Great summertime evening patio! This place is fantastic and the perfect place to watch the sunset out front with a few friends and a cold one. The food is good, drinks are moderately priced and the quaint little town square of Delafied is a treat on its own.

Last time I was here it was great! This time it was gaaaaabage ! Service was very slow waited w my table of 4, for 13 min for a waitress to take the first drink order. Had the chicken club was so so. Not much taste to it. Places can have an off day but you should be consistent with great service to keep customers. Another peeve nascar on all of the tv's in the bar but one. Who watches this junk north of Tennessee? The Brewers game is on! Deduct a star on that point alone.

Stopped in for their fish fry because it was very close to the hotel my party was staying at. It is hard to screw up a fish fry but Reveres managed to do that. My mates though the perch was really good but those of us that ate the cod were highly disappointed. It looked like they took out fish stick from the freezer and put them in a fryer. An hour ago. The cod was barely warm when it was served. You could tell it had been sitting around. The batter was bland and had no seasoning. I'd have been better off going to get a Filet o Fish. Those that ate the perch really enjoyed it. I wish I had followed their lead.

Just had my rehearsal dinner and loved every second of it. The atmosphere is great - very early American, homey place with rich, dark wood and fireplaces. The staff was lovely and accommodating and the food fantastic. We weren't huge fans of the marinara sauce, but everything else was delicious. The whole night was perfect and it was mostly due to the amazing staff at Wells!

I went to Reveres last night along with my husband and two other couples. We sat down at a table as there was no host/hostess. We waited about 10 minutes and was not even acknowledged by a server. I went to the bar and politely asked the bartender if a server would be around to take our order or if we were to order with him. He told me that he'd send someone over. After another 10 minutes still nothing...my husband went to the bar and got a round of drinks, as we'd been sitting there about 20 minutes. We finished those and still had yet to be acknowledged by a server. I again politely told the bartender that a server hadn't been to our table and he again said he'd send someone over. We waited another 10 minutes before finally deciding to leave. As we started gathering our items to leave a server finally came over, but by that point we were pretty over Reveres. Can't say we will be back.

Located in a nice, scenic area. The drink selection is pretty extensive, specifically the beers on tap, which I would fully expect from a WI tavern. The food is pub food, so it's not outstanding, but what are you expecting? I got the On Wisconsin burger, which had THREE cheeses melted on it. I love cheese, so this was awesome. However, three melted cheeses on a burger makes it pretty salty, so I had to balance that with a healthy dollop of sweet sweet ketchup. The fries were pretty standard, but nice and thick-cut. The only downside of the meal was the bun, which had no integrity. It fell apart under the density of the burger and I ended up having to use a knife and fork (which should only be an option when eating burgers, not a necessity...) Aside from the BUN, everything else was very nice, including the staff and the overall service. I kinda wanted to give it 3 stars, but felt that would be doing a disservice. So, really, more a 3.5 with a favorable nod for rounding up.

I'm only giving this place one star because of hosting live entertainment, which was fantastic! Five of us went specifically to watch the performance and decided to eat in the restaurant beforehand. Arrived at 7, seated at 7:30, didn't get our food until 8:45. Show started at 9. By the time we finished eating and paid, went downstairs to see the show only to discover a packed room and nowhere to sit. We were told upon arriving that we had to eat upstairs only to see servers once we got downstairs. I complained to the manager and he shrugged and said "well it's been a busy night, what can I do?" I suggested he refund our money and he said no, I'm not doing anything, I can't help that we are so busy." I will also mention that our server, a young, college or high school kid was more concerned about socializing with his friends at the table over than he was serving us. We did end up staying for the show, found a small table with no chairs. My husband and two friends went into another banquet room and stole them, so the evening wasn't a total loss. But we will never go back there, not even to see the entertainment.

A number of us have been meeting at Revere's regularly (3 -4 times a year) for about the last five years. We have never been dissatisfied. Sure, it is not a five star gourmet restaurant. It is what it is, a pub & grill. The food is always tasty, and the prices are reasonable. The service is very good, whether seated indoors or outdoors in the warmer weather. We will continue to patronize this establishment, as long as food and service continue at its current level.

