I had dinner with my friend. I ordered the new crab legs for the addl price of $2.99 and my friend had the grilled salmon, lobster and shrimp. The new crab were tasty but not worth the addl price. We had a new waiter. Blessings to him as he was a bit overwhelmed with other tables other waitstaff informed us. This was my early Birthday dinner from my dear friend. (8-5 actual date) This is still my go to restaurant for crab fest! However, in the near future I will have have the regular snow crab legs which are just as tasty. Thank you, Deanna PS do you actually serve REAL butter w your food???????

An absolutely awful experience. My sister and I ordered to go tonight. Should have taken it as an omen when we waited forever to place the order over the phone, about 8 minutes on hold before we placed the order. They said it would take 45 minutes, which I expected for a Friday night. My sister ended up waiting an additional 45 minutes when she went to pick up the food. The bartender apologized that it was taking so much longer but really, double the time and nothing was comped?! We ordered the sampler appetizer and the wood grilled combo. No complaints on the wood grilled combo. But my salad that came with meal tasted like it had been sitting out for awhile. It was warmer than it should have been considering we live like 5 minutes away. We didn't get any cocktail sauce for the shrimp in the sampler app platter. The cheddar biscuits were cold. Overall a disappointing experience. Had they told us over phone it would be an hour and a half, that's fine. But saying it's 45 over the phone only to wait an additional 45 is ridiculous. I actually called my sister because I was worried something happened to her.

I wouldn't usually rate a mainstream restaurant 4 stars but after dinning at this red lobster a few times I have to say it is pretty consistent with above amazing service!

Visiting this location was a great experience. The host was pleasant. Our server Sandy was very attentive to our needs. Very pleasant she had an fun aura about her. The food was amazing! Lunch specials were great! So much food and that cheddar bay biscuits they're known for, AMAZING! Highly recommend visiting this location!

Since I used to work for Olive Garden, and Red Lobster used to be under the same parent company of Darden Inc., I used to frequent Red Lobster more because of my employee discount. Last summer, however, Darden sold Red Lobster away, and away went my amazing discount. Discount or not, I still love eating at Red Lobster. Their promotions always get me in the door! My favorites are the Endless Shrimp, Crabfest, and Lobsterfest! I think the new company that is in control of Red Lobster is taking it in the right direction. Such a simple thing as keeping more seafood on the menu and adding more LOBSTER to the menu are great by me!

Nice scenery and nice bartender, probably can't say the same for the food unless you order the mussels, it's delicious! Shrimp tastes horrible like as if it has been frozen... Probably twice! Mussels are awesome, though. The drink selection is very limited too unless you enjoy frozen drinks, they got plenty of those.

I really should know better than to expect anything better than just ok from a place like Red Lobster. You just look at their menu photos and prices and somehow convince yourself that it is going to be good. I doubt I would ever go here by choice, but this is where the party was, so to Red Lobster I went. We were a pretty big party, 14 I believe. For some reason they are not willing to take reservations, even for parties of this size. We ended up waiting an hour and a half for a table on a Sunday night, and we wouldn't have even been seated then if it weren't for us asking them to push a few tables together for us. The best part of any meal at the RL is the cheddar biscuits. We got the coconut shrimp appetizer, which was actually pretty decent as well, just a bit skimpy. I shared a platter that was pictured on their specials menu as a huge delicious feast of lobster, scallops and shrimp. Thankfully I had eaten way too many biscuits, because there is no way that would have ever filled us up. The service was adequate at best. We asked the server to separate the bill, to which she agreed, but when it came time to pay they were all lumped together. When they finally did split it off for us, there was an extra drink charged on our bill. They took it off, but only after at least a half hour of back and forth and a managers assistance. Throughout the majority of the meal our server was nowhere to be found. At one point someone came around to fill up waters, but missed our half of the table and then disappeared for another stretch. No thank you, I will take my business elsewhere.

Service was poor in the bar and the restaurant. Food quality was mediocre. I was not impressed at all. It wasn't just me. The gentleman at a table near me had an issue with his lobster. He tried to get his waiter to come back with no luck.

Yes, this is one of those chain restaurants. However, the service is always good, the food is good, and I love, love , love their cheese bread! Dinners at Red Lobster are always a treat.

Visited here early on a Monday for dinner (4pm) when you might expect the kitchen to be a little slow. No so! Our server, Deb, was delightful! Our first course came very quickly. The rest was delivered in perfect succession. We came for the clam strips, which my wife truly enjoys. I had some wonderful cole slaw. The cheddar biscuits were excellent, of course. The rest of the meal was quite good! No complaints. I give the 5 stars, not because RL is a 5 star restaurant, but because our meal and service were very good and at a reasonable price. We'll visit again and ask for Deb.

