We ate in the side room which smelled like they had an open sewer pipe. Don't think I'll be stopping here again. The food was ok, but this place is probably better served as a pick up only location.

Delivery is quick and accurate, but the food is just not very good. It's at about the quality of the pseudo-Chinese mall vendors. I actually tried this place a few times, a few different dishes, but none were very tasty. Cheap ingredients, cheap substitutions, bland canned sauces, just pretty poor quality all the way around.

Ugh I ordered without checking Yelp first. I just moved to Bay View and have no concept of good delivery here. I took a mental health day from work and as part of that ritual, I needed to order some Chinese food. This place is really cheap. The delivery guy was really nice. The food arrived quickly. I got the General Tsos Chicken lunch special. For $5, this is a huge amount of food. The quality, though, is not too great. The sauce is good, but the texture of the chicken was weird. Also ordered crab rangoon. Only one had enough filling in it. If you've never felt supreme disappointment, eat a near-empty crab rangoon. Topped it all off with an order of shrimp fried rice to make sure I could accurately assess my three favorite Chinese delivery items. Easily the best part of the meal. It tastes a little burnt and it could use a few more shrimp, but otherwise it was alright. Probably won't order again unless times are tough and its a few days to pay day.

Meh. It's okay. Why is it so hard to find decent Americanized Chinese food places? The service is good and the delivery was pretty fast, although we live like...right around the corner. Ha. We ordered boneless spare ribs, general tso's chicken and lo Mein. The chicken was alright, nothing amazing. The pieces were pretty large. Lo Mein was okay. But the ribs were so dry and hard to eat. I wouldn't order them again. All in all there isn't much more to say about this place. It was convenient at the time, which is why we chose it. But we won't be ordering from here again. I suggest you give Hibachi Express a try.

I'm about as picky as it comes with Chinese food and seeing as how the "other" Chinese restaurants in Bay View are a complete joke I thought I'd give China King a try. I ordered online from their website and it gave me a 45 minute delivery time, it arrived in about 15 minutes. We ordered orange chicken, Mongolian beef and pork egg rolls and to our surprise they included a free small General Tso's chicken. The orange chicken was good, the Mongolian beef was excellent however it was about 40% beef and 60% onions, the General Tso's was so-so as it was more breading than chicken. Hands down the egg rolls were the best thing we ordered. Would I order again? Maybe. If you're in need of fast, inexpensive Chinese food that solves your Chinese craving and you happen to live in Bay View and you REEEAAALLLLYYY don't want to go pick up takeout or dine in, well I think you should give China King a shot.

First time trying Chinese so I thought I'd try somewhere nearby. Big mistake. Delivery time was quoted as 45 minutes but arrived in 20 which was a welcome surprise. My roommate suggested I start simple with chicken fried rice since its hard to screw up. The rice was the best part. The chicken, not so much. It lacked any sort of flavor and I'm pretty sure there was more onion in there than chicken. The pork egg rolls which he suggested we try were actually pretty tasty. Overall, I'm not sure why I ever thought to try Chinese food but I'm already disappointed.

We made the mistake of ordering from this location, never again. Some of the worst prepared Chinese food ever.

Looking for a new cheapy Chinese place in the area last night and thought I would try this out. The delivery was fast and I loved the online order feature. The food was not so good. I feel like it's hard to mess up American Chinese food, but the Sesame Chicken my boyfriend ordered was just... off. The broccoli was fresh and cooked well. The crab rangoon were overcooked in the fryer. Shrimp toast were like little grease sponges. Edible, but I'm not going back!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
