I have been coming to this restaurant in the lumberjack village since I was a little kid. These are the biggest and best pancakes around. When dining outside, you can tear little pieces of your pancake off and toss them into the lake from your table on the deck and the THOUSANDS of fish will go for it (perch, bluegill, sunfish, turtles and BASS!). The food is awesome and it is a great place for the whole family. Service when I went was very fast and unlike someone said, refills WERE free (including my orange juice which was served to me in a 20 oz glass because I had ordered a "Huge Orange Juice"... so the server brought me that size and giggled saying that is what I had ordered (and was only charged the regular price). I really like the place and suggest you try it out. Oh, and they serve breakfast all day so it doesn't matter when you get there!

Mixed experiences at the Lumberjack Bowl. The food has always been great and the location on a summer morning is fantastic. Waits can be way too long, even after you have your table. If you come, bring a novel and maybe a snack as it will be awhile until you get your table and even longer until you order, and by the time your food arrives, it might be lunch. If they solved their problem by adding servers and managing their queue more reasonably, I would gladly add a star. We'll give it a try in 4 months when it is warm.

I always loved coming here when I was younger.. I thought this place was the greatest restaurant on earth. It has been a while since I've actually gone back, but the food has always been fabulous each time I've come. I love pancakes, and they do them right. The place is usually pretty busy, so yes, they may/will be a wait. Getting in early is the key.. the lake that it overlooks is full of turtle just swimming around. And, if you can get there when the Lumberjacks are there.. that's even better.. If not, the place is still great!

Total ripoff...refills are not free & we were told that after we had several in their extra small un-lumberjack style glasses. Servers are aloof & non-responsive. Epic fail.

They serve pancakes, and if you're there at the right time you get to see lumberjacks. What more could you possibly want? Except more pancakes and more lumberjacks. But that would be greedy.
