So, I've been to Sonic before: out west, down south and right here at home. My experiences at all establishments have been consistent. This visit, though, was the first ever using the drive-thru. Based on all the prior negative reviews, I thought, "Oh, boy, they were ALL right...this place is somethin' else!" because the lady who took our order went over it multiple times before giving us our total. My (bad) expectations were shattered when, at the window after we asked for condiments (because they didn't ask us if we wanted any), the lady told us that she had already put them in the bag. Had this been McD's, I GUARANTEE this would not have happened. They would have let us drive off without ketchup or mustard. She reminded us not to drive off because we still had a drink coming, "You don't want to drive off without your drink.....you paid for it, afterall!" she added with a smile as she handed us our slushie. Slightly above average fast food with above average service. If I ever get a craving for it, I'd probably go back. 111/2015/206

Ordered a shake, chili cheese tots and a NY dog. Took 10 min for food to arrive when there was barely anyone there. Then took 10 more minutes just to get change for a 20 dollar bill. Got home, see my tots are chili-less. Congrats on none of you doing your job right. Shake was good. But no cherry. I guess thats what happens for 1/2 shakes.

We are from out of town and so excited to eat here since there are none around us, we'll we were disappointed. Lady taking order was snappy with my husband.. Who btw is the most polite person most people have ever met. Ordered a cheeseburger with NOTHING else on it... It had EVERYTHING. Just such a waste of time and money.

I've lived nearby for four years and have watched this sonic decline. It started out with good food and service, but within the last year there is almost nothing positive to say anymore. When your order is correct, the food is delicious (though put together quite sloppy) but the service is horrible and the employees are rude and disgruntled. Today I had to repeat every part of my three item order multiple times. Then you wait. And wait. And wait. Seriously, don't go here if you're in a rush. It will take 10 minutes even if you're the only customer. If they have a line, save yourself the trouble and drive away.

  • Chris W.

The service couldn't possibly be worse. There is no sense of customer service. I have been here twice in the last couple of weeks. The last time I thought was an anomaly but learned from this last visit it's normal here. Long wait (40 minutes) for simplest of orders (slushes) and service that does nothing to redeem the wait. Unapologetically poor.

  • Heidi B.

The food is good but plan on a long wait if you come here. It doesn't matter if you go through drive-thru or not, you will have a longer than necessary wait for your food.

  • The Boyz J.

Ridiculously slow...hearing people have cold fries...old burgers....this is sad. The drive thru has faster service! If he hadn't paid for our order we would have pulled off!

I don't remember Sonics being as bad as it is. Came here for the 1/2 price cheeseburgers Tuesdays. Well took about 10mins to get our order of 2 cheeseburgers and 1 large fries. The fries were hot but the cheeseburgers cold. The cheese was not even melted. We would have sent them back if not for being in a hurry. Sonics will soon go away like A&W did because the food doesn't stand out from all the other fast food joints and the outdoor theme doesn't work in the winter. When the location first opened the employees seemed to actually care now they just want to help push the chain into obscurity.

I cannot deal with this place anymore. It took 20 minutes for 4 drinks. For some reason I always have to repeat my order 2-3 times and the last 2 times the orders were wrong. The place is understaffed, but it just doesn't work. It's broken!

I had three drinks and they screwed it up they forgot one drink then had to go back and get it then forgot about us. On the first visit when they brought the wrong order they didn't give us any straws so we r sitting waiting for the rest if the Order with no way of enjoying what we had what a joke. Then they finally brought the last drink and only two straws so we had to wait a while for another it's so funny my shake was melted by the time I got everything

There shakes have such a creamy texture and are just bursting with flavors. this time I have the cookie dough but next time I think I have the strawberry banana split. The service was quick & friendly. Overall nice affordable treat to end my Friday night.

Fast food chain so there's not much to say that can be original. I do like the concept and it's really fun to go to in the summer to hang outside and eat. Love, love, love the roller skates!!! This would have been my ideal job in my younger days when I lived on my skates. Recently was there for my son and there was no one skating, hope that has not been tossed out. Menu selection is ok. If you are trying to eat healthier, this is not the place for you. All in all, fun place to visit. Great for kids and families for something different. I'm personally not a fan of the food but that is something for you to determine for yourself.

So I have been to a Sonic before and the service and food are what was to be expected, but let me tell you this Sonic location is what gives the rest of the chain a bad reputation. Horrible customer service two people trying to take my order at the same time. When I politely asked if they could cancel my order so that I could start over they kept trying to take my order and would not listen to me. The staff also needs to better learn the menu they were clueless on some of the menu offerings when I asked if I could get the number 8 in a medium. Oh sorry we only have small or large. Well I'm sorry then why do you have it written on the order screen. My advice skip this location heed warning to all of the low reviews. I would recommend going to Martino's literally a 5 minute drive from this train wreck of a Sonic chain. I ended up leaving and going to Martino's.

So, this was my first (and last) experience at a Sonic. The person taking the order was rude and gave me attitude when I wasn't loud enough: "you need to speak up, I can't hear what you are saying." B***ch, I'll make sure to bring a hearing aid next time. After sitting for 20 min in the car, finally they gave us the order. FINALLY! YAY! Upon arriving home, I discovered that they didn't put fries in a bag. Also, the breakfast burrito tasted like someone mushed together McD's sausage egg McMuffin and Taco Bell's cheesy bean and rice burrito, stepped on it, and then shoved into a soggy burrito shell that looked like a floor mop. The cheese sticks were identical to Arby's, where I'm going to drag my ass if I ever have a hankering for unhealthy greasy garbage.

I'm not sure why it always takes 1,000 hours to get your order here. The one time we DIDN'T have to wait, they apologized for making us wait and gave us a free meal coupon. Weird.