Went here in a Friday for a fish fry. The interior is really cool & has nice decor! Service was excellent & the food was tasty! The fish fry came with 3 pieces & I ordered a potato pancake. The pancake had a crisp outside with a hash brown inside.

I've been here multiple times now and the food really isn't all that bad. Lots of choices nice bar and a great outside area. The seating is a bit funky with little rooms all over and the most god awful chairs ever that are super uncomfortable. What sucks about this place is the service. The servers themselves are not to bad. Not overly helpful but it's not bad. The hostess, young, tall, brown hair and a pony tail, is a total B. Last time I was there she told several people, "these are the tables I have, take it or leave it." Really your like 17 you don't have the years on you to even consider being that rude to people honey. Grown up a little and learn that you are no queen being a hostess at Revere's in Delafield.

Great place, we live in the area and visit regularly. Bartenders are attentive and reliably pour a good cocktail (not the case in other area restaurants!). We typically stop by for a few drinks, and often eat at the bar or the nearby high top tables. Food is good and is always served in a reasonably prompt timeframe, relative to how busy the restaurant is. If you expect full dinner and drinks in 15 minutes during a Packer game, your expectations probably won't be met. Not the cheapest place in town, but we prefer knowing our drinks and dinner will be predictably good. They have vegetable and fish options, far more than just "bar food". We will keep coming back.

Honestly I normally love this place but my last visit wasn't the greatest. My friend and I both ordered small Caesar salads, and the lettuce was limp. Our other friend however ordered a burger which she said was delicious and the sour cream and chive fries are great! We ordered there giant pretzel as an appetizer and honestly we just should've ordered appetizers because I know the cheese curds are delicious as well. But the pretzel is salted perfectly and is super warm and soft on the inside and they serve it with this delicious spicy cheese that we all loved! The out door seating is quite nice though as we'll as inside. The staff are all super sweet too! I recommend this place just try not to get a salad late in the evening!

It's ok. Nothing special for the price. Better burgers and sandwiches down the road at the Water Street Brewery. I tried to get a plain turkey sandwich and they couldn't do it. The waiter couldn't understand what I wanted. These kids have never heard of a turkey sandwich. Their sandwichs are gloppy, but ok. It is a typical tavern.

I will never go back. They have apparently cut their seating in half which means a very long wait. We waited for about a half an hour early one evening only to be seated at a very high table. This would be ok except it is not appropriate for our two toddlers which the hostess was apparently oblivious to. We left without eating since we did not want to waste more time waiting for a table where our kids could sit.

I went here for the first time as part of a Grooms dinner and I was not disappointed. I did not have the chance to view the menu (as we were offered the traditional chicken or beef), but what we had was amazing. I had the stuffed chicken breast, which was moist, tender, and delicately handbreaded and fried. Perfect. The only downside to the meal was everyone's mashed potatoes were lukewarm at best. They had a great buttery-garlic flavor, but would have been SO much better if they were hot. The atmosphere is pretty cool, like some sort of Georgian mansion, complete with dark wooden beams peeping through the ceiling. If you get a chance, go down to the cellar to watch the game, play a few rounds of pool, and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere.

We had an impromptu, first visit lunch at Wells Street Tavern today while driving through Delafield. We noticed numerous people eating lunch and relaxing on tables outdoors in the front of the restaurant and thought, "Why not?" Due to the heat, we sat inside. Though the inside of the restaurant had two tables next to a window, the (male) host took us to another room with no windows that had two separate tables full of boisterous and loud children. We asked if we could sit at the aforementioned window view table in the other area of the restaurant and were obliged immediately. The beer menu has an overwhelming offering of beers; too many to count; mostly in the $5.50 to $6.50 a pint range. The menu has salads and numerous sandwiches, including a special lunch menu with a list of different "pulled pork" sandwiches, each of which is $7.95, which includes your choice of fries (regular or sour cream and chives) or homemade chips. One of us had the "Nashville pulled pork" sandwich. It was excellent. It had a hearty portion of pork that was moist and tender to the bite, served on a decent roll. This particular version was served with coleslaw inside the sandwich and a side of BBQ sauce. Our other dish was their large (small is also a choice) walnut and grilled chicken salad for $9.95. Fresh European blend of greens and radicchio, walnuts, "craisins," feta cheese and diced, grilled chicken breast that was excellent. Another winner! Hosting duties were shared by two individuals, a young lady and a young man, at the entrance/front door area twenty feet or so from where we sat. The young lady appeared (and sounded) unhappy; we heard her carp to her co-worker about restaurant issues. She wore a frown on her face as she cleaned and set up tables, however, when we were leaving the restaurant, she did offer us a friendly farewell and thanked us. All the other folks working here, including our waiter, appeared rushed and gave the impression they were stressed out from being short of wait staff. However, our meal arrived within a decent amount of time after we ordered our food, so it did not negatively impact us.

