Panera has really good food at a premium price for "fast/casual" dining. Expect lunch to be around $10-11 per person. The breads are fantastic and the desserts are very good. They also have a very nice selection of drinks from sodas and ice teas to smoothies and other blended concoctions.

Love Panera! Eat at different locations all the time. This particular review is about most recent dining exeperience at the Delafield location. My son ordered a Frontega Chicken panini. The first time the bread was impossible to eat - chunks of salt in it. So we took it back. They were gracious enough to make it again. 10 minutes later - still no sandwich. Why? They had burnt the bread! Third time's the charm - after about a 20 minute wait by which time the rest of us had finished eating the panini was delivered. No apology from the staff or manager. Just here's your sandwich, have a nice day. I am sure we'll be back but not if we have a similar experience again. You better be on your best behavior Panera of Delafield :)

Quick service, tasty food and a pleasant cashier. The place looks a bit weird as they're in the middle of a remodel, but there's nothing wrong with that - remodels require taking things down and fixing them. Yay for Panera. The soup is so good.

Went in on Thursday with my grandparents, sister, aunt, and 2 cousins. I had the Chicken Poppyseed Salad with fruit (pineapple, blueberries, strawberries, etc.). It was delicious and low cal. The place was packed but the food and service were both very good.

Recently I used Panera Bread online ordering for a business order for the following morning. It was fast, easy and efficient. When I arrived the next morning at 7:25am, my order was correct and waiting in a large bag for me to pick up. Because I had already prepaid online, all I needed was to sign a receipt that listed everything on my order. Will definitely use the online ordering again and continue to enjoy their fabulous, quick food!

Against my better judgment I went in this joint during the noon hour because I was on a quest for soup on a chilly, grey day last week. Of course it was packed and people are running into each other and no one is paying attention when their food is ready so they walk up to the pick-up counter and breathe on everybody else's food, asking if they missed their order. I did get my chicken and wild rice soup, which I love, and some slightly burnt bread. I found one empty table along the south windows, and it was placed on the end of a row, right next to two comfy chairs. I should have sat in one of the comfy chairs and just held my soup because due to the crowded layout of the tables, I had to get up and move my chair so someone else could get to the comfy chairs. Well, and one dude built like Chris Farley in the later years, was sprawling his legs out into the walkway, gesticulating wildly during his conversation, and blocking everyone from getting through that way. I tried not to stare, but I felt like I was watching a re-enactment of the Motivational Speaker sketch without the pratfalls. Farley was a WI native, so maybe this was a relative. It was just extremely crowded and I was reminded why I usually eat my lunch at 11:00 in the morning, or 2 in the afternoon. The more people in a room, the more brain-dead and inconsiderate they are.

We were there at the Delafield location at 9:45AM on April 13th. [We go to Panera's for breakfast or lunch on an average of fifteen times a year, at a variety of locations. This is my first Panera review]. For the most part, most Panera locations in southeast WI are the same, except that some are busier than others. We love Panera's. The sandwiches and salads are excellent, all freshly made to order. Prices are reasonable. The food and coffee is always consistently excellent. On this visit, we had just bagels and coffee. Bagels were outstanding. We love the "help yourself" coffee tables with various coffee choices, including but not limited to both Dark and Light Roast, DeCaf & Hazelnut. On this visit, a young woman by the name of "Catherine" was unbelievably friendly, funny & helpful, to the point that I just had to include her in this review.

Solid 3 1/2 stars for this Panera. We went some family members on a Saturday morning, right before breakfast. People were falling out the door. Although the food was excellent (turkey artichoke hot pannini- delicious!) the service could have been better. The girl at the checkout tried to rope me into a 'rewards card' (although I like Panera, I don't go as often as the card would 'reward.') I was getting the upsell even after I said 'no thanks' 3 or 4 times. My coffee was left at the front counter, I wasn't really sure where I was supposed to pick it up. They called my name, and when I went up to retrieve my food, I was told it was still on the grill (WTF?) Obviously some mix up there - and when I picked up my coffee, to my dismay there was whipped cream on it. (after I requested no whipped cream). Oh well. All in all, although the food was standard Panera (very good) the attitude of the girls at the checkout could have been a little better. The immense number of people made it difficult for us to find seating, but we were able to move some tables together and work it out. I'll go again, just not at such a busy time.
