This is our favorite Chinese restaurant for carry out. In particular we love their egg rolls, the best I have ever had. Their entrees are on par with other Chinese places but we stick with the General Tso's chicken, the sauce is what makes the dish.

Somewhere... somehow, we heard Peach Garden was a "good" Chinese restaurant. Yeaaaah, suuuure. Anyway, our experience was far from good. A couple of items were juuust horrific. We ordered A LOT! We were hungry, it was me, my boyfriend, and our baby which obviously couldn't eat any of it. I'll just tell you what we didn't like and what REALLY wasn't good. The crab ragoon were just bleh, wasn't good, wasn't bad. I had to drench the thing in sweet and sour sauce since it really needed it! The beef fried rice was the same way (minus the sweet and sour sauce). I got the pineapple chicken combo that came with an eggroll which was burnt to hell! Why did they serve me a burnt egg roll? Only God and them know. The pineapple sweet sauce that you're supposed to dip the chicken in was SO EFFING THICK!!! I mean they literally put so much corn starch in it that when I dipped my chicken in it the darn sauce would NOT STICK TO IT! I could give it to you and you wouldn't see a tiny little drop of red on it. IT WAS NOT EDIBLE! It was goo... They only had one server and another asian woman I'm assuming was the manager which didn't help at all. We waited a long time for the food. There were quite a lot of tables that this one server was waiting on. We were there for probably almost 2 hours. After all this, we spent about $60. Biggest waste of our money and super disappointed. Sorry to write such a mean review but please don't serve us burnt shi** and unedible sauce that doesn't stick to food and charge us an arm and a leg for it. Makes me angry talking about it. Don't go here. I'm obviously being very generous with the 2 stars.

They make very fresh food with very little breading so you get plenty of meat and veggies instead of fried filler. Their egg rolls have a distinct peanut butter won ton wrap that is really good too

DISGUSTING. Those who are familiar with my reviews know I support local businesses but the Peach Garden is not one of them. I paid $30 for two meals that weren't even edible. Frozen tasteless vegetables, leathery tasteless frozen shrimp and chicken, WAY TOO SALTY. Easily the worst $30 I've spent on a meal. It was so disgusting we went to McDonald's across the street for dinner after dining at the Peach Garden. If you ever feel like Chinese I suggest (and the owners of Peach Garden) driving a bit further to Meiji in Waukesha and see/taste how a place that uses fresh, quality ingredients does things. FORTUNE COOKIE SAYS: This restaurant never again.

Food was blah. The egg rolls were horrible. Overcooked. Filled with peanut butter - to the point that the peanut butter texture was very noticeable. I took a few bites and fed the rest to the dog. The egg fu young was fine - as Midwestern Chinese food goes.

The Best Westernized Chinese food in Milwaukee. Love the shrimp fried rice and the non traditional egg fu young. I agree with Jin L. Great comfort food. It is a great place for a non-frills meal that is reasonably priced. One regular places to eat.

My place to go for comfort food. The food is not fancy but very good. Like their lunch specials and buffet. The people there get some getting used to but the food out ways any discomfort you may feel with the staff. Once they warm up to you though they are very nice. The prices are cheap and there is always seating.

Terrible food of questionable safety. I have eaten there twice during the lunch hour, the first time I thought it might be an off day, but it wasn't. I felt quite ill after eating there the second time. Mall food court Chinese surpasses this slop. If you have even the slightest inkling of what good Chinese food should taste like you will be horrified by the fare. As terrible as the food is, the service is even worse. Prison cafeteria service would be friendlier.

I love Peach Garden. I've been going since high school and a friend worked as a hostess. The food is delicious and the best part of the meal are the egg rolls that are made with peanut butter\peanut oil. So yummy!

