Simply amazing! This is the place to go to let loose and relieve some stress or just relax! Come on Saturdays for the live music! If you like to dance or just jam to some good ol' country music, look no further! This is the place!

A big group of us went here for Carbone's Pizza after we decided that cooking in the rain at a campsite would be just tooooo much of an adventure. Our waitress helped us push together a few tables so that we could all be at the same table. We placed our order for pizzas and other items and then waited. It's a large space with t.v. screens too numerous to count. The waitress brought out our pizzas as they were done. They were all quite good, I think. I especially enjoyed the veggie and the Hawaiian pizzas. Good service and good pizza.

Just a quick note to update. We tried the pizza. Very good. Not the best I've ever had, but very solid. It's technically Carbone's pizza. Highly recommend

Went on a sunday for a bloody mary and if you buy a drink you get a breakfast of hash browns, eggs, toast, and meat for $2. Can't beat that and the food was decent and the bloody was good. Bartender wasn't overly friendly but I'd go back!

This place used to be the "last call" place on the Hudson bar scene (well if you consider there ever was a scene) back in the 1980s. It's a ways out by the state park so when the city's bar closing time switched to 1 a.m., this place was hoppin til 2. An aside: I think the city's open until 2 a.m. again but I can't hardly stay up that late anymore so am not 100% sure. Tons of people, mostly locals who knew, flocked out here and you could hardly get a drink at the bar and then you could only find a place to stand outside and cup your drink in your jacket so the county sheriff -- who didn't drive by very often back then -- couldn't see. But on summer nights there was nothing better than to go out to "Josie's," run by Les Waldorff. RIP 2009, he was a great guy and the best one-armed bartender in the state. Anyway, the name and owners have changed, but the bar is still a good old Wisconsin tavern and it has live country and rock on the weekends. The place has received a huge fanny lift and has full food service with a nice restaurant and bar addition out the back. Be forewarned that it still has that residual smoke from the front bar, but compared to most that separate the bar from the restaurant, it's not too bad. Over the past year I had an awesome burger here, super onion rings and a great chicken wrap and something else that was good but I don't remember. So I was all excited that the Friday fish fry over this Lenten season would be worthy, but at $10.95 (and not AYCE) it wasn't. The batter on my piece of cod was so overdone I had to remove it. The garlic mashed tasted instant or so over-whipped that it was for folks who forgot their partial plates. The cole slaw was just okay. Was pretty disappointed. Should have stayed with the tried and true. Burgers. Wraps, Onion Rings. And they have Carbone's pizza, a recent addition.

The Willow is one of my favorite hangouts of all time. Great bands and a friendly atmosphere. But today was incredibly disappointing. We stopped in to grab a bite after church in the restaurant side of things. The place was empty yet the lady who waited on us seemed like we were imposing on her Sunday afternoon. She was crabby and did a horrible job waiting on us. Then to take the cake...we had purchased a few restaurant.com coupons a while back, since we loved going there for Carbone's pizza and chicken, and they outright refused to take them claiming people were abusing them. So the deal was, we paid for these restaurant.com coupons, they have the Willow's logo on them AND they say they never expire. The waitress told us "they've never taken those" yet we bought 6 of them and have used 4 of them over the past year. Then they proceed to tell us they posted a sign that said they no longer accept those a while back but it must have "been taken down" at some point. Needless to say we were not able to use the coupons and were extremely disappointed especially since these coupons weren't just ones you get for free...WE PAID FOR THEM. I believe if they continue this trend of bad service and disappointing promotional's they better hope their bar keeps the restaurant afloat because people will choose to go elsewhere if they continue to operate this way.
