I have never had a bad experience at this Chipotle until today.. The restaurant was a mess and the service was terrible. When I ordered the quesdilla and they got a huge attitude about it.. then the second girl said if I wanted tomatoes on it I had to pay for a burrito. Once I agreed to this I asked for the sour cream that use to come with it and the said I had to pay extra for that too, but if I'm paying for a burrito then doesn't it come with sour cream? Then they said no because all of the prices just changed even though I was at a chipotle less than a month ago. They didn't offer for here or to go and they rudely shoved the bag into our faces. So rude! So sloppy! So displeased!

Great food, great service, and they don't hold back on the portions either ;)

How much do I love Chipotle? I love it so much I wish they'd stage a coup and invade the Qdoba a block away from my humble abode. Then I'd help establish a burrito democracy, run for Taco President, provide chicken bowls to the hungry, and hire the homeless from the MKE rescue mission to help them get back on their feet. Yeah, that might be crazy talk, but the food is so good it makes me think big-time ideas. Never a bad meal, great staff, cheap eats, addictive cilantro rice. Yum! Enough said. Where are the tanks?

I've never had a bad experience here. All of the employees are nice and friendly and the food is good. The assembly line is really efficient and there are cooks in the back so things are fresh and never run out. I was excited to see that they recently added a vegan sofritas option and it did not disappoint.

It's a Chipotle, people. Want a gut bomb of a burrito that weighs in at 1300 calories a pop? THIS IS YOUR PLACE. But dang. Sometimes, just sometimes, you really effing want a Chipotle burrito. Maybe you haven't eaten in two days, or maybe you're just craving that corn salsa/black bean pinto bean/light rice/stir fry veggie/hot hot sauce/guac/sour cream/cheese combo. (Okay. Maybe that's just me. That's my joint + jam... veggie burrito plus mix of pinto and black beans w/ guac and multiple hot sauces and multiple dairies.) They say all their stuff is "sustainably sourced," etc. They're a huge chain, so I believe it, but only sort of. What I do know? Not much, but do any of us, really? I digress. Chipotle = infinitely more awesomesauce than Qdoba. Done AND done.

The burritos speak for themselves. Tonight, I was impressed by the service. I walked in 3 mins before close and was still allowed to order. The staff was generous and their attitudes were welcoming. I appreciated it!

Veggie bowl is great! Can't wait for them to open there newest ones in the next year! Will be back!

This is more 3.5 stars because I never seem to get very good service here. I get smaller portions here and my bowl is never full. Please lower your costs, if your going to charge for a bowl, when I only get half a bowl of food.

I stop in here sometimes when I have a craving or am too lazy to cook. The staffs super friendly and quick with my order and the place is always clean with fresh ingredients.

The service is pretty fast However you always have to ask for a little more because you get so little. But the food is always good even if you have to pay extra for more meat lol

Yep it's a chipotle. Now only if the could come up with a gmo free quest sauce... This location gets pretty busy at lunch time, so be prepared. The staff is friendly and efficient. Guess the only real reason I'm not giving the 5th star here is that each meal comes with a heavy dose of calories and that I usually reserve 5 stars for non-chain restaurant reviews and other likewise locations.

Hygienic and fast! Polite service. They greet you every time you enter and the food is pretty good. It is Chipotle. :)

I visited this Chipotle last Friday night and it was insanely busy but the service was assembly line like quick. I ordered a standard steak burrito with rice and beans. After about 4 bites I realized I was basically eating a rice burrito. And while the steak looked good while my burrito was being prepared it had no flavor whatsoever, what few pieces there were of it. Everything was very fresh but they really skimp on the meat here and give you a lot of rice as filler. I was however very impressed with the quick and polite service given how busy the restaurant was. And big props to the girl behind the counter who kept her composure while dealing with the total douche in front of me who wouldn't get off his phone while ordering and wanted extra everything on everything but didn't want to pay for any of it.

