Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Some of the best deep dish pizzas in town. If you disagree, I doubt your understanding of what makes a great pizza! I work nearby so I've had every (no joke) pizza on the menu and they are all great. The KC Barbecue, Bucky and Olympic Garden are some of my favorites.

Probably the best place for sandwiches in that area. Milios (right next door) ain't got nothing on the amazing deal you can get at Pizza Extreme. A sub, chip, and soda for 5.26 (includes tax). I LOVE this place. They make great subs for SUPER cheap. And they are always really nice. I've never experienced the bad customer service the other reviewer recieved and I've probably been there about 20 times. Definitely an office favorite.

I love the deep dish pizza and for lunch you get two big slices with a drink for 5 bucks. Awesome. Sandwiches are good too. Highly recommend.

This place makes food for people who don't really care about food. Tonight was my follow-up visit (since I always give a place a second try) and I can safely say I won't make that mistake again. The food presented doesn't match the photos on the menu. How can one overcook french fries and have them still be cold? If you want pizza, please try Roman Candle just a mile down the street. If Pizza Pit people read this, I might recommend you ask corporate to limit the menu so you can succeed with one or two items instead of serving a wide variety of overpriced garbage.

"it's not terrible, i've had worse" - my girlfriend "for the first time in history, bacon actually made my pizza worse" - me At least it was a fun experience ordering & waiting for my pizza to be ready, 15 minutes after it was suppose to be... ha ha

The girl who answered the phone tonight was really rude. The website said that it was open until 11pm and it was just 10pm so I called to order. The girl answered the phone and said in a really snarky voice that they were closed. I said to her that the website said that there was still an hour but she said well its not and hung up on me. I like their pizza but not the poor customer service.

Let me just say that the Parmesan Chicken Sub from Pizza Extreme is AMAZING!!! I love that thing, and have gotten it there off and on for years. I just am giving this a 2 star rating because the last two times in a row I've been to the Fish Hatchery location, I've gotten terrible customer service (though in fairness, it's always from the same person). The Raymond Rd location I've had exceptional service from, and the food is all the same (yummy!)

By far the best pizzas in town! The staff is always extremely friendly and the pizza is always delicious!

I will never order from this location again. First of all, about a month ago I ordered a "Pizza Pit" pepperoni and xtra cheese pizza. The pepperoni was overcooked to the point of being shriveled up and crispy, curled up edges and the crust was undercooked and doughy. The sauce was NOT Pizza Pit sauce. I grew up on Pizza Pit and it was always the best, trusted classic pepperoni pizza, with a very recognizable sauce. I went to the main company website and sent a comment/complaint about my bad food and have never received any acknowledgement regarding my complaint. THEN, tonight I figured I'd be safe ordering wings instead of pizza. Well. When I received my order it was not what I thought I had ordered. Because the system asked me to choose a wing sauce and two dipping sauces I thought I had the right thing; wings covered in sauce w/dipping sauces on the side. Then I looked at my receipt and saw I was charged for one extra dipping sauce because apparently they were all 3 considered dipping sauces. Also I noticed that the online price (the same price on my online order receipt) for the chicken was 13.95, but on my paper receipt was 13.50. When I called down to the store the lady made me aware that I had ordered the wrong thing. So I was happy to find out which item I really wanted so I could order it next time. Totally my fault that I ordered the wrong thing. Then I said what about none of the stuff on the receipt matching reality? I said, it's only a nickel difference (in their favor) but what was up with that? She told me their online system was messed up. O.k., fine but here comes the best part. When I questioned her about getting charged for an extra sauce, that I wouldn't have ordered if the online system hadn't asked me to choose a 2nd dipping sauce, and I might add that I specifically checked before checking out and my online receipt says 0.00 (free) next to all the sauces, she says "Of Course we charged you extra! What? You think you gonna get it for free???" I was flabbergasted as she obviously hadn't listened to what I said and her attitude sucked. I told her I didn't want anything for free, I didn't want it at all except their system asked me to choose another sauce. Between this woman's unbelievably rude attitude AND not even getting an acknowledgement of my complaint to the corporate office, I had had enough. I told her "ya know what? Just forget it because I will NEVER order from here again" She started to say something to the effect of "good, that's o.k." I hung up at that point. What a.....well, you know.

Ok So I ordered a Pizza and WIngs this evening and was a bit frustrated. First the delivery time took 75 mins when I was quoted 45 to 60....not a super big deal but still frustrating. Then I look at my bill and really got ticked off....I had a coupon for 11.99 for my pizza and was charged 12.50 plus an additional 3.75 for toppings - can you say rip off? Then I was charged 1.50 for a delivery fee....the box says FREE DELIVERY. To top it all off after I called....whoever I talked to....simply said the delivery fee goes to the driver and they are supposed to inform people of that....well I didn't get informed. He then said he was sorry and sat there in silence until I simply hung up. I will not order from this location again and I will be attempting to get in contact with a corporate office.
