste of charm and character to present such subpar food. Also, I got a kick out of the handwritten "employee rules" sign posted for all customers to see. Aside from tacky, I observed a waitress typing away on her Blackberry directly in front of this sign which clearly read, "no cell phone use by employees."

Gross food, but really nice service and the best Pepsi around. I got ham with eggs and hashbrowns. The ham was clearly out of a can, the eggs and hashbrowns were disgustingly greasy. And the pancakes we shared weren't all that good either. My friends each had skillets and said they were delicious, so maybe MAYBE, if I am back on the road to Milwaukee again I'll give it another shot, but it's not likely. I really wanted to love this place, the waitress was super nice and the pepsi was sooo good, the perfect amount of syrup and carbonation and not watered down. However, a nice waitress and good pepsi is not enough reason to return to this place. Oh, an the manager/owner was more interested in watching a soccer game than seating us...rude!

We used to live just up the street from this place. It's really hit or miss on the whole service thing. If you are in a hurry, your food will take forever to show up. If you have all day the food will be out instantly. The wait staff is generally friendly. It's a diner. You know the drill. The food is alright. It's nothing special and there's much better in MKE. It does the job in a pinch. We pretty much gave up on this place after awhile. Best if you live near the Tippecanoe Library and are too lazy to head to a better diner.

this place is basically for people older than 50 or large local families who love breakfasts or early dinners. The food is eh, the lemonade was even eh, the pancakes and sausage taste eh as well...the great part was the skillet! Now its put in a small bowl, not a skillet, but is super duper delicious and has you fiending for more. Plus the prices are extremely reasonable.