C'mon! How can you say anything bad about Chipotle? I've pretty much accepted the fact that I am the only person who ever orders tacos here. I'm sure at their corporate HQ every week when the discussion comes up about removing tacos from their menu, they always point to that one guy in Milwaukee who orders them every week. Thank you, all wise and attractive Chipotle board members. (BTW, the burritos are too much food) Anyway, I love the Ogden Chipotle. Friendly staff. Quick service, unless you get the frequent lone customer who is ordering for 12 other people and has weirdly specific guacamole requests.

It's hard to write a review on a chain that everyone has been to, so lets just keep it short and sweet. I go to Chipotle all the time (once a week minimum, usually twice, sometimes thrice) and this is the one I go to the most since it's so nice and close to downtown, where I work. The food is always perfect, the staff is always friendly and the service is always quick. Burrito bowl, brown rice, both beans, hot salsa, cheese and sour cream. I get a different meat every time. If all I could ever eat again was Chipotle, I'd be OK with that. This is one of those rare things (with Burgers and Pizza) that I could never, ever get sick of. If you haven't been to Chipotle, why? No, really... why? Go there. Now.

For those who work out, this place is awesome. If you are cutting, get the salad with that awesome medium salsa, corn, fajita peppers, and tomatoes. No carbs and high in protein. Bulking, well this place is perfect for that ;) Delicious, healthy, fast food. Tip: Be a rule breaker and park in the pick n save lot. The fringes of the lot are actually closer then the actual small chipotle / panera parking lot.

For healthy fast food, this is as good as it gets. I get their burrito bowl with grilled chicken, black beans, rice, their medium spiced corn salsa, and a bit of cheese. YUM. I crave Chipotle on the regular.

Nothing but home runs at this chipotle location. I've been to other locations in milwaukee and different cities and this location remains to be one of the best and generous portions and friendliness of the staff. I love the perfect location. It's very convenient.

I'm in awe of Chipotle's standards for locally sourced and antibiotic-free food sources. I've had similar Mexican dishes served at similar places before that had more complexity in flavors, but will be a Chipotle regular because of the above and its excellently convenient location on my way home from work. The staff at this location are always friendly and accommodating when I pull a Sally from When Harry Met Sally (I'm not talking about the scene with Olympia Dukakis - get your mind out of the gutter! ;-) ) and ask for my hardshell tacos to be wrapped in softshell tacos. All the crunch with less mess! One of these days I'll treat myself to a margarita along with my tacos. I should treat my hard-working, double taco wrapping server to one too.

With the exception of "build your own" burrito places and sub shops, I never eat "fast food". I like to use the bathroom at McDonald's if I'm on a road trip because I owe it to them to pay it forward, whether that means a #1 or a #2. Chipotle is an awesome "build your own" Burrito place. Better than Qdoba, which has some serious bean issues (they have always been hard, meaning undercooked). I don't eat meat, but Chipotle even prides themselves on trying to buy local and somewhat organic chicken. I always get the grilled veggie burrito. I had an issue with the way that they build the burrito though. I have since learned how to correct this, but it does involve me being possibly a more annoying customer. Although, I did have a very positive reaction once where the guy who works there was like "this looks really good". I'm a designer by nature. Raised by a meticulous father who is a mechanical engineer, I'm always thinking about what seems practical, rational, efficient, etc. The order of topping placement has never made sense to me. Half of my burrito would turn out to be this massive lump of white rice, and the other side would have all the tasty stuff in it... So now, I make them go back and forth along the line of ingredients, and have them balance out the flavors by layering. Cheese is always first, which is nice because it melts. I put the rice somewhere in the middle, and I'll even do two different rounds of salsa's. The end result is delicious and clean tasting. With each bite I get a medley of flavors instead of just a clump of rice. *Really convenient, reasonable and yummy. And thank you so much for even selling beer... that's just wonderful.