It has such potential, and then just does not deliver. The Good: The place is kind of cool. Had kind of an upscale pub feel. It's located in Delafield, so you have the mix of people wearing Keds, and those wearing Allen Edmonds. It kind of gives the place a genuine feel and the dark wood makes you feel comfortable. If you're coming in just to drink, belly up to the bar and enjoy. Good beer selection and a great vibe. The Bad: The food is just Meh. The burger I had seemed like it was a pre formed sysco patty with little taste and lots of gristle. The fries were decent, but again, I think they were pre-seasoned. The cost for the food is higher than what it should be. Water Street Brewery delivers much better quality for about the same price. I wanted so much more, and it was just disappointing. The Ugly Parking can be a pain, there seems to be a lot of it, but there is really not, and with the restrictions, you can get a ticket if you're not careful. The short of it. If you just want a drink, stop in, it can be fun. If you're looking for food, there is much better choices in the area.

Lets starts with the negatives- Service can be a bit slow on kick butt summer evenings. (That is all). On to the positives. I have been there dozens of times and I can't ever remember having a bad meal. The ambience is unique. I love their wings and Monday burger night. You can't find a better value around then build your own burger! They have awesome specialty Bloody Mary's. I'm drooling while typing the words sour cream and chive fries.... If you've ever had the hankering for a deep-fried sausage-wrapped hard-boiled egg dipped in brown mustard, try the Scotch egg. Yums. Good fish fry. Their beer selection rivals ANY area restaurant. My family is in love with the outdoor seating and they religiously have live music. They are extremely kid friendly. They know the ins and outs of throwing a St Patricks day party. Great community restaurant!

We needed a quick Valentine dinner stop and place was not busy. We came in sat, ordered drinks and food. Food to table was a bit slow. Food tasted great. The best homemade soup I've had in a long time. I will return. Our server Matt did a nice job too.

Had dinner here on Friday night with the family (wife, kids, father-in-law and his friend and her daughter). Beautiful night, so outside was very crowded, but we elected to eat inside. I had the walleye fish fry and it was very good. Usually always have a Guiness here, but since it was so hot that day, I was in the mood for something lighter. Was impressed with their beer list and went with a Bell's Amber. Anyway, have eaten here a bunch and food is always pretty solid with a couple misses in the past. Would actually give it 3.5 stars. Nothing exceptional, but always pretty solid and I like the restaurant's decor and feel.

I wanted to bring my parents to a fun restaurant for a fish fry. We made a reservation for 8 people. When we got to the restaurant, it was packed, and the teenagers at the hostess stand told us we'd have to wait at least a half hour! There was nowhere to sit and wait, so we ended up going downstairs where there was no service, so we could sit down. When we finally got seated, we were dismayed to find out they put us in the bar, with the music blasting and a TV in our faces! C'mon, guys, really? The food is just okay. Those who had fish fries thought they were fine. My friend and I had the asian chicken salad. The dressing was way too spicy, and we were both really disappointed. Ugh. Will not be back anytime soon. Lake Country needs some new restaurants that offer something besides marginal bar food!