Went there because my wife likes their coconut shrimp (mostly the dipping sauce). I am more than aware that red lobster is not the place to go for quality seafood. Normally I also know not to get their alfredo dishes because it is usually in a pool of butter. However, I am a sucker for seafood pasta dishes and I thought just maybe if I ordered the crab alfredo rather than the shrimp, it might be different. It was. I have never had a dish with so much salt. So, on top of the butter lake, I also was hit with a bucket of salt. To put it in perspective, the cheddar biscuits were significantly less salty. I think my tongue had a chemical burn afterwards.

It's Red Lobster. What's not to like? A little salty, but overall the food was tasty. My wife and I stopped for lunch on a Friday. Polite attentive service with a smile. We'll come back again, at some point.

Chain chain chaaaaaaain (it's a song). Not to be a snob, but I don't love chain restaurants! There are SO many better places to go. I sound like a snob. I'm not - I promise! So we go here about once a year with a giftcard And it's ok. I remember coming here often as a kid and it being much better though. Last time, it was Lobster Fest (it's always some sort of "fest" here), so we ordered: The lobster bake: shrimp, scallops, mussels, lobster, fettuccine (good, but the mussels were not - fishy!), not very hot The lobster feast: 2 kinds of lobster, shrimp pasta, fries (also good, but not hot) You could tell that our waiter forgot to get our food from the kitchen and was slammed, so someone else brought it out. READ: it was sitting under the heat lamps just waiting and cooling off. Moderately warm fries are OK, but moderately warm seafood...meh, not so much.

Been visiting the Lobster for years, remember going since I was a little kid, back when they had hush puppies and high back booths. Through the years it has made many changes, some good, some not so great. No a days, I go with friends for a lunch or a different dinner option when they have a special that someone is interested in. Service is a hit or miss. Sometimes you get a great wait person like the last time I was there but other times you could get a couple of the worst waiters / waitresses you would believe ever existed. Luckily the turn around seems to be pretty high there so it's always a new experience. Menu is often changing, they just got a new one recently. More selections, more choices to create your own and more appetizer choices. If you are looking for mediocre seafood with good garlic cheese biscuits and salad, this is your place. Good thing for the Lobster that there are not many seafood restaurants around the area that are below $20 a person, which allows them to still have a wait on weekends.

NOT DIFFERENT, UNLESS DIFFERENT MEANS THE SAME As you may have guessed from previous reviews, a Darden gift card was the impetus for this pilgrimage to Red Lobster. I know there are enough of us that have been traumatized by this restaurant that we could form a support group. Let's begin. THE ENDLESS RENOVATION Every few years, Red Lobster's marketing department decides to boost sales with an update to its restaurants' decor. The problem is, that the fresh look always looks like a tired version of itself, so nothing is gained. This time they took down nautical themed walls and blue carpeting, and installed new blue bead board walls and new nautical decorations. The WEIRD thing is that Red Lobster stays open DURING the remodel. So you are literally dining next to unpainted walls, duct taped floors, particle board, and exposed wires. Some may find this quaint. I don't. Even without seeing the finished product, the ending is predictable. Like Gilligan's Island, you know how this one is going to end. THE ENDLESS PROMOTION When ISN'T it "Lobsterfest" at the Red Lobster? Seriously! There is always some flavor of this promo on the specials menu. Tonight was no exception. THE DRINKS They have a contrived Applebees-ish drink menu, where they toss some liquor in a blender with a ton of ice and some fruit drink, and pour it into a exceptionally tall, but very thin, glass. David Copperfield can't make 6 ounces of liquid look like a giant drink, and apparently neither can Red Lobster. Or any of these places for that matter. Like a two pump chump, you aren't fooling anyone with your fancy "little" glass, Red Lobster. My other half always orders one of these $9 things. The calamity! THE FOOD Again, the other half always buys right into the "festival" nonsense, and was gifted with a plate of plastic-coated shrimp on skewers, a Maine Lobster tail, and some fancy, wild grained, overcooked and watery Rice-A-Roni. The comment: it was really good, but salty. I'm thirsty. How about another $9 tall Hawaiian Punch. I am not a huge seafood fan, so I'll dispense with the pretense that I would appreciate their menu. That isn't their fault. What I hold them fully accountable for is the audacity to serve me a plate of their "Fish and Chips," and with a straight face nonetheless. I thought to myself, "this is the safest thing on the menu, and it still falls under the seafood category." Who doesn't like a good order of fish and chips? I substituted the fries with a baked potato, and the waitress cheerfully accommodated the request. It also came with garden salad. The salad had moldy cucumbers, and rotten red onions! Yuck! Was I chewing on an armpit? It had been prepared in advance, obviously, and it was just plain gross. I actually had the waitress take it away. Then instead of a few pieces of flakey fish, the kitchen served up this humungous breaded thing that looked like a curled over marlin that had been over-breaded in the midst of fighting for its life and flattened with a meat tenderizer. Bravely, I TRIED to cut it with my fork. But to my frustration, all that happened was that a slick of grease pooled on the plate when pressed with the utensil. The fish itself was dry as a bone and tough. I've never seen anything like this mystery fish. I tasted it, and got a mouthful of oil and chewy white, sweet fish. Then there was 1/3 of the plank of fish that I determined was greasy breading. Then a really ODD thing happened: the fish "ejected" a grease logged spongy thing, with a "hiss." What was it? My fish had given birth to a french fry! Apparently the delivery was painful. It was stuffed in the middle of the deep fried fish in a cordon-bleu-chicken-breast infusion. I had enough entertainment for one night, so I called over the waitress and she looked down and said, "Oh, my!" She took it away immediately and returned to offer me something else to eat. It was taken off the bill, graciously. Then came the Chocolate Lava Cake, which was a chocolate-chemical-tasting concoction from Sara Lee, nuked to death, drizzled with Hershey's chocolate syrup, and accompanied by a scoop of vanilla. It was sweet, and that's always good, but it was meh. $8.50, really? APOLOGIES The middle-aged, paunchy male waiter a table over was offering up a warning to guests who contemplated ordering the Mussel Appetizer, apologizing for their extremely small size, while ensuring that they are flavorful and delicious. Anytime a man is apologizing for "something being small", you know only disappointment can follow. THE STAFF The staff is the only bright spot, and they deserve five stars. Especially for working in hard-hat hazard zones, and side stepping renovation rubbish with which OSHA would take serious issue. But when you counterbalance the fab service with terrible dog food, it "NETS" two generous stars (see how I did that?). I can't believe this is the same parent company that owns Capital Grille, which I love. How is this possible.

