The name, Golden Flame, was derived by taking the target customer age group and how the restaurant will go down If the food doesn't improve. Sponge hash browns and third rate ingredients make for a meal that has both lasting masticating qualities and a vanishing flavor profile. Overall, service is good. That's all.

Nice little find! Our waitresses first day she said, but she was nice and did a good job. Good amount of food and good tasting. Came soooo fast. Incredible price. Paid double that yesterday in Tampa. Good family restaurant. Make this place a stop.

Ahhhh, this place is everything you want from a small town diner. The decor is painfully 80s: glass, gold, and flowers. The waitresses are quick and they mean business. The French Toast is soooo good- you know when it's eggy and squishy in the middle? That's my favorite and that is this French Toast! The coffee is terrrrrrrible. The menu is really big and the prices are nice and low. The place was pretty full on Saturday morning, but we got our food in about 15 minutes.

Convenient family restaurant right in the heart of Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Had breakfast with a good friend and ordered the steak & eggs. Steak was a little rough but overall the eggs and hash-browns were great! I would say that the biscuit and gravy was very tasty! Great place to hit up after a late night out! Overall, a nice friendly service restaurant.

Classic diner style place housed in what looks like an old Perkins or other chain. This local spot serves inexpensive fare from a varied menu. My brother and I stopped in early on a Tuesday morning and got a warm and hearty "good morning" from the sole waitress pouring coffee and interacting with a small group of local regulars. The menu features all the typical stuff -eggs, omelettes, pancakes, waffles and decent prices. I had the Belgian waffle which was perfectly crisp along with a side of bacon, and my brother had an omelette with toast and fried potatoes. The total bill was around $12-a great deal. This place isn't anything fancy but if you are looking for an inexpensive, classic breakfast, you might want to give this place a try.

Used to eat here every Saturday with the Old Man. Always got the Farmer's omelette with cheesy hashbrowns. As good a greasy spoon as any for breakfast.