I've been a semi-regular at Wells Street for years--mostly for drinks, particularly when it was the only smoke-free option in Lake Country. The new owners (of Leff's fame) have made some improvements and it is still a great bar, but the food is pretty standard fare. I actually like the chicken burger, but the other sandwiches are just average and the entrees are pretty ordinary. The service is great, though, and the outdoor seating is great in the warmer months. Wells Street is a great place for drinks and the occasional burger, but head elsewhere for dinner...and be warned that they often have live music starting at 9 p.m. on weekends. If you want a quiet place to have a drink, this isn't it on the weekends.

We've pedaled past this place many of times and wanted to drive back to check it out (It is now named Reveres so keep that in mind). We finally stopped by a couple weeks ago and were glad that we did. It was a great night out so outdoor seating was all taken up (we thought this was a good sign since the place was busy) so we took a spot inside. The decor inside felt very Philadelphia colonial--which was much different than what I expected, but it was very nice. Most of our group had burgers of some type and were very happy. I almost ordered the Double Revere Extraordinaire but decided against a trip to the ER...here's what it is: Two half-pound burgers grilled and topped with cheddar cheese, Apple wood smoked bacon, haystack onion rings and Irish whiskey BBQ sauce. Served between two grilled cheese sandwiches!!! Sounds absolutely over the top...I ended up getting the Mac N Cheese and adding grilled chicken--it was a bit bland but a dash of salt and pepper later and it was very good. Service was attentive and quick to fill our waters and beers (great selection of micro's and out of state) which is always a plus. We'll definitely be back.

Ouch. This review is quite painful to write, really. I often find a connection between decor and dishes. I wanted to like the food as much as I liked the decor. Unfortunately, there was a huge disconnect. We had a group of 6, all looking forward to some quality pub fare. The two are not mutually exclusive. I know, because I have had some killer pub food (see: Wayfare Tavern in San Fran). There was very little quality to be found here. My dad chose chili. My mom chose broccoli cheddar soup. My husband chose the brunch of eggs, sausage, and toast. My younger sister chose a burger and fries. My older sister and I shared a Cuban and a half order of nachos. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, fell way short of quality. The soups were cold. The eggs? Overcooked, rubbery and dry. The nachos were cold, so the cheese had hardened. The gooey goodness one expects from nachos was nowhere to be found. The Cuban was cold as well. The pork was tender, but it was the only plus to the sandwich. It was not enough to redeem the dish, nor was anything good enough to make it worthwhile to return. Well, maybe the one positive out of the entire visit was the jumbo pretzel. However, I am not going to make the 30 minute drive out to Delafield for a giant pretzel. I will stick to frequenting Leff's other establishment (Lucky Town), where everything is delicious AND there is a jumbo pretzel.

Love this spot...especially the live music outside on Thursday nights. Good Reuben and draught beer. Try the fancy fries.

I have no experience with the food as every time I walk through the door I am struck by a very greasy smell... I can't imagine experimenting with what that would do to my stomach. Instead I've stuck to the bar on a few occasions and was impressed with none of them. It's very brightly lit, which is strange for a bar. The drinks were ok, but it's a crap-shoot as to whether you get your money's worth. The drinks are decently priced (if you're getting a 20oz European pint) but whether you get a European glass, or an American (16 oz) one is up to the luck of the draw when the bartender grabs your glass. My friend thought it was just the glass shapes being different, but we tested it with my empty glass and his new pint... his full to the brim pint didn't fully fill my glass. Too bad we both were drinking the same beer and paid the same amount. The decorator of this bar was confused! There's colonial furniture mixed with German, Irish and English wall coverings. Much of the furniture and wall hangings are recycled from a pub that was there 10 years ago, but no longer fit the style of the bar. Edit: Was back there recently at the request of a friend who lives very close. VERY bad service that night... over the course of a few hours sitting at the bar I ordered three drinks and waited a LONG time to get the bartenders attention before I could order each drink. No, the bar was not busy, they were just preoccupied watching the baseball game or taking shots with the 'regulars.' Got to the point where I had to wave and holler 'hello,' to get either bartenders attention.