Their cheddar bay biscuits are the best ever. The steak was delicious. Our server was friendly and our food came out pretty fast. I love their mango berry drink, order it every time. I would definitely come back although sometimes the wait for a table can get long.

Red Lobster is about what you would expect from a chain restaurant...and for the moderate prices. We frequent this particular one about 3-4 times a year, and while not exceptional, the food is a good value. On our most recent visit on 10/7, it took a long time to get our food, the waitress didn't check back for refills, I asked for tartar sauce for my entree but by the time I received it, I was half done with my fish. Again, the food was just fine -- but considering it wasn't really busy, the service was slower than I expected.

First off, i am not a fan of chain restaurants. But i had a gift card and the miser in me would not allow it to be wasted. So i went for one of their advertised specials with shrimp. It was busy as usual. Staff was friendly. For some reason, i always feel like it is a forced friendliness. But waiter was attentive. Some of my shrimp was dry or overcooked but most of the dish was good. Took half home and their container was better than the one i got at Smoke Shack. Ppl rave about their biscuits but i am sure what they love is all the butter they are drenched in. So as good as they taste, i have to be careful on how many I eat.

I called in an order for pick up at this location. Two salads and biscuits. The guy on the phone told me 10mins. Due to traffic I got there half an hour later. I went up to the bar where I was supposed to pick my food up. There were three people behind the bar. After 5 mins of standing there without being acknowledged I interrupted the girl who was talking to the other coworker and asked where I should go to pick up my food. She stated I was in the right place. She finished talking to the other person, finally took my name and printed my ticket and I paid. After 15 mins I told her I was running late for work and was my good ready. She said oh I was about to check. Another 15 mins later she finally comes out with my food stating they were waiting on biscuits!!!!! Yeah I know they totally forgot and made my easy salads right then! I'm giving one star because I liked the food but the service was horrible!!!!! I won't be back!

I hate seafood, but I get a chicken pasta which is great. The Caesar salad is delicious! Oh, and I normally hate biscuits, but their cheddar biscuits are amazing!

