Chipotle restaurants are generally consistent and good. That so said, I have been to this location 5-6 times and the service has been unusually friendly and efficient. As a result I always choose this location over another nearby Chipotle.

I went here three times and the experience was bad two times. It had to do with one particular well built guy with tattoos serving my food. One time they had run out of guacamole, I had bought a veggie bowl which comes with free guac. He was completely unapologetic and when I asked if they can do something about it, he said I can choose to not buy the bowl. In other places where I had similar issues they gave a free coupon for the next time. The second time he served very little of everything I asked, I literally had to ask can I have some more of this and that etc. While that may seem normal with this location, I have not seen much of meaner Chipotles. My third experience with a different serving lady was excellent, she was really nice/friendly and gave proper/ample portions of everything.

I am confused why they have more than one check-in at the same place. But they do have good food. Never have had a bad meal. Always fast, friendly service. Clean, and just all around great.

I absolutely love this location. I work nearby & i have the choice of this location or the one by Mayfair, i always choose this one. The employees are incredibly friendly & shout "hello" or "welcome" when you come through the door. Once you walk up to place your order, you have their undivided attention on what you want. They pack on whatever you ask for & dont skimp like other locations i have visited. My usual is a chicken fajita burrito bowl w/ chips on the side for dipping. I pretty much get all options available for that meal. All the salsas & picos, all the veggies.. Etc. The food was extremely fresh & it just feels good when you eat it! Not too many other spots you can get that much quality food for about $7. You wont see "80% meat" at this place like those other guys that start with T & end in L. Go Chipolte!

Pretty much my primary Chipotle location, Good service that is usually pretty fast. And the place is clean which is nice. No real complaints on anything here.

Food was very good & the employees were friendly, but there were food scraps on all of the vacant tables and the floor looked dirty.

I love Chipotle but I would recommend to stay away from this one. The service was extremely SLOW and the staff not friendly. Don't go here if you are in a hurry. They are also at the end of the parking lot and the only way out is to go past the drive thru lane of the Culvers. If they have a line you have to wait because the drive through blocks you from getting out.

I eat here at least once a week. Consistently delicious. You can order these things for pick up ahead of time via the Chipotle app on your iphone. They have brown rice. They have delicious carnitas. Excellent cheap dinner.

WHY: Tried to dine at Cafe One 24 for lunch but learned it closed so plan B was Chipotle. ORDERING: We were immediately greeted with a chorus of "HEELLLLOOO!!! why hi Chipotle staff how are ya? I think this Chipotle tries too hard to go fast - I get it you're like a Nascar pit crew of making burritos but slow the fuk down. I had two employees asking me questions at the same time. TASTED: Here's my problem with Chioptle. I order a chicken burrito with hot chicken, warm beans, hot rice AND THEN IT gets covered in cold things like pico and cold cheese. It turns what you think is going to be a hot burrito into a multi-temperature zone hot and cold salad. It sucks and it's like eating a salad that happens to be contained by a flour tortilla. SOUND: All the hard surfaces of concrete floors and metal counter tops COMBINED with what seemed like a day care full of kids eating here: way too loud. Crying babies competing for who can cry loudest. My version of hell.

After seeing another head line on how chipotle is crushing Mc Donald's I had to get over there and find out for my self. My opinion is that MD'S has so much serious competition in today's market and there is a ceiling to growth which they have reached. I do like a breakfast sandwich once in a while but I generally have no interest in MD'S lunch/dinner menu. It's a chain restaurant for Mexican food so I would likely not get here when I prefer real Mexican restaurants. I read the reviews and I was in and out in a flash and the parking lot has always been a mess with culvers screwing everything up. My experience was a pleasant one and I know better to just park past culvers and walk over like when I go to the pho place. I will post pictures. First impression as I walked in is a modern industrial hip looking place. 2 I could see real meat grilling which was cool and I knew it was going to be good. 3 I saw the line of fresh looking ingredients waiting to fill orders. I had the carnitas burrito bowl. I tasted the carnitas by it self and found it to be tender, moist and tasty but it will never replace the good Mexican restaurants and with that being said it had rich tasty flavor. My bowl consisted of carnitas, white rice, pinto beans, tomato salsa, sour cream and cheese. Over all it was pretty good for a chain but it would never replace the real Mexican restaurants. Cilantro mixed in my bowl really upped the flavor scale. The beans and rice had good texture while not cooked to mush and still firm. The ingredients were fresh and the whole thing worked very well. My meal was fresh and tasty which might start a new category of best fast food version of Mexican food. Over all I can see the appeal over MD'S because I felt like I was eating fresh healthier food over a boring MD'S meal with frys. I come to the conclusion that I would rather spent a couple dollars more and go to chipotle over the fast food burger places. I did enjoy my burrito bowl and when I can't get to a real Mexican place I would definitely come back.

