A solid 3.5 I would say. Ihad the chicken biscuits with gravy. It was good with nice thick peppery gravy but there was so much you cant pick up the biscuits to eat like a sandwich. Theeggs were perfectly over easy with nice runny yolks. My wife had the french toast. One piece was perfect . Crisp crunch on the outside and creamy almost custard like on the inside. The other piece was rather dry. Service was ok and coffee was horrible. Overall though nor a bad breakdast

Good chain family restaurant. Now have tater tots. Coffee comes by the thermos pot so always plenty at the table. Specialty are muffins which come with some meals. Had the new Country Smasher. Very good and would get it again.

We stopped here and were pleased with our meals. They have several low-calorie options, which was nice to see. Also, a seniors menu. My dining partners really enjoyed what they had. One had tilapia and the other had a turkey dinner. Neither one of them cared for the roll that was provided. I got one of the favorite fit breakfasts and it was really good. Oh, and I almost forgot FREE PIE MONDAY!!

This is where we go if we don't want fast food but we are in a hurry. The staff is always polite and friendly. The food is always hot. They are definitely better than fast food. I know there are a lot of people out there who think places like this don't serve great food but I think your expectations are too high. This place does what it says fresh cooked food made hot and served with a smile. I've always had good service here and the people at the counter do a great job even late night when they have to deal with some interesting people. I like the food here and love that you can get in and out in 30 min. Great place to eat and friendly.

I was starving and since this restaurant was close to the hotel..... I was greeted promptly, seated and given all of the menus. James, the server, greeted me and took my drink order. By the time he came back with the drink, I had made up my mind. I had opted to have the Jumbo Shrimp Dinner. Since I was not familiar with the menu, he showed me where the side options were listed. So I had the fries and corn. My dinner came out within a few minutes which James placed in front of me. Then proceed to place the bill on the table. HUH???? I haven't even had time to try the food. Kinda rubbed me the wrong way. James would check in with me periodically but still made be feel rushed. The food was okay for a " When I was paying my bill at the counter, I was speaking with Cheryl regarding of the presenting of the bill with the meal. Since I was not asked if I wanted any desserts at the table, I had asked about slice of pie to go. Cheryl had recommended the Wild Berry pie. I was incredible. I would return and recommend this restaurant.

Great pumpkin pie pancakes, really top notch actually. Also, excellent decaf coffee. Usually decaf has an acidic taste but this coffee was really good. 5 stars for the decaf and pancakes. Only negative was the ice water had a slightly strange taste, and they did not have bottled water. I just drank more decaf instead but I could have used a bottled water. Overall good food and nice people.

Decent experience last two times i've been here. First time was with my fiance just to see what the 'habub' was about this place. Clean but as with any chain restaurant leaves for more to be desired, depending on what waitress you get, it's a hit or miss, and my second time around was a hit with the waitress which I commend her for what a great job she did tending me, especially on veterans day. Food was good, simple pancakes, eggs, and bacon before work, all well done, and she received a well deserved tip even if my meal was free. Although I will knock down two stars for the rudeness of the hostess who just told me after I politely asked him if my meal was discounted and just plainly said, "yeah I got it" and gestured me with his thumb out the door. That is not the way you treat paying customers regardless if i'm a veteran or not! I treat people better in my job and you should too!

There is a reason I have not eaten at a Perkin's since high school. It say a lot when you read a review where someone calls a place consistant and then describes mediocre food. We should have ran. The staff was odd and the food was awful. I made a gross error ordering the steak which had never seen salt or pepper or any other sort of seasoning. I had to use A 1 to make it paletable and I do not eat steak sauce. There were five of us dining and the only good food out of that kitchen was a 4 year olds rainbow pancakes. Oh and when we went to pay and I handed the manager cash he told me to scan it. HUH? Says a lot about the place. Unless you are desperate run do not walk elsewhere!

Very consistent fare. You know what to expect from this place. Most of the food is mediocre, but they do have a very fine baked goods section and I highly recommend the muffins. The staff are pleasant and efficient, and the wait time is pretty good. All in all, it's not the best place in town but you could defiantly breakfast in worse.

I agree, it's an okay breakfast place: reasonably priced and good quality. Good break from hotel food!

Okay breakfast place. It reminds me of an ihop combined with bakers square. Price is reasonable.

Best Pancakes, light & tasty. My favorite is the Country Club Omelet. Comes with potatoes and pancakes or muffin. Very good sandwiches, too. Friendly Staff seems to turn over frequently but there are a few I recognize time after time. Plenty of food for the money.