I visited Wells Street Tavern twice - on our first visit we had the Friday night fish fry, which was ok (nothing spectacular, but not horrible either). On our second visit, we went for burgers. Unfortunately, my burger was burnt ( I mean black/bitter!) on the bottom after ordering it medium. When I spoke with the waitress, she did not even offer to have it remade - I had to tell her that I wanted to have the patty remade. While waiting, I bit into a french fry and hit a moldy potato - yuck!! Eventually, I got the burger from the kitchen without the cheese/toppings that I paid for - (that went back with the original charred burger). Honestly, I hope the waitress was new or that it was on "off day" - because I would hate to think that such a nice place would train their staff to handle issues this way. It is still my feeling that if an order is improperly cooked, the waitress should offer to have it remade - not just say sorry and walk away. Bottom line, the customer should be given what they have paid for. I do not mind spending money on a meal, but wasting money just makes me angry! I do not plan to go back again, which makes me very sad...it's close to my house & has a nice ambiance. I was extremely disappointed in the service and the food; life is too short to drink bad wine or eat bad food.

My girlfriend and I stopped here for lunch today. We were greeted at the door by the host, a very polite young man who showed us to a table in the bar. We looked through the menu and there seemed to be a number of interesting dishes. A waiter attended to the table next to us three or four times without even looking at us. After we had waited 15 minutes, I was ready to leave but my girlfriend went out to talk to the host again and explained that no one had stopped by our table yet even to take a drink order. He apologized and said he would get someone right away. We saw him head back to to talk to someone and he waved at us as he headed back to his post. We waited another ten minutes, still with no service. At that point, there was no way I was going to give them a chance. We walked out and the host apologized. We drove down the road to the Water Street Brewery and were served a good meal in less time than we waited for a server to stop by for the first time. I don't know if this is typical for the Wells Street Tavern, but they will never have a chance to show me otherwise.

We had cocktails here last Saturday evening. Both bartenders were fantastic - good drinks and very service oriented. They had live music from Eidir, which was fantastic. I can't speak for their food as we did not try it.

On a pleasant somewhat rare warmer (2009) June Sunday WI. afternoon after a nice golf game, we decided to head over here for a beer. This was to be enjoyed on the outdoor patio in front with the nice picnic style benched tables. First of all, let me say that the bird droppings residue (table top) was very unappetizing to look at. We switched tables. Secondly, to top all of this off we were COMPLETELY ignored as if we were invisible to the wait staff. My friend had finally gone to retrieve our own beers inside at the bar. This is good service? They were not busy but only moderately so. Thirdly, we were still yet ignored to now order an appetizer being the so so chicken tenders. I was so put off, I had written a couple of emails. One to the restaurant's management, one to Carol Deptolla writer and critic of the Journal-Sentinel paper. Not once did I hear back from the restaurant but Carol had told me that would be a good indicator or their customer service orientation. She's so right. I'll never go back here again. Poor, poor ethics and they'll eventually be out of business with this attitude. I'm wondering, on Amy S. review below. What are her standards? It is so hard to believe her experience was a rarer one. Or perhaps some are much more tolerant of crappy service? For what my opinion is worth to some, avoid this place. There are way too many others willing to offer much better service I'm sure. And, you can sit outdoors when its warmer out.

Best neighborhood bar you could get. The place is beautiful with a fun basement. I love getting a (reasonably priced) drink and playing ping pong in the basement. There is rarely anyone down there and it kind of feels like you have your own awesome rec room in your home. The staff is great, too. The bartenders are a reliable, nice face to see.

This place is the worst. The food was only mediocre, and the service was unreasonably slow. Went in for fathers days with the kids and waited an hour and a half for a salad two kids meals and a veggie burger. Waitress offered apologize, but never anything else, like chips or veggies or something to make up for the wait. It was terrible. I will not return.

We have been here multiple times. Always very good food, and always mediocre service. Today, we had two servings of chile served refrigerator cold. The waitress took it and brought it back cold again. The third try it was brought warm but not hot. Seriously, they can't even heat up chili?

