This place was packed!! I had the patty melt and a beer. Bottomless fries are ridiculous. There is something to be said about a place that makes hamburgers endlessly as this place does, and consistently makes them well. Each time I've gone, they've been juicy and flavorful. The prices are on point.

Terrible service. My water glass had a glob of something stuck to the inside. When I asked for a new one the server didn't apologize, just said ok. There was quite a wait for our food and when we finally got it the fries tasted old. It wasn't until after we got our food that we noticed they hadn't brought us silverware so we had to wait for that too. I usually love Red Robin but this location is understaffed and undesirable.

We had an enjoyable evening! Our family of four visited on a busy Saturday night. Our server Danielle was clearly well-trained and personable. I tried a Blood Orange Margarita and my hubby had a Spotted Cow. Burgers were delicious. I had the Red Robin special and he had one with blue cheese. Both were delicious and cooked a little pink. Coleslaw was fresh and crunchy and onion rings were cooked perfect. The kids menu was creative laying out main dish, side and drink in pictures to choose from, along side sketches and games to keep the kids busy while you wait. The kiddos had pizza with apples and a corn dog with a fruit cup, both with chocolate milk. It was noisy with lots of action which was perfect for an almost 3 and 4 1/2 year old. The texting you when your table is ready feature if easy to use. We will return!

The bar tender Monday night was SOOOO bad! She had no customers and spent her time talking to her friends. Our server had to go behind the bar and make our drinks!

I have always enjoyed Red Robin.... Specifically for its burgers and bottomless steak fries. However, this location was absolutely horrible. Probably the worst dining experience that I have had in a while. My friend and I waited for over 45 minutes for or food, only to have the manager come over and bring out the wrong meals to us. The manager did try to make up for it by taking the food off of our bill but then when I went to pay for my alcoholic beverages, the server took the cash and did not return with my change or receipt. All in all, horrible management and poor serving ruined my experience at this location. I will not be returning.

We stopped here this past Saturday around 1pm. The place was extremely busy. They gave us a 15-20 minute wait time for two people. They take your phone number and text you when your table is ready, which I thought was nice. We went outside, and within a few minutes received a text. We've frequented many Red Robin restaurants (in several different states) - it's our go-to place for a good meal. The food was good, as to be expected. But the service was less than desired. We ordered our drinks and meal at the same time. The waitress promptly brought our drinks, and that was the end of good service. When she arrived with our food, she didn't bring napkins or silverware. I had to get them from the waitress station. I asked for some sauce, which she forgot to bring. So when she returned to the table to ask if we were still okay, I asked for the sauce again, which she later brought to me. I understand the place was busy, but I just didn't feel like the service was up to par. The food was fantastic as always. I will return to Red Robin, just maybe not this particular location.

Bad service. We walked in on a moderately busy night, there were a few people waiting on benches. 4 servers were standing at the front desk with their backs to us. We waited, standing there awkwardly for a few minutes. A few of them looked over their shoulders at us but we weren't greeted or acknowledged. Another server actually came up to the group and asked them a question then just walked along after looking right at us. Needless to say we did not stay for a meal.

We had a great experience this evening. Even though we started out with just water for all four of us, our server, Trevor, was very attentive throughout the evening. Other than the initial 15 minute wait for a table, we never had to wait for anything. Food was fantastic. All while it was dinner rush on a Friday evening. Everything you would want in a casual dining experience was in full force. Well Done.

This was our first visit to Red Robin...I don't understand all the fuss... If I wanted a burger from Burger King then I'd go there. Same taste... Husband had the Prime Rib sandwich nothing to brag about (sauce was salty). Milwaukee has a lot of restaurants that offer hamburgers...If you do decide to venture here as far as drinks go (suppose to be a Coke)...the waitress basically handed me a glass of ice. My daughter had the chicken on a stick (kid's menu)...she said they were nasty...I tried one bland and overcooked (rubbery)... Red Robin promotes gourmet(I laugh); you can get these same burgers/menu items anywhere else. Our waitress was attentive until it was time for our bill...she disappeared. This place is NOT worth the wait.

Good, the only thing I don't like it the loud crazy kids when it is busy but the food is delish!!! We always get two different things and then split everything. The sweet potato fries are great!!! Love the burgers, wraps and the Fish and Chips!

My first visit to a Red Robin was an enjoyable success. Packed with Holiday shoppers, it was busy at lunchtime! I like the jovial vibe of the place, and the odd half booth seating. It's like a funner Applebee's (yes, I said "funner", don't "sic" the dogs on me). Except Red Robin just does mostly burgers, sandwiches, and salads. Famous for their burgers, I tried the A-1 burger with cracked black pepper, A-1 sauce (for the slow people in the audience), onion strings, served on a nice onion bun. It was awesome! The only thing I didn't care for was that Red Robin asks you if you want your burger "pink" or "no pink". Umm, I wanted mine "medium"...because you can cook a burger 5 basic ways, not just, umm, two. Anyway, the burger came out great. Next time I won't be difficult and I'll just say "pink, dammit". All burgers are served with bottomless steak fries, and I enjoyed them with the Red Robin spice shaker that's left at every table. I could see coming here with my son, with the whole family, or after the big game for burgers and drinks with the softball team. No hostess problems to report for me, at peak Holiday lunch hour. In fact, one of the hostesses darted to the door to hold it open for us, and I saw her do the same for others when we were leaving. Red Robin is A-1, OK!