Cold everything. Bad meat. Soft chips. West chipotle experience of my life. Sad and and disappointed as I usually enjoy the chipotle experience.

Server didn't listen to the order and skipped offering a meat, went on to next customer. One server was wiping her nose on her glove as if wearing a tissue. Gross. Sat down to eat burrito bowl and the rice was crunchy. Not the usual experience for chipotle, but not sure if I will return to this location.

Very unimpressed with service. I ordered a steak quesadilla. First off, they avoided beginning to cook my order for a full two minutes, so I had to stand there in line while seven customers had to shuffle around me while I waited for a simple grilled item. Then the cooking took another four minutes, stalling the line some more. They grilled the item in foil, then attempted to serve it to me still wrapped in the same foil that sat on the dirty grill - without even cutting my quesadilla into pieces. I had to insist upon it, just so I shouldn't be handed a giant greasy mess - which was done for me with a glare by one of their women on the line (12p on 8/12/14) who told me they never cut quesadillas for customers. Why, when I'm going to chipotle instead of qdoba because of supposed food quality, am I experiencing horrid service by comparison. I am normally a very easy going person who does not complain, but I will never be visiting this location again. Not when there are so many other comparable venues that will provide half-decent customer service.

So Katie, who love, love, loves to read my reviews, suggested this a lunch spot on a Friday work day. Apparently Qdoba is out and Chipotle is in. First thing I noticed was how similar it looked to Qdoba. Second thing what how crazy packed it was. The line moved pretty quick and I soon learned why. I recommend that you either consume copious amounts of caffeine before you go or bring a teen who understands speed speak. The cranked speed team of workers and I had a mismatch in communication because my finger pointing to the big wall menu that said "Featured Burrito Bowl" and my verbal statement of "I will have the featured burrito bowl" seemed to not be received. I was soon asked for each item I would or would not like, in rapid fire, even though the "Featured Burrito Bowl" listed each ingredient with delightful adjectives to boot. They spoke so fast that I had to ask each person in line to repeat what they said. Unfortunately that was not received as an invitation to slow down and articulate. Third, I did say I would like guacamole, since it was not listed on giant "Featured Burrito Bowl" list and what happened in a matter of seconds was so confusing and peculiar. The gal put 3 giant spoonfuls of guacamole, the equivalent of a tub of guac on my "Featured Burrito Bowl" and slid it to the cashier, regardless of my "woah, woah, woah". Suddenly the register said $11.09 as someone mumbled something about double guac....I felt like I was in some kind of warped "Feature Burrito Bowl" bumper car, dazed and confused. Finally, HOWEVER, I will say, Katie was right, it did taste way better than Qdoba and she reassured me they make strides to be a more conscious and community oriented food place. If I can get the food cost closer to $6 and not feel like I went through some kind of surreal server b movie experience, Chipotle will be in and Qdoba out.

I feel that it is my duty to be the lone dissenter of the Chipotle at 124th and Capitol. I used to be a fan of this place, especially when Kevin was managing this place, but not anymore. I even gave them a good 3 chances to redeem themselves, but my last experience there left me with no desire to ever return. The rice was so overcooked that it had no texture and felt like mush. The meat and rice seemed to have no flavor whatsoever. I'm not going to generalize and say that all Chipotles are terrible, but I would recommend steering clear of this one.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