One of the few Chipolte's in the MKE. When you are craving it, here it is. Cute little patio area to sit at in the summa.

Chipotle rocks. This location is super convenient for me. I appreciate that there is always parking available and the staff are almost always super friendly. It seems like they have fun working there which is cool. As with all Chipotle locations I've visited, the food is yummy, it takes less than 5 minutes to get in my hands, and the portion-sizes are outta control. Like eat once a day outta control. Same goes for this location. Good stuff.

If I could eat this three meals a day, every day, for the rest of my life without dying of a heart attack, I would. Steak fajita burrito, no beans, pico de gallo, cheese, and guac. Perfection.

Oh Chipotle, I have an unhealthy obsession with you, given the fact you aren't always exactly figure friendly. But your chicken bowls are the bomb, your servings are huge and you always load on the toppings. And I can feel better eating you, knowing that I am supporting a company that supports farmers that raise their meats au natural. If only your parking spots were easier to find during the dinner rush. Nonetheless, we can remain friends.

With so many great restaurants to eat at in the city, places like Chipotle rarely come to mind when I'm hungry. I work a later shift and often find myself gravitating toward the quickest sustenance options at the end of the day. Chipotle provides a reasonable priced meal faster than I can usually say, "guacamole, please". After recently watching Food, Inc. my awareness for buying local is heightened. While Chipotle might not be a place that supports local farmers, it is a place to be served food that can be considered "fresh". The staff at the Ogden location was incredibly friendly and patiently waited for me to make a decision. So many places rush you through and make you feel like a cow going through a maze at the slaughterhouse. Nice to be served with a smile from time to time, y'know? Don't be expecting the quality you'd receive from Botanas, Conejitos, Cafe Corazon, La Fuente, etc., etc. But you will receive a meal much better than that you'd be given going thru a Taco Bell drive-thru, that's for damned sure. The guac is edible, the medium and hot salsas are decent. Dammit, now I'm hungry.

I was afraid to try it do to my love of Qdoba but after doing so i have to say i like it better. The fresh ingredients are awesome and I don't feel like i am going to die after eating the burrito.

It's good stuff ... but they do need to think about offering a little more varieties ... maybe not a good business strategy for them but it's good for me

I am an aficionado for carnitas, which is a Mexican slow-cooked pulled pork. Chipotle really impressed me with their carnitas burrito; I did not expect it to be so good for a fast-casual chain. I would definitely have it again. Of course, I have my favorite little Mexican spots in Milwaukee, but for a quick bite, Chipotle is great. Better than Qdoba.

Actually, The one that's closest to the one I went to at the Summerfest. Where I actually went. The chips & salsa plus the guacamole are great.

This was the first chipotle i went when i was in milwaukee with my office staff. I always went to the Qdoba as I liked it more and i was more use to the taste. Once i ate there burrito I have to say that it was really good and it gave the Qdoba burrito a tough competion. I will still have Q Burrito if given chance but this is surely in list and now as in West Coast the Q chain is less so i m more of chipotle guy :).

No longer owned by McD's and featuring a "fast food" Mexican menu that's heavy on fresh ingredients and even ORGANIC items, I stopped in for a quick bite on a Monday early evening. The place was hopping with about 75% of the available seating taken. 2-3 of the people behind the counter gave me a big "HELLO!" as I walked in, to the point where I embarrassed myself by looking behind me. I've been a regular dinner at Qdoba as I like Mexican, but not Taco Bell, nor do I have time for a sit down meal all that often. All I can say is that there was a NOTICEABLE taste/quality difference between Chipotle and Qdoba, and Qdoba better pick up their game, or this place is going to roll right over them. My burrito was fresh tasting in all respects with the slight exception of the steak being a bit chewy. I'll let that slide in a restaurant of this caliber, as I'm not paying for, nor expecting fillet Mignon. Everything else worked very well. I now have a new favorite "fast food" Mexican restaurant.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