I feel compelled to write about this place since I worked there for almost five years (2002-2007). When I started, I would have given the place five stars. For real. I didn't start working there because of a strong love of chain seafood cuisine: I worked there because I was desperate for a job and they had an ad in the paper. But I was impressed with the place-- it was clean, well-managed, and consistent. I filled in at the Mayfair location and was horrified by the condition of the kitchen-- it was not nearly as clean or organized as the Greenfield location. But towards the end of my time there, the management changed, and along with the change, the priorities changed. The new manager was much more of a tightwad, and many members of the strong kitchen staff quit when they weren't given reviews or raises. (Interestingly, I've heard that the previous manager works part time at the Mayfair location now, so I'd be willing to give that place a try now!) The benefits: the salads. They're made constantly. If the lettuce or tomatoes or cucumbers don't look good, they're not used. The gumbo is one of the most disgusting things on the planet. The clam chowder is delicious. And everyone loves the biscuits. (Customers would mention that they loved them, and I always wanted to say, "So? You're not special.") Fresh fish is the way to go. Yes, many things *taste* good there (like the shrimp alfredo, the stuffed mushrooms, the calamari), but the only, and I mean ONLY, way to eat even remotely healthy there is by ordering fresh fish. When I worked there, I ordered the broiled tilapia pretty much every time I ate there. Sometimes blackened salmon. A little hint: don't get grilled fish if you're watching fat. It seems like the smart option, but actually a lot of fat is added to the fish so it doesn't dry out on the grill. Broiled is the best way to go. Ordering fresh fish is also the most balanced meal-- everything comes with a salad, but fish comes with fresh steamed veggies (not fat-free) and a potato or wild rice pilaf. I love the baked potato at Red Lobster-- it may be my absolute favorite thing there-- they coat them in fake butter, roll them in kosher salt, and then bake them. I eat the skins and all. (A note about fake butter-- they use this magic concoction on pretty much everything-- the rice pilaf, the fresh fish, the baked potatoes, the shrimp scampi. I'm sure it's loaded with saturated fat and it's freakin' good). I can endorse no dessert. The chocolate wave cake is nice with cabernet, but pretty much all their desserts come frozen. My last praise about Red Lobster is the margarita on the rocks. They use a really nice mix there. It's good.

I haven't been here in about 10 years and it looks different. They are trying to be fancier and I think it is working. This place is so busy and so many people love it. It is a nice experience, and the prices are still very reasonable. The waiter was outstanding and very attentive. The food was delicious. The shrimp scampi was a huge portion, as was the fish 'n chips. The clam strips appetizer is always a favorite of mine. I really love the cheddar bay biscuits and they just keep brining them, and bringing them. You can even take the extras home with you. I'm impressed.

My favorite restaurant but found a bone in my fish last visit. Was disappointed how the management resolved it and only took it off the bill. No apologies, just fixed it and moved on. Maybe we will visit another restaurant next time instead.

My son chose seafood for dinner last night, and for lack of choices in seafood restaurants, Red Lobster was it. The kids love to ogle the poor lobsters in the tank. There was no wait at 8pm; the restaurant was moderately busy. Our server approached our table immediately, but was lacking in personality. He was not prompt in serving our first round of beverages and incorrectly assumed that my two kids and I would not be interested in starting off with an appetizer because he didn't try to offer us any - so we didn't order any. My son ordered crab legs and my daughter and I split their Seafood Trio Special. I've yet to enjoy any seafood entree since moving here from Maui 15 years ago and this night continued that disappointing trend. Everything was waaaay salty, I needed a magnifying glass to find the shrimp and our side of brocoli was more like cream of brocoli. THE BISCUITS, HOWEVER, ARE STILL MY ONE FAVORITE ITEM THERE :) And we ate them all up! Our server did eventually perk up - a little - and managed to engage in some light banter with my kids which is always nice. The kids like the place, and unbeknownst to many, kids do have a major infuence on where a family dines. So as long as they still like the place, we'll keep it on our list of places to go.

Ambiance: Well it's a chain restaurant, so you draw your own conclusions for that. Both over the top and bland at the same time. How do chains manage to do that? Beverages: Full bar in addition to specialty drinks that are pre-made. I had the Sunset Pina Colada which was your typical slushy machine beverage. I couldn't taste any alcohol but the flavor was decent. It came garnished with a big wedge of fresh pineapple which was nice as well as a strawberry. Food: Thomas Wolfe once famously quipped "You can't go home again". I use to love Red Lobster years ago but I definitely was not able to recapture that memory in the dinner I had recently. The crab alfredo, a dish I used to crave was lackluster at best. True, there were still the generous lumps of crab meat throughout the pasta but the alfredo sauce tasted nothing like I remember it. I found it to taste like it was from a jar and not freshly made with a nice pungency from anything resembling parmesan cheese. And what, might I ask, happened to the yummy Cheddar biscuits. They used to be highly flavored, with a butter moisture that made them delectable. The biscuits I had recently had none of seasonings I love and they were extremely dry. Harrumpf! I don't know if the ingredients/recipes have changed so much over the probably 10 years since I last ate here or I have but I found none of the comforts I used to. The one shining spot was from my boyfriend's plate. He shared his wood fire lobster tail with me and it was delicious with a nice smoky flavor from the fire. I would definitely order that again. Staff: Average staff found at a chain restaurant, I have no complaints.

This is a pretty standard Red Lobster restaurant which I usually end up enjoying. I had the shrimp linguini alfredo and it was delicious. The biscuits they have are pretty awesome too. My waitress was helpful and everyone in my party enjoyed their meal. If you liked one Red Lobster somewhere else, then you'd probably like this one too.