I'm totally a fan of Red Robin. I've been here about a half a dozen times and the food and service has been consistently good. A lot of people who know me find it amusing that I like this place so much, being a vegetarian. But the great thing about Red Robin is that you can get any of their burgers with a veggie burger. I don't know WHY more places don't do this! I mean, it's all about the toppings anyway. They have a lot of variety and you get your money's worth because they don't skimp. This most recent time, the veggie burger I got was as hard as a rock. The waitress apologized and promptly had them make another one for me. The new burger was delivered by the manager who also apologized. The waitress also came over again to make sure everything was alright. It was a mistake but I feel that they totally made up for it and made it right. The ambiance is kind of chaotic and loud - definitely don't go there for a relaxing meal. But the staff are super friendly and attentive and I think the food is good.

I usually avoid writing reviews for chain restaurants because for some reason I feel everyone already knows what to expect. Nonetheless, I just wanted to add that while this Red Robin seems to always be packed (even when I've come at 2:00pm), the service is always fast. The waiters are very attentive (sometimes too attentive?) but I'd rather have them check up on me more often than not. Good, quality burgers with bottomless steak fries. Generally, I do NOT like fries... just don't like the taste, expect in very few cases; one being Red Robin. The seasoned fries are pretty tasty. The burgers are HUGE, to the point where it is difficult to eat, so be sure to cut it in half before you attempt to eat it! It gets messy. The meat isn't overly flavorful but I like that they asked how I want the burger done so I can get it cooked to order. The cookies-n-cream shake is yummy, but I usually never have room to finish it. However, I think their shakes are only $2.99 which is a good price compared to other restaurants which will charge $5+ for a shake/malt. Not often do I come to Reb Robin because Kopps and Ferch's are so close but when I do, I always enjoy the meal and the service is top-notch.

Super friendly staff specially Mindy who works the bar/take out area. Food always a hit but I prefer the turkey patties to the hamburger

I stopped in here while shopping at Southridge today. A few friends had raved to me about their burgers, so I thought I'd give it a try. Wasn't really disappointed, but not thrilled either. I had the Mushroom and Swiss Burger with Steak Fries and a Chocolate Malt. The burger was cooked just how I like it, with just a touch of pink. The meat itself didn't have much flavor and there were so many mushrooms that it was really messy to eat. The malt was nothing special and the fries got soggy from the liquid that came off the mushrooms. Service was friendly and they are wheelchair accessible.

Red Robin - Yum! I can't count how many times I have visited Red Robin since they appeared in our area. At one time we were so hooked we ate there every week. Huge portions and the refills on the soda and fries are a plus. Always crowded yet the service is quick. I have tried their salads and chicken sandwiches too. I had a french dip once, it was $12.99, I know, outrageous for a sandwich but the good thing was I got it free because it was a birthday meal with the rewards card. I tried it, it was ok but totally not worth the $$$. I agree with other reviewers, the prices are a bit high but they are really good burgers and food, always fresh and hot. I have never had to send food back which is rare for me because I have the worst luck with underdone food. Tower of onion rings is a big seller but I have definitely had better so even though it looks cool, that's about it. Check it out, you will too say - Yuuummmm!

I'm going to give Red Robin 4 stars because the service, quality of food, attention to detail and efficiency was out of this world! I'd give it 5 stars, but I kind of thought the prices were a bit out of this world too for what you get in food, but I suppose that's the price to pay for the level of comfort, service that you receive and the quality of customers you sit amongst. In their defense, they do offer unlimited refills on soft drinks and the "Bottomless Steak Fries" which we didn't use, but we understand that the prices offset the costs for the ones who do. The service from the moment they open the door for you and warmly greet you, to the moment they graciously thank you and hold the door as you leave has been one of the best experiences I've ever seen for a casual, chain restaurant. It's great to see that their staff have a lot of energy without laying it on to thick with the "flair". They honestly look like they enjoy working there and have fun doing so too. If you want quantity over quality and don't care about who you're dining around, you can pull up a seat at the trough at the Old Country Buffet up the street. YIKES!!! I'll be back to treat and entertain friends and family, but for just myself alone or with my girlfriend we can probably settle for something that costs less that has equal or better value for our money.