The service blows , let's just make that clear . I've been coming here frequently for a couple years and its always the same. It all around blows , there isn't really one thing that stands out over the other its a lot of things . That being said : I really enjoy the food and the atmosphere . They have a huge outside patio and lots of seating inside . There's space downstairs you can rent for a meeting , etc. Its a fun place to watch any sort of game . They have a couple different options for bloody Mary's . All of which are excellent . The cheese curds here are hands down the best I've had anywhere ! They have a chipotle ranch you can get with to dunk em . I like the lunch and dinner options , I however do not recommend the brunch . I believe they only do it on the weekends . From the quality of the food and preparation of how its put together , you can tell it's not their cup of tea . I feel like they do it to be trendy . Off the brunch menu I got the egg Benedict . I thought they actually forgot the sauce , but our waitress said maybe I just don't know the taste of hollandaise sauce ? ( see attached pictures , you can be the judge ). The ham was super dry and it all around looked and tasted awful . Didn't care for the hash browns at all either . My boyfriend got the corn beef hash and eggs , which looked like it had been sitting around all day . My dad got the breakfast burrito and seemed to enjoy it . If your going to get brunch I suggest that or maybe their sweet breakfast items . All around if you prepared for the crap service its a good place to come too . Stick to lunch or dinner options , and get a bloody . The foods worth it .

Very nice patio with lots of space and plenty of shade. Classic BBQ Pulled Pork was very tasty. Chive fries are a nice upgrade. Wife said the Cubano was very good - pork was nice and tender. Grilled cheese and chicken tenders where done right for the kids. Pleasant lunch experience. Price was on the higher end for pub food, but was worth it.

Food: delicious. Service/atmosphere: okay. My boyfriend and I came for lunch and ordered a giant pretzel and two burgers - Wells Street for me and Revere for him, plus a pint of Spotted Cow. Word of (delicious) warning: they DO mean HUGE when they say 'giant'. This pretzel was twice the size of my face and at least four times the size of a normal big pretzel. (Never mind what that says about my face. Math isn't my strong point.) It came with jalapeño cheese sauce, which was warming and delicious albeit probably made of fake cheese. We managed to down 3/4ths of the monstrosity before our burgers arrived. The food was all good - a nice bonus to our meal was that I didn't feel stuffed after, even with the surprise of the pretzel size. Don't judge me: I wanna eat my junk and still not feel like junk after, okay?! Wells Street managed to accomplish just that. I will say we were annoyed by a loud, repetitive banging from the back room throughout our lunch. Turns out it was some lady slapping the bar for a game...not completely annoying whatsoever, right? But all in all, this is a good grubbing spot. I'd come back for that pretzel.

My experience is a little different than the other reviews. I came alone for lunch one day while exploring Delafield. I ordered the pulled pork with the whiskey BBQ sauce and it was fantastic. Flavor was great, pork just fell apart and the special fries were awesome. However I guess since I was a single female I was forgotten? My drink was empty right after I received my meal and my waitress never stopped back by.. I even stopped eating hoping for her to come by to fill up my drink, no such luck. Once I FINALLY received my bill it took another 10 mins for her to come by and pick up my payment. Bad service always ruins places for me. I may come back to check out the bar and try eating there but I've heard there's a lot of other great options in the area.

With the exception of the fish fry, this is overpriced, reheated, pre-packaged food. An absolute waste mhusband ordered the Ghost Pepper Mac & Cheese, which was penne in an untemarkable cheese sauce with dried, pre-packaged ghost pepper flakes. How do i know, you ask? Because i got him the same Ghost Pepper flakes from Amazon for Christmas. I paid $20.00 for the bottle, we paid +$20.00 for Reveres to throw them on pasta and call it an entree. My bruchetta chicken sandwich was a pre-packaged chicken breast, with oddly uniform diced tomatoes, and a little cheese on a sad, soggy bun. Unpleasant dinner for 2 adults, 2 children: +$70.00. What a bummer.

First time here and the nachos were pretty good. I love that they have so many different drinks made with Guinness. Our server was a little preoccupied training a new server at times but I know this wouldn't be the typical service.