I love Peach Garden. Hands down they have the best egg rolls in town. In fact, many people come here and order only that! Also, the cook is excellent. I have yet to have a meal here that did not delight me. Delicious. And at a more than reasonable price. They don't deliver but they do an amazingly constant carry out business.

we went there for dinner early Saturday evening. it was a Packer playoff day, so i guess there was reason enough for only 1 other table in the restaurant. they did have a steady stream of take out orders going. the waitress was excellent and friendly. the service was above par. (since there were only 2 tables at 4-5 pm, there is no reason not to have good service.) my iced tea was freshly brewed and i got a new glass every time she came to the table. when we asked if the hot and sour soup was any good, she said it was a bit spicy for her but everyone seemed to enjoy it. that being said, we had to give it a try. it is made to order ... and it came out piping hot. the soup was indeed spicy. there is nothing worse than a bland hot and sour soup. give this one a try ... it was excellent! my lips and mouth were a bit tingly after eating the entire bowl. i tried the chicken dinner after we were informed they no longer carry the duck that is still on the menu. it was a chicken stuffed with ham. lightly battered and served with a traditional brown gravy and Chinese vegetables. to be honest it was really good. this mix of cuisine can sometimes go wrong if you know what i mean. my guest ordered the sweet and sour dish with shrimp, beef and chicken. the one good thing about it was that the sauce was served on the side. there is nothing worse than getting sweet and sour Chinese swimming in sauce. so this was a nice way to be served the dinner. still, it was just an average meal that could be found at any decent Chinese restaurant. all-in-all it was an average meal for a Chinese restaurant. nothing fancy. but nothing extremely special except for the sweet and sour soup. the decor has a Chinese flair, but it is in a strip mall. seems most Chinese restaurants have forgotten that decor really does make the dinner something special. at Yen Ching on the north side it is like stepping into a Chinese restaurant in China with all the bells and whistles.

This is a favorite for my bf and I when we want excellent Chinese food. We go for the egg rolls, which we agree are the best we've ever had. They are humongous, and taste like peanut butter, which caught us off guard but they were so good we quickly warmed up to them. Our servers have always been top notch, and have a good knowledge of the menu. The atmosphere is lacking, which is the main reason for the missing star. It is in a strip mall though which pretty much explains it. Some of the menu items taste the same-we substituted an item on the dinner for two but ended up with something that tasted the same but a different meat in it. Anyway, the dinner for two is waaay more food than we could eat by ourselves. But the soup is fantastic and so fresh. It tastes like they picked the sugar snap peas that day. We end up with three large Chinese takeout boxes after we eat our fill. Pretty good value for $30 if you like leftovers.

Peach Garden is a wonderful Cantonese Chinese restaurant. I don't know what the poor reviewers expect, but Chinese food has several variations. I have severe allergies to onions and MSG, significant ingredients in most Chinese foods. All of the food at Peach Garden is made fresh, from scratch and they are more than gracious in preparing food with specific allergy concerns in mind. The egg rolls are excellent, the pineapple chicken is one of my favorites as well. I have no idea what the reviewers with poor reviews expect, but frozen vegetables and stale ingredients are absolutely the opposite of what I have experienced. The only thing bordering on stale would be the fortune cookies, but they are purchased elsewhere and not made on site - typical of Chinese restaurants. My husband and dine in or carry food out from there on a regular basis. The service is friendly and helpful. I'm on my way there to pick up a carry out order right now! I highly recommend it. If you are used to Szechwan Chinese, this is not the place for you. It leans more towards Cantonese. Now go order some egg rolls! :)

Used to be better, they are slipping a little. Getting a little sloppy. UPDATE: I went back not to long ago with my Sister and it was very good, they are back and tasting good. We will go back now!!!!

Worst Chinease food Ive ever ordered. I went to the restaurant and asked for a lunch menu . They have 6 specials on thier lunch menu, and if you get it to go you dont get the soup which made no sense to me. So I ordered Almond Chicken medium spicy and paid extra for hot and sour soup which again made no sense . Here is what I got...1 container of the most bland fried rice ive ever tasted. Not fresh tasting at all. Container number 2 had a yellow sauce with chunks of onions and flakes of red pepper, This was all a mystery to me until I opened container number 3...It was filled with chunks of breaded chicken something, that had been fried too long and literally smelled burnt. . So I called the restaurant back and talked to the same female who had taken my order . I said there must be a mix up cause i didnt order sweet and sour chicken. She replied oh no thats how we make our Almond Chicken. Now in 30 plus years of eating chinease id never heard of this. So needless to say i would never go back to this dump and wouldnt recomend it to anyone. The food is absolutely disgusting and made me throw up 15 minutes after eating the little bit that I did...Stay away !! 0 stars...