Way back in 2006 or so I first tried a Red Robin when out in Phoenix. We didn't have such places back here in Milwaukee at the time so it was a new experience. I've liked it ever since when I'm too lazy to grill up my own burger at home. I'm a fan of the Burnin Love cheese burger but really who doesn't like deep fried jalapeno pepper coins, pepperjack cheese, cayenne seasoning, all served on a jalapeno roll! Who I ask!?! It really is good and unless you seriously dislike spicy things you should try it. Otherwise the Whiskey bottom burger is good too. I have never had bad service at this location. The staff was attentive without hovering. My cup of ice tea never runneth empty. Anything I wanted was quickly handled. Downsides? Well it is kind of busy all the time. I've only had to wait twice, but waiting annoys me. I also can't get out of there without spending $30 if my girlfriend is with me. She like the milk shake and jalapeno coin appetizer. Other than that, I've got nothing.

The whiskey river barbecue chicken wrap is really good. It is a spinach wrap, with grilled chicken, fried onion strips, ranch and barbecue sauce, with other veggies. I'm a fan of delicious wraps and steak fries...bottomless steak fries, even better. The lemonade and sweet cocktails are pretty good here.

This is a nice place to stop by after shopping. Kid friendly and still pretty loud. Has some pretty nice gluten free choices and reasonable prices. It is a good go to places and usually moves pretty fast if you don't want to wait a long time and still want decent food.

this is the best burger place ever. so burgers are 9.50? so what its a huge burger. the choices here are endless and the staff is very warm and friendly being my first time here i had no idea what to do. i love the fact you pay about 3 bucks for a drink ex(coke) then i could order a smoothie lemonade anything i wanted (non alcoholic) though. the bottomless steak fries are the best of the best. the atmosphere was pretty loud but it was saturday at 2pm and it was happy hour go figure. just avoid weekends at this place its kind of loud but very very good service/food. i will def come back here. and if you have the money make it a monster burger for for 1.18 more. its well worth it. for two people itll cost you about 25-30 bucks which isnt bad for maybe going there 2-3 times a month.

A good burger place for the family. A tad pricey, yet worth it. Always packed, yet the service is quick. I would eat there more but Milwaukee has so many good options that it gets lost in the mega chain restaurants bombardment we have in Milwaukee's suburbs.

Ive been here two or three times because my mother loves this place. The lemonade is outstanding. The food itself is average. I love the bottomless fries. I wouldnt mind going back again but this place is not a favorite

Where do I start? I haven't been back to this establishment since my high school days, when they first introduced it to MKE, and it was such a fun and entertaining enviroment. Plus, who can complain about bottomless fries? Well, I returned excited for a big burger and those delicious fries and found only disappointment after disappointment. My friend and I were greeted with the usual door opening and friendly smile/ welcoming, and prompt seating (we arrived before the weekend lunch time rush). Then, we sat there. No waitress, not overly busy, tons of workers, etc. She finally arrived and by then we were ready to order. The Waitress had no desire to be there. Never asked us how our food was, if we needed anything, and tossed us the bill before we were even done eating. I remind you... it wasn't even busy yet. Our soda was flatter than flat, we had to specifically ask for a basket of those delicious fries, and found our sodas still on our 'given too soon' bill after we had kindly informed her and simply asked for water. The burger joint I used to love is no longer a top chosen burger joint. I'll head some where else where the customer service is above par.

Used to be my favorite burger, but that's past. The Service took it down two stars on this last visit. The waitress interrupted me twice while I ordered, didn't offer a refill on our lemonade, wasn't around a lot, gave me the wrong bill, just took the bill for someones drinks and spun her back to me without a word, didn't say "Sorry bout that" until I got the new bill, didn't clear the table. Not the normal service there, but too late. There are other new places to try. Christi's bar has more burgers for us to taste.

Only because my kids and I stood at the entrance a good 2 minutes - yes, I time my arrival to see if the establishment really wants my money - before I asked if I had to wait to be seated. There was no one ahead of me. The hostesses were in deep conversation. As we were there to enjoy dessert only, we were directed to the bar area. The bartender was GRRRREAT! Made the best Oreo Cookie Shake and totally took care of us! Have been to this restaurant several times; in general, the food and service always grrrreat! Last night may have been an off night - saved by the GRRRREAT bartender!

Burgers are overpriced and taste frozen, service is just average. But what's up with all the flies in the restaurant? It was ridiculous. Why would you want to bring your family here?

  • Curtis S.

My kids favorite restaurant. I love the food and the atmosphere. I just can't eat here as much as I would like for the simple reason that I always order "The Whiskey River Barbecue Chicken sandwich" and after learning how bad it is for you, I can't eat it as much as I would like. But damn, that's what makes it soooo delicious! I have always had great service and as soon as my drink starts to get low, they are there with another. I like the fact that it's all you can eat fries as well. After discovering how good there onion rings are, I need to order those as well. If you are looking for some really good fatty food, this place is a must!