Short and sweet: Imagine if the wrestling team hosted a fish fry. There you have it. A bunch of bros not giving a damn about any particular table, but just robotically going from one table to the next. The service was okay at best. Not bad by any means, but also very standoffish and absent-minded. Our server forgot several sides, and had to be asked a few times. The good part, however, was the fish. The beer battered perch was outstanding! The pieces were big and the batter was light and crispy and, as a good beer batter should be, very flavorful. The coleslaw was rather good, the potato pancake was oddly thick and creamy (still rather tasty, however), but the tartar and bleu cheese (for the side of sour cream and chive fries) were very bland (once we actually got these from our server, who we had to ask several times). Either way - delicious beer battered lake perch for a good price! I'll be back for the fish, but the service, while not terrible, was almost nonexistent.

I have eaten at Reveres several times and have been underwhelmed by their food in comparison to other similarly priced places around the area. The food there can be hit or miss, I've had decent burgers some of the time and other times my food had been hastily made and burnt. My experiences with service at Reveres has been inconsistent. On rare occasion the wait staff have been good, but most of the time they were inept and slow. The last time i visited was the straw that broke the camel's back. I stopped in with my family for lunch and we were sat outside. After 20 minutes with our menus we began to wonder where our server was so I walked up to the front again to request someone to see us so we could at least put in a drink order. The lady asked if we had been seated by someone and then abruptly walked away from me. I went back outside and waited for another 15 minutes as 3 different servers (including the lady I had expressed concern to) proceeded to walk passed us. At this point we decided to leave. We were seated by a host, spent 30 minutes with the menus, asked politely for a server, and essentially were denied... Poor form Reveres. I want to like this restaurant. The prices are reasonable and the building itself has a nice ambiance, but that all dulls in comparison to how they approach their business.

Food was good. Had some different things on the menu which was nice to see rather than the ordinary burger and fries. The service was awful. I'd go back for the food if I was guaranteed good service.

What a great group of bartenders and wait staff! This place is such a good place to hang out and enjoy a drink, good food and great company. Go!

We like this place. In the past we've had a nice WI fish fry. We also held our 40th Birthday party in the downstairs party room. That was 2 years ago and they seemed behind the times with their technology. We love the atmosphere! Plenty of room for a casual get together or a meeting with friends. This time we went for lunch with some girlfriends and brought my 4 year along. They offered a fun coloring sheet & crayons for him along with a nice kids menu. Everyone ordered a salad except for myself. I was intrigued with the pulled pork menu. Everyone enjoyed their salad, even the Oriental. Maybe due to Mary's review they improved the dressing since it was not too spicy this time. My sandwich was OK but a bit dry. It seemed to need more barbecue sauce. I ordered the Kansas City style with the slaw. Love the chive fries! Our server was very patient and attentive! Great experience!

Food was great & inexpensive. Drinks weren't bad either & it looks like they have a pretty decent beer selection. We didn't have reservations & when we walked in we were told that there would be a 20 minute wait. I don't mind a wait, especially when I don't have reservations... but this was all very strange because there were a ton of open tables & they did not look particularly short staffed.

We have gone a few times. Service is slow. Wait staff has too many tables. Food is ok. Not our favorite place to go.

Service = 1 star, Food = 3 stars and I feel that is being generous. We were seated 15 minutes before we saw our waitress and I think we saw her only 3 or 4 more times the entire evening. We were sitting in the front room so it wasn't like we were in the back and out of the way. The food is good, not great but the service is so painfully slow that it makes the experience not worth it. There are too many better options to go back to Reveres.

Eat here regularly because it's convenient. The good: always a great selection of beer on tap and in bottles, and a nice selection scotches. Ambiance is ok, with very pleasant outdoor seating in the summer. The bad: food has become very generic (think Appleby's). It used to be a very authentic Irish pub with food to match. Now it's just like every other sports bar out there. Really disappointing.

A great lunch spot! I had the thai chicken wrap, which seemed like a stretch for this place, but it was actually great! A friend had a BLT, and said it was excellent. Great beer and liquor selection. Not bad at all!

The reuben is bad. Really bad. Great beer selection. Bill is a fantastic waiter/bartender, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

I believe this has since changed owners from our first review. When we stopped in, they had a limited menu due to a special summer party. Also, they had discontinued the chopped salad. We probably won't be going back much, if at all.
